Authorities in Germany have begun withdrawing gun ownership licenses from Alternative for Germany (AfD) members, who are deemed a “danger to public safety.”

So far, five AfD members have received a notice that their gun license would be revoked, while another member voluntarily returned his license after a revocation procedure was initiated. Another 51 cases are currently being examined by authorities, according to data released by the Saxony-Anhalt Interior Ministry in response to a request for information from the Left Party.

Hunters and sport shooters will also have their gun licenses canceled by authorities. In total, there are 74 members of the AfD in Saxony-Anhalt that hold a firearms license, with 49 registered as sport shooters and 25 as hunters.

The revocation of gun licenses comes after the Office of the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Germany’s powerful domestic intelligence agency, classified the AfD as “certainly right-wing extremist.” With this designation, AfD members suddenly faced a litany of problems. For one, authorities could spy on their communications without any warrant; however, authorities could also seize their firearms, and members could also face issues with government employment.

The efforts to disarm AfD members won praise from the Left Party’s parliamentary group leader Eva von Angern.

“The first revocation notices show that, after individual examination, these people pose a threat to public safety,” she said to German news outlet Mitteldeutsche Zeitung.

As Remix News has reported in the past, the BfV has also been active designating the AfD as an extremist threat in other states such as North Rhine-Westphalia, where gun owners are also under threat of having their firearms taken away from them.

A pro-foxhunting group says it has prepared a legal case to try to prove that hunters are an ethnic minority whose hunts should be protected under equality laws.

Ed Swales, the chair of Hunting Kind, claims he has been advised by a leading human rights lawyer that hunters unequivocally qualify for legal protection under the UK Equality Act 2010.

He said he had spent three years preparing a legal challenge that had now been reviewed by a human rights KC “who sits on the council of the European court of human rights”.

Swales said: “The outcome of that from the human rights silk is that as a protected minority group under the Equality Act, we qualify, undoubtedly 10 out of 10.”

He said the group would try to mount legal challenges to prove that those who support hunting have suffered discrimination such as losing work or contracts, or been abused on social media. If successful, such action would give hunters the same protection as minority groups such as the Roma community or LGBTQ+ groups.

Swales accused “the animal rights extremist movement” of launching “a person-on-person conflict” against hunters under “the excuse of animal welfare”.

The former Labour minister Mike Foster said the group had lost the plot. He wrote on X: “‘Show me an example of people who have lost the plot,’ the hunt lobby never fail to disappoint.”

He added: “Animal rights unfortunately are coming at it from a very uneducated and anthropomorphic point of view, and they’re blinkered to what we see as rural reality and wildlife management reality. And they’re also deaf. They don’t want to listen.”

Germany’s Green Party has been hit with accusations of “causing damage” in Africa and acting as though Namibian citizens “can’t think for themselves” over plans to ban the import of hunting trophies.

The row broke out when Green Environment Minister Steffi Lemke began campaigning for the ban, describing the import of trophies as “absurd.” Similar bans are also being considered in Britain and elsewhere in Europe.

Lemke has complained about the hunting of animals “facing extinction,” prompting Namibian officials to stress that hunting is, in fact, a key part of conservation.

This is true and the point has been done to death.

We certainly understand this in the midwest of the US, where if you didn’t hunt deer, they would completely destroy the forests by eating every single bit of green on the ground.

We eliminated wolves in the area, which is good because it protects livestock (and small children who wander off), but it means we have to play the role the wolves used to play and limit the deer population.

The African nation’s environment minister, Pohamba Shifeta, told German newspaper Bild that trophy hunting takes place under strict international guidelines, adding that, if Germany were to make this “impossible,” this would be “an illegal, neo-colonial interference that runs counter to the international legal situation.”

Officials in its neighbouring country, Botswana, have threatened to send 20,000 elephants to Germany in protest against potential trophy import bans, which are being discussed despite an overpopulation of the mammal. (Its leaders say the country is home to around 130,000 elephants.)

Insisting that the promise of this ‘gift’ was “no joke,” President Mokgweetsi Masisi said the elephants should be allowed to “roam freely” like they would in Botswana.

Even the European Commission last year accepted that, so long as it is “well-regulated,” trophy hunting “can deliver benefits for both wildlife conservation and for the livelihoods and wellbeing of indigenous people and local communities living with wildlife.”

Masisi has warned that elephant overpopulation has become so bad that crops and even villages are being desecrated by the creatures. Germany’s Federal Ministry for the Environment said Lemke has “signaled that she will accept Botswana’s invitation if an opportunity arises” to inspect the country’s conservation efforts.

They don’t even need to do anything to “conserve” elephants. They are everywhere in Botswana, like a plague of very large insects.

Banning trophy hunting is probably the worst thing you can do if you actually actually care about conservation.

The only reason the blacks tolerate living around lions and tigers and bears (and elephants) is that they make money out of hunting, lots of money.

Take that away, and the locals will just wipe most of them out very quickly, because all of these animals are an annoyance.

Further: safaris are not a valid alternative, because not only do they make less money, but there’s a limit to how many people you can bring there before it starts affecting the wildlife. Hunters do not make a big mess like safaris do, they don’t disrupt the environment. They move through the forest trying to be as undetected as possible.

White women are totally driven by emotions, and they believe stupid hoaxes about conservation, which are decades old. The blacks were doing the logical thing in wiping out these animals that cause so many problems for crops and for villages, before it turned out that white people were willing to go on hunting trips, at which point the blacks decided there was a good reason to keep these animals around.

We see racists talking about how “blacks destroy the environment.” They actually don’t do that. The number one destroyer of the environment in Africa are Western companies going there to mine rare earth minerals to make “green” technology.

If you want to save the environment in Africa, stop subsidizing electric cars. Stop it with the windmills and solar panels. Go back to normal sources of energy.

The animals are fine as long as the blacks have a reason not to kill them all. Big game hunting is the main reason.

A Montana woman has sparked disgusted outrage after she took to social media to proudly display the carcass of a Siberian husky she killed in a hunt and skinned — after mistaking it for a wolf pup.

Amber Rose, of Miller City, posted the graphic images on Facebook showing her clutching a rifle and grinning as she holds up the animal’s remains.

“So this morning I set out for a solo predator hunt for a fall black bear however I got the opportunity to take another predator wolf pup 2022 was a great feeling to text my man and say I just smoked a wolf pup. #firstwolf #onelesspredatorMT,” Rose wrote.

Her post sparked immediate backlash by animal lovers, who pointed out that the animal she slaughtered was not a baby wolf.

“Amber Rose here hunted, shot, AND SKINNED a HUSKY.. not a wolf, an obvious #HUSKY,” one furious Twitter user pointed out.

Another user seethed that “this woman is bragging about trapping, killing, and skinning a dog while claiming it’s wolf pup. This is very clearly a Siberian Husky … I hope that @MontanaFWP looks into this.”

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office released a statement saying it had been contacted by someone who reported picking up “several husky and shepherd mix dogs” in the area of Doris Creek in the Flathead National Forest.

Portuguese officials have expressed outrage at the massacre of more than 500 deer and wild boar in a hunting zone in the centre of the country.

Environment Minister João Fernandes said the killing by 16 Spanish hunters was “vile” and an “environmental crime” that should be prosecuted.

Pictures of the slaughter were shared on social media.

Hunting individual animals is allowed but in this incident most of the zone’s deer population are said to have died.

The killing is thought to have taken place on a farm in the Torrebela tourist hunting zone, near Azambuja, about 40km (24 miles) from the Portuguese capital Lisbon on 17 and 18 December.

The 1,100ha (2,700-acre) farm is described as being walled in, meaning that the 540 animals had no means of escape from their killers.

That’s about 4 square miles.

Just so you understand: hunting isn’t really that big of a thing in Europe, like it is in America. This is a hunting zone, for recreational hunting. It is total easy mode, because these deer and pigs are just locked in this small area. Presumably, most people rent their rifles from an on site facility. What you’re supposed to do is go in, shoot one animal, and take your selfies, then I assume there’s an attached facility where you can drop your kill off and have it hanged and cut. I assume they will probably even do the field dressing for you. You can come back later and pick up the chopped meat, and cook it at home, feeling like a serious wild man who remains untamed by domestic society.

It’s just a fun thing for people who aren’t really hunters to do over a weekend.

Apparently, these men went in and acted like this was a game to see who can get the high score, and just killed everything. They actually took pictures of themselves with the massacred animals as if they ddin’t have any idea what this implies, and thought they were just big time winners.

I’ve spent a lot of time with hunters, and though the left tends to despise them, I’ve found that hunters care more about the environment than any absurd urban leftist. Although they tend to be right-wing otherwise, hunters are regularly involved in nature preservation movements. They have a high respect for animals and nature.

Slaughtering a bunch of animals in an enclosed space is not “hunting,” it is just a cruel massacre.

One must ask: why would anyone do something like this? The answer, likely, is that these men have become unhinged due to the lockdowns and the general collapse of society, and they are now doing weird, wacky, sadistic acts.

We’ve seen a lot of this “man comes unglued and goes nuts” stuff happening lately. But an organized act of specific cruelty is new. You’re probably going to start seeing more such behavior, where unhinged men get together in a group to carry out specific, cruel and strange acts. You could end up with teams of lunatics attacking humans for reasons of cruelty and sadism.

What is clear is that the media does not care about the link between the lockdowns and this steadily rising extreme and violent mental illness.

Liberals are totally incapable of processing any kind of information that does not fit into very specific boxes in their brains, even when the thing is as plain as the nose on a Jew’s face.

Liberals believe that hunting is evil because animals are people. Also, even though they are urbanite scum of the earth, liberals support environmentalism because they think trees are people.

A big game shooter who proudly posed with the dead carcasses of giraffes, elephants and rhinos has been hired to be a state government conservationist.

Jewell Crossberg was recently appointed acting district manager of the Western Australian Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions in Esperance, on the state’s south coast.

A Facebook album titled ‘business and pleasure’ has surfaced showing Mr Crossberg standing over dead giraffes, rhinos and zebras he’s shot at South African game reserve in 2010.

In one photo, Mr Crossberg kneels down next to the corpse of a giraffe with a rifle in one hand.

The head of the dead animal rests over his knee while Mr Crossberg smiles for the camera.

Mr Crossberg is also seen posing with a dead zebra in one photo, and grinning behind a felled elephant in another one.

The album has since sparked outrage and calls have been made for Mr Crossberg to be removed from his role in the conservation department.

Mr Crossberg will be acting as the Parks and Wildlife manager in Esperance where he will be responsible for looking after the wildlife and natural assets in the district.

Though an online petition has called for him to be removed from the position.

‘A man for sees [sic] no issue with hunting endangered and threatened species should not be in a role protecting Australia’s native flora and fauna, as he clearly lacks the judgement to do so, despite the photos being taken at a South African Hunting lodge, where such hunts are legal,’ the petition reads.

The petition quotes a letter from concerned citizens of Esperance, calling for immediate action against Mr Crossberg.

‘We the citizens of Esperance are very concerned about the recent appointment of Jewell Crossberg,’ the letter reads.

‘We think the director Jason Foster has made a very bad judgement call.

‘We are so disappointed to see Mr Crossberg is not a true conservationist and shouldn’t be in a position of this standing.’

“Crossberg” is the funniest name. Every time you see “berg” in a name, you think, “is this person Jewish?” But with that one it’s like, “oh wait, lol.”

Big game hunting is whatever. I don’t necessarily support it. Ever since I read a biography of Ernest Hemingway, I’ve thought that it was the kind of thing people who have issues with their masculinity do to boost their self-esteem. I can of course totally see wanting to go hunt in Africa, but specifically going to these parks to kill specific large animals seems a bit weak. But I don’t think it’s a big deal if people want to go do it. They are not endangering anything. That is a goofy meme from Captain Planet or something. These animals are the property of the parks that house them, and the blacks are going to kill them and sell them if you don’t pay to shoot them.

This all having been said, I would never question the love for nature of anyone who would go do this.

More Americans are turning to hunting during the coronavirus pandemic — and amid fears of nationwide food shortages after meat plants were forced to halt operations over outbreaks.

“People are starting to consider self-reliance and where their food comes from,” Hank Forester of Quality Deer Management Association said, adding that he believes there will be a hunting resurgence over empty grocery store shelves.

Outbreaks have recently caused at least three major meat producers — Tyson Foods, JBS USA and Smithfield Foods — to shutter more than a dozen plants across the nation.

Meanwhile, some states have seen a jump in hunting licenses — including Indiana, where there was a 28% increase in turkey hunting license sales during the first week of the season.

Game and fish agencies from Minnesota to New Mexico have seen an increase in either hunting license sales or permit applications.

Nina Stafford, a building contractor from Fayetteville, Georgia, killed her first deer in January, but has come to see hunting as a viable alternative if stores are hit with shortages over the closures.

“The coronavirus has only made me want to go and do it more so that I don’t have that scared feeling of where’s my next meal going to come from,” said 42-year-old Stafford, who also grows vegetables and fruit.

David Elliot, an emergency manager at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos, New Mexico, said he began to consider big game hunting when the virus hit the US back in January and applied for a permit to hunt elk.

“I understand some people might be driven by like antlers or some sort of glory. I don’t want to do that,” Elliot, 37, said.

A 32-year-old Georgia man was charged after fatally shooting a teenage hunting partner he mistook for a deer, police said.

Hector Romero-Hernandez was booked into the Glynn County Detention Center on Monday, Oct. 7 on charges that include hunting with an unlawful weapon, misuse of a firearm resulting in serious bodily harm to another, and hunting without a license, according to the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office.

Bobby Lane, 17, was in an area of heavy foliage on Sept. 28 when another hunter thought he was animal and shot him, the Glynn County Police Department said at the time.

Metallica frontman James Hetfield left California over the “elitist” attitudes of progressives, he revealed during a recent interview.

Speaking on the Joe Rogan Podcast Friday, Hetfield discussed how his family relocated to Colorado after becoming disillusioned with the judgmental mindset in the Bay Area.

“I kind of got sick of the Bay Area, the attitudes of the people there, a little bit,” Hetfield said. “They talk about how diverse they are, and things like that, and it’s fine if you’re diverse like them. But showing up with a deer on the bumper doesn’t fly in Marin County. My form of eating organic doesn’t vibe with theirs.”

The musician also said that anyone with the slightest difference in political opinion was “looked down upon” by the community as well.

“I felt that there was an elitist attitude there — that if you weren’t their way politically, their way environmentally, all of that, that you were looked down upon,” Hetfield said.

The heavy metal icon went on to state that his new neighbors in Vail, Colorado, were much more tolerant and supportive of those with differing opinions.
