A 91-year-old Holocaust survivor died while sheltering from Russian strikes during the siege of Mariupol, her daughter has said.

Vanda Semyonovna Obiedkova died on 4 April while taking cover in a freezing basement without water, in a grim echo of how she had hidden in a basement from the Nazis when she was 10 years old, her daughter Larissa told Chabad.org.

Obiedkova, the second Holocaust survivor known to have died during Russia’s war in Ukraine, “didn’t deserve such a death”, said Larissa, who was with her mother at the time.

Larissa described the conditions in Mariupol as “living like animals”.

“There was no water, no electricity, no heat – and it was unbearably cold,” she said. Her mother was ill and immobile. “Every time a bomb fell, the entire building shook,” Larissa said. “My mother kept saying she didn’t remember anything like this during the Great Patriotic War [second world war].”

When German forces occupied the city in October 1941, Obiedkova avoided capture by hiding in a basement. The Nazis rounded up the city’s Jewish population, including her mother, who was taken and shot, along with the whole of her mother’s family. Nazi forces killed between 9,000 and 16,000 Jews in ditches on the outskirts of Mariupol.

Obiedkova’s father, who wasn’t Jewish, managed to get his daughter admitted to a hospital, where she spent two years after the Nazis were convinced she was Greek and not Jewish. Mariupol was liberated by the Soviet army in September 1943.

Her daughter said a VHS tape of Obiedkova giving an interview in 1998 about her life was destroyed when their home was hit. Larissa and her husband buried her mother in a public park near the Azov Sea.

Boris Romantschenko, another Ukrainian Holocaust survivor, was killed during the current war in March. The 96-year-old had survived a number of Nazi concentration camps, including Buchenwald and Bergen-Belsen, and was killed by an explosion during Russia’s assault on the city of Kharkiv.

Imagine surviving Hitler’s Holocaust only to be killed 80 years later in Putin’s Holocaust.

A Ukrainian man who survived the Nazi Holocaust during World War Two has been killed during a Russian attack on the eastern city of Kharkiv.

Boris Romantschenko, 96, died during Russian shelling of his apartment block on Friday, relatives said.

Russian forces have been relentlessly shelling Kharkiv, which lies just 30 miles (50km) from the border, for over three weeks.

At least 500 civilians have now been killed there, Ukrainian officials say.

Police said one of the victims has been identified as a nine-year old boy.

The Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation said it was “deeply disturbed” by Romantschenko’s death.

The organisation, of which Romantschenko was vice-president, announced the news after being informed by his family and said he had “worked intensely on the memory of Nazi crimes”.

“We mourn the loss of a close friend. We wish his son and granddaughter, who brought us the sad news, a lot of strength in these difficult times,” the foundation’s statement added.

Romantschenko’s death comes more than three weeks after President Vladimir Putin sought to justify his invasion to the Russian people by telling them his goal is to”de-Nazify Ukraine”.

Western leaders have condemned these claims and pointed out that Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is Jewish.

Romantschenko, who was not Jewish, returned to Buchenwald in 2012 to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the liberation of the camp by US troops, where he recited the pledge made by survivors to create “a new world where peace and freedom reign”.

The Nazi regime murdered over six million Jewish people across occupied Europe between 1941 and 1945.

This might trigger more outrage from Israel.

Survivors Anita Lasker-Wallfisch and Maurice Blik have told about their encounters with the ‘nasty piece of work’ in new BBC2 documentary, ‘Belsen: Our Story’, which airs tonight.

Maurice, now 80, was also sent to Auschwitz from his home in Amsterdam at the age of four, and told how Grese would leave her viscous dog guarding scraps of food, hoping that prisoners would attempt to steal it and be ‘torn apart’ by the animal.

That actually, really, literally happened in real life.

He said: ‘I was sitting on the floor by the bunk and this woman walked in with her dog, the guard. She got this big apple she was eating and she’d eaten it down to a fairly juicy core.

‘She took the core and put it on the floor and put the dog next to it to guard it, gave it instructions to guard the thing, unleashed it and runs off.

‘It had the apple core between it’s front legs and it was snarling and growling and so on, but I knew very well I couldn’t make a grab for the apple core because that would be the end of me,  it would literally tear me apart.

Yes, dear, the dog would have masturbated you to death.

‘Then she came back and saw nothing had happened and thought this was amusing and so ground the apple core into the floor with her boots, so there was nothing left their to even scrape up.

‘Many years later I recognized who she was – she was notorious’.

Anita, now 90, was sent to Auschwitz in Nazi-occupied Poland, in 1943, where she survived by playing cello for the camp’s Women’s Orchestra, until she was moved to Belsen in 1944.

By 1945, Soviet troops had began liberating camps in Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe, meaning many SS guards were sent West, to camps in Germany.

Anita told how towards the end of her time at Belsen, Grese began to try and make amends and says she was shocked when all of a sudden began referring to the pair of them as ‘we’.

She said: ‘She’s actually the one, when it was going badly for the Germans,  started talking to me, unheard of.

She said – that I will never forget – she said “Now, we’ll soon be home”. We, suddenly we. We’re in the same group of species.

I’m quite shocked that a Jew openly recognizes that they’re an entirely different species than white people.

‘I thought “My god, things must be going badly for you”. She was trying to make herself room in my heart somehow’.

She scoffed: ‘Such a nice lady. She was such a b*****d.’

If she was that unscrupulously evil, she’d have killed the filthy lying Jew and any other witnesses of her alleged war crimes.

She added that Irma is an example of how perfectly normal people were turned into monsters simply by being given a bit of power by the Nazis.

‘You know someone like Irma Grese, how did she get into this position?’ she said.

An Israeli Holocaust survivor may be the world’s oldest man at 112, Guinness World Records said Thursday, providing he can find the documents to prove it.

Yisrael Kristal’s family say he was born in Poland on September 15, 1903, three months before the Wright brothers took the first airplane flight.

He lived in the country until the Nazi occupation during World War II, when he was eventually sent to the Auschwitz death camp.

Robert Young, senior consultant for gerontology at Guinness World Records, confirmed that if proven, he would become the oldest man currently on record.

To do so, however, Kristal would have to produce documents from the early years of his life. Currently, the family have said the oldest document they have is from his wedding aged 25.

“We have standard rules and it would be unfair on other people if we bent the rules,” Young told AFP, while expressing sympathy for Kristal’s circumstances.

The best hope for finding the missing proof may be in the town of Zarnov where he was born. The family later moved to Lodz, where Kristal worked in his family’s confectionary factory.

When the Jewish quarter of the city became a ghetto under Nazi occupation, Kristal was eventually sent to the infamous Nazi death camp Auschwitz.

His wife died but he survived, weighing just 37 kilos (81 pounds) at the end of the war, daughter Shula Kuperstoch said. “But he gained the strength and then eventually traveled to Israel.”

He moved to the northern city of Haifa and opened a sweet shop, marrying again.

Kristal himself did not give interviews as his health is frail, but Kuperstoch says he is in good spirits.

“He is a very positive man, very optimistic and with a good heart,” she said.

In a 2014 interview with Israeli media, Kristal was once asked what he ate to live so long.

“There wasn’t always food in the camps. I ate what I was given. I eat to live, and I don’t live to eat,” he said.

Two prominent Jew Holohoaxers occupying Germany have joined a collective of mostly Jew “artists” and “human rights activists” to demand that Germany be flooded with primitive savages from Syria.

Inge Lammel, a 90-year-old musicologist who survived the Holocaust by moving to Great Britain as a child. Kurt Gutmann, 87, survived the war when he was sent to Scotland as a child, he returned to Germany at the end of the war as an Allied soldier.

Lammel and Gutmann joined activists of the Center for Political Beauty and visited the German chancellery on Friday to appeal for the German government to allow more refugees into the country, Deutsche Welle reported.

“The only reason we survived is because we were able to leave Nazi Germany,” Lammel told Deutsche Welle. “In this way we could escape the fate of our parents, who died in the gas chambers of Auschwitz.”

Germany had already vowed to take in 10,000 Syrian asylum seekers, but the group, says this is not enough, since more than 70,000 Syrians applied for asylum.

“We would like to see Germany take in 75,000 Syrian refugees,” Gutmann said. “A rich country like ours should learn from the past and make the decision to take these people in.“

“Country like ours,” Jew? Germany is your country? No, Jew, your country is called “Israel.” Maybe you should call on Israel to import tens of thousands of primitives?

I would also wonder why these Jew hoaxers don’t simply call on the German government to demand that Obama regime stop funding terrorists to overthrow the Assad government? If this doesn’t work, they could then call on Merkel to send funds and weapons to help Assad keep his country together. That would be logical, right? If you are concerned about the Syrian people, you should try and keep their country from being destroyed.

But no – the Jew wants Assad destroyed, then they want to have the refuse left from this destruction used to further destroy Germany.

A German St. Lawrence High School exchange student felt the “despair” that a Holocaust survivor talked about during a presentation on Monday.

So much so, that Annelie Hartmann had to do something about it.

Apologize.

Hartmann waited until the last of her fellow students had finished taking photos with Dr. Eva Olsson, who had just finished a gut-wrenching tale of suffering inflicted by Nazis fueled by hate.

“I don’t know why I was feeling like that,” Hartmann said.

“Maybe because I was the only German here,” she said, wiping another tear from her eye.

The Grade 11 student had been at Holocaust presentations in her native country, but never felt compelled to offer a personal apology for the awful carnage the Nazis wrought on the Jewish and other ‘undesirable’ ethnic groups.

Hartmann sobbed as she haltingly told Olsson of her remorse.

Olsson could be heard telling the teenager that “you’re not responsible” as they embraced for almost two minutes.

Olsson told her that her guilty feelings are an example of the repercussions for the Nazis’ hate and their actions for being a bully.

“The despair is now being suffered by the Nazi’s children’s children’s children.”

Not only do the children’s children’s children deserve to feel guilt for this historical event which never actually even happened, but the hoaxers children’s children’s children deserve unlimited money for suffering by proxy for something that was real in their ancestors’ minds.

The whole story is so absolutely ridiculous.  It is based entirely on the power of the entertainment media, is it not?

In 2003, a Jew Holohoax survivor named Riven Flamenbaum died in New York, and it was discovered that he had had in his possession a 3,200 year old Assyrian gold artifact stolen from a German museum.

The artifact was excavated a hundred years ago by German archaeologists from the Ishtar Temple in what’s now northern Iraq.  According to the court (who are presumably basing this on the testimony of some experts somewhere), the tablet dates to between 1243 and 1207 B.C., which was the reign of King Tukulti-Ninurta I of Assyria. It had been placed in the foundation of the temple of a fertility goddess, and its 21 lines beseech those who find the temple to honor the king’s name.

The 9.5-gram tablet, credit card-sized tablet went on display in Berlin in 1934.  After the war ended, it, like basically everything else in Germany, was looted by the allies and their Jewish masters.

In 2006, the German museum that the relic belonged to said they wanted it back.  Flamenbaum’s family said they couldn’t have it because they had tried to Holocaust Flamenbaum, and anyway, he had legally purchased it from a Russian soldier for two packs of cigarettes, the family claimed.

This week, a New York court ruled that the golden tablet was ill-gotten, and must be returned to Germany.

The alleged survivor’s family was outraged that they, as Jews, could ever be forced to give back something that they stole from evil White Germans.  They cried about it, saying that they had planned to donate it to the Holocaust Museum in Washington.

We can count this as one more victory over the lying Jews and their idiotic Holocaust fairy tale.

The holohoax is the gift that never stops giving.  This Jew Semen might have gotten caught, but thing of the billions they have made off of this.  They got an entire country and I can’t even count how many wars out of it.

A former administrator at the New York nonprofit that distributes German reparations to Holocaust survivors was sentenced to eight years behind bars on Monday for running a $57 million fraud that used Russian immigrants to pose as victims of the Nazis.

Semen Domnitser, 55, of Brooklyn, was also sentenced by Manhattan federal Judge Thomas Griesa to three years of supervised release and ordered to forfeit $59,230 and pay $57.3 million in restitution.

A Manhattan jury in May convicted Domnitser and two accomplices of conspiracy and mail fraud for swindling the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

It has become a tradition, but it is still hard to get used to the sight. Nineteen senior citizen women standing in a row. Pair by pair, they step to the front of the stage, and take a bow, walk the catwalk and return to the line. The youngest is 70-years-old, the oldest is 94, and the common denominator is a haunting past: all of the contestants in the 2013 pageant which will be held in Haifa are Holocaust survivors.

“It’s amazing to find that even at this age there is jealously and rivalry, just as with 18-year-old models,” says Heli Ben David, who was crowned Miss Congeniality in the 1979 Miss Israel Pageant. Today, she guides the older women all the way to the catwalk. This week, she interviewed women who wanted to compete and heard their difficult stories.

“Because character here is no less important, I hear their stories and it is not easy,” explained Ben David. “Everyone has a very hard story, of life in the ghettos and camps, of hunger and the extreme cold. But from every one, I hear the same sentence: I’m here, and I beat the Germans because I am still alive, I started a family, and I am even competing in a beauty pageant.”

The oldest contestant and one of the favorites for winning is Shoshana Colmar, 94. At the time of her release from the Auschwitz death camp, she weighed 25 kg, and when she takes to the stage next Thursday, she will sing the song she would sing to one of the camp guards, so he would give her more soup. “They killed my whole family,” she said. “We were four children, and I remained alone. Dad, Mom, all the brothers of my parents. My mother had ten brothers and one was left; my father had seven brothers and one remained. And also all of their families. So for me, it is certainly a huge victory to be here.”

While waiting for rehearsals, as their friends are being photographed and interviewed, the other competitors spend their time singing and dancing. “We went from darkness to light, we do not want to remember what was bad then, but only what is good now,” one called out at the end of the dance.

Among this year’s competitors is Hannah Liebmann, 80, from Lod. Because Hannah is blind, her daughter Sarah initiated her participation in the competition and brought her to the first day of rehearsals.

“The message I try to convey in my participation,” Hannah said, “is that we are here. We beat Hitler and established families. I got to see great-grandchildren. And also out of my hardship as a woman who can not see, I try to help not only myself, but also other people.”

Competitor Naomi Isaac, 84, said: “I lived through the war in the concentration camps. The message here is that we are still alive. Though we lost our families, we are still alive and from here, I can say to the world: There were concentration camps, there was murder, and everything that mankind can invent.

Today, the treatment of Holocaust survivors in Israel is not so good. We would expect more, that it would be a little better.” Regarding the competition and rehearsals themselves, she said that age is an issue, “It is not so simple and not so easy at this age.”

The drive to survive was so powerful among male Holocaust survivors that decades later, they showed a longer life expectancy than those who did not suffer during the Nazi era.

That is the central finding of a new study at the University of Haifa and Leiden University (the Netherlands) that examined more than 55,000 Polish Jewish men who immigrated to Israel before and after World War II.

Prof. Avi Sagi-Schwartz of the University of Haifa’s psychology department and head of its Center for the Study of Child Development, led the research. The findings were just published in the PLoS One journal.

It was the first study to examine data on the entire population of Jews who immigrated here from Poland before and after World War II, using the population-wide official database of the National Insurance Institute in Jerusalem.

“Holocaust survivors not only suffered grave psychosocial trauma but also famine, malnutrition, and lack of hygienic and medical facilities, leading us to believe these damaged their later health and reduced life expectancy,” said Sagi- Schwartz.

Previous studies showed that a traumatic experience may shorten life expectancy and even found genetic proof that trauma may lead to a shortening of the telomeres – the chromosome ends in human DNA – responsible for the lifespan of human body cells. This led the researchers to examine whether Holocaust survivors would indeed have shorter lifespans.

The researchers compared a population of Holocaust survivors who were between four and 20 years old in 1939 and made aliya between 1945 and 1950 with a population of Polish immigrants of the same age group who immigrated before the outbreak of World War II in 1939.

The findings showed a life expectancy in the entire survivor population of six-anda- half months longer than that of the immigrant population that did not experience the Holocaust.
