This is possibly an important case.

If the white man wins, it could mean that while the Civil Rights Act says you are forced to hire infinity brown people (and women and trannies), you are not actually allowed to fire white men in order to replace them with diversity.

The Civil Rights Act is a disaster, and totally nullifies basic Constitutional rights, but if it is taken literally, it probably means you’re not allowed to fire white men based on the fact they are white men.

Reuters:

IBM is accused in a new lawsuit of forcing out a high-performing white consultant in order to further the company’s goals of building a more diverse workforce.

The lawsuit filed late Tuesday, opens new tab in Grand Rapids, Michigan, federal court is the latest from America First Legal, a conservative group founded by ex-Trump administration officials, to claim that corporate diversity policies violate federal anti-discrimination laws.

Plaintiff Randall Dill says he was placed on a performance improvement plan in July 2023 despite receiving only positive feedback in his seven years as a senior managing consultant at IBM. The plan was impossible to complete and Dill was fired last October, according to the complaint.

Dill says IBM had race and sex quota systems that guided hiring and promotion decisions and that it based executives’ bonuses in part on whether they had met those goals, giving them a strong incentive to push out white men like him.

“Plaintiff suffered significant damages, including lost wages, loss of professional and career development opportunities, and significant non-economic injuries, including humiliation, embarrassment, and loss of reputation,” Dill’s lawyers wrote in the complaint.

IBM in a statement said it does not use hiring quotas and never has.

“These allegations are baseless, as neither race nor gender played any role in the decision to end this individual’s employment with IBM,” the company said.

The fact that they claim they weren’t doing quotas means they don’t know what the law is yet either.

No one does. No one has been able to figure out whether or not the Civil Rights Act allows for white men to be fired because they are white men.

The lawsuit accuses IBM of race and sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bars workplace discrimination, and Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, which prohibits race discrimination in contracts.

America First Legal has made similar claims against a slew of major companies, including in about two dozen complaints seeking investigations by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The US Constitution ended with Lincoln. This is the fact. People sound like kooks when they say that, because we obviously had some good years after the 1950s, but the fact of reality is that “civil rights” are not compatible with the Constitution, and any good years we had as a country after the Constitution was abolished by Lincoln were just a matter of luck.

Yep…

Walmart Stops Asking for College Degrees for Hundreds of Corporate Jobs https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/10/06/walmart-stops-asking-for-college-degrees-for-hundreds-of-corporate-jobs/ Fri, 06 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000

It’s funny.

All these companies supported “woke,” now they’re being forced to destroy themselves by hiring a bunch of moronic brutes.

Daily Mail:

Walmart has eliminated college degrees as a requirement for hundreds of its corporate roles.

The retail giant said last week that it would get rid of ‘unnecessary barriers’ that prevent career advancement, and that job applicants would start seeing updated job descriptions next year.

Walmart said it will waive the need for a university degree if candidates can show they have gained the necessary skills through alternative prior experience.

‘While degrees should be part of the equation and in some cases even required, there are many roles where a degree is simply unnecessary, including at corporate headquarters,’ a blog post from the retailer read.

The move is part of a wider trend in the US jobs market. American companies like IBM, Accenture and Google have announced measures to reduce the number of jobs that require degrees.

‘The fact that a company like Walmart is taking these steps really underscores the fact that this is a movement that has significant traction,’ Maria Flynn, president of the Boston-based nonprofit Jobs for the Future, told Forbes.

Lorraine Stomski, a senior vice president for associate learning and leadership at Walmart, told Forbes the transition was spurred by a changing job landscape and the rise of artificial intelligence.

She noted that historically Walmart ‘would create a job description based on what credentials were needed, which was a combination of some skills [with] a heavy emphasis on the credential needed.’

She gave the example of cyber security analyst as the type of role that would historically have required a degree.

Now she is seeing a shift in employees working on ‘majority college credentials to now more short-form stackable certificates for high-demand roles.’

Those certificates might take nine to 12 months to complete as opposed to the two to four years that college degrees usually require.

Industry certifications in subjects such as technical support, cloud technology and data analysis have become increasingly popular in recent years.

‘We’ve used degrees as proxies for skills that have, frankly, been weak proxies,’ Julie Gehrki, vice president of philanthropy for Walmart.org said.

‘Moving to a skills-based system is saying we actually need to be more granular than this. We need to recognize the specific pieces of skills people have. They need to be validated in some way.’

Why?

Why do they need to be “validated”?

Why would validating people be the job of a for-profit company?

Of course, it’s possible the blacks will do better than the millennial women these companies have been hiring.

Probably, if I had a company, I would prefer to pull some illiterate nigga from da hood over a college-educated millennial woman.

Women were always much less competent than men.

Not sure why they’re surprised to find they’re less competent than robots.

RT:

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) expects to cut nearly 8,000 jobs in the coming years and replace them with AI, the CEO of the US tech giant, Arvind Krishna, has told Bloomberg.

In an interview published on Tuesday, Krishna said the company plans to slow or completely suspend hiring for back-office functions such as human resources, noting that these non-customer-facing roles currently amount to nearly 26,000 workers.

“I could easily see 30% of that getting replaced by AI and automation over a five-year period,” Krishna said, suggesting that AI-induced job cuts could affect some 7,800 workers.

An IBM spokesperson also told the news agency that the company doesn’t currently intend to fire any people filling these roles, but pointed out that any jobs vacated by attrition would no longer be refilled.

In an emailed comment to Business Insider, another spokesperson for the tech giant also explained that there is “no blanket hiring ‘pause’ in place” and that IBM is “being deliberate and thoughtful in our hiring with a focus on revenue-generating roles.” The spokesperson added that the company is being “very selective when filling jobs that don’t directly touch our clients or technology,” noting that IBM is still actively hiring for thousands of positions.

HR was always a totally vaginal concept.

If men actually needed this sort of thing, it would be called “The Bro Department” and every meeting would begin with “what’s going on, bro?”

Black People to Save IBM https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/05/24/black-people-to-save-imb/ Tue, 24 May 2022 00:00:00 +0000

IBM is running an ad on Twitter about “new creators” It has a black guy.

We need to tap into that untapped potential of the blacks.

To be fair, it’s an ad for programming in Ghana, so it’s logical the person is black.

But why are they running ads about Ghana? I don’t live in Ghana.

Is the idea that I’m supposed to develop warm feelings towards IBM because they are teaching Africans to program?

What about my life and my problems?

IBM made the concentration camp database systems for the Nazis, making them the most qualified for the Moslem registry. But we can settle for someone else.

If we’re ever going to deport all these Moslems, we’ll need to know who they are and where they live. As such, a registry containing this information would be an excellent step to take.

It seems the regressive dinosaurs at IBM and Microsoft have yet to realize that it’s the current year, and are clinging on to outdated liberal sentimentalism about “muh values.”

The Hill:

Spokespeople from Microsoft and IBM say that their companies would not help create a registry of Muslims in the United States, an idea floated by President-elect Donald Trump.

“We’ve been clear about our values. We oppose discrimination and we wouldn’t do any work to build a registry of Muslim Americans,” spokesman Frank X. Shaw told BuzzFeed on Thursday in response to their questions.

Microsoft spies on everyone equally. How progressive.

IBM also expressly rejected a registry, with a spokesperson telling The Hill on Saturday, “IBM would not work on this hypothetical project.”

“Our company has long-standing values and a strong track record of opposing discrimination against anyone on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation or religion. That perspective has not changed, and never will,” the spokesperson said.

No, but seriously, who do these people think they are? As if we’d need Microsoft or IBM to set up some database. It’s not a particularly complicated problem to solve. There are easily hundreds if not thousands of US companies which could do it.

I mean, some random guy could probably make a halfway decent system from his mom’s basement, just by compiling publicly available information.

At worse, we’ll have to set up some Nazi AI to do the job.

Are these corporations trying to demoralize people by making these statements? Or are their PR departments just filled with virtue signaling cucks?

Either way, it’s not particularly wise to spite the incoming administration of the US government.

I would have loved a IBM punch-card system though. Sigh.
