Thousands of Australians protested against the anniversary of British colonisation on Friday, with large crowds across the country calling for Australia Day to be moved and for a day of mourning to instead be held on what they call “Invasion Day”.

Invasion of who??

The Abos, who were just wandering around the woods naked, having sex with their own kids?

They hadn’t even figured out the connection between sex and pregnancy!

Speeches in major cities highlighted anger and despair over high Indigenous incarceration rates, deaths in custody and the forced removal of First Nations children from their families. The rallies come months after the proposal for an Indigenous voice to parliament was overwhelmingly defeated at a national referendum.

The whites were a gift to these people.

If the whites hadn’t come, the Maoris would have come over from New Zealand, and just outright genocided them. The Abos would be an extinct race if whites hadn’t showed up to play savior and baby them.

This theory of “evil whites” is all insane and the opposite of facts.

In Victoria, the host of the Invasion Day rally congratulated those who chopped Captain Cook off a statue in St Kilda on Thursday, drawing applause from the crowd outside parliament. “This is massive. I’m really, really proud of our city,” he said. “I’m really proud of the people who took action yesterday.”

Yep.

I guess people would all prefer this to being called “racist.”

That’s the decision everyone seems to have made here.

Some attenders at the Melbourne rally held signs noting the destruction with the words “the colony will fall”, the same phrase that was spray-painted on the statue’s plinth.

The rallies in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane also heavily featured Palestinian flags and the keffiyeh, a traditional scarf that has grown to symbolise the struggle for a Palestinian state.

Australia Day, held on 26 January, commemorates the arrival of the British fleet in Sydney harbour in 1788.

When the fleet arrived, the land was deemed unoccupied, despite the fact the island continent has been continuously occupied by Indigenous groups for more than 40,000 years. For growing numbers of Australians, the highly sensitive date is not a time for celebration, but instead marks the date that the colonisation of Australia began, accompanied by the mistreatment of Indigenous people.

It’s because they’re teaching this at schools to women and brown people who will believe anything.

The Jews are using these people to commit a genocide against white people.

On Friday, Brooke Prentis, a descendant of the Wakka Wakka people and an Aboriginal Christian leader, attended a large rally in Brisbane and said she held no ill-will towards those enjoying the day.

“I love the lamington, I love the barbie, I love the lamb chop,” said Prentis, referring to common Australia Day foods and activities. “But the date needs to be thought about as a day of mourning, so that we can mature as a nation.

“I’m not telling anyone to change what they do on Australia Day, but maybe just think about the First Nations people.”

Well.

What are you supposed to think about the “first nations”?

About huffing gas and having sex with their own kids and then dying from being run over by a truck because they sleep in the road?

No one wants to think about these people because it is sad and disgusting.

The marches date back to shortly after 1935, the year that 26 January was first recognised as a day of national celebration. First Nations people deemed it a day of mourning. In more recent decades, overt signs of patriotism, including wearing flag-adorned clothing on the public holiday, have become common.

There has also been a growing push to change the date of the national celebration, a move popular with younger Australians but less so with older generations. Terms such as Invasion Day and Survival Day are now routinely used as a means of counter-observance.

The conservative opposition leader, Peter Dutton, earlier called for a boycott of the supermarket Woolworths over its decision to stop stocking Australia Day merchandise, a decision the group said was due to a lack of customer demand rather than a commentary on the date. Shortly after, some Woolworths stores were vandalised with pro-Australia Day messages.

Friday’s public holiday was the first Australia Day since the unsuccessful “voice” referendum, an issue raised at many of the rallies.

It’s beyond the pale.

Childcare centres have been accused of trying to make toddlers feel ashamed of their country by teaching them Australia was stolen from First Nations people.

More than 7,000 schools and daycare centres are registered with Reconciliation Australia as having a formal ‘acknowledgement of country’.

Many childcare centres have been urged to commemorate January 26 as Invasion or Survival Day while others recite an Acknowledgement of Country daily.

Childcare centres and preschools are the latest to become embroiled in the divisive Australia Day debate leading up to the national public holiday this Friday.

The move has sparked outrage from NSW Libertarian Party MP John Ruddick who accused childcare centres of ‘indoctrination’.

Aussie Childcare Network, which is a leading provider of childcare resources, has created a calendar of events.

January 26 is listed as ‘Yabun, celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures, Invasion Day, Survival Day, Australia Day’.

The network suggests that providers mark Australia Day by flying the Aboriginal flag at half-mast, observe a moment of silence, or include an Acknowledgement of Country in the morning

SDN Children’s Services Bluebell, in the ACT, teaches kindergarten kids about ‘stolen land’.

‘The preschool children are used to acknowledging Country, and know they gather on Ngunnawal land, the place of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples,’ the ACT-based centre states on its website.

‘The foundation for this learning begins when the children enter the centre as infants.

‘Now older, preschoolers participate in enquiry-based learning – the daily ritual of acknowledging Country is built upon with explicit teaching about stolen land.’

The learning about First Nations extends to other activities such as story-time, singing and group discussions.

‘We think about how we can do something to be respectful and actually influence improved outcomes,’ the centre director states.

‘We don’t want to just teach about the injustices that have and do happen, but do something that contributes to countering it. So we teach and model respect.’

The divisive debate surrounding Australia Day has prompted some centres to not celebrate the day while others will do ‘green and gold’ themed days.

Early Childhood Australia encourages providers to build relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to bring about positive change to communities.

Sounds like a good way to get white kids addicted to paint-huffing.

And raped.

However, the peak early childhood advocacy organisation has ‘stopped short of providing too much direction’ to providers to ensure educators are mindful of the different connotations January 26 has for Indigenous families.

‘It’s the date that’s controversial,’ Early Childhood Australia chief executive Samantha Page told The Australian.

NSW Libertarian Party MP John Ruddick said that children were being ‘indoctrinated to feel ashamed of their country’.

‘Every nation has a national day to reflect on what’s good about their homeland,’ he said.

‘Seems to be only in Australia we have this ever-escalating culture war and now we’re doing all we can to indoctrinate infants to be ashamed of their country.’

If it wasn’t for whites, Abos wouldn’t even know not to get drunk and sleep in the road.

Whites have to go to Abo areas and make PSA announcements telling Abos “look, we get it. You get tired, so you need to sleep. You can lay down and have a sleep anywhere you like – except in the road.”

Thousands of people joined “Invasion Day” protests in cities across Australia on Sunday to mark the beginning of British colonisation of the vast continent.

January 26 is officially recognised as Australia Day, a public holiday to celebrate the origins of the modern nation and is commemorated with fireworks, concerts and citizenship ceremonies.

However, the date is a time of mourning for indigenous Australians, who have inhabited the land for 65,000 years and view the arrival of British settlers in 1788 as heralding two centuries years of pain and suffering.

Annual rallies have steadily grown in size as protesters bring attention to injustices faced by indigenous people and call on the government to change the date of Australia Day.

It was only formally established as a nation-wide celebration in 1994.

That’s horrible.

Wouldn’t everybody be happier if all of these lesser simians would’ve been put out of their misery by now?

This year, non-indigenous Australians were asked to give reparations in the form of a donation to the #PayTheRent campaign.

Melbourne rally organiser Lidia Thorpe, a former Victoria state government politician, drew attention to the plight of Aboriginal families who had to pay for the funerals of relatives who died in custody.

“It’s 2020 and we’re still trying to raise money to bury our people. So we’re asking people to pay the rent, you’re on stolen land,” she said.

“It’s time to reparate for the mass injustice that we’ve had as first people of this country.”

What kind of society lets racial foreigners, especially openly hostile ones, hold political office?

Her last name is Scandinavian. Why hasn’t she apologized for what her Viking ancestors did to northern France?

And what kind of people would vote for someone like this?

The state this bitch was elected in is overwhelmingly White, and the “indigenous” are less than 1% of the population, so presumably mostly White people voted for her.

Why?

Chants of “Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land” rang out as large crowds marched through the city.

Some waved the Aboriginal flag while others held aloft signs with slogans such as “No Pride in Genocide” and “Sovereignty Was Never Ceded”.

One protester, who gave her name only as Sophie, said she believed Australia Day should be abolished entirely rather than simply moved to another date.

“I don’t think there’s any day that you can celebrate Australia Day without also celebrating a genocide.”

I don’t think most Australians really celebrate the genocide aspect, but they should.

We should celebrate victories of our ancestors against different races, especially disgusting barely human ones like those critters who were infesting Australia before the White man set foot there.

That’s what normal, sane people do.
