A Colorado Christian school can continue to participate in the state’s universal preschool program without fear of reprisal, following a favorable federal court ruling on Saturday.

Darren Patterson Christian Academy won a preliminary injunction that will prevent state officials from taking action against it because of its religious beliefs and its support for the moral truth and biological fact that there are only two sexes.

The new statewide program funds early education for the school of a parent’s choosing across the state. The case continues in the federal court system.

Officials “raised concerns” that the school’s policies would violate Colorado’s “non-discrimination requirements,” according to the judge’s summary. But officials refused to grant a religious exemption beyond telling the preschool it was allowed to keep its school closed outside of its congregation. That would harm local Christians who are not part of the congregation – the academy is the only Christian preschool in the county.

The school requires “[a]ll employees” to “be a ‘born-again Christian’ and adhere to certain lifestyle requirements, including abstinence from sexual activity outside of the context of a marriage between a man and a woman,” District Court Judge Daniel Domenico wrote in his ruling.

The school also rejects gender ideology: it requires students to use sex-separated bathrooms based on their actual sex and it forbids “pronouns that do not correspond to a student’s or employee’s biological sex.”

The state is currently writing the final regulations, but in the interim is relying on rules from the Department of Human Services. However, officials “never provided a clear answer on whether they view Plaintiff’s policies as currently violating the statutory or contractual anti-discrimination provisions, even though they were given ample opportunity in briefing, declarations, and at the hearing,” Judge Domenico wrote.

However, he noted that Democrat Governor Jared Polis made several statements critical of the preschool and religious liberty, indicating future action could be taken against the academy.

A kindergarten in southwestern China has been ordered to give up its vegetarian diet for children after it aroused national controversy that it could lead to nutritional deficiency.

The kindergarten, named Deyin School in Chengdu city, has broken national and local regulations on meals for preschool children by deliberately avoiding animal-based foods, said the local education bureau over the weekend.

The school provided milk and eggs but no other animal-derived foods such as meat and fish which is against the government’s nutrition guidelines for schools, the bureau said in a statement on Weibo.

It has been ordered to improve its eating plan and to make it more balanced, according to the statement.

The intervention by the bureau came after the kindergarten, where 49 children are enrolled, received fierce criticism for promoting a vegetarian diet for students and linking it to Confucianism.

The post that generated the controversy on WeChat entitled “Great. There’s Such a Complete Vegetarian Kindergarten in Chengdu”, went viral last week.

The post appeared on an account promoting vegetarianism, but was later deleted.

Many critics expressed concerns about whether the children would obtain essential nutrients, while some pointed out that Confucius had never encouraged people to avoid meat.

“To feed children plant-based foods only is maltreating,” one person said on Weibo.

Deyin School has declined requests for comment from the Post.

Despite the worldwide growth in popularity of vegetarian and vegan diets, many in China remain skeptical that they can provide a healthy and balanced diet.

Zhou Wenwen, an associate professor in food science from Zhejiang University, said studies around the world have proved that depending solely on food derived from plants can lead to malnutrition.

A veteran elementary school teacher has been accused of severely mistreating one of her students by making him eat his own feces in Texas.

Mamie Robson Aplon, 67, a kindergarten teacher at Few Primary School in Jasper, was arrested after being indicted on a misdemeanor charge of ‘official suppression’ last week.

Prosecutors say Aplon subjected the child – whose age is not known – to significant mistreatment on September 25, causing him to ‘eat his own feces’.

In a statement, Jasper Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Steve Hyden said the allegations were reported on the same day as the alleged incident and Aplon was placed on immediate leave.

‘The district has cooperated fully during the investigation of this matter and will continue to do so,’ Hyden continued to 12 News.

‘As this is a sensitive student and personnel matter, the district cannot provide further details about the incident. However, the issue of the safety and well-being of Jasper students is out top priority.’

Aplon was indicted by a Jasper County grand jury on October 31.

The indictment says Aplon intentionally subjected the victim, identified as ‘E.J.’, to mistreatment that she ‘knew was unlawful, namely causing E.J. to eat his own feces,’ while she was ‘acting under the color of her employment as an educator.’

Aplon, the daughter of former Jasper Mayor R.C Horn, was arraigned by County Judge Mark Allen on Friday and her bond was set at $10,000.

Meanwhile, teachers apparently make similar mistakes when they refer to “same-gender signs of affection or homosocial behaviors as friendly” as opposed to romantic, with Gansen arguing that the teacher’s interpretation of the friendship makes no concession for the fact that some students might be gay or queer.

An asylum seeker diagnosed with tuberculosis who visited a kindergarten several times in Bünsdorf, Germany, may have infected as many as 18 children and four adults with the disease.

The migrant, originally from Yemen, spent five months from January to May in the community, meeting families and spending time at a local kindergarten. Brought to Bünsdorf by the local church, the man is said to have had an infectious case of tuberculosis and children aged three to six may be affected, leaving parents outraged, Eckernförderung Zeitung reports. 

The man was given asylum in a church hall in the town and the kindergarten is located next door. In June, the man showed signs of the disease and an investigation was carried out to find if children and staff had been infected.

Why stop at housing the retarded sub-human, when you could also let it loose around children? What kind of racist would think that’s a bad idea?

Christin Hettich from the Health Office held an information hearing earlier this week when it was found the bacterial form of tuberculosis diagnosed in the Yemeni man was highly contagious.

“Tuberculosis is a disaster for the sick and the community,” said local pastor Thies Feldmann. The pastor said it was not unusual the Yemeni had access to the kindergarten and youth groups in the church

Late last year in a migrant camp in Bulgaria, 128 migrants in a camp of 3,000 were diagnosed with various serious illnesses, including smallpox, forcing the camp to keep migrants from leaving the facility. The situation inflamed the already tense atmosphere at the camp which led to a large-scale riot involving hundreds of migrant men.

Amongst Syrians fleeing the civil war, an even more horrific flesh-eating disease spread amongst the migrant camps bordering the country. The disease, known as leishmaniasis, is said to affect hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children in the region.

The flood of diseases has only just begun, and given how our own governments and (((media))) are intentionally trying to exterminate us, I imagine it’s already much worse than we think.
