As regards my newly crystalized paradigm of systematically rejecting federal government legitimacy (while following the laws to keep from being killed by a criminal gang), if states were willing to say “no” to the fedgov, I would be interested in potentially supporting the authorities in those states.

However, based on everything we’ve seen, state authorities are de facto just as corrupt as federal authorities, in that they are unwilling to stand up against the federal authorities.

There was no revolution that succeeded on good intentions. State authorities have a Constitutional right (duty, in fact) to refuse Unconstitutional orders from fedgov.

Thus far, no state has told a federal court that if they want to create laws in their state, they are going to have to come enforce those laws themselves.

A federal judge on Monday temporarily blocked Iowa from enforcing a state law that would allow local authorities to arrest, charge and deport migrants who were previously denied entry or deported from the US.

The Biden administration sued Iowa over the new law last month, arguing that the federal government has “exclusive authority under federal law to regulate the entry and removal of noncitizens,” and US District Court Judge Stephen Locher said the Justice Department was likely to prevail in its case when he issued the preliminary injunction.

“As a matter of politics, the new legislation might be defensible,” Locher wrote in his ruling. “As a matter of constitutional law, it is not.”

Okay, well. The fedgov is not enforcing existing laws, which makes the argument as to whether they have a right to do so irrelevant.

The question of whether or not states have a right to enforce federal law that the federal government refuses to enforce has not actually ever been answered.

The reverse has been widely answered with marijuana legalization: at least under certain circumstances, states are allowed to completely ignore federal law.

The law, which was slated to go into effect on July 1, makes it an aggravated misdemeanor offense — punishable by up to two years in prison — for migrants to be in the Hawkeye State if they have outstanding deportation orders, were previously deported or were at one point barred from entering the US.

The crime is elevated to a felony offense if the person’s previous removal orders were related to misdemeanor convictions for drug crimes, crimes against people or any type of felony conviction.

Under the legislation, police are barred from arresting suspected migrants in violation of the law at places of worship, schools or medical facilities.

 

Arrested individuals may be allowed by a judge to leave the country and not face charges, according to the law’s text.

Biden’s Justice Department has sued Texas and Oklahoma over similar measures.

These laws wouldn’t even really do anything anyway.

The interesting question is whether or not there is a state that is willing to reject Unconstitutional federal authority.

There is no safe way to extract rare earth minerals and there is no safe way to dispose of them. These windmills are constantly being destroyed, and the only solution is to bury them in landfills where they leech the poison into the water a second time (the first time being when they were built).

This is just a copy of the Texas law, which is tied up in legal wrangling.

If Iowa wanted to push the limits, they would pass a law saying that illegal immigrants can be rounded up and put in concentration camps until the feds can figure out something to do with them. Then, if the fed judges told them they weren’t allowed to do it, they would do it anyway, and tell the feds to come stop them.

For anything to actually change in this country, states are going to have to start telling the feds to come stop them. But state leaders are all very weak, and will only do the bare minimum to stay in office.

Hundreds of thousands of fish were killed earlier this month in a nearly 50-mile stretch of the East Nishnabotna River to the Missouri border due to a fertilizer spill in Iowa, state officials said.

On March 11, NEW Cooperative, Inc. in Red Oak reported to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) that a spill occurred on their Montgomery County premises.

About 1,500 tons (equal to 265,000 gallons) of liquid nitrogen fertilizer (32% solution) was released into a drainage ditch, which subsequently entered the East Nishnabotna River.

The spill happened due to an above-ground storage tank valve that was mistakenly left open over the weekend, the DNR said.

DNR Fisheries staff said the fish kill affected the entire 49.8 miles of the East Nishnabotna and Nishnabotna Rivers downstream of the spill and extended to Missouri’s section of the Nishnabotna River before concluding near the junction with the Missouri River.

A newlywed Iowa school teacher has admitted sexually abusing students as young as 13 — leaving her facing up to 33 years in prison after already losing her job and short-lived marriage.

Cassidy Kraus, 24, a teacher at IKM Manning School, got hitched in July — just for new husband Zachary to file for divorce on August 28 when the abuse against at least three boys first emerged, according to Fox News.

Three days before the divorce filing, the teacher tendered her resignation to avoid getting fired, school officials said.

She pleaded guilty Monday to one count of third-degree sexual abuse, two counts of lascivious acts with a child and three counts of dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials to minors, KTIV reported.

She committed lascivious acts against a 13-year-old in May 2022 by “fondling or touching” him, according to the complaint, which noted that she was a “mandatory reporter of child abuse as a teacher employed by the IKM-Manning Community School District.”

Kraus also had sexually abused a 14-year-old boy by “performing sex acts” between Jan. 17 and Jan. 31, 2023, officials said.

It sounds like she was just giving them handjobs.

Michael Cassidy has been charged with a hate crime for beheading a statue of Satan at the Iowa Capitol. Cassidy drove up to Iowa after the Satanic display was erected in the state capitol and took it down. He will be arraigned on February 15.

Polk County prosecutors charged Cassidy with felony third-degree criminal mischief, saying that he acted “in violation of individual rights” under Iowa’s hate crime statue, the Des Moines Register reports.

Cassidy had been charged with a misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief the day after the beheading but had been informed that he may be liable for further charges.

Spokesman for the Polk County Attorney’s Office Lynn Hicks said that “Evidence shows the defendant made statements to law enforcement and the public indicating he destroyed the property because of the victim’s religion.” This is what resulted in the hate crimes charge.

Hicks further elaborated on how much it would cost to replace the statue of Baphoment constructed by the Satanic Temple, which would be between $750 and $1,500. The extremely litigious Satanic Temple had filed their own damage estimate, saying that it would be $3,000 to replace the statue.

Cassidy, a former military officer who ran for Congress, pushed over and decapitated the statue of Baphomet, which had been put up by members of the Satanic Temple of Iowa. The Satanic Temple had been given permission for the display. Cassidy discarded the head of Baphomet in the trash.

It’s in the Constitution that you have to worship Satan. Or, at least, that’s what an army of Jew lawyers said, and I’ve never known them to lie about anything.

Trump won the Iowa caucus with 51%, and the media is reacting to the news with shock.

Apparently, they knew he was going to win but didn’t expect him to win by so much? It’s not clear.

The way Trump talks about Nimrata, it is clear that he is considering her as a potential VP candidate.

The Satanic Temple’s display inside the Iowa State Capitol was destroyed on Thursday, according to police.

A spokesperson for the Iowa State Police told Fox News Digital that Michael Cassidy, 35, was arrested after allegedly tearing down the Iowa Satanic Temple’s Baphomet display.

He was charged with 4th-degree criminal mischief.

In a text message to Fox News Digital, Cassidy confirmed he tore down the satanic display, which was erected last week by The Satanic Temple of Iowa to represent the group’s right to religious freedom.

A massive rescue operation remains underway in Davenport, Iowa, after an apartment building partially collapsed Sunday afternoon.

Authorities have not disclosed if anyone was killed or the number of people, if any, that remain trapped after a portion of the six-story apartment complex collapsed and broke away from the rest of the structure.

“Our focus is rescue right now,” Davenport Mayor Mike Matson said at a news conference.

“This is an active scene. We will continue to work, continue to evaluate, with the whole purpose of trying to find people and trying to get them out,” he added, saying Gov. Kim Reynolds offered assistance in the rescue effort.

Iowa is the latest state to prohibit surgical or chemical “transitioning” of gender-confused minors as well as forcing students to share restrooms with members of the opposite sex, thanks to new laws signed by Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds.

The Des Moines Register reports that on Wednesday, Reynolds signed Senate File 538, which forbids the administering of prohibits Iowa doctors from prescribing puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or “transition” surgeries to anyone younger than 18, and Senate File 482, which forbids schools from allowing individuals to use a bathroom or changing that does not match their biological sex.

The second bill also requires parental consent for a student to use alternative facilities, in order to prevent schools from indulging a child’s gender confusion behind their parents’ backs.

“We need to just pause, we need to understand what these emerging therapies actually may potentially do to our kids,” Reynolds said. “My heart goes out to them. I’m a parent, I’m a grandmother, I know how difficult this is. This is an extremely uncomfortable position for me to be in. I don’t like it. But I have to do what I believe right now is in the best interest of the kids.”

Left-wing groups including the Iowa chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and the Iowa State Education Association condemned the new laws. Cathryn Oakley, state legislative director for the far-left LGBT activist group Human Rights Campaign, attacked the “transitioning” measure as “life-threatening.”

However, evidence indicates that the danger rests with promoting transgenderism, rather than curbing it.

Studies find that more than 80% of children experiencing gender dysphoria outgrow it on their own by late adolescence, and that even full “reassignment” surgery often fails to resolve gender-confused individuals’ heightened tendency to engage in self-harm and suicide — and may even exacerbate it, including by reinforcing their confusion and neglecting the actual root causes of their mental strife.

On top of those issues, experts outside the medical establishment further warn that surgically or chemically reinforcing gender confusion imposes irreversible harm on children such as infertility, impairment of adult sexual function, and reduced life expectancy, as well as the psychological toll of being “locked into” physical alterations regardless of whether they change their minds when they mature.

The issue is grimly illustrated in the story of Yaeli Martinez, a 19-year-old to whom “gender transitioning” was touted as a possible cure for her depression in high school, supported by a high school counselor who withheld what she was going through from her mother. The troubled girl killed herself after trying to live as a man for three years.

Many oft-ignored “detransitioners,” individuals who attempted to live under a different “gender identity” before embracing their sex, attest to the physical and mental harm of reinforcing gender confusion, as well as to the bias and negligence of the medical establishment on the subject.

This is far and above the most serious anti-tranny bill yet, and it doesn’t go anywhere near far enough.

The basic reality is that no one is going to do anything to stop any of this.
