The Danish government put forward a bill which would require migrants to shake hands with a municipal official before receiving citizenship — but several leftist mayors have said they will refuse to obey the law even if it is passed in parliament.

John Schmidt Andersen, Frederikssund’s far-left mayor, is one of the local politicians who has said he will ignore the law, saying: “It’s symbolism. It’s not very liberal to force people to shake hands if you come from a culture where you are greeted in a different way.”

The bill will also make attending the citizenship ceremony, which will be facilitated by at least one or more representatives of the municipality in which they reside, mandatory to become a citizen, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

Should the new handshake bill pass into law, it would not make Denmark the only country in Europe that could refuse citizenship for the refusal to shake an official’s hand. Earlier this year, in both France and Switzerland, Muslims were denied citizenship for refusing to shake the hands of government officials.

The talks between Trump and Putin ended up going on for a few hours even though they were only scheduled to meet for a little over 30 minutes. The biggest news coming out of the meeting was a new Syria ceasefire deal.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was in the room along with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. Tillerson briefed reporters about the talks confirming that the two leaders had good chemistry.

Excellent news all around.

It has finally happened. The President of the United States Donald Trump has met Russian President Vladimir Putin in-person!

It is worth noting that there was no weird controversy surrounding their first handshake. Everything proceeded normally.

FOOTAGE of the first face-to-face meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin has surfaced over social media, showing the US President “backslapping” his Russian counterpart.

The highly anticipated handshake was caught on camera by journalists at the G20 summit in Hamburg and shared on Facebook by the German Cabinet.

Trump was seen gripping Putin’s right hand before patting his arm several times later. Afterwards, he casually slapped him on the back in a gesture of friendliness.

Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters the leaders “shook hands and told each other that they will shortly have a separate meeting.”

Trump posted the following tweet in anticipation of his meeting with Putin and other world leaders.

The Trump-Putin meeting is undoubtedly the biggest story coming out of the G20. It will dominate the media cycle over the next 24 to 48 hours.

President Donald Trump’s meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday made history ― only for all the wrong reasons.

In their first joint appearance, Trump chose to sit silently alongside Merkel, ignoring a reporter’s suggestion that they shake hands.

Trump eclipsed that uneasy moment later in the afternoon when they held a joint press conference. Trump joked that he and Merkel “have something in common,” since former President Barack Obama allegedly wiretapped both of them. Merkel could barely conceal her bemusement.

It is not hard to see why Trump and Merkel’s meeting was uncomfortable. As a candidate, Trump lambasted Merkel for welcoming refugees, and he is now hoping to reduce the U.S.’ trade deficit with Germany.

Compare this to Barack Obama’s personal relationship with Hagela Merkel. Whenever these two got together, it looked just like a German female sex-tourist just reunited with her Kenyan boy-toy.

Aside from violating the human rights of Germans, the Merkel dictatorship is willfully housing scores of ISIS terrorists. A state acting as a domicile for terror groups was the justification given for invading Afghanistan, the United States should at the very least apply an economic embargo on Germany while supporting anti-Merkel rebels. If that doesn’t work, then preparing a military option should begin now.
