In America, you have cops running around everywhere, threatening and assaulting people, regularly murdering citizens.

In China, however, the police are very peaceful, and are mostly just there to help out if you have trouble. They deal with domestic violence or bar fights or whatever, but there isn’t really any crime in China anymore, so you don’t see police very often.

There is nothing more bizarre than Americans claiming China is a police state. This is like the kettle calling the clear glass “black.”

The Guardian:

China will train thousands of foreign law enforcement officers so as to see the world order “develop in a more fair, reasonable and efficient direction”, its minister for public security has said.

“We will [also] send police consultants to countries in need to conduct training to help them quickly and effectively improve their law enforcement capabilities,” minister Wang Xiaohong told an annual global security forum.

Wang Xiaohong made the announcement in the eastern city of Lianyungang on Monday in front of law enforcement representatives from 122 countries, regions and international organisations such as Interpol.

The forum is part of ongoing efforts by China’s ruling Communist party to position itself as a global security leader. In 2022 China’s leader, Xi Jinping, launched the Global Security Initiative (GSI), which centres China as a facilitator to “improve global security governance … and promote durable peace”.

Last year, Beijing said the GSI sought to encourage greater cooperation between tertiary-level military and police academies, and was “willing to provide other developing countries with 5,000 training opportunities in the next five years to train professionals for addressing global security issues”.

Monday’s announcement suggests that number is increasing, with Wang noting that China has already trained 2,700 foreign law enforcement officers in the past year.

Last week after a China-Africa forum, Beijing announced it will train 1,000 more police enforcement officers for the African continent “and jointly ensure the safety of cooperation projects and personnel”. It was not immediately clear if those 1,000 officers are included in the 3,000 cited by Wang on Monday.

Yeah, I’m sure the blacks need some policing.

A 47-year-old New York City woman was recently arrested for unlawful eviction after trying to prevent squatters from re-entering the $1 million property bequeathed to her by her family.

Adele Andaloro changed the locks on the Flushing, Queens home, which according to NYC law is not allowed if “tenants” have inhabited a building for more than 30 days, which in this case, some had.

According to ABC7, a number of people began occupying the home on February 6 and refused to leave. When a crew went out to interview Andaloro, one of the squatters arrived at the property and unlocked the door. After being confronted, however, she fled.

With the door wide open, Andaloro and the crew entered. In addition to her furniture, she discovered two men sleeping in a room at the back of the house, one of whom had only been “renting” for two days. A number of 911 calls were placed, and when police showed up, they took the men away.

Andaloro explained that police told her they could arrest her if the locksmith she had called earlier that day went ahead and changed the locks. Nonetheless, she told him to do it.

A short time later, the two men who had been apprehended returned to the property and confronted her, calling 911.

“Why is it that I have to leave and he doesn’t have to leave?” Andaloro asked officers when they showed up, to which one replied, “Technically he can’t be kicked out. You have to go to [housing] court.”

In the end, Andaloro was arrested and the men were allowed to remain in the home, pending further legal action.

This is perhaps peak “anarcho-tyranny.”

Two of three people charged with arson in the burning of the Wendy’s restaurant in Atlanta where a police officer fatally shot Rayshard Brooks in June 2020 have pleaded guilty after reaching deals with prosecutors.

Chisom Kingston, Natalie White and John Wade were arrested on arson charges within weeks of the fire, which came in the midst of weeks of upheaval and protest across the country in the wake of George Floyd’s death under the knee of a Minneapolis police officer. A Fulton County grand jury in January 2022 indicted the trio on two counts each of first-degree arson and one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree arson.

Kingston and White on Thursday pleaded guilty to the charges and each received a sentence of five years of probation, a $500 fine and 150 hours of community service to be completed with a nonprofit organization within the first year of probation, according to online court records. They were each sentenced under Georgia’s first offender law, meaning that if they complete their sentences without violating the terms or committing another crime, their records will be wiped clean.

Wade’s case was still pending. He was in federal prison in West Virginia after pleading guilty in February 2022 to a charge of conspiracy to burn U.S. Postal Service vehicles. Amanda Young, a lawyer listed for him in court records, declined on Tuesday to comment on his Fulton County case or his co-defendants’ plea deals.

Khalil Eaddy, an attorney for Kingston, said his client is remorseful and is grateful to have this case behind him.

Now say he’s a good boy, going to school, going to church.

“This is a good young man committed to his family and his community” Eaddy said in a press release Tuesday. “Since that night three years ago, he’s not only graduated from Georgia State University with plans to begin graduate school, he has kept the faith with our courts and with justice itself.”

Drew Findling and Zack Kelehear, attorneys for White, said in a statement that their client resolved her case with a plea “after three years of litigation, on the eve of a specially set jury trial.”

The fast food restaurant was set ablaze during a protest on June 13, 2020, the night after a police officer fatally shot Brooks.

It’s actually insane that you can burn down any business and get a $500 fine. You would think that doing it for political reasons would be an enhancer.

Certainly, the fact that J6 protesters committed trespassing for political reasons enhanced their trespassing sentences.

The justice system is too out of control. This isn’t sustainable. No government that has acted like this, that has had a multi-tiered politicized justice system, has lasted very long. You would think, just logically, that even if they agree with this ideologically, the government would be looking at this and saying “this isn’t viable, we can’t sustain a system that doesn’t have basic rules of justice.”

I mean, it’s not debatable. No system in history has been able to sustain this. I think the government people now are thinking that technology is going to make things different. It won’t, actually.

In the state where the “Defund the Police” movement was born after the 2020 death of George Floyd, one community may actually see its police department vanish after all department members resigned.

The members of the Goodhue City Police Department in Minnesota cited “lack of pay” and recruitment issues, according to lawofficer.com.

The city’s website shows the department has a chief and two full-time officers.

Police Chief Josh Smith resigned Wednesday, with the other members resigning Friday the report said. The city called a special counsel meeting for Monday to address the resignations, with a meeting notice citing “Chief Smith, Officer Brecht and part-time officers resignations,” “pay increase” and “current status of the current police department” as discussion items.

According to KIMT-TV, citing Robert J.V. Vose, Goodhue County City Attorney, Chief Josh Smith discussed pay with the city council last week and resigned after the council said it could keep talking about the issue this week.

The city does not believe this is a negotiation tactic, Vose said. The city may contract with the county sheriff for law enforcement.

“The option the city has that’s obviously available to it I think is that the city contract with the Goodhue County Sheriff’s office to provide local police services,” Vose said.

The Post Bulletin reported that Goodhue Mayor Ellen Anderson Buck said Chief Smith “has accepted a position with the Lake City Police Department.”

“I have been in contact with the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Department and will be bringing information before the council on Monday evening. I want to reassure the residents of Goodhue we will have law enforcement coverage in the interim,” she said.

Police are battling against multiple factors, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard of Michigan said, according to CandGNews.

“The perception of police on the national stage also has been horrible. Any officer who has acted inappropriately should, obviously, be held accountable, but this is a small number of officers, but that impression has washed over all officers. People are asking why they would want to go into a field where they would have to deal with this perception,” Bouchard said.

“I see it similar to the Vietnam vets, who came home after serving and were demonized. I have seen businesses and restaurants that refuse to serve cops. … I want people to know that the person who hates a bad cop the most is a good cop,” he said.

They just hate all cops, bro.

Some of the people who were arrested during a 2017 protest over the acquittal of a white police officer in the shooting death of Anthony Lamar Smith have started receiving their share of a $4.9 million settlement the city agreed to this year.

The first checks were distributed Friday to some of the 84 people covered by the settlement. Their lawsuit had claimed the protesters’ rights were violated when they were caught in a police “kettle” as officers surrounded and arrested everyone in the area. Three people who filed individual lawsuits also settled for $85,000 each.

The city denied wrongdoing as part of the settlement, which promises payouts between $28,000 and more than $150,000.

Dekita Roberts told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that she initially thought it might be a scam when she first got the call about the settlement.

“It was just a shock and a surprise,” said Roberts, adding that she wants to invest some of the money and try to set some aside for her children.

Another man who picked up his check Friday, Ali Bey, 36, said he plans to use the money to start his own construction company.

“This takes five steps out of the way for me,” Bey said. “As far as getting a truck and tools, I can begin doing that by the end of the day. I already got some of the clientele.”

They were among the crowd of people protesting after former St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley was acquitted in the Dec. 20, 2011, shooting death of Smith, who was Black.

Protesters said police surrounded more than 120 people who officers said did not follow dispersal orders. Several people claimed police used excessive force and indiscriminate pepper spray, including against bystanders who were not protesting.

St. Louis has paid more than $10 million altogether in connection with police actions on Sept. 17, 2017. That includes a $5 million payment to Luther Hall, a Black undercover officer who said he was assaulted by fellow police officers who thought he was a protester.

I’m really glad race relations are getting so much better, what with all of this money pouring into the black community.

Especially in St. Louis – things are just getting better and better, as we really see the utopia unfolding.

Police are no longer looking for the crazed vagrant in Prospect Park who doused a woman with urine and fatally beat her dog with a stick, the pooch’s grief-stricken owner said this week.

Jessica Chrustic — whose 2-and-a-half-year-old golden retriever mix, Moose, was the victim of the random and unprovoked attack on Aug. 3 — said 78th Precinct cops told her the case was closed on Columbus Day after a midday ride in search of the elusive attacker.

“When they’d dropped me off, I thanked them for their time and that’s when they informed me that they were closing the case,” Chrustic, 41, told The Post.

The dog, Moose.

“I was obviously taken aback. I questioned why. He said, ‘It’s been two months.’

“The police should have already been able to apprehend him. I have gotten a litany of excuses,” she said. “I won’t rest until he’s found.”

Chrustic also accused her city Councilwoman, Democrat Shahana Hanif — a defund the police socialist — of not taking the case seriously.

A spokesman for Hanif’s office previously called the case “complicated” and said the NYPD was not “the vehicle to bring safety to our community.”

Chrustic said she had not spoken to Hanif at all about the case, and only got a call from the councilwoman after The Post reached out.

“The investigation is active and ongoing,” a spokesman said. “Since the incident, the NYPD has continuously taken investigative measures to bring the individual responsible to justice. The NYPD has conducted canvasses of the park with witnesses, posted images of the suspect and increased patrols in the area.”

Moose was buried last week under a favorite Hydrangea on land Chrustic owns upstate.

His killing sent shockwaves through the Park Slope community.

“One thing is certain: Anyone who has attacked and even killed should not remain on the street, posing further danger to living, feeling beings,” said Ingrid Newkirk, president of the nonprofit People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

In the absence of action from the police, one local denizen, Kristian Nammack, attempted to create a neighborhood watch, which he called Park Slope Panthers. The Panthers, however, divided the neighborhood’s ultra-woke residents and faced criticism by those who felt it would be better to do nothing. The group lasted one meeting before disbanding.

“I predicted that this would not work, because I knew immediately what the organizer was going to face,” said Guardian Angels’ founder Curtis Sliwa, adding that he was preparing to send his own troops into the park.

It’s good that it’s tearing apart a leftist “community.” They deserve it.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg finally did the right thing by dropping murder charges against bodega worker Jose Alba, but he hasn’t remotely admitted he was wrong from the start.

Nor abandoned his reflexive support for thugs over crime victims.

Moving to dismiss the case, Bragg conceded only that his office couldn’t prove the “defendant was not justified in his use of deadly physical force.” How did it take him two weeks to accept the obvious?

Again: Video showed from the start that younger, bigger Austin Simon cornered Alba behind the counter and attacked him; the clerk’s stabbing of his attacker was clear self-defense.

Yes, since the stabbing proved fatal, the DA had a duty to investigate possible criminal charges. But that was no excuse for prosecutors initially requesting $500,000 bail for a bodega clerk. Even when the court instead set the bond at $250,000, that guaranteed Alba would be stuck in Rikers — despite Bragg’s much-stated desire to keep perps out of jail.

It took outside intervention to get bail reduced and Alba sprung, and even then Bragg wouldn’t drop the second-degree murder charge even as more evidence of self-defense emerged.

Why don’t white people do this for each other?

The Post took up Alba’s cause because Manhattan prosecutors were re-victimizing the hardworking Dominican immigrant with their wrongful accusations.

Meanwhile, Bragg instantly refused to even consider charges against Simon’s girlfriend, who not only triggered the fatal encounter by bringing Simon to the store to avenge the clerk’s alleged rudeness, but proceeded to stab Alba after he’d warded off the attacker.

That shows the DA believes it’s the victims (and cops) who have a duty to “de-escalate” tense situations, not the actual lawbreakers.

Charging him in the first place wouldn’t have happened if he were black.

But we have a racial hierarchy in this country, with blacks at the top (well, technically Jews are at the top, but that’s a secret).

It looks like here they saw the guy wasn’t black, so didn’t just let him off, but then people said “wait, he’s not white – we’re going too far. We’re giving a Mexican a white person type punishment.”

Mexicans are solidly in between blacks and Asians, with whites on the very bottom.

More than 20 states so far have outlawed abortion in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturn of Roe v. Wade, but rogue prosecutors may prevent many of these legal protections for preborn babies from taking effect.

On June 24, the Court ruled 5-4 in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that it was “time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.” By invalidating the 1973 precedent that forced all 50 states to allow most abortions, the ruling caused the activation of numerous pre-Roe abortion bans that had gone unenforced for decades, as well as more recent pro-life laws that had been blocked by courts, and “trigger laws” designed not to take effect until Roe was reversed.

Across the country, abortion giant Planned Parenthood has suspended abortions and/or closed locations in reaction to the ruling, and pro-life attorneys general have declared their intentions to enforce their states’ duly-enacted abortion prohibitions. But leftists occupying the offices tasked with carrying out such laws are threatening to do their part to keep abortions continuing.

Fair and Just Prosecution, a project of the left-wing nonprofit The Tides Center (which is financed by various left-wing foundations including George Soros Open Society Foundations and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), issued a statement signed by 90 state attorneys general and district attorneys declaring that they will “decline to use our offices’ resources to criminalize reproductive health decisions and commit to exercise our well-settled discretion and refrain from prosecuting those who seek, provide, or support abortions.”

“Enforcing abortion bans runs counter to the obligations and interests we are sworn to uphold,” the group claims. “It will erode trust in the legal system, hinder our ability to hold perpetrators accountable, take resources away from the enforcement of serious crime, and inevitably lead to the retraumatization and criminalization of victims of sexual violence.”

The signatories so far represent 29 states, one territory (the Northern Mariana Islands), and the nation’s capital of Washington, D.C. While some are purely symbolic, hailing from blue states where abortion will remain legal for the foreseeable future, 12 are in newly pro-life states where their refusal to enforce the law will have an impact.

The Washington Times adds that, on top of Soros’s support for Tides, at least 20 of the prosecutors have received campaign support from Soros. Electing local district attorneys to ensure left-wing outcomes at the grassroots level has been a priority of Soros’s for years.

While prosecutors have lawful discretion to determine where to most effectively focus their offices’ limited supplies of time, money, and manpower, it is much more controversial to use prosecutorial discretion as a justification to disregard an entire category of laws. But pro-lifers say the problem was not unexpected.

Yeah, they’ve been doing this with immigration law forever, but only in blue states.

I don’t know how red state prosecutors can maintain their positions while refusing to enforce laws, but I guess red states like Soros DAs as much as anyone, because they make life so much more exciting.

Faced with surging violent crime, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler is trying to rehire former officers. However, the vast majority of departed cops have reportedly shown no interest in coming back so far.

Only two of the 81 recently retired officers who were invited last month to rejoin the force have expressed interest in being rehired, the Oregonian newspaper reported earlier this week. Some not only declined to return but were reportedly offended by the offer.

At Wheeler’s direction, police chief Charles Lovell last month sent a letter to former officers – including many who took early retirement amid budget cuts and disputes over tactics used in dealing with nightly riots – inviting them to “be a part of rebuilding Portland.” He acknowledged that the officers left “at a time of great despair” and said the community is now demanding beefed-up policing.

Nearly 98% of the letter’s recipients were unmoved. Former officer Stephanie Hudson, who retired last May, called the offer “laughable” and said some of the exclusions for rehire eligibility were offensive. For instance, the letter said that any police who cooperated with federal law enforcement agencies to “attack Portland residents” when a US District Courthouse was under siege by rioters are disqualified.

“Your letter indicates that nothing has changed,” Hudson replied. “It simply highlights why those who could leave did leave. I suspect that it will take a decade or more to repair the damage that has been done.”

Wheeler said in October that he hoped to rehire 100 former officers, and Portland City Council later approved a budget for bringing back 25 retired police. However, nearly 100 of the department’s currently budgeted positions are still vacant, and staffing is at its lowest level in almost three decades.

The city saw 90 homicides in 2021, exceeding its previous record by 36%. Portland’s death toll exceeded those of larger cities such as San Francisco and Boston.

There was always going to be a backlash after the decision was made to just start mass firing cops in the wake of Saint Floyd’s fentanyl overdose.

But it was always going to be impossible to rehire them.

If you’re paying attention, you’ll notice that the Democrat Party is purposefully creating massive chaos and making the country more or less unlivable. The crime, the economy, the drugs, the virus hoax and all its angles.

The play, clearly, is to make life so bad that people will accept a completely new order of society in order to get some semblance of peace in their lives back.

Minnesota saw the highest number of murders on record in 2020, as well the most assaults against police officers in the line of duty ever recorded within a one-year period, according to the annual uniform crime report released by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension on Tuesday.

Just a few months into last year, the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S. brought economic uncertainty, which further escalated as Minneapolis became the tipping point for sometimes violent demonstrations calling to “defund the police” in reaction to viral bystander video showing former Officer Derek Chauvin pressing his knee to the back of George Floyd’s neck until the Black man died.

Reeling from the aftermath, Minnesota recorded a 16.6% increase in violent crimes in 2020. There were 185 murders in 2020 in Minnesota compared to 117 in 2019, an increase of 58.1%, the report says. The 2020 number also tops by two the 183 total from 1995, which previously had been the highest total. Also, 75% of the murders in 2020 were committed with a firearm, up from 69% in 2019.

There were 667 incidents last year involving an officer or officers assaulted in the line of duty. That represents a 62% increase over 2019, and more than any other year on record, the report says.

Bias crimes spiked the highest in 15 years, rising sharply in 2020 with 223 incidents reported. According to the bureau, 41% of the 2020 incidents were motivated by anti-Black or African American bias.

Rev. Jerry McAfee, a civil rights activist who organized community patrols in north Minneapolis in response to a series of shootings that left at least two children dead this year, said the numbers of assaults, rapes and other violent crime counted by the bureau may be underreported.

“When you have a police force operating 200 under, the distrust some of the people have with the police department, some good, some bad, and the overall level of trauma that exists within our community, it’s rough out here,” McAfee told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

After his 6-year-old granddaughter was killed by stray bullets earlier this year, local peace activist K.G. Wilson, who’s worked for decades helping to keep children out of gangs and guns off the streets, said he’s choosing to leave Minneapolis amid the record-breaking crime surge.

“I’m just done in Minneapolis. I don’t want to work here. I don’t want to be here,” Wilson told Fox 9 Minneapolis in an on-camera interview Tuesday. Despite his efforts, Wilson said, “All I feel like I got in return is a murdered 6-year-old granddaughter and no arrests, and it’s been two months later.”

This guy is a peace activist. He doesn’t appear to be very good at his job.

The bureau report says there were 31 officer-involved shooting incidents recorded in 2020, an increase of six over 2019, and almost evenly split between the Twin Cities metro and Greater Minnesota.

Out of the 45 use-of-force incidents reported by Minnesota agencies last year, 21 involved individuals who were White, 14 were Black, three were Asian, three were American Indian and five were unknown.

After a significant downward trend over the past several years, arson rose 53.7% over 2019. There were 710 arsons reported in 2020 and 462 in 2019. Motor vehicle theft rose 19.7% in 2020 with 13,662 vehicles stolen as compared to 11,410 in 2019. The 2020 total is the highest since 2005.

The value of property stolen in 2020 topped $216 million, a 54.5% increase over 2019. Some of the biggest increases were in the value of stolen food and grooming products, money and vehicles.

You know what the solution to this is, right?

We need fewer police.

Black people commit crimes because police make them nervous, and when they get nervous, they get violent.

The only thing that cops ever do is murder innocent blacks. They hate their skin tone.

If we reach zero police, we will reach utopia.
