So this law was going to ban any form of image editing under “copyright,” effectively banning memes.

It was clearly designed for that purpose, as there are already relatively clear recognized legal standards of “fair use” and parody.

The Europoors would just lay down and take it, like they do everything else.

But it looks like tech companies that didn’t want to deal with scanning every single image posted on their sites came to their rescue.

The Independent:

The European Parliament has voted against an incredibly controversial new set of copyright rules that campaigners claim could “ban memes”.

The law will now be sent for a full reconsideration and debate inside the parliament, during which activists will try and remove the controversial Article 11 and 13.

Article 11 has been referred to by campaigners as instituting a “link tax”, by forcing tech companies like Google and Facebook to pay to use snippets of content on their own sites. Article 13 adds rules that make tech companies responsible for ensuring any copyrighted material is not spread over their platforms.

Those rules could force technology companies to scan through everything their users post and check it doesn’t include copyrighted material. If it is found, the post will be forced to be removed, which campaigners claim could destroy the kind of memes and remixes that spread across the internet.

The revamp has triggered strong criticism from Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee, net neutrality expert Tim Wu, internet pioneer Vint Cerf and others.

Copyright campaigners claim that the rules are necessary to ensure that material isn’t illegally spread across the internet. Europe’s broadcasters, publishers and artists including Paul McCartney backed the rules, arguing the controversial Article 13 would protect the music industry.

Paul McCartney is full of shit.

Pirating music is already illegal everywhere in Europe. Even though it shouldn’t be.

Because:

INFORMATION WANTS TO BE FREE.

No one wants to listen to your shitty songs anyway, Paul.

The Beatles were the worst band in history and the music you made afterward was even worse.

All of This Shit

The internet is making very powerful people very powerfully angry.

All throughout human history, the ruling class had the ability to control the dissemination of information. Now it is all everywhere. Not only are people able to access all information, they are able to freely spread their own thoughts.

This is very bad for a society that is entirely based on a very strict set of lies.

“The Holocaust? More like the Holohoax! Let me show you this video, kids.” -The Internet

In Europe they pass laws, in America private Jewish lobbying groups (SPLC/ADL) blackmail private companies into shutting down free speech. They can also sue you for your speech.

The Jews attempted to set a new precedent for censorship in their war against the Daily Stormer – when they literally stole our domain, then attempted to keep a new one from being registered anywhere else.

But we stayed alive.

Thanks to weev.

But none of this is going to get any easier.

Well, it might in America. Possibly. I still think Trump might do something. Basically, the plan right now by the tech industry is to shut down any and all support for Donald Trump or anything else right-wing from all social media, and then start shutting down websites by stealing their domains like they did to us, and that is not a good position for Trump to be in.

I’m waiting for him to give the signal to Ajit Pai to give us back our freedoms under some new form of net neutrality where companies are obliged to protect the First Amendment rights of the people.

World Wide Web Inventor Tim Berners-Lee Calls for Regulation of Big Tech https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/03/12/world-wide-web-inventor-tim-berners-lee-calls-for-regulation-of-big-tech/ Mon, 12 Mar 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

It is going to happen.

Every non-Jew in the industry is calling for it now. The public is demanding it. Alex Jones is all up on it.

And Donald Trump knows that without the ability for his own supporters to organize on the internet, he loses a whole lot of power and influence. I think all right-wingers in the government understand this.

And the whole Russian conspiracy gibberish gives the perfect pretext for the government to get involved with the tech industry and tell them they do not have a right to organize to silence the free speech of American citizens.

The Guardian:

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the world wide web, has called for large technology firms to be regulated to prevent the web from being “weaponised at scale”.

“In recent years, we’ve seen conspiracy theories trend on social media platforms, fake Twitter and Facebook accounts stoke social tensions, external actors interfere in elections, and criminals steal troves of personal data,” Berners-Lee wrote in an open letter marking the 29th anniversary of his invention.

These problems have proliferated because of the concentration of power in the hands of a few platforms – including Facebook, Google, and Twitter – which “control which ideas and opinions are seen and shared”.

“What was once a rich selection of blogs and websites has been compressed under the powerful weight of a few dominant platforms,” said the 62-year-old British computer scientist.

These online gatekeepers can lock in their power by acquiring smaller rivals, buying up new innovations and hiring the industry’s top talent, making it harder for others to compete, he said.

Yeah, that is the thing.

Their power is already locked in because they’ve already bought all of the smaller rivals. And even the smaller rivals that haven’t been bought can be bullied very easily with threats of denial of various services, as was evidenced by the campaign to remove Daily Stormer from the internet completely.

First it was Godaddy and Google, then a whole list of smaller registrars.

And all types of different services.

The alleged capitalists (and communists) want to come out and scream about “MUH PRIVATE COMPANIES HAVE A RIGHT TO DO BUSINESS WITH WHO THEY CHOOSE,” but what you have is effectively an oligopoly of allied conspirators who are pushing a political agenda.

And the DS situation PROVED THAT BEYOND ANY DOUBT.

Honestly, it was stupid for them to do this to me, because now they can’t even claim that it is impossible or they won’t do it.

The FCC even cited the DS situation in their filing regarding net neutrality. The DS shut down was the event that has precipitated this entire conversation.

I guess that shows how effective we are that they were willing to cook their own goose in their attempt to silence us.

Google now accounts for about 87% of online searches worldwide. Facebook has more than 2.2 billion monthly active users – more than 20 times more than MySpace at its peak. Together, the two companies (including their subsidiaries Instagram and YouTube) slurp up more than 60% of digital advertising spend worldwide.

Although the companies are aware of the problems and have made efforts to fix them – developing systems to tackle fake news, bots and influence operations – they have been built to “maximise profit more than maximise social good”.

I don’t think Tim cares about the fake news bullshit.

He cares about the IDEA of the internet which was FREEDOM FOR THE PEOPLE.

And the situation with DS showed him and everyone else that this is already gone, and if we don’t act now, we’ll never get it back.

NOTE: I am not implying that Tim is a Neo-Nazi White Supremacist or supports Daily Stormer. I am simply saying that he played a leading role in creating the idea of the internet, and he knows that what happened to DS means that idea is dead.

“A legal or regulatory framework that accounts for social objectives may help ease those tensions,” he said.

Aligning the incentives of the technology sector with those of users and society at large, he argued, will require consulting a diverse group of people from business, government, civil society, academia and the arts.

Berners-Lee warned of “two myths” that “limit our collective imagination” when looking for solutions to the problems facing the web: “The myth that advertising is the only possible business model for online companies, and the myth that it’s too late to change the way platforms operate. On both points we need to be a little more creative,” he said.

“I want the web to reflect our hopes and fulfil our dreams, rather than magnify our fears and deepen our divisions,” he said.

…

The open letter comes a year after Berners-Lee called for tighter regulation of online political advertising, which he said was being used in “unethical ways”.

Since then, representatives from Facebook, Twitter and Google have been hauled in front of Congress to answer questions over the extent to which their platforms were used in a multi-pronged Russian operation to influence the 2016 presidential election.

All three admitted that Russian entities bought ads on their sites in an attempt to skew the vote. Russians posed as Americans to buy ads on Facebook pushing divisive messages focusing on swing states. They also spent tens of thousands of dollars on ads to spread disinformation across YouTube and Google. On Twitter, swarms of bots helped promote fake news stories.

Lee is playing up the Russia thing because he, like me, understands that this is tactical.

The enemies of freedom have put forward this agenda, and we have the opportunity to reverse it, and throw it back in their faces.

FULL OPEN LETTER FOLLOWS

Today, the world wide web turns 29. This year marks a milestone in the web’s history: for the first time, we will cross the tipping point when more than half of the world’s population will be online.

When I share this exciting news with people, I tend to get one of two concerned reactions:

How do we get the other half of the world connected?
Are we sure the rest of the world wants to connect to the web we have today?
The threats to the web today are real – from misinformation and questionable political advertising to a loss of control over our personal data. But I remain committed to making sure the web is a free, open, creative space – for everyone.

That vision is only possible if we get everyone online, and make sure the web works for people. I founded the Web Foundation to fight for the web’s future. Here’s where we must focus our efforts:

Close the digital divide

The divide between people who have internet access and those who do not is deepening existing inequalities, inequalities that pose a serious global threat. Unsurprisingly, you’re more likely to be offline if you are female, poor, live in a rural area or a low-income country, or some combination of the above. To be offline today is to be excluded from opportunities to learn and earn, to access valuable services, and to participate in democratic debate. If we do not invest seriously in closing this gap, the last billion will not be connected until 2042. That’s an entire generation left behind.

In 2016, the UN declared internet access a human right, on par with clean water, electricity, shelter and food. But until we make internet access affordable for all, billions will continue to be denied this basic right. The target has been set – the UN recently adopted the Alliance for Affordable Internet’s threshold for affordability: 1GB of mobile data for less than 2% of average monthly income. The reality, however, is that we’re still a long way off from reaching this target – in some countries, the cost of 1GB of mobile broadband remains more than 20% of average monthly income.

What will it take to actually achieve this goal? We must support policies and business models that expand access to the world’s poorest through public access solutions, such as community networks and public wifi initiatives. We must invest in securing reliable access for women and girls, and empowering them through digital skills training.

Make the web work for people

The web that many connected to years ago is not what new users will find today. What was once a rich selection of blogs and websites has been compressed under the powerful weight of a few dominant platforms. This concentration of power creates a new set of gatekeepers, allowing a handful of platforms to control which ideas and opinions are seen and shared.

These dominant platforms are able to lock in their position by creating barriers for competitors. They acquire startup challengers, buy up new innovations and hire the industry’s top talent. Add to this the competitive advantage that their user data gives them and we can expect the next 20 years to be far less innovative than the last.

What’s more, the fact that power is concentrated among so few companies has made it possible to weaponise the web at scale. In recent years, we’ve seen conspiracy theories trend on social media platforms, fake Twitter and Facebook accounts stoke social tensions, external actors interfere in elections, and criminals steal troves of personal data.

We’ve looked to the platforms themselves for answers. Companies are aware of the problems and are making efforts to fix them – with each change they make affecting millions of people. The responsibility – and sometimes burden – of making these decisions falls on companies that have been built to maximise profit more than to maximise social good. A legal or regulatory framework that accounts for social objectives may help ease those tensions.

Bring more voices to the debate on the web’s future

The future of the web isn’t just about those of us who are online today, but also those yet to connect. Today’s powerful digital economy calls for strong standards that balance the interests of both companies and online citizens. This means thinking about how we align the incentives of the tech sector with those of users and society at large, and consulting a diverse cross section of society in the process.

Two myths currently limit our collective imagination: the myth that advertising is the only possible business model for online companies, and the myth that it’s too late to change the way platforms operate. On both points, we need to be a little more creative.

While the problems facing the web are complex and large, I think we should see them as bugs: problems with existing code and software systems that have been created by people – and can be fixed by people. Create a new set of incentives and changes in the code will follow. We can design a web that creates a constructive and supportive environment.

Today, I want to challenge us all to have greater ambitions for the web. I want the web to reflect our hopes and fulfil our dreams, rather than magnify our fears and deepen our divisions.

As the late internet activist, John Perry Barlow, once said: “A good way to invent the future is to predict it.” It may sound utopian, it may sound impossible to achieve after the setbacks of the last two years, but I want us to imagine that future and build it.

Let’s assemble the brightest minds from business, technology, government, civil society, the arts and academia to tackle the threats to the web’s future. At the Web Foundation, we are ready to play our part in this mission and build the web we all want. Let’s work together to make it possible.

Gay Nigger Association of America Gets Feminist Tinder Kicked Out of Their Office https://www.anglinarchive.com/2017/08/07/gay-nigger-association-of-america-gets-feminist-tinder-kicked-out-of-their-office/ Mon, 07 Aug 2017 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

Bumble is a feminist dating app. The company is run by the whore mastermind Whitney Wolfe, who co-founded the scamming whore-pit Tinder to help fellow whores scam men. After she split with the company, she sued them for sexual harassment – this is standard operating procedure for empowered professional women – and settled for over a million dollars. The claim was that the co-founder – her ex-boyfriend, a swarthy Arabian gentleman – called her a “slut” and a “whore.”

This is truly the future all women envision – “you called me a slut so now you have to give me $1,000,000.”

Someone told me that’s her number, but I dunno, I didn’t try it.

The famous band of heroes known as the Gay Nigger Association of America has successfully run them out of their offices, which they were illegally running in an apartment complex in Austin, Texas.

This is a major victory against dumb cunts.

Award-winning Buzzfeed journalist Joe “Blockhead” Bernstein has the scoop:

“Be Nice or Leave” — that’s one of the unofficial mottos of Bumble, the hugely successful dating app commonly referred to as “feminist Tinder.”

But many residents of the Bowie, the ultra-luxury Austin high-rise where the company had its headquarters until earlier this month, say employees of the company treated the building like their dedicated campus with little regard for the people who lived there and the staff who worked there — even though only three Bumble employees were on the residential lease and no one lived in the unit.

Women?

Acting like they’re the center of the universe?

Ya don’t say.

That’s a real shocker.

BuzzFeed News has learned that over the past year, as the company swelled in size, the two-bedroom apartment on the 31st floor that it had repurposed into a plush startup office became the focus of a cold war between Bumble employees, building staff, and residents who felt the company was unfairly dominating the luxury building’s amenities, including common spaces, a rooftop pool, and paid parking.

“The Bumble folks are generally obnoxious, entitled, and treat the Bowie like their corporate office,” said one resident, who spoke to BuzzFeed on the condition that he not be named.

The Bowie, a three-year-old, 37-story gleaming glass tower rising above downtown Austin, was in many ways a fitting location for Bumble, a company that has amassed 12.5 million users and risen to second in the lifestyle category in the App Store since being started by Tinder cofounder Whitney Wolfe after her acrimonious split from that company. Indeed, the company hosted the New York Times there for an interview ahead of a glowing story in March.

…

The only problem? According to an Austin code department spokesperson, the office, located in a building approved for use as a multifamily residential property, was a code violation. And the thriving startup was using facilities intended for Bowie residents as its own.

Who would be so stupid as to think it was not a code violation to run a corporation out of an apartment?

Yes. Women are stupider than shit. Especially that one, I would wager.

But why would Joe Bernstein print that like it’s supposed to be a surprise?

Isn’t he Jewish? I thought they were supposed to have IQs like THE LEADER.

This is the apartment complex they were ruining.

They were probably just leaving bloody tampons in the hallway and everything.

A copy of a code complaint filed with the Austin city government by a resident describes a company that could not be contained within the 1,200-square-foot apartment that Bumble referred to as “The Hive.”

“Issue?” the complaint reads. “Bumble headquarters in apartment building! This is a residential building … and this illegal corporate headquarters has been causing Havoc … They’re located on the 31st floor, have about 15 or 20 employees, therefore they use all the common spaces as a secondary office … One is supposed to be on a lease to use common areas, but they do not care … This is a very large company and they should have a real office instead of a code violating office.”

Over the past year, a former member of the building staff said, the front desk — staffed by a local concierge company — received multiple complaints a day about Bumble employees, often related to company employees using the 31st-floor common space for meetings and presentations.

This was like an infestation of rats.

Except rats don’t leave bloody tampons everywhere.

In a statement, a Bumble spokesman wrote, “The 31st floor is where it all started and we throughly enjoyed our relationship with the residents. The building management was fully aware of our operations and never once issued us a complaint of any kind. And while it was never brought to our attention by management, we deeply regret any disturbance we may have caused at the building.”

“They were using the whole floor like it was an office space,” said Lane Helveston, a Bowie resident who lived on the 31st floor. “They would be in my hallways. There were people roaming around the building who didn’t live there.”

Making matters worse, according to five Bowie residents, was the demeanor of the Bumble staff. One resident reported seeing a Bumble employee — on a conference call in the hallway — shush another resident who was showing her mother the building.

This is what happens when you tell women to be men.

They continue to act like spoiled children – that is the dictionary definition of a woman: “a large spoiled child with breasts” – but just get all aggro about it.

According to several residents, the deluge of complaints put Steve Hunt, then the building’s concierge, in the awkward position of enforcing rules about non-residents’ use of common areas, and acting as Bumble’s de facto doorman.

Since each apartment only came with two key fobs, Hunt had to let Bumble employees into the elevators on a daily basis. According to Hunt, new Bumble employees sometimes turned hostile in the Bowie lobby when he asked them what business they had in the building.

Haha.

How is it possible that they even had the nerve to do all of this, you ask?

Well, because women are taught they can get away with anything.

They have all the powers of men, yet without any of the responsibilities.

At times, according to multiple sources, the lobby seemed to belong to Bumble, with vendors ferrying Topo Chico mineral water and green juice up to the 31st floor and employees testing out new Snapchat filters on residents.

One Bowie resident described an incident in which a Bumble employee asked for his assistance while he was walking through the lobby. As he approached the Bumble employee, she held up her phone and informed him that he was on the “Bumble Kiss Cam,” at which point a second Bumble employee tried to kiss him.

“I said, ‘that’s assault,’” the resident recalled. “That’s completely inappropriate. I’m in a private residence.”

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

BITCH WHAT IN FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU GET UP OUT MY FACE!

Still another source of tension was the parking lot, where residents paid a monthly fee of more than $100 for a space. According to multiple sources, Bumble employees would frequently follow each other into the lot and take paid spots. Hunt, frustrated by having to run interference, started leaving signs in the lot reading “No Bumble Parking” and “Top Code Violators Under 30” with a picture of Wolfe — a mocking reference to the CEO’s inclusion on the Forbes 2017 30 Under 30.

But here’s the fun part.

Who were the heroes of the day, when the management, the city, everyone abandoned the citizens of this building under the principle of “you can’t ever question the behavior of a woman”?

Earlier this month, the conflict between residents, staff, and Bumble spilled out of the building when a former resident enlisted a friend in the notorious and deliberately offensive internet troll group GNAA to fight back. Last Monday, Twitter users reported that the Wikipedia pages for Amazon, Google, and Walmart redirected to a GNAA press release entitled “GNAA Reveals Cause to Evict Bumble from their Corporate Headquarters,” stating that Bumble’s Bowie office was in violation of its lease.

Nevertheless, two weeks ago Bumble moved out of the Bowie.

…

Wednesday, Wolfe offered Hunt, who left the building after it was sold to new management, a sizable gift on behalf of Bumble.

In an Instagram message reviewed by BuzzFeed News, Wolfe wrote to Hunt, “We will be sending you … $1,000 as a thank you for being our front desk manager.”

Wooooow.

$1000.

You know what?

I don’t think that is enough, bitch.

You should have given every single resident of the building $1000, and that poor manager $25,000 for what you put them through.

But like everyone who has ever worked in the service industry is aware (I was a pizza delivery driver), women tip terribly.

Basically, although GNAA got the sluts out of the building, they did not suffer any consequences at all for their actions.

While it was obviously illegal, they didn’t get fined.

Because they are women.

Imagine an all male company doing this same exact thing. Firstly, men obviously wouldn’t ever even think about doing this, but imagine they did.

They would be shut down immediately as soon as what they were doing was known and they would also be fined by the city.

But women just walk all over the society that men built, walk all over us, just shitting on the street like gypsies and leaving bloody tampons everywhere and expecting men to come clean them up.

Whitney Wolfe is a stupid bitch.

Someone told me this was her phone number.

512-944-5543

I didn’t call to confirm it. So who knows.

I do know that these are all of the email addresses of the team.

You can also try to fuck them. Whitney puts out like a nailgun, I’ve heard. But be careful, because she’ll sue you afterward.

Also, you might want to suggest that she is breaking the social contract by being fat – even if she does have the decency to wear baggy clothes to cover it up.

Cockblocking me on learning about Comey getting cockblocked… irony or simply inexcusable annoyance?

I know that on this topic, I’m really a voice in the wilderness.

But I am calling on Drudge, Google News, Reddit and others to just stop linking to sites where the content is behind paywalls.

You are not linking to a news article – you are linking to an advertisement to purchase a subscription to a useless news site which only has information which is available on other sites.

All this amounts to is an annoyance, an advertisement for these sites’ subscription services from places we go to get the news.

Yes, I know that we can delete cookies or open an incognito window and usually see the article, and if not, try to find it on archive.is, but the fact is, most people are not aware of this fact and even for those who are aware of this fact, it is a pointless annoyance. Everything that is reported in WaPo, WSJ and NYT – the three biggest American paywall perpetrators – is available within hours – or even in an hour – on AP, AFP or Reuters (as well as British papers such as the Daily Mail, The Independent and The Telegraph), which don’t do the paywall game.

cockblock internet security

Don’t cockblock me, bro! Bro! I just want the latest updates on the Russian hacking conspiracy, bro, don’t cockblock me!

Also, please never again link to Forbes, which has that spam pop-up with the “quote of the day” and a big ad (I assume – I block ads) on every article. It’s disgusting and shameful.

Bitch nothing was ever interesting about you that doesn’t start with the letters “t” or “a,” and I don’t care about you meaningless thoughts. I just want to know about Dubai’s robot cops. But oh, lookie here, The Telegraph has the same story without a cockblocking feminist quote and a demand I turn off my adblocker.

If these companies can’t make it with their private funding and advertisements, then they deserve to drown.

And I have a right to say that – I run a website that exists only on private funding. And we are continuing to expand, which is why Jews are forced to launch anti-free speech lawsuits against us.

Cloudflare analytics was down that one day, not us.

If we had the opportunities that WaPo, WSJ and NYT have as far as advertisements, we would we bigger than they are. I would buy the NYT building and install a swastika on the front of it by 2020.

At this rate, I will not own the NYT building until first quarter 2030, when I will be 45-year-old.

By that time, the 620 Eighth Avenue neo-post-modernist building will be even more dated than it is now (it was dated when it was built).

At least we’re going to remove whatever the hell that weird grating thing is from the front of it, and replace it with a gigantic neon-light style swastika on the front of it, covering up most of the tacky, cheap-looking design of the building itself.

Something along these lines:

Oh how I wish it was the old West 43rd Street Times building I was obligated to buy.

But alas – it is not so.

In order to make my important point, it is the Eighth Avenue building I must purchase.

Fortunately, we are going to be able to do more with the interior, which is currently absolutely fucking disgusting.

When I take control, it is going to be decked-out like the historic Ohio Theatre, designed by the genius architect Thomas W. Lamb and completed in 1928, fully restored to its original glory in 1969, and which I remember so well visiting as a boy.

We’re doing a brilliant combination of art deco and classic Persian carpeting, Greco-Roman pillars, intricate Victorian iron railings, hand-painted plaster molding, chandeliers, Neo-Victorian furniture, the whole bit.

The one thing I will save is the courtyard, which I do like, though it will be decked out to include bronze statues of Hitler, Jesus, George Washington and Dylann Roof.

It’s going to be a big project, but one which I eagerly look forward to.

Until the company inevitably collapses though, please stop propping them up by linking to their “pay us on the internet” ads as if you were linking to an actual news article.

British Airways Computer Systems Outage Blamed on IT Outsourcing to India! https://www.anglinarchive.com/2017/05/29/british-airways-computer-systems-outage-blamed-on-it-outsourcing-to-india/ Mon, 29 May 2017 00:00:00 +0000 Lee Rogers

British Airways employees are blaming inexperienced IT staff from India for the systems failure!

We are learning more about the British Airways computer system failure that has impacted roughly 300,000 passengers and cost them hundreds of millions of dollars.

At first the systems outage was blamed on a possible cyber attack. Those reports turned out to be false.

Other reports claimed that some type of power failure that brought their systems down.

Now there are people inside the company blaming upper management for outsourcing their information technology department to inexperienced staff in India. The mud monkeys didn’t know how to launch the back up system! lol

The Sun:

THE British Airways boss is alleged to have tried to “gag staff” over the IT meltdown which hit 300,000 passengers – as inexperienced staff in India didn’t know how to launch the back up system, it has been claimed.

The airline’s check-in and operational systems crashed on Saturday and saw thousands of people trying to travel on Bank Holiday weekend left stranded.

And boss Alex Cruz has been blamed for the disaster, but it is now claimed he tried to stop staff talking about the problems experienced after outsourcing staff to India.

In an email to staff obtained by the Daily Mail, he wrote: “Guys, either you are part of the team working to fix this or you aren’t. We are not in the mode of ‘debriefing on what happened’ but rather ‘let’s fix this mode’.”

Adding: “In the meantime, if you do not want to get involved or cannot get involved, I would kindly ask you to refrain from live commentary, unless it is a message of support to the thousands of colleagues that love BA as much as you do.”

Yesterday passengers were pictured sleeping rough at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports and queuing outside in their thousands – with the airline’s “inexperienced” boss now getting the blame.

The chief executive, who founded budget carrier Clickair and ran airline Vueling before moving to work for British Airways in 2016, has been accused of replacing British IT professionals with cheap overseas workers since taking the role.

And GMB union bosses say that this move may have led to this weekend’s chaos – a whistle-blower even claimed bosses knew about the “dodgy” systems.

Apparently British Airways management thought that they could save a few shekels by outsourcing the maintenance and support of their critical IT infrastructure to India. What they failed to realize is that you get what you pay for.

Why would any company outsource their IT department to a primitive country where half the population defecates in the open? The entire premise is insane.

Throughout the West, there are numerous companies run by idiot boomer types who think they can get the same quality of technology support by hiring Indians. That’s because they’ve bought into this false world view that race doesn’t exist and we are all equal. These are obvious lies.

British Airways would have been much better off paying more money to have competent White men run and maintain their systems. Quite frankly, it is insane that they didn’t do this. These systems represent the life blood of their organization. You need to have people who know what they’re doing when shit hits the fan.

As a side note, it is curious that there was no contingency plan to handle a systems outage like this. The fact that they did not have one reflects poor leadership and management within the company. Technology is not fool proof. There should have been some type of operational backup plan that would have allowed the company to continue operations in the case of a major systems failure.

This whole situation has been a disaster for British Airways. Hopefully this will show other companies that outsourcing IT staff to a third world country is not a good idea. I’m not holding my breath that any of these fools will get the message though.

In the ongoing saga of keeping this site online, we have now a bit more trouble.  Apparently, people are getting randomly blocked from reading/posting as a result of some behavior of the Cloudflare defense system.

I have a call in to get this worked out, but it could take a bit of time, so just so no one gets upset and/or confused, I am here announcing that no one is ever banned from viewing the site, and very few are ever banned from commenting, so if you are being told you’re banned, it is because of this glitch.

The good news is it seems that waiting a few minutes and reloading allows you back on the site.  I was myself banned, and it just had me enter a captcha.  If it doesn’t give you that option, just wait two to five minutes and reload.

And again, the bulk of it should be cleared up soon enough, though I suspect it will still happen sometimes, as there is no perfect way of determining what is good and what is bad traffic.

You can help speed up this process by sending me the following information if you get blocked by Cloudflare:

lol I don’t even know what this is.

Other Things

Speaking of Cloudflare, I want to remind the people that costs have recently gone up to deal with these attacks, and donations have not gone up to cover the difference.  So please, if you appreciate what we’re doing here, consider donating one time or signing up for a monthly subscription.  I hate asking, but it seems if I don’t, people forget or think we don’t need it.  We definitely do need it.  And every little bit helps.  If every person who reads daily donated a dollar a month, I would not only be secure but in fact rich.  But that doesn’t happen.  So don’t assume that others will donate if you don’t.

Unlike every other news site, both alternative and mainstream, we do not have ads.  We also have may fewer contributors than other sites.  And yet in my opinion, and presumably yours as well, we do a better job than any of the other news sites on the web.  It’s a whole lot of work, which I surely don’t mind, but it is nice to not have to worry about the bills every week.

Though I am happy for them, I was a bit disappointed in our own readers when I saw that VDARE has just raised nearly $30,000 in a donation drive.

Maybe I need more pictures of babies or more threats to shut down.

VDARE has less than ten percent of the traffic we have, yet they are clearly getting much more than ten times the donations we get.

Granted, I would never even consider holding the site for ransom or threaten to shut it down if I didn’t get more cash (not insulting VDARE, I obviously support them, just saying I wouldn’t do that), but it seems like the amount of traffic should really equal a higher amount of donations.

But maybe this site is mainly read by people who hate me personally for some reason, yet still believe it is a very good site and read it every day.

Basically, every "White Nationalist" who has ever written hate mail to me, attacking me as a person, claiming I am some secret agent or Jew because of my jacket or whatever, has also said they read the site daily.

Anyway, whatever.  It’s up to you guys.  Like I say, I’m not going to shut the site down because of a lack of funds, the worst thing that could happen would be that I would have to work on it less in order to produce an income to cover the costs.

I don’t do this for money, so even if I had to pay for everything myself, I would keep on running it.  I do this for love alone.  The donations simply make it much easier for me to focus on this most important of tasks.

Forgive me then, I just needed to vent a bit.
