White Muslims look so daft walking around in their pyjamas. Jordan Horner is one of the group of Sunnis facing jail for attacking the Shiites.

Radical Sunni Muslims are facing jail for attacking a group of Shi’ites in what is believed to be the first case of Muslim sectarian violence on the streets of Britain.

Violence broke out on London’s Edgware Road, a well-known Shia area, on May 10 last year during a protest organised by radical preacher Anjem Choudary calling for jihad in Syria.

Two men were beaten to the ground with placards and wooden sticks. One was so badly injured he had blood streaming down his face after being kicked in the head as he lay helpless on the floor.

Ginger-haired Jordan Horner, 20, part of the Sunni sect, attacked a man after calling him a ‘kaffir’, or non-believer.

Other members of the Sunni group including Mohammed Almagir, 34, Mirza Ali, 38, Mohad Uddin, 36, and Kamran Khan, 29, also joined in.

Mohan Uddin was convicted of violent disorder.

Alex Chalk, prosecuting, told the Old Bailey that the group were shouting ‘Shias are kaffirs. They are the enemy within. They are evil’ as they carried out the attack.

He said: ‘This is a case about sectarian violence in west London.

‘On Friday May 10, 2013, these defendants attended an unauthorised anti-Shia march advertised on Twitter.

‘The protestors, several of whom were carrying banners bearing inflammatory anti-Shia slogans, passed along Edgware Road – an area well known for its established Shia community.

‘They were carrying placards calling for jihad in Syria and were publicising their intention to march to the Syrian Embassy.

‘Shortly after the marchers turned around at the Marble Arch end and retraced their steps northwards, violence broke out.

‘Two men were assaulted with fists and flagpoles. One was beaten on the ground, and the other, Fahad Fahad, was left with blood streaming from a wound to his head.’

The violence broke out while Anjem Choudhary was being interviewed on camera by a journalist.

The court heard a group of up to 50 protestors congregated outside London Central Mosque after the conclusion of Friday prayers at 2pm.

That afternoon Mohammed El-Hariri, a Shia Muslim who has run a business in the area for 12 years, was walking along Edgware Road on his way to meet his friend, Fahad Fahad.

He noticed a large group dressed in Islamic salaffi dress.

Jordan Horner, also known as Jalaal Uddin, seen here in Leyton, London, in 2007
Jordan Horner, ludicrous looking Muslim convert also known as Jalaal Uddin, has been given an ASBO for threatening Non-Muslims.

Three Islamic converts who were jailed for threatening non-believers in self-styled Muslim Patrol vigilante attacks were today banned from promoting Sharia Law in Britain.

Converts Jordan Horner, 20, Ricardo McFarlane, 26, and Royal Barnes, 23, have been handed Antisocial Behavioural Orders (Asbos) which forbid them from forcing their views on others.

They have also been forbidden from meeting hate cleric Anjem Choudary.

Judge Timothy Pontius admitted the order was “drastic” but at the Old Bailey added: “With the public interest in mind and the safety of individual members of the public in particular, it seems to me essential that these orders should be granted to run for that period of time.”

The gang had targeted young couples holding hands, people drinking alcohol and women who they deemed to dress “inappropriately” in a month of “religious vigilantism” between December 2012 and January 2013.

The Asbos issued today bar them from distributing material or accosting members of the public and causing them “harassment, alarm or distress”.

They were also forbidden from associating with each other and radical clerics Anjem Choudary and Dean Le Page, both leading members of banned group al-Muhajiroun, later known as Muslims Against Crusades, unless in peaceful worship in a mosque.

Horner was also barred from being in possession of a megaphone which he had previously used to shout abuse at non Muslims.

The Asbos will last five years but the converts could be recalled to jail if they breach them.

The terms of the ASBOs mean Muslim Patrol members are banned from meeting with MI6 operative Anjem Choudary.

The trio were jailed after roaming the streets in so-called “Muslim areas” of east London on a mission to impose Sharia Law.

During one incident a man was knocked unconscious after being punched by Horner for boozing on the street in Shoreditch.

He also threatened to “shank” (stab) the man’s friends.

Another friend was apparently left “covered in blood” after being attacked by the converts.

The gang also shouted through a megaphone at Joshua Bilton and his girlfriend Anna Reddiford for holding hands in nearby Bethnal Green yelling: “Let go. This is a Muslim area!”

In another incident the gang, who patrolled the streets in a silver Ford Focus, threatened two doctors in Whitechapel, east London.
