Jean-Claude Juncker will hold a behind closed doors meeting with George Soros at which the pair will discuss legal action against the Hungarian government, EU officials announced today.

The EU Commission chief will host the billionaire financier in Brussels as part of eurocrats’ preparations to take Budapest to court over a number of alleged breaches of EU law.

Brussels has been enraged by the actions of firebrand prime minister Viktor Orban, who has passed a new law in an attempt to close a university backed by Mr Soros.

The Hungarian PM has cast the institution as an ‘enemy within’ and says it is being used by the billionaire to push a liberal pro-EU agenda against his right-wing government.

But EU officials have insisted his new legal crackdown, which would require foreign-accredited universities to have a campus in their home country, is illegal under Brussels rules.

The Central European University, set up by Mr Soros in 1991, is technically registered in America but operates exclusively in Eastern Europe, meaning it would fall foul of the new change.

Earlier this month the EU’s College of Commissioners met to discuss the situation in Hungary and agreed to take forward a number of legal proceedings against Budapest.

EU officials are now set to conduct a “swift” legal assessment of the Higher Education Act, so that it can “decide on next steps in the next infringement cycle”.

Other causes for concern are Hungary’s treatment of migrants and refugees, and its policy of placing them in camps at its border, and a new consultation launched by Mr Orban called “Let’s stop Brussels!”.

In a statement, EU Commission officials said: “Recent developments in Hungary which have widely raised concerns about compatibility with EU law and the common values on which the Union is based.

“Taken cumulatively, the overall situation in Hungary is a cause of concern for the Commission.”

Mr Soros will travel to Brussels next Thursday when he will hold meetings with a number of high ranking officials, including Mr Juncker and Commission first vice-president Frans Timmermans.

A Commission spokeswoman refused to be drawn on the exact agenda of the trip but said EU officials would discuss “political developments” with the billionaire.

She also mentioned the College of Commissioners’ findings and said Mr Soros and Mr Juncker “will have the opportunity to discuss this”.

However, she did not say whether or not the pair would answer questions from journalists after or whether the Commission would issue a statement outlining the main points from the meeting.

Presumably, talk of the university situation is just a cover for talks about a larger agenda to Jew over Hungary.

We saw with the pro-Soros protests in relation to the university that Soros is massing an army of confused young goyim which could be used to launch some type of “Hungarian Spring” against the largely uncooperative Orban.

This is definitely a situation to watch.

I think after Thusday’s meeting, we’re going to see some serious popping-off in Hungary.

My position is and has always been that Eastern European countries who don’t want to go along with the gay sex/Islamism agenda of the EU have but one choice, and that is to come home and hang a new set of curtains.

Junker is having more and more difficulty impersonating a human being. Brood mother Merkel will soon hatch a replacement for him.

Probably furious at Juncker for spilling the beans on the whole “space aliens” thing, Merkel is apparently intent on holocausting him soon. Well, it could also be because he’s a bumbling idiot and partially responsible for Brexit.

The fuming German chancellor is planning to wield the axe on the bungling bureaucrat, who is facing calls from across the continent to resign.

Senior ministers in Berlin have been dismayed by Mr Juncker’s confrontational approach to Britain over the last fortnight and now believe he is “part of the problem”.

Mrs Merkel is said to be particularly perturbed by the unpopular Commission president using the Brexit result to “gloat” and push for further EU integration.

Crowing interviews he has given trying to marginalise and provoke Britain have proved the final straw, and she has now decided to sack him within the next year.

And Mrs Merkel, who is under intense pressure from industry chiefs to secure a free trade deal with Britain, has come to the conclusion that his poisonous presence could torpedo upcoming exit talks. 

Ah, here we have a glimpse of the reality behind the scenes. Of course, it’s the intention of the (((internationalists))) to punish Britain and attempt to ruin it’s economy as both a punishment and a warning to others who’d be tempted to follow her.

But the thing is that these sanctions would be a two way street, and businessmen – who don’t care about politics – are having none of that. And while Juncker doesn’t need electoral financing (because his position is appointed by the parliament), Angela Merkel does, and is thus beholden to corporate and financial interests.

This means there is actually a strong possibility that Britain will be able to negotiate a very beneficial trade deal, and bounce back from it’s current troubles quickly.

This also means the EU will likely loose more members and thus disintegrate.
