The political tide appears to be turning in the Republic of Ireland after Sinn Féin, the country’s largest opposition party, reversed its stance on proposed hate speech laws aimed at curbing the rise of the populist right. Additionally, the left-wing party hinted at adopting a Danish-style approach in opposing new EU open border policies.

Last week, Sinn Féin, the former political wing of the IRA paramilitary group, was criticised by both the Left and the Right as it signalled that it would drop support for controversial hate speech legislation that would see those convicted face up to five years in prison. This comes despite previous support for the very same legislation in the Irish Parliament.

Who the hell knows why they would support that, unless they were totally bought and paid for, in which case it is confusing how they would get out of that situation.

I don’t know the ins and outs of all this, frankly.

Sinn Féin is likely to lead a left-populist government after the next Irish election, but it has been rocked by recent grassroots protests in opposition to mass migration. Many pundits are linking the protests to a decline in electoral support for the party, particularly among its working-class base.

Despite previously supporting pro-migration policies, Sinn Féin TD (MP) Pa Daly was quick to emphasise that his party was “opposed to open borders.” He went on to say “We believe that Ireland needs a well-managed migration system” in relation to planned changes to EU asylum laws. This came after the party announced earlier this week that it would reverse its position on these laws.

Irish politics is changing fast. Last week, Dublin’s globalist elite were left spinning after the sudden resignation of centrist Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Leo Varadkar, and the country’s prospective new leader, Simon Harris, faces an uphill battle to be officially crowned his successor. Meanwhile, on Thursday morning, authorities arrested multiple suspects in relation to a string of arson attacks on asylum centres.

Sinn Féin’s change of heart on hate speech legislation means that the Republic will likely be without UK-style hate speech laws this side of a general election.

(This law was actually much worse than anything in the UK.)

Parties further to the left of Sinn Féin were quick to criticise the shift, with Labour leader Aodhán Ó Ríordáin claiming the party was taking cues from the populist right.

The party said it would also oppose many of the planned asylum measures at both the EU and the Irish level. It also raised hopes of Ireland using a special clause codified into various EU treaties that allows it to opt out of certain migration legislation, similar to Denmark.

So far, independent and non-aligned politicians appear to be the primary beneficiaries of the backlash against out-of-control migration in Ireland, with the centrist Fianna Fáil party witnessing a slew of defections of local councillors over the issue.

Ireland is probably the only country in Western Europe that could actually do something to change something.

Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has announced his resignation, citing “personal and political, but mainly political reasons” in a surprise move.

Flanked by colleagues outside government buildings in Dublin on Wednesday, Varadkar said he felt he was no longer the “best man” for the job. He said he would stay as prime minister until a successor can be elected after parliament returns from recess next month.

Varadkar first became prime minister in 2017, after being elected leader of the Fine Gael party. He is the country’s youngest premier and Ireland’s first gay leader.

Varadkar had also been grappling with several controversies at home. On March 9, his government lost two referenda to change what it called “sexist” language in the constitution.

He has also faced backlash over Ireland’s housing crisis and soaring immigration numbers, the most recent being criticism over his government’s treatment of a tent village of asylum-seekers who had camped outside government offices.

The government faced condemnation over reports that it moved the asylum-seekers to tented accommodation outside the city center in what critics said was an attempt to hide them from visiting St. Patricks Day tourists.

Varadkar will likely be remembered for his efforts to liberalize Ireland, easing the country’s strict anti-abortion laws.

A fire, which broke out at a hotel in County Galway on Saturday night, is being investigated as a criminal damage incident by gardaí (Irish police).

It started at the Ross Lake House hotel, in Rosscahill, at around 23:35 local time before being brought under control by fire services.

No one was in the hotel at the time – the site has not been in use for a number of years.

It had been due to accommodate 70 asylum seekers this week and protesters were at the site earlier on Saturday, according to Irish broadcaster RTÉ.

Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) Leo Varadkar condemned the incident and said there was “no justification for violence, arson or vandalism in our Republic”.

In a statement, he said those carrying such crimes are a “very small minority”, adding that “the response from many communities has been incredible”.

The Ross Lake, which is in private ownership, had been offered a one-year contract to house international protection applicants.

Protesters had gathered to form a blockade at the entrance of the hotel in opposition to government plans to house the asylum seekers on the premises from Thursday.

Ireland has run out of accommodation for asylum seekers and is offering tents, sleeping bags and extra money to new arrivals who face sleeping on the streets.

The International Protection Accommodation Service, a government agency, was unable to offer proper shelter to dozens of people this week amid a severe housing shortage.

The government expressed deep concern as at least 32 asylum seekers – all men – faced the prospect of sleeping rough in cold, wet, windy conditions. Dozens more are expected to arrive this week.

Roderic O’Gorman, Ireland’s minister for integration, said authorities were working with homeless organisations to offer basic services. In addition to tents and sleeping bags, newly arrived asylum seekers that are not accommodated will receive a weekly payment of €113.50 (£97.15), a €75 increase on the usual €38.50 offered.

O’Gorman said his department hoped to source additional accommodation in coming weeks. “We have line of sight to some additional accommodation – some coming online before Christmas and some coming online after Christmas and we will look to add more and consistently look to add more,” he said, adding that asylum seekers who were left on the streets may sue the state.

The Criminal Justice (Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill 2022 has been delayed after a chorus of negative reactions to the bill grew louder in the first half of this year.

Varadkar said in July that he “strongly disagrees” with people who dismiss hate crimes as being “wokeism”, claiming that Ireland is seeing a rise in racism.

“Forming a mob” is the most traditional form of “democracy.” This is something that was done throughout history by people who were unhappy with the government.

The natural reaction of any government to a riot – going back thousands of years – is to do something to placate them. The mob obviously embodies a general sentiment in the society. Responding to mobs is a much better system than voting.

The mob should be recognized and honored.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that the government’s “engagement” with local communities on asylum centres is not about “seeking permission,” but instead about helping locals to “understand the current situation.”

Speaking to the Dáil during Leader’s Questions on Tuesday, he said that while some people have “reasonable concerns” about asylum centres in their area – such as “the impact on services like healthcare and education, issues around safety in some cases and the impact on the local economy” – the “whole role” of community engagement was simply to provide information and dispel “misinformation” for locals.

“The whole role of that community engagement team is to give people information, to dispel misinformation and to listen to genuine concerns that people have when a large number of people move into their town,” he said.

“That is the whole idea around engagement…nobody has a right of veto to say who lives near them, beside them, or in their town or village.”

“It is not the case that community engagement is about seeking permission from communities as to whether people are going to move into the area,” he said.

Commenting on the data, the Irish Freedom Party which opposes mass immigration lamented the population surge which it claimed has a detrimental effect on working-class citizens.

“We don’t have the housing or infrastructure for this extraordinary increase in population. Mass immigration pushes up rents and lowers wages,” the party said.

The party’s president, Hermann Kelly, told Remix News: “A huge population increase while the Irish birth rate is well below replacement level means that many foreign migrants attracted by offers of work or high welfare payments are flooding into Ireland.

The influx of new arrivals coincides with record levels of homelessness reported earlier this year, with Department of Housing data recording 8,835 adults and 3,765 children living in emergency accommodation in June. The figure had risen by around 20 percent from June last year.

Mattie McGrath, an independent MP called for a referendum on immigration after the publication of this data and recent polling revealed that 75 percent of Irish people think the country is taking in too many refugees.

“This is total open borders. We have 12,000 homeless ourselves. And the money we are spending on this situation is unbelievable,” he told the Gript media outlet.

That’s a little over a 1% increase. The 1.8 million is supposedly the ones who never made contact with Border Patrol, but no one believes that number. During the Trump Administration, it was estimated that only 1 in 10 make contact with Border Patrol. Given that Biden doesn’t ship people back after they contact Border Patrol, or even detain them, people are less likely to avoid them. I don’t think the real number is 38 million. But it could be 8 million in three years, which, combined with legal immigration, would put the US on the same level as Ireland.

The good news is: only the lowest of the low are willing to pack up and leave their home countries to go live on welfare in the US. Therefore, the third world is being cleansed of their trash. Mexico has for a long time been a great country, much better than the US, because they sent all their trash across the border.

Irish Green Party Sen. Pauline O’Reilly defended a controversial bill that could jail citizens for merely possessing material that criticizes gender identity.

The Irish Criminal Justice Bill purportedly targets “hate speech,” but some critics have compared it to the concept of punishing people for “thought crime,” a term popularized by George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984.”

The text of the “Criminal Justice (Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill 2022,” notes that a person can be imprisoned if they “prepare or possess” material that is “likely to incite violence or hatred against a person or a group of persons on account of their protected characteristics,” one of which being “gender” identity.

The Catholic Herald observed in past months that the legislation could lead to criminalization of Catholic teaching and religious expression in general, “The Catholic Church has long-standing objective positions on issues, which, if they are to be uttered in public (and that may include the pulpit), may cause the priest or other adherent to be made subject to prosecution.”

O’Reilly defended the bill in a speech on Tuesday as she debated its merits with her peers, even as she condemned some of their rhetoric on “gender or sexual identities.” After suggesting social media has “fueled hatred” and revealed the “dirty, filthy, underbelly of hatred in Irish society,” O’Reilly argued that hate speech legislation is merely another necessary law to restrict freedom for the “common good.”

“When one thinks about it, all law and all legislation is about the restriction of freedom. This is exactly what we are doing here,” O’Reilly argued. “We are restricting freedom but we are doing it for the common good.”

She then suggested that people should not be free to disagree with people’s identities, warning this “discomfort” is a severe hazard.

She continued, “If a person’s views on other people’s identities make their lives unsafe and insecure, and cause them such deep discomfort that they cannot live in peace, our job as legislators is to restrict those freedoms for the common good.”

“One cannot do and say whatever one likes in our society, which is a society governed by laws,” she added. “This is very fundamental to a legislative system. It should be one of the very fundamentals for any legislators who sit in this Chamber that they understand what we do is restrict freedoms.”

The senator also addressed “gender” directly, claiming that young people in society “are absolutely shocked that we are even having any kind of conversation about what other people’s gender is.” She claimed that society has had an issue “down through generations,” where people “have been fearful about walking outside their door because they are attacked verbally,” a process she said that “restricts their freedoms.”

She framed the debate about this legislation instead as a debate over “whether we can move forward toward a kinder society.”

Earlier in the debate, Sen. Rónán Mullen noted the hazards of punishing people for questioning something as hotly debated as gender ideology.

The Irish government’s crusade for open borders has reportedly been disrupted after protesters blocked a migrant bus from entering the country’s latest asylum centre.

It hasn’t been “disrupted,” Breitbart. It’s one bus.

Locals in the rural town of Mullingar are said to have blocked at least one migrant bus from entering Columb Barracks, a shuttered military facility that has been earmarked to become Ireland’s latest asylum centre.

It is the latest development in Ireland’s ongoing mass migration conflict, which has seen the country’s government bring tens of thousands of foreign arrivals into the country despite local fears over the safety of women and children.

The state’s latest attempt to plant migrants into a rural part of the country is said to have partly failed however after arriving migrants were challenged by people from the local community.

According to a report by Gript Media, an impromptu demonstration against the housing of foreign migrants blocked a bus transporting the new arrivals from entering the facility, with the vehicle eventually being forced to turn around and leave the area.

Overall, the government plans to house 120 foreign arrivals in tents at the facility which had originally ceased operating in 2012, though locals have now vowed that they will stand in opposition to the plans.

Even if this one town were to succeed, it wouldn’t matter, because they are doing this in every single town in the country, and the town will quickly be surrounded by the hordes.

The incident is the latest skirmish between the government and the Irish public over mass migration, with politicians in the country insisting that the island will take in tens of thousands of foreign arrivals over the coming years.

Around 70,000 refugees and asylum seekers are said to have arrived in the country of only 5 million people last year alone, with authorities continuing to insist that it will not implement border control measures and instead opt to use taxpayer money to look after arrivals instead.

In Ireland, any kind of political connection to the UK can become highly toxic politically speaking, with British ties often being seen as a betrayal of Irish independence and national identity.

If the protests do get out of control, Ireland will just take a page from Canada’s Book of Blood and send the cops to beat the shit out of the protesters, then record all of their names and close their bank accounts, and ban them from having jobs.

I don’t know what to tell you, but it’s simply a fact that the whole White Western World is totally helpless, and the government can just do whatever it wants, because there is nowhere near a large enough body of people who oppose the system to rise up and bring down democracy.

What is going to happen is going to happen, and the only thing anyone can do is protect themselves and their families from the things that are to come – and pray we lose a war to Russia and China.

I’m still trying to process the fact that Ireland, formerly the single most conservative country in Western Europe by like, a lot, has a gay foreigner Prime Minister.

Now Ireland is the main vagino-anal base, they’ve got a homosexual Indian running the country, and he has an army of women enforcing all the rules-based order of democracy (or values). The Irish men do nothing but sit there and take it.

Now, this anal-paki occupation government is openly saying they’re coming to molest the children of Ireland, and there are no protests. They have been protesting immigration, but honestly, at this point, if you are this far gone, it seems like you’d want Moslems to come in and clean the place up.

If I had a choice between “children being turned into trannies by the school” and “ruled by Sharia law,” I would not have a hard time making that choice.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Tánaiste Micheál Martin have spoken out in favour of including information about transgender identity in the new primary school curriculum.

Mr Martin described a letter from a Catholic Primary Schools Management Association opposing the inclusion of transgender issues in the new course as “not the way to deal with these issues”.

Asked if he was in favour of primary schoolchildren being taught about such matters, Mr Varadkar said: “I am. I think the purpose of the education system is to prepare children for life, to teach them about the world. Trans people exist, they’ve always existed, and I think it makes more sense in schools to just inform children about the world around them.

“It doesn’t have to be a value judgment as to whether it’s right or wrong,” he said. “But you know, it just makes sense to me that education is about teaching children about the real world, and trans people exist in the real world. So you know, why not just give them information or facts? It doesn’t have to be a value judgment in either direction or challenge anyone’s religious or personal opinions.”

But Mr Varadkar added that parents should have the right to withdraw their children from certain classes if they wished. “Parents know what’s best for their kids. And I think we do need to respect parental choice when it comes to them guiding what’s best for their children,” he told journalists in Waterford.

Earlier Mr Martin was critical of the approach from the Catholic Primary Schools Management Association (CPSMA).

“I think letters of that kind are not the way to deal with these issues. I think that there has to be a sensitivity around this and the broader context is the Relationships and Sexuality programme which is in our primary schools,” he said.

In the letter to the Ministers the CPSMA expressed their belief that any decision to teach primary schoolchildren about transgenderism “would be counterproductive, generating unnecessary divisions in school communities where none now exists”.

The CPSMA also claimed that such a move might add to what it described as “a growing psychological contagion amongst young and vulnerable children”.

The CPSMA, which provides advice and support for chairpersons, principals and boards of management in over 2,800 schools, said that teaching primary children “what it means to be transgender would require to teach about something with which there is neither a scientific nor social consensus to highly impressionable young children”.

It pointed out that “the science is far from settled on this matter, there is no scientific consensus on the cause (or causes) of gender dysphoria, and there is currently an intense international debate on the appropriate treatment of children with gender dysphoria”.

The “affirmative care model has recently been rejected in Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands and the UK”, it said, while there was “mounting evidence of psychological contagion”. In the UK, “the numbers of children referred to the Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) rose from 50 a year in 2009 to 2,500 in 2020″.

There is no reason to use this language.

What everyone might not know is that this is backed up by the global warmers who support it because it sterilizes kids.

It noted how “this increase in referrals was accompanied by a change in the case-mix from predominantly birth-registered males presenting with gender incongruence from an early age, to predominantly birth-registered females presenting with later onset of reported gender incongruence in early teen years”.

About “one third of children and young people referred to GIDS have autism or other types of neurodiversity”, it said.

That’s a point which repeating over and over again. Autists are hugely overrepresented in the tranny community, presumably because they take it literally when people tell them they could be a girl trapped in a boy’s body.

Some studies put the number at more than a third, and when you consider that there are more girls than boys getting into trannyism, you have a situation where almost all the boys who become tranny are autistic. This is literally sexual exploitation and mutilation of mentally handicapped little kids.

We live in a society where this is considered normal. That means that the society is totally beyond redemption. If anyone ever tries to tell you things are normal or “not that bad,” just point to the child tranny issue, because it is literally the worst thing ever. There is nothing in this physical universe than the child tranny agenda.

It is obviously much worse than simply killing kids, like the Aztecs did.

But it’s also worse than any form of physical torture. It’s even worse than any other form of sexual torture.

Throughout history, if a homosexual kidnapped a boy and cut his dick off, the boy would bleed out in mere minutes. It was never possible to inject someone with the hormones of the opposite sex and make them feel that they have no humanity or identity as a human being.

This is torture of the soul.

It is the worst possible thing that could ever be done. You cannot think of anything worse that is possible to do to someone. And this is not simply happening, it is celebrated as a moral good.

We are at the bottom of hell now, folks. It can’t possibly get any worse than this.
