A man has issued a warning to people walking around the city centre at night after he was “punched in the face for his wallet”.

Reegan Fell, 19, was “really shaken up” by the attack, which happened close to Liddell Street park at around 9.30pm on Monday.

The teenager had been walking with a friend, 18, when he was accosted by a man who ordered Reegan to hand over his wallet.

Reegan refused and was then beaten with a volley of cruel punches and kicks as he “curled up in a ball” to stop the man getting hold of his iPhone,.

His attacker, who he have never met, did manage to steal his wallet.

Reegan said: “It happened at about George Street park 9.30pm. I was with my mate and this guy just came up to me and told me to empty my pockets.

“I said something like ‘what you on about’ and he squared up to me and punched me a few times and dropped to the floor.

“He then started kicking me on the floor and had my iPhone hidden to the floor and he got my wallet out of my pocket.

“He nicked my bank card and took £350. I thought if he took my bank card then I could cancel it quick, but he’d already withdrawn the money.”

The man did not manage to steal Reegan’s mobile phone, however, the attacker grabbed a mobile phone out of the hand of his friend and also ran off with it.

Nursing his cut face, swollen nose, split lip and chipped teeth, Reegan is now on the mend but says he has been left “paranoid” to leave his home.

Reegan describes his attacker as around 5ft 10ins, of mixed race ethnicity and was wearing a black tracksuit with his hood up.

Humberside Police said that they are investigating the assault.

Another taxi company has got itself into hot water for providing White drivers when the passengers request it.

Yet 35 taxis from Hull are only doing the same as every other business that provides a legal product to the consumer – White people have not yet been made illegal in their own country.

Local councillor Rosie Nicola has condemned the firm, saying that it sends out ‘a very sad message.’

So if White people do not want to put their children at risk of being groomed, drugged and raped by non-Whites that is a ‘sad’ message to send?

If White people want to spend their money on other White people and support their own people that is ‘sad’?

Why should they be forced to buy something they do not want, that carries a high risk with it, when what they do want is available?

This is nothing less than discrimination against White people and an attempt to force them or their children into a potentially dangerous situation.

Taxi firm owner Gary Wilkinson said: ‘You cannot stop customers making requests.

‘We will try to send a white, British driver, if we are asked, but we do tell our customers we can’t always guarantee it.’

Mr Wilkinson insisted his company was not discriminating and said he had 25 drivers of non-white, British origin who all did ‘a fantastic job’.

He added: ‘I am totally against racism of any kind. I am married to an Arabic woman and our children are mixed-race.

‘A customer may have had a bad experience with a coloured driver in the past.

‘Maybe they have felt a driver has ripped them off. Some people will then say, “I only want a white British driver”.

‘It’s racist, because these people are not ringing up the next day saying don’t send me a white driver if they happen to think a white driver has overcharged them.’

Wayne Harrison, owner of rival firm 50 Taxis, claimed up to one in five of all his customers also demand a white British driver – but he refuses to oblige them.

He said: ‘Customers will ring you up and say “Don’t send me a…” They’ll then use a racist word.

‘We don’t give them a choice. We will send a car. It’s up to them if they get in or not.’

He said he employs 50 drivers, including four or five who are not white British and added: ‘They are super workers.

‘They just want to earn a living.’

The Equality Act 2010 makes it unlawful for an employer to discriminate against employees because of race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin.

However, there is no suggestion private-hire companies who respond to customers’ requests are breaking the law.

Councillor Rosie Nicola is the Hull City Council’s cabinet member for equality and community cohesion.

She said: ‘I find it really sad that people in Hull are ringing up our taxi companies making these kinds of demands.

‘It’s a really sad message to be sending out that people aren’t happy with someone based simply on the colour of their skin.

‘If someone doesn’t want to get into a taxi driven by someone with a different skin colour, make them wait in the cold.’

So at least 20% of all the people calling for taxis are asking for White drivers, yet instead of sending them, a rival taxi firm is refusing to serve them.

If anyone refused to serve a faggot or a non-White, they would soon be up in court having their business taken from them.

A foreign sex offender has been allowed to remain in Britain because of his “right to family life” with his two young children, even though they are about to be adopted.

Judges ruled that Vincent Gnanasiri Cyril, from Sri Lanka, had proved a human rights case to avoid being deported – and that it was “entirely legitimate” for him to stay here even though the children will have no contact with him when they are placed with a new family.

Campaigners said Cyril’s case showed how Labour’s Human Rights Act had “warped the moral compass of our justice system” and “piles farce on top of tragedy”.

Cyril, 44, a Sri Lankan who arrived in Britain as an illegal immigrant in 1998, was jailed for 12 months in February 2007 after going on a spree of sexual assaults.

He indecently assaulted three women and a man when he was “very drunk”, the Upper Tribunal Immigration and Asylum Chamber said.

His crime meant that he was liable for “automatic deportation” under rules which state that any foreign national jailed for 12 months or more must be considered for removal from Britain.

The offender was forbidden from returning to the family home after he was released from jail in July 2007.

But he maintained contact with his family and in early 2009 was allowed to move back into the family home in Hull with his wife, known as ‘N’, and their two daughters, known only as ‘C’ and ‘V’, who were born in 2004 and 2008.

In early 2011 the children had to be taken into emergency police protection because of the effect their mother’s mental health was having on her ability to care for them.

A MAN convicted of racially aggravated harassment, after subjecting his neighbours to a campaign of abuse, has been given a suspended jail sentence.

Fidel Lamonth, 47, became embroiled in a dispute with other residents in Tattershall Close, off Beverley Road, Hull.

In January and February the arguments escalated, which led to Lamonth calling a family next door white b******* and white w******.

Lamonth was found guilty of racially aggravated harassment without violence at Hull Magistrates’ Court last month, following a summary trial.

A man pinned his girlfriend down and raped her in front of their baby son, and told her she must obey him because he was a Muslim, a court was told.

The Mail has decided not to identify the rapist, who is in his early 20s, so his relationship with his victim can be revealed.

She was 16 when they met, but he began beating her three months into the relationship and raped her at her home in Hull in May last year.

The victim, who gave evidence at Hull Crown Court via video link, said she had not reported the rape at the time because she did not understand such a thing could happen in a relationship.

“I didn’t understand it was rape at the time,” she said. “I didn’t understand until I told a friend.”

She later said: “I thought rape was to go outside and somebody grabs you.”

Defence barrister Mumin Hashim said she must have been traumatised by the attack.

“I was,” she said. “I was really scared and I was hurt inside. Not physically, it broke my heart because I didn’t think he would do that.”

After the rape, which lasted between 20 and 30 minutes, the man kissed her, told her he loved her, and fell asleep, while she got up to see to the baby, who was crying.

The rapist, who now lives in Buckinghamshire, was also convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm after repeatedly banging his partner’s head against the dashboard of a car.

He was also convicted of two other assaults on her.

The court was told that while the teenager was pregnant with their son, he was thousands of miles away marrying his cousin in an arranged marriage in South Asia.

When he returned, he settled in Buckinghamshire and began fortnightly visits to his son and partner in Hull, during which time he also got another woman in Buckinghamshire pregnant.

Mr Hashim asked why, after having time to reflect on the relationship, the victim did not seek help.

She replied with four words: “Young and scared. Immature.”

In tearful evidence, she said despite knowing about his marriage to another woman, she still hoped he would come back to have a normal family life with her and their child.

She said: “I just wanted him to come back because I wanted my little boy to have what I never had, which was a mum and a dad.”

The victim’s mother told the court why she thought her daughter had not ended the relationship sooner.

“She wanted this fairytale story where mummy and daddy were together,” said the victim’s mother. “I told her it wasn’t always like that.”

Outlining the victim’s evidence at the start of the case, Michele Stuart-Lofthouse, prosecuting, described how the man “became violent, hitting her and telling her he was a Muslim and she should do as she was told.”

Mr Hashim said the only reason the allegations had been made was because the woman feared the man would seek custody of the child.

The man denied ever being violent or abusive towards his victim, and told the court he still loved her.

He was convicted on all counts by a jury and was jailed for a total of five and a half years.

The man was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for life and is also subject to a ten-year restraining order, preventing him from contacting the victim.

Judge Simon Jack told him: “She depended on you and relied on you for affection and support and you took advantage of that to get what you wanted from her and returned little but contempt.”
