JK Rowling created what is arguably the most beloved stories of an entire generation (I can’t think of anything that competes, for millennials).

A play that criticises JK Rowling’s views on gender is struggling to cast women with 90 actresses so far rejecting parts.

The stage production, which is set to debut at the Edinburgh Fringe, has already caused outrage over a working title which labelled the gender-critical Harry Potter author a c—-.

The word they’re censoring is “cunt.”

The production is yet to cast any of the female roles, including that of Rowling herself.

The part of Harry Potter film star Emma Watson has also been repeatedly turned down, and around 90 actresses have refused to take part in the project amid concerns over its critique of Rowling.

The author has become a figure of hate online among some activists, and received death threats after publicly sharing concerns about the encroachment of transgender campaigning on women’s rights.

Actors have been found for male leads, who will portray Harry Potter cast members Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe.

Creative producer Barry Church-Woods told the Telegraph: “This project has met some kind of resistance every step of the way, though I’ve been generally surprised by how difficult it has been for us to recruit the female cast in particular.

He added: “I think it’s fair to say that a few things are coming into play in casting.”

The play, which was written by queer-identifying Hollywood scriptwriter Joshua Kaplan, tells the story of a fictional intervention staged for Rowling by the stars of the Harry Potter franchise, Watson, Grint and Radcliffe.

The three actors publicly denounced Rowling in 2020 when she first raised concerns about the spread of gender ideology, the belief that gender is unfixed and changes according to how people self-identify.

The work was initially titled TERF C***, with TERF standing for trans-exclusionary radical feminist, a term which has been deployed pejoratively against women who have opposed trans ideology.

It is understood that 30 actresses have turned down the role of Rowling in the play, and 60 have refused the part of Watson, while agencies representing aspiring female stars have been nervous to put their clients forward for the project.

Some of these things that we are against – gun control, taxes, wars, communism – are popular with the public.

Trannies are not actually popular with the public.

People will say they love trannies, because if you don’t say that your entire life with be destroyed (unless you have a billion dollars like Rowling). But the actual number of people who legitimately love trannies is very low.

Even liberals think this thing is very gross. Especially now that they’ve interacted with real trannies.

Elon Musk has asked J.K. Rowling to stop posting her views about transgenderism on X, suggesting the “Harry Potter” author instead focus on creating “interesting and positive” content on the social platform he owns.

J.K. Rowling will not face any action under Scotland’s new hate crime law after she challenged it by asserting on social media that a number of transgender women were men, police said on Tuesday.

The Harry Potter author, a prominent gender critical campaigner, made the comments on Monday, the day that the crime of “stirring up hatred” relating to age, disability, religion, sexual orientation and transgender identity came into effect.

She was backed by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who said people should not be criminalised for saying “common sense” things about biological sex.

Police Scotland said it had received complaints in relation to Rowling’s social media post.

“The comments are not assessed to be criminal and no further action will be taken,” a spokesperson said.
Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf had said the bill was about “protecting people from a rising tide of hatred”.

“Unless your behaviour is threatening or abusive and intends to stir up hatred, then you have nothing to worry about in terms of the new offences being created,” he said.

If she was anyone else, she’d be in prison.

Women are not protected as a group, but the Scottish National Party-led government in Edinburgh is looking at separate reforms to target misogyny.

Scotland has been at the forefront of extending rights to the transgender community but a previous attempt to make it easier to change a legal gender was blocked by London over concerns it would impinge existing equality legislation.

The new hate crime law has also faced criticism over its impact on freedom of speech and concerns that it could be used to silence some views, including from those who advocate for women-only spaces.

Rowling tested the law by listing 10 trans women, including a convicted rapist, sex abusers and high profile activists, on X and saying they were men.

The recently launch of Hogwarts Legacy, the latest video game based on the popular Harry Potter franchise, had been met with a lot of controversy.

The controversy behind the game is mainly due to original creator J.K Rowling’s personal politics mostly focused on transgender issues.

This hasn’t stopped the game from being a major success financially as it beat out Fallout 4’s active player count on Steam before it even officially launched. It’s all-time peak of nearly 900,000 also puts it just behind Cyberpunk 2077 as second among largest single player launches for Steam.

Hogwarts Legacy still has not shaken off the ire it has gained from some gamers, though. Popular speedrunning charity Games Done Quick has now banned it and the rest of the Harry Potter video games from being used as submissions for becoming one of the runners for their events.

Their list of disallowed games is for those that “have content, views, or an origin that [they] have deemed unsuitable for [their] stream”. This includes other titles such as the Five Nights at Freddy’s series and God of War (2005).

In Harry Potter’s case, this is most certainly in regards to the views of J.K Rowling. Though curiously, this appears to be a recent change despite her views being well known for years at this point. This means the recent controversy behind Hogwarts Legacy likely had an impact on this change.

This isn’t the first time that Games Done Quick has made decisions due to politics. They canceled what would’ve been an in-person event for GDQ 2023 due to policies by Florida over school policies.

I’ve heard a lot of bad things about this speed-running group.

I guess it used to be really fun, and the trannies came in and just total dominated.

This new Harry Potter game actually has a tranny.

If only they had banned it for the right reasons…

I actually refused to buy it for that reason.

The Harry Potter game is doing very well, despite calls from trannies to boycott it.

SteamDB, which tracks concurrent players on the PC platform Steam, recorded 783,277 players on Hogwarts legacy as of 1 p.m. Saturday, marking the second-largest player count ever recorded in a 24-hour span.

The game trails only PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, which ranks first all-time with a 24-hour peak of 1,320,219.

Hogwarts Legacy’s total marks the eighth-largest peak on Steam of all-time and is the third-ranked single-player game, trailing Elden Ring (953,426) and Cyberpunk 2077 (1,295,114)

It’s great to see.

We can’t really know how many people love trannies because everyone is supposed to lie about it. This is a good indicator that people will not sacrifice their own entertainment because trannies demand it of them.

Hopefully, we end up seeing something similar with Atomic Heart, which trannies are also saying should be boycotted because it is Russian.

Personally, I am not a Harry Potter fan. I also don’t really have time to spend playing these open world games. (Typically, I only play games that I can play while listening to podcasts or university lectures in the background.) I thought about buying this to show support for JK Rowling’s brutal war against the tranny scum, but decided I don’t really have $60 to spend. Or rather, I only have $60 to spend, and I’d rather get Atomic Heart.

In fact, I might stream it.

I have to check on Paul Town’s monero-based superchat system. It seems like I have some options for a streaming platform now, especially if I don’t get political.

Atomic Heart comes out in a week. If I’m going to stream it, I will announce it here. It won’t appeal to all readers, of course. It would just be a standard gaming stream. But it could be fun. I should at least see if there is a market for it.

There is a new open world Harry Potter game coming out in a few days. It looks so-so for people not fans of that universe. If you’re a fan, I’m sure it’s quite exciting.

I was considering buying it because JK Rowling gets money and there is a movement to try to boycott it. I feel very strongly that entertainment is one of the single most important parts of the culture war, so we should support movies/music/games that are against trannies or whatever.

However, my interest in the game was low, and I lost all interest when it turned out there is a gay character.

The Harry Potter universe has seen the addition of a transgender character, a gaming news website reported on Monday. GameRevolution has said a non-player character named Sirona Ryan, a trans witch, will appear in the soon-to-be-released ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ video game.

The article states this will be the first time such a character has been included in the Wizarding World, a fantasy media franchise based on the Harry Potter novels by JK Rowling.

GameRevolution states that in the game Ryan runs the Three Broomsticks pub and that the player has to interact with her in a mission involving the goblin Lodgok.

At one point during the dialogue, the witch allegedly said that the goblin had recognized her “instantly” a few months ago despite not having seen her for a long time.

“Which is more than I can say for some of my own classmates. Took them a second to realize I was actually a witch, not a wizard,” Ryan went on to add, as quoted in the article.

The game, which is set in the 19th-century, is due to be released this Friday.

This is gross, but I guess it’s good they made it look like a man. Trannies try to believe they look like women, and when they make their own tranny characters in video games, they always make them cute. (Trannies eventually figure out they don’t look like women at all, they are just disgusting freaks, and that is one of the reasons they kill themselves.)

That was the cope from people excited about this game – “they purposefully made the tranny character not passable to humiliate them.”

Maybe, but still.

It’s really and truly hateful that these people know Harry Potter’s creator is anti-tranny and they shove one in a game based on her art. She is getting money from the game, but she doesn’t have any creative control, so they were able to do this to spite her.

Conveniently, this means that anti-tranny people are going to be much less likely to buy the game. So if the sales are bad, they can say “oh it was transphobes that didn’t like it.” If the sales are good, they can say “see, people support games with trannies.” They basically gave themselves total political immunity from terrible sales. (Although, to be fair, right-wingers can do the same thing and either say “see, people support Rowling’s anti-tranny views” or “see, people don’t want a tranny game.”)

It will be interesting to see how it sell. I watch some of the right-wing cultural critics on YouTube (and now Rumble). I watched a stream from Nerdrotic on Rumble over the weekend that had a panel of like 15 people, and they were generally positive about the game – but that was before this clip of the tranny character appeared. This is definitely going to cause sales to drop among right-wingers, but who knows how much it will boost sales among tranny-lovers.

Furthermore, having a tranny like this in a huge mainstream AAA video game release is new. Some of the characters in Valorant might be trannies I guess, it’s definitely a tranny game, but to inject a tranny in a story game that is intended to be the biggest seller of the year is new.

A 23-year-old individual in Toronto, Canada, has been hard at work “removing” J.K. Rowling’s name from used “Harry Potter” books and replacing not just the book covers with his own custom covers — but removing her name from the copyright pages and titles pages as well, according to SWNS reporting.

The individual has completed at least 30 newly “re-bound books” — offering them for sale in their newly bound form.

Artist Laur Flom, who runs a website in Canada, apparently started the project to “help out” any “Harry Potter” fans who find they have ethical issues with the author while reading her bestselling books.

Flom began the work a year ago, saying his motivation was the allegations of transphobia that were made against the British author, according to SWNS.

Rowling faced backlash a few years ago for comments that were considered by some to be controversial about the transgender community.

Laur Flom told SWNS, “The project is spurred by her transphobia … I was [a fan]. Growing up when I did, it was a given that you would read ‘Harry Potter.’”

Flom added, however, that “after J.K Rowling’s views on people like me came out, it left a bad taste in my mouth.”

He added, “It raised questions about the ethics of consuming her work.”

‘Creating a safe space’Flom said that “the purpose of this project is to create a safe space for fans to find comfort in the books and critically engage with J.K Rowling’s work.”

In order to “recreate” the books, Flom — who also reportedly works as a bartender — seeks out secondhand copies of the “Harry Potter” books.

Flom then removes the covers and the copyright pages of the books — and replaces them with his own uniquely created versions, SWNS reported.

Each book apparently takes around 12 hours for Flom to re-bind — not including the time it takes for him to package the books and send them off to buyers.

Flom reportedly sells each newly bound book for about $170. For a set of seven, he charges roughly $1,200.

A portion of each sale is donated to charities that serve the transgender community, according to SWNS.

The book work has not occurred without controversy.

Flom told SWNS, “[The reactions are] mostly good. The majority of my comments are positive — my last video reached a strange part of TikTok and reactions were mixed, but mostly good.”

Flom added, “I would hope that the impact of my project is just to bring light to [Rowling’s] transphobia and to make people aware of the things she has said … I get so many comments just asking what she had done.”

He also said, “Just the fact that people have been interested makes me think that it’s been successful.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Flom for comment.

On his website, Flom describes himself as “a printmaker, book artist and Taylor Swift fan based in Toronto, Ontario.”

He also says, “My practice is largely conceptual, exploring themes surrounding identity, memory and trans masculinity. I also occasionally rebind Harry Potter books.”

He says on the site as well, “Send in your personal copies to be rebound, restored and de-Rowlinged.”

As others have noted, this is obviously illegal.

Trannies of course are not creative people, so they can only leech off of creative people. There should be some kind of reflection on the fact that her “creation” is mutilating a book, just like her other creation was mutilating God’s work.

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has launched a women-only sexual violence support service in Edinburgh in the wake of growing concerns that women are self-excluding from other current services.

Beira’s Place – pronounced Byra and named after the Scottish goddess of winter – will provide what Rowling claims is an “unmet need for women in the Lothians area”.

It is not known how much the service will cost, but it is being solely funded by Rowling who has been acclaimed for her philanthropy.

She said: “As a survivor of sexual assault myself, I know how important it is that survivors have the option of women-centred and women-delivered care at such a vulnerable time. Beira’s Place will offer an increase in capacity for services in the area and will, I hope, enable more women to process and recover from their trauma.”

Does anyone know any woman who isn’t a “survivor of sexual assault?”

The move comes as MSPs were told in a consultation on planned reforms to the Gender Recognition Act, that moves to introduce self-identification of gender had led to previous women-only services now offering support, space and jobs to transwomen, despite the Equality Act of 2010 stating such services could exclude transwomen.

As a result, women survivors of rape and sexual abuse said they felt they could no longer rely on Edinburgh’s Rape Crisis Centre, which is now managed by a transwoman, or women’s aid refuges, to be female only.

The new chief executive of Beira’s Place, which is not being set up as a charity, is Isabelle Kerr MBE, who previously ran Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis.

She said: “Violence against women and girls is an issue that crosses all cultures, classes, and religions. These are gendered crimes that are overwhelmingly perpetrated by men and disproportionately experienced by women.

“Beira’s Place recognises that effective sexual violence services must be independent, needs-led, and provide responsive, women-centred services so that they are free from the pressure of current political agendas.

“We are committed to ensuring that our service is free, confidential, and accessible to women survivors who may need it.”

The new service comes six months after it was reported there had been an increase in rape and sexual assaults against women in Scotland. Police Scotland figures show that between 2018/19 and 2021/22, instances of rape against women have increased by 25 per cent.

The whole concept of a “sex assault center” is just feminist nonsense.

Rape isn’t really even real.

I guess it is due to immigration invasion, but who supports that? The same women whining about the rape boogieman.

“It’s just a woman saying, ‘I’m a woman and I feel I’m a woman and I want to be able to say that I’m a woman,” the actor stated, noting that he understands where the author is coming from, even if he himself is not a woman.

Rowling, a self-proclaimed feminist, found herself at the center of the transgender debate two years ago after she published an essay criticizing gender ideology and voicing concerns that biological men were invading female-only spaces. In response, the author was accused of being a “fascist” and “transphobic.” 

While most of the cast members who worked on the Harry Potter films have since joined in the condemnation of Rowling, Fiennes is one of the few who have defended the author. In March 2021, the actor told The Telegraph that he “can’t understand the vitriol directed at her,” and that he considers “this age of accusation and the need to condemn irrational.”

“I find the level of hatred that people express about views that differ from theirs, and the violence of language towards others, disturbing,” Fiennes said.

He’s not really denouncing trannies, technically, but that is obviously how it is going to be taken and it is certain that he knows it will be taken that way.

The trannies, of course, are losing it.

Rolling Stone – which is now basically HuffPo – said that abuse is “being upset” at “dangerous rhetoric.”

Nicola Sturgeon has denied she is a “destroyer of women’s rights” after author JK Rowling wore a T-shirt bearing the accusation.

The First Minister described herself as a “passionate feminist”, when asked about the attack during a media round on Friday.

Rowling, who has been outspoken in her views on gender issues, shared a photo of herself wearing the garment in support of a protest outside Holyrood on Thursday against the reform of the Gender Recognition Act.

The contrast is even more pronounced when you realize Rowling is actually older than Sturgeon

The Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill, which is currently making its way through Holyrood, would drop the need for a medical diagnosis of gender dysphoria.

It would also reduce the time a person would be required to live in their acquired gender from two years to three months – though there would be a three-month “reflection period”.

A majority of MSPs on the Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee of the Scottish Parliament voiced their support for the general principles of the Bill in a report released on Thursday, with the first vote on the legislation due for the end of this week.

The Harry Potter author showed her support on Twitter for the more-than 100 strong protest outside Holyrood, which featured speakers including former Scottish Labour leader Johann Lamont.

Alongside the photo, she wrote: “I stand in solidarity with @ForWomenScot and all women protesting and speaking outside the Scottish Parliament. #NoToSelfID.”

Speaking on the BBC’s Today programme ahead of the SNP conference in Aberdeen, the First Minister was asked if she is a destroyer of women’s rights.

I don’t even think that tranny supporters can seriously claim that trannies are something other than “predatory men.”

It reminds us that when it comes to these bizarre Jewish agendas, no one supports it other than randos on Twitter. These agendas are enforced by the government and media, so no one can question any of it.

Aside from abortion, I can’t really think of any aspect of this agenda that has real-world popular support – even among women.
