Imagine if this had happened a hundred years ago.

Marvin Gibson-Jones.

How stupid can you be?

Blacks do this sort of thing all the time, yet gullible whites still fall for it over and over again.

It’s hard to even sympathize with the victims anymore.

Chicago Sun Times:

A Cook County judge denied bail for a man accused of fatally shooting a woman and wounding a man during a sale arranged over the internet in south suburban Lansing.

Marvin Gibson-Jones, 21, is charged with first-degree murder in the July 23 slaying of Lisa Marie York, according to Lansing police. At the Markham courthouse, Judge Kathleen Panozzo on Tuesday ordered him held without bail, according to county records.

Police said the shooting stemmed from an sale of an item listed on a social media site.

Gibson-Jones, of Calumet City, allegedly met York and another man about 6:05 p.m. in a parking lot of an auto shop at 2500 Bernice Rd. and fired multiple shots at them, police said.

York, 41, was struck in the head and pronounced dead at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Hammond, Indiana, police said. She lived in Hobart. The Cook County medical examiner’s office ruled her death a homicide.

The man was shot multiple times in the body and treated at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. He was later released.

Gibson-Jones’ criminal history in Cook County includes a 2018 weapons conviction. He was sentenced to five days of community service after being found guilty of carrying a weapon without a valid FOID card, according to county records.

He also had a warrant issued for him in 2019 for fleeing and alluding police, according to records. Most recently, Gibson-Jones was released on bond in June 2019 on charges of obstructing identification.

Gibson-Jones was scheduled to appear in court again on Aug. 16.

Aaron Montreal-Anthony Ross.

It turns out that the White Princess was selling drugs to the nog, not the other way around.

I feel like I should be surprised, but…

Lansing State Journal:

A double shooting that left a young woman dead and another woman injured last week in southwest Lansing resulted from a drug deal gone bad, police said.

Hanna Rose Barron, 19, and two other women went to a location in the Woodside Meadows housing complex to sell marijuana wax, Lansing Detective Matt Salmon testified Tuesday during a warrant hearing.

A man who met them there pulled a handgun and fired one shot, killing Barron and injuring one of her companions, Salmon said.

Police were able to identify the suspect, in part, through evidence found on a phone at the scene, Salmon testified.

Aaron Montreal-Anthony Ross, 20, of Lansing, was arrested Monday evening and arraigned Tuesday in Eaton County District Court on three felony counts, including murder and assault with intent to murder.

…

In a hearing that resulted in charges being issued against Ross, Salmon testified that a 19-year-old woman and a 37-year-old woman were with Barron in her vehicle when they met a man at a location in the housing development.

The man asked to see the drugs before pulling a handgun and firing one shot at Barron, Salmon testified. The bullet passed through Barron and a car seat before striking the 37-year-old woman in the leg, he said.

Sounds like an act of revenge to me.

I’m sure at least one of these girls knew the killer quite intimately, if you know what I mean.

Lansing State Journal:

A teenager was killed and another female wounded in a shooting Thursday afternoon at a southwest Lansing housing complex.

The incident happened about 3:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of Burneway Drive, inside the Woodside Meadows development, just north of Jolly Road.

Officers found three females, two of whom had been shot, Lansing police said in a news release. The two shooting victims were taken to a local hospital by Lansing Fire Department paramedics.

Hanna Barron, 19, of Lansing, was pronounced dead, police said. The other victim was in stable condition on Thursday night. Police did not release her name or age.

Police were searching for a black male in his late teens or early 20s, dressed in dark clothing. Police said he ran into a wooded area just south of the shooting scene. A K-9 team tried to track him but were unsuccessful, police said.

Ashley Marie Scott was killed out of spite by a drug-dealing Black thief, when the people she was with refused to hand over their money and weapons to him.

A deal to buy marijuana in Gary led to the shooting death of a 17-year-old Lansing, Illinois, girl, police said Friday.

Ashley Scott was shot and killed while she sat in a car with three other teens who went to Gary to buy pot Wednesday evening.

Ronald McMahan, 19, of 1750 Clark Road, is charged with murder, murder in perpetration of a robbery and three counts of attempted robbery. McMahan admitted to police he shot at — and into — the car, but claimed the driver, of Hammond, pointed a weapon at him first, the probable cause affidavit states.

Police recovered no other weapons during their investigation, however, sources said.

Scott was the passenger in a Pontiac Grand Prix when the four teens went to 15th Avenue and Burr Street to meet the person who would sell them the pot, court records state. After driving west a short distance to Clinton Street, they stopped and spoke to McMahan, who allegedly pointed a revolver at them and demanded cash and weapons.

Ronald McMahan has been charged with her murder, as well as murder in perpetration of a robbery and three counts of attempted robbery.
Ronald McMahan has been charged with her murder, as well as murder in perpetration of a robbery and three counts of attempted robbery.

The driver told Detectives Cpl. Edward Gonzalez and Daryl Gordon he sped away as McMahan fired at them, striking Scott in the neck. He drove west on 15th Avenue across Cline Avenue to the McDonald’s on 169th Street in Hammond where Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and his other passengers, both from Highland, cooperated with detectives in the investigation, the probable cause affidavit indicates.

Within hours of the shooting, police identified McMahan as the suspect and went to an apartment on Clark Road where he lives with his grandmother.

McMahan told Detective Lorenzo Davis he met the four teens to sell them marijuana but said “he produced his weapon as a result of being confronted with a weapon by the driver,” the affidavit states.

McMahan was arrested late Wednesday and is being held without bail at the Lake County Jail in Crown Point.

By the time they got to McDonalds, she had died in the back seat of the car.
