Not all heroes wear capes.

New York Post:

An alleged drunk driver unwittingly handed himself over to Nebraska police when he reported someone else traveling in the wrong direction.

As it turns out, he was the culprit.

Hilarious video shared by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Thursday captured the bizarre incident that unfolded in March.

The man told dispatchers that someone driving a truck “on the wrong side of” Highway 77 in Lancaster County nearly “ran him off the road.”

Though rattled by the close call, the drunk driver gave officers clear coordinates of where the collision nearly happened — and the perfect opportunity to hunt him down.

When a deputy pulled the man over just moments later, the driver immediately realized what he had done.

…

The driver was caught with a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit, prompting police to arrest him and put him in the back of the patrol car.

My entire personal belief system is summed up in this single act of defiance.

I have no respect for society, at all.

And I believe that society should be forced to conform to me – not the other way around.

Arthur Jeremiah Fisher III, left, and Akime Lee Truesdale

They were all in the same car together, but there’s no indication that the victim was kidnapped.

So what was he doing driving around with these blacks?

WSOCTV:

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of Logan Allen Stacks, age 17, of Fort Lawn, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said Friday morning.

Akime Lee Truesdale, of Lancaster, was arrested on March 31 and charged with accessory after the fact of a felony of murder.

Earlier in the week, Arthur Jeremiah Fisher III, 19, of Lancaster, was placed into custody and charged with murder and grand larceny.

Deputies said they found Stack’s body around 8:30 a.m. Sunday on a gravel road, just off Potter Road, near Kirk Air Base.

About 30 minutes later, a car was reported in a ditch off of Kershaw-Camden Highway. Deputies said it was the victim’s car.

Fisher, Truesdale and Stacks were together Saturday night into Sunday morning, officials said.

They were traveling in a 2001 Saturn sedan owned by Stacks’ father.

At about sunrise, Fisher drove the Saturn with Stacks and Truesdale as passengers onto Kirk Air Base Road.

Fisher stopped the car and the three got out.

Fisher fired a handgun killing Stacks, whose body was left on the side of the road.

Authorities said Fisher drove the Saturn toward Kershaw until it had mechanical problems and that’s when he drove the car into a ditch off the southbound lane of Kershaw-Camden Highway, north of Landmark Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Truesdale removed the car key, investigators said Friday in a news release.

After that, Fisher and Truesdale fled on foot before they caught a ride back to Lancaster that afternoon.

Authorities found Fisher at his home Sunday afternoon and he was taken into custody. On Tuesday, investigators caught up with Truesdale at his home.

Both are in the Lancaster County Detention Center.

A man who was on the run after allegedly killing his girlfriend in Lancaster County six months ago and stabbing his friend to death earlier this month in Ballantyne has been arrested, according to police.

Investigators said Derrick Allen McIlwain, 41, killed 45-year-old Alvin Fletcher on Nov. 1 after an altercation at a townhome along Paperback Circle, near Providence Road West and Lancaster Highway.

The two men were reportedly friends.

McIlwain was arrested Tuesday in Rock Hill. Officials said four different law enforcement agencies were involved in taking McIlwain into custody.

McIlwain was also wanted for the murder of his girlfriend, Kimberly Alger. She was found dead in May behind a vacant mobile home off Spirit Road in Lancaster County.

“She was the kind of person that saw the good in everybody,” said Kristen Deya, Alger’s sister.

Derrick Allen McIlwain and Kimberly Alger.

Good going, police.

Hunt down the one negro who did something that actually benefits society.

WBTV:

Deputies in Lancaster County are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted on a previous domestic assault charge on a woman who was found dead on Tuesday.

Derrick Allen McIlwain, 41, of Heath Springs, is wanted on a warrant for domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. Officials have not released many details about the incident, but warned citizens not to approach McIlwain if they see him, stating he should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

Investigators confirmed the victim of the domestic violence charge is 36-year-old Kimberly Alger, who was found dead near the back steps of a vacant home in Lancaster County Tuesday afternoon.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating Alger’s death as a homicide – but the department did could not confirm that McIlwain’s charges are in any way connected to the killing.
