Elon Musk has asked J.K. Rowling to stop posting her views about transgenderism on X, suggesting the “Harry Potter” author instead focus on creating “interesting and positive” content on the social platform he owns.

“While I heartily agree with your points regarding sex/gender, may I suggest also posting interesting and positive content on other matters?” the billionaire, 52, wrote on X on Saturday in response to a nearly month-old post by fellow billionaire Rowling in which she offered up her definition of a woman.

Rowling, 58, has long been vilified by trans rights activists for her views on sex and gender, which she frequently shares on the platform, placing herself on the receiving end of both boycotts and death threats over the years.

But the world-famous author has steadfastly stood her ground, frequently sparring with detractors on the platform who have labeled her a “TERF,” or trans-exclusionary radical feminist, and even trolling activists over their use of gender-neutral language, which Rowling says she believes constitutes erasure of biological women.

Musk’s ask is particularly puzzling given the multi-billionaire’s own history of questionable tweets about trans-related issues.

It is hilarious that trannies are the only thing Rowling talks about.

But it’s like: no one else with any sort of power is talking about it.

She feels strongly about the issue, sees that no one else is talking about it, and feels like she has to.

Police Scotland has been overwhelmed by a flood of reports under the recently implemented draconian speech restrictions, with approximately 8,000 reports in the first week, alone, surpassing the annual total for hate crimes in general of any other year.

Law enforcement in Scotland has claimed that it “can’t cope” with the staggering number of reports flooding into police stations after the controversial Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act 2021 came into force last Monday, criminalising the opaquely-worded “stirring up hatred” towards protected groups, such as the so-called LGBTQ2AIS community, among others.

Who would want to stir up hatred against those faggots?

The chairman of the Scottish Police Federation David Threadgold warned that the man-power hours required to deal with such a large number of complaints will impact the police force’s ability to deal with actual crimes, with the force already failing to solve a growing number of crimes like sexual assault, shoplifting, and car theft. Scotland has also been plagued by a drug epidemic, with the small nation having the highest drug-related deaths per capita in all of Europe.

Better a junkie car thief than a hate-stirrer.

“Police Scotland have gone public and said that on every occasion, reports of hate crime will be investigated,” he said, explaining: “That creates a situation where we simply cannot cope at the moment. Officers have been brought back in to do overtime shifts and the management of that is simply unsustainable.”

Threadgold went on to suggest that the law was being “weaponised” by the public in order to settle personal grudges against fellow citizens or to wage political feuds, while suggesting that the government encouraging the public to report instances of “hate” has clearly blown up in their face.

Yeah, that happened under 20th century communism.

If you encourage people to snitch on other people for things they said in private, basically everyone will just start reporting their enemies.

The police have also already faced accusations of hypocrisy in the handling of hate speech reports. On Sunday, the Daily Mail reported that a relative of a Scottish National Party (SNP) government minister had avoided a criminal investigation under the law over a post on social media mashing up the Nazi swastika and the Jewish Star of David with the caption “Nazism = Zionism”.

According to the paper, the woman who reported the post to the police — a former police officer, herself — was told that the complaint would not be pursued because she was not Jewish.

Police Scotland have also been accused of bias after they refused to log so-called non-hate crime incidents against Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf — despite receiving numerous reports against the pair — while previously logging a non-hate crime incident against Tory MSP Murdo Fraser for comparing people claiming to be “non-binary” to people who identify as cats.

J.K. Rowling will not face any action under Scotland’s new hate crime law after she challenged it by asserting on social media that a number of transgender women were men, police said on Tuesday.

The Harry Potter author, a prominent gender critical campaigner, made the comments on Monday, the day that the crime of “stirring up hatred” relating to age, disability, religion, sexual orientation and transgender identity came into effect.

She was backed by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who said people should not be criminalised for saying “common sense” things about biological sex.

Police Scotland said it had received complaints in relation to Rowling’s social media post.

“The comments are not assessed to be criminal and no further action will be taken,” a spokesperson said.
Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf had said the bill was about “protecting people from a rising tide of hatred”.

“Unless your behaviour is threatening or abusive and intends to stir up hatred, then you have nothing to worry about in terms of the new offences being created,” he said.

If she was anyone else, she’d be in prison.

Women are not protected as a group, but the Scottish National Party-led government in Edinburgh is looking at separate reforms to target misogyny.

Scotland has been at the forefront of extending rights to the transgender community but a previous attempt to make it easier to change a legal gender was blocked by London over concerns it would impinge existing equality legislation.

The new hate crime law has also faced criticism over its impact on freedom of speech and concerns that it could be used to silence some views, including from those who advocate for women-only spaces.

Rowling tested the law by listing 10 trans women, including a convicted rapist, sex abusers and high profile activists, on X and saying they were men.

A museum in the United States has erased any reference or items celebrating Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling over her supposedly “super hateful” views on transgenderism.

The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) in Seattle, Washington has decided to take down all Harry Potter memorabilia referring to the author of the immensely popular book series.

While Rowling, a self-professed liberal, was once propped up as a feminist icon as being one of the best-selling female authors of all time, she has now become an object of hate for the far-left, with many branding her as a “Terf” (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) for her critiques of the modern LGBT movement for endangering children and encroaching on female spaces and rights.

In a lengthy blog post outlining the rationale for the museum’s decision to de-person Rowling, Chris Moore, a self-professed transgender individual who uses “he/they” pronouns, said earlier this year: “There’s a certain cold, heartless, joy-sucking entity in the world of Harry Potter and, this time, it is not actually a Dementor.

“This certain person is a bit too vocal with her super hateful and divisive views to be ignored… Her transphobic viewpoints are front and centre these days, but we can’t forget all the other ways that she’s problematic: the support of antisemitic creators, the racial stereotypes that she used while creating characters, the incredibly white wizarding world, the fat shaming, the lack of LGBTQIA+ representation, the super-chill outlook on the bigotry and othering of those that don’t fit into the standard wizarding world, and so much more.”

“Education and creative expression are the heart of our mission and in our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, we strive to elevate those that are left out of the mainstream pop culture conversation, by amplifying voices and stories that are not always seen on museum walls.”

I don’t think trannies should be allowed to remain fans of these books.

Quidditch, the sport inspired by the wizarding game in the “Harry Potter” books, will now be known as quadball, its governing bodies said, a name change meant in part to distance themselves from author J.K. Rowling’s views on transgender issues.

In a statement on its website on Wednesday, the International Quidditch Association (IQA) said it was joining US Quidditch and Major League Quidditch – now rebranded as US Quadball (USQ) and Major League Quadball – in adopting the new name after all three bodies had previously announced their decision to make the change.

At the time they cited two reasons: Rowling’s opinions on transgender matters which have caused controversy, and Warner Bros., which was behind the “Harry Potter” films, owning the trademark for “quidditch”, limiting the sport’s expansion.

In 2020, Rowling voiced her concerns over trans women being allowed access to female spaces, drawing praise from some women’s rights campaigners as well as accusations of transphobia, which the author has rejected, by trans activists.

Chris Lau, chair of the IQA Board of Trustees, said IQA was “very excited to be joining USQ and MLQ in changing the name of our sport and supporting this change across our members worldwide”.

He added: “We are confident in this step and we look forward to all the new opportunities quadball will bring. This is an important moment in our sport’s history.”

Quadball, referring to the number of balls and positions in the sport, was chosen following surveys.

First introduced in Rowling’s books, the game was adapted to real life in 2005 with two teams of seven players running around with broomsticks between their legs in a full contact sport.

Today nearly 600 teams in 40 countries play the game, according to the IQA.

Honestly, I couldn’t even make it through the first half of the first book (and I’m a reader and a fantasy reader), but she is one of the celebrities I respect most of all. She has literally nothing to gain, and is burning down her entire legacy on principle.

I’m not saying #NotAllWomen, but you have to allow for individuals. Also, she’s still a woman. She has been divorced and remarried and so on. These books probably promoted the occult to children (I don’t know that, I’ve heard it from evangelicals, but they also say that about Dungeons & Dragons, and I really don’t believe it about Dungeons & Dragons. They were right about certain kinds – but by no means all – of heavy metal music. So it is hit or miss in the evangelical “accusations of demonism” category. I guess I should give JK the benefit of the doubt since I haven’t read her shitty books.)

Canceling Shakespeare or Beethoven is certainly much worse than canceling some shitty child’s novelist, obviously – but it is actually more extreme to cancel someone who contributed so much to current, modern culture, and who is still alive.

Also, she could have said all of this stuff she’s saying now in 2015 without a problem.

A researcher who lost her job at a thinktank after tweeting that transgender women could not change their biological sex has won her claim that she was unfairly discriminated against because of her gender-critical beliefs.

Maya Forstater suffered direct discrimination when the Centre for Global Development (CGD), where she was a visiting fellow, did not renew her contract or fellowship, an employment tribunal found on Wednesday.

Hmm…

The tribunal also ruled that Forstater, the executive director of Sex Matters, suffered victimisation with respect to the removal of her profile from CGD’s website.

Its decision comes after Forstater successfully brought a test case to establish that gender-critical views are a protected philosophical belief under the Equality Act. She initially lost that case at an employment tribunal in 2019 but won a landmark decision on appeal last year, with the judge stressing that while gender-critical views might be “profoundly offensive and even distressing to many others … they are beliefs that are and must be tolerated in a pluralist society”.

The case was then sent back to the tribunal to decide whether Forstater’s claim had been proved on the facts. It upheld two complaints of direct discrimination and one of victimisation. Two other complaints of direct discrimination and one of victimisation were unsuccessful.

The judgment stated: “Absent an explanation from the respondents, the facts are such that the tribunal could properly conclude that the tweets were a substantial part of the reason why Ms Forstater was not offered employment; and the respondent’s evidence, far from proving the contrary, supports the finding that they were …

“We reminded ourselves that it would be an error to treat a mere statement of Ms Forstater’s protected belief as inherently unreasonable or inappropriate.”

The tribunal examined a number of tweets by Forstater, including tweets in which she drew an analogy between self-identifying trans women and Rachel Dolezal, a white American woman who misrepresented herself as black, and another in which she said: “A man’s internal feeling that he is a woman has no basis in material reality.” It concluded that the tweets asserted her gender-critical beliefs.

It said the same of one that described self-identification as a woman as “a feeling in their head”, rejecting the suggestion that it equated self-identification with mental illness.

The tribunal also considered tweets in which Forstater said she was surprised people could say they believed that males could be women, and that they are “tying themselves in knots”.

It said they were “fairly mild examples” of mockery, adding: “Mocking or satirising the opposing view is part of the common currency of debate.”

The three-member panel, led by the employment judge Andrew Glennie, said a description of a Credit Suisse executive, Pips Bunce, who identified as a woman for part of the week, as a “part-time cross dresser” could have been put in “more moderate terms”.

But two of the three panel members said it “did not amount to an objectionable or inappropriate manifestation of Ms Forstater’s belief, given the context of a debate on a matter of public interest; the fact that Pips Bunce had put themself forward in public as a person who is gender fluid and who dresses sometimes as a woman and sometimes as a man”.

Responding to the decision, Forstater said: “My case matters for everyone who believes in the importance of truth and free speech. We are all free to believe whatever we wish. What we are not free to do is compel others to believe the same thing, to silence those who disagree with us or to force others to deny reality.”

She also thanked JK Rowling for standing by her. The Harry Potter author tweeted: “Every woman who’s been harassed, silenced, bullied or lost employment because of her gender critical beliefs is freer and safer today, thanks to the warrior that is @MForstater.”

Stonewall, the LGBTQ+ campaign group, said: “Today’s judgment … does not change the reality of trans people’s workplace protection. No one has the right to discriminate against, or harass, trans people simply because they disagree with their existence and participation in society.”

A transgender novelist has come under fire after penning a self-confessed “depraved psychosexual horrorshow” in which J.K. Rowling is burned alive in her home.

Gretchen Felker-Martin’s debut novel, “Manhunt,” follows two trans women “attempting to survive in a world ravaged by a plague which transforms anyone with enough testosterone in their system into a shrieking monstrosity.”

They find themselves at war with “TERFs,” the derogatory acronym for so-called trans-exclusionary radical feminists — including the “Knights of J.K. Rowling.”

The protagonists then talk about “the Harry Potter lady,” referring to Rowling, 56, who has received death threats for her comments about biological sex and the transgender community.

The “Harry Potter lady … ended up being a crazy TERF, like, super intense,” Felker-Martin’s character said, saying Rowling hired military contractors and “had them all up at her castle in Scotland.”

One of the group knocked over a lamp, sparking a fire and explosion that left Rowling and the others “to burn alive, and finally the whole castle collapsed,” Felker-Martin wrote.

The TERFs also use a warship called the Galbraith, likely a reference to Robert Galbraith, a pseudonym Rowling also writes under.

The Massachusetts-based author brags about writing “the most disgusting books in the English language, books about sexual revulsion, about body horror, about how violence forms and fits into our lives.”

She also routinely tweets about her book’s violent fantasy about Rowling, who has become a regular target for extremist trans activists.

“If you’re sick of gender plague novels written by transphobic dips–ts, try my novel MANHUNT, written by a trans woman for a trans audience. Trans dykes fall in love and f–k and murder TERFs, feral men maraud in the wilderness, J.K. Rowling dies, etc.,” she wrote in March.

“Manhunt” is the best-seller in Amazon’s “LGBTQ+ Horror Fiction” genre — but around a quarter of the reviews give it the lowest one-star rating, some ripping it as “rape fantasy” and “misogynistic trash.”

“A trans-identified male fetishist writes his fantasy about raping and murdering women he hates in a post-apocalyptic world,” one recent review said, insisting there is “no redeeming aspect to this story. None.”

Women’s rights campaigners have also attacked the book as dangerous.

“‘Terf’ is simply the new term for ‘witch’, making us fair game to be threatened, harassed, and yes, even killed,” Karen Varley, co-founder of Women Uniting UK, told The Times of London.

“Astonishing that any responsible publisher would publish this vile male sexual fantasy.”

The book’s publisher, Tor Nightfire — an imprint of Macmillan — did not respond to a request for comment, the UK Times said.

Felker-Martin has been reveling in the scandal, however, tweeting ads for her “depraved psychosexual horrorshow” that is “currently giving TERFs around the world a collective aneurysm.”

The author even attacked Rowling for not joining the outrage, with the “Harry Potter” novelist’s spokesperson declining to comment.

“It’s funny that @jk_rowling will put trans women with 20 followers on blast like it’s nothing but she’s too chicken to say ‘boo’ about MANHUNT. In which she dies. Fictionally,” Felker-Martin tweeted Thursday.

“You were mean to us so we are going to kill you” is perfectly safe, assuming the mean person is either a white male heterosexual or is otherwise below the person they are being mean to in the progressive stack. A Police and Crime Commissioner has been officially reprimanded after speaking out about transgender rapists.

Lisa Townsend, the Conservative’s police and crime commissioner for Surrey, was ruled to have not been “dignified or respectful” by Surrey’s police and crime panel when supporting J.K. Rowling’s tweet that suggested transgender rapists are not female.

Crispin Blunt, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Reigate, as well as two other male complainees reported Townsend to the male-dominated panel, who ruled on International Women’s Day that Townsend had breached the code of conduct of her office, and reprimanded her.

Townsend upon hearing the verdict said that the panel “is saying you should not speak about this [transgender rapists], but if you do, we’ll police the language”, the Daily Mail reports.

The backlash on Townsend came after she engaged with a tweet from J.K. Rowling that called out a policy from Scottish police that allowed male rapists to identify as female, even if they have a penis.

“War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength. The Penised Individual Who Raped You Is a Woman”, Rowling said in December 2021, in an effort to compare the Scottish police to George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984.

Townsend responded to this by tweeting, “It’s not a ‘niche’ issue, it’s not ‘hysterical’ of women to be taking to the streets about it. We will not accept this gaslighting from men who keep telling us they are women, or from those who enable them. #IStandWithJKRowling”.

After being apparently offended by the communication Crispin Blunt MP — who is also the chairman of the all-party parliamentary group on LGBT+ rights — complained to Surrey Council that Townsend’s “messaging propagates dangerous myths”.

Speaking in response to the panel Townsend said on Tuesday she was “disappointed that on this International Women’s Day Surrey’s Police and Crime Panel have found my tweet in support of a J.K. Rowling post about women who have been raped by ‘women’ with a penis, not to be ‘dignified or respectful’ and to explain myself to the [three] men who complained”.

The panel opted to rule against Townsend despite her highlighting in January that she was merely trying to “stand up for women” with her initial tweet as well as highlighting she does “support the right of trans men and women to live how they choose”.

Yeah, all these people will come out and say “oh, I support them doing whatever they want.”

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has slammed moves by the left-separatist Scottish National Party (SNP) to allow biological men to self-identify as women more easily, warning that it will endanger biological women by granting malign actors access to women-only spaces.

“The law [First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is] trying to pass in Scotland will harm the most vulnerable women in society: those seeking help after male violence/rape and incarcerated women,” Rowling wrote on social media, quoting a user alleging that biological males were using self-identification to get into “female sexual assault recovery groups”.

“Statistics show that imprisoned women are already far more likely to have been previously abused,” Rowling added.

The children’s author — a left-liberal icon until she began speaking out on transgenderism — had earlier shared approvingly an article by a survivor of childhood sexual abuse rebuking the Scottish Social Justice Secretary, Shona Robison, for her facile claim that “predatory and abusive men have ever had to pretend to be anything else to carry out abusive and predatory behaviour,” intended to women’s dispel fears around self-ID.

Rowling also came down hard on a social media user who pooh-poohed her concerns by claiming that “men can already dress as a woman and hide in a bathroom if they want, nobody does this and you’re just fearmongeing.”

“I assume this is parody?” the author shot back.

“Trans woman Katie Dolatowski was convicted of the attempted rape of a 10-year-old girl in 2018, a short car ride away from the Scottish parliament. The attack took place in a supermarket bathroom,” she said.

Dolatowski — who was actually convicted of sexual assault and a voyeurism charged related to an attempt to photograph a urinating 12-year-old in a separate incident — was not imprisoned for the attack, and went on to be accommodated in a women-only hostel by the authorities.

She’s basically Putin at this point.

US-based Quidditch associations are exploring new names for the sport, adapted from a fictional game played in the wizarding universe of ‘Harry Potter’ books and films, citing copyright woes and the author’s “transphobia.”

US Quidditch and Major League Quidditch (MLQ) issued a joint statement on pursuing renaming possibilities on Wednesday, but it didn’t catch media attention until Friday. MLQ Commissioner Amanda Dallas said both leagues have been “quietly collecting research” and discussing it extensively with trademark lawyers “for the last year or so.”

“Renaming the sport opens up so many more revenue opportunities for both organizations, which is crucial to expansion,” USQ Executive Director Mary Kimball said, adding that picking a new shared trademark would enable both leagues to “pursue sponsorships, broadcasting on major TV networks and other projects that’ll address some of the biggest barriers to playing the sport, like access to equipment.”

The term ‘quidditch’ is currently trademarked by Warner Bros. as part of the licensing rights for J.K. Rowling’s best-selling book series. While this is officially cited as the primary reason for the name change, the leagues did admit they wanted to “distance themselves from the works” of Rowling, “who has increasingly come under scrutiny for her anti-trans positions” in recent years.

“Our sport has developed a reputation as one of the most progressive sports in the world on gender equality and inclusivity, in part thanks to its gender maximum rule, which stipulates that a team may not have more than four players of the same gender on the field at a time,” the joint statement said. “Both organizations feel it is imperative to live up to this reputation in all aspects of their operations and believe this move is a step in that direction.”

Rowling first drew the ire of transgender advocates in 2019, when she publicly defended an accountant fired for referring to trans women as biologically male. Just this week, she mocked Scottish police’s classification of trans rapists as women and assigning them to female prisons.

“The sport needs its own space without limits on its growth potential and changing the name is crucial to achieving that,” according to Alex Benepe, who, along with Xander Manshel, adapted the fictional sport in 2005 at Middlebury College in Vermont.

Frankly, this isn’t a real sport and people shouldn’t be playing it anyway.
