The Dominican Republic deported more than 276,000 Haitians in 2024, the country’s Immigration Directorate said Wednesday.

In the last three months of the year alone, over 94,000 people were deported under a new operation aiming to remove up to 10,000 undocumented Haitians per week, ordered by the Dominican Republic’s National Security and Defense Council headed by President Luis Abinader.

Dominican authorities also deported 48,344 Haitians during the January-March quarter, 62,446 between April-June, and 71,414 from July to September, according to the statement.

Challenge accepted

Government spokesman Homero Figueroa told reporters in October that the government ramped up deportations to address an “excess” of Haitian migrants in the Dominican Republic, which shares an island with Haiti. The two countries have long seen an informal flow of people across their shared border.

Haiti’s then-Foreign Minister Dominique Dupuy condemned “brutal scenes of raids and deportations,” and demanded justice for “dehumanizing acts” against her compatriots. Dominican authorities maintain that the deportations are carried out in compliance with human rights.

If this is possible, this deportation of the blacks, why is the US government not doing it?

We have very many of these blacks and they do nothing but cause trouble.

Maybe we need to bring in Dominican advisors to advise on this “deportation” business?

About 200 people were killed in violence in Haiti’s capital over the weekend, many in a massacre in which a gang boss reportedly targeted Vodou practitioners.

The killings of at least 110 people were overseen by a “powerful gang leader” convinced that his son’s illness was caused by followers of the religion, according to the civil organisation the Committee for Peace and Development (CPD).

“He decided to cruelly punish all elderly people and Vodou practitioners who, in his imagination, would be capable of sending a bad spell on his son,” a statement from the Haiti-based group said. “The gang’s soldiers were responsible for identifying victims in their homes to take them to the chief’s stronghold to be executed.”

Don’t the voodoo people also believe they are capable of sending such a spell?

Is there any evidence that they can’t do this?

The UN rights commissioner, Volker Türk, said at least 184 people had died over the weekend. “These latest killings bring the death toll just this year in Haiti to a staggering 5,000 people,” he told reporters in Geneva.

Both the CPD and UN said that the massacre took place in the capital’s western coastal neighbourhood of Cité Soleil.

Haiti has suffered from decades of instability but the situation escalated in February when armed groups launched coordinated attacks in the capital, Port-au-Prince, to overthrow the then prime minister, Ariel Henry.

Gangs control 80% of the city and despite a Kenyan-led police support mission, backed by the US and UN, violence has continued to soar.

They sent Kenya because – and I guess this is obvious – they didn’t want the optics of whites/Asians doing peacekeeping in a black country.

I said from the beginning that sending Kenya was retarded and they should have sent Kodak Black with a posse from East Atlanta to fix the situation.

Kodak would have monkeyed that shit up and down, you wouldn’t need to do a voodoo massacre because everyone would already be dead or addicted to crack (and thus unable to focus on massacres).

The CPD said that most of the victims of violence waged on Friday and Saturday were over 60, but that some young people who tried to rescue others were also among the casualties.

“Reliable sources within the community report that more than a hundred people were massacred, their bodies mutilated and burned in the street,” a statement said.

It really does not matter.

We heard for years that “black lives matter” (we don’t hear it very much now, strangely), but the reality is that they really do not matter.

You can say they matter in a cosmic sense, in which “all lives matter,” but in a practical sense, black people kill each other wholesale and no one really cares, least of all other black people. The reality on the ground is that black lives literally do not matter.

Black lives certainly do not matter to black people.

It’s all just gang wars in Haiti. There is no attempt to instill any form of order, beyond whatever order can come from brutal tribal warfare. In terms of what kind of order that is: presumably, once enough people are killed, certain gang/tribe leaders will establish themselves and there won’t be need for continuous killings.

But that time is not today.

Well, that’s interesting, because I was told that once a foreigner enters your country he automatically “becomes you” and he can stay there forever committing crimes and living on welfare.

The Dominican Republic announced Wednesday that it would start massive deportations of Haitians living illegally in the country, expelling up to 10,000 of them a week.

Government spokesman Homero Figueroa told reporters that the government took the decision after noticing an “excess” of Haitian migrants in the Dominican Republic, which shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti.

Figueroa said officials have seen an increase in Haitian migrants as a U.N.-backed mission in Haiti to fight gang violence flounders. He said authorities also agreed to strengthen border surveillance and control, but he did not provide details.

Last year, the Dominican Republic deported more than 174,000 people it says are Haitians, and in the first half of the year, it has expelled at least 67,000 more.

Activists have long criticized the administration of President Luis Abinader for what they say are ongoing human rights violations of Haitians and those of Haitian descent born in the Dominican Republic. Abinader has denied any mistreatment.

I will have to incorporate this interesting new concept of “deportation” into my understanding of the world.

Armed gangs in Haiti’s capital released roughly 4,000 inmates from the country’s largest prison after a days-long gun battle with police on Sunday.

The vast majority of the 4,000 men held in the Port-au-Prince jail successfully escaped, according to reports from local media. Many of the inmates were gang members charged in connection with the 2021 assassination of Hatian President Jovenel Moise.

Armed gangs launched their attack against the prison earlier this weekend when Prime Minister Ariel Henry left the country on a visit to Kenya, seeking assistance in the fight against domestic gangs.

Gang leader Jimmy Cherizier, a former police officer, called on various armed groups to overthrow Henry’s regime. Gangs attacked both the National Penitentiary and the country’s main container port.

“All of us, the armed groups in the provincial towns and the armed groups in the capital, are united,” Cherizier said.

Henry had vowed to step down from his position by the end of February, but he argued the gang violence needed to be overcome before free and fair elections could be held.

Haiti has not held an election since 2016.

Frankly, I wish we had a lot more of this sort of thing in America, which is why I’m so bullish on the Venezuelan takeover of New York.

When Pauline Philippe found out she was pregnant with twins, she felt a flash of happiness. Then she burst into tears in front of the ultrasound technician.

“Why are you crying?” she remembers him asking. Trying to cheer her up, he added: “You’re having twins, Preval and Aristide!” — referring to two former Haitian presidents.

Haiti at the time was still badly shaken by a deadly earthquake that struck the capital Port-au-Prince two years prior in 2010, killing hundreds of thousands of people. The disaster spurred a massive influx of relief workers and aid groups, including a contingent of United Nations peacekeepers who brought a deadly cholera epidemic with them to the small Caribbean nation, resulting in another nearly 10,000 deaths.

The man who fathered Philippe’s twins was part of the international assistance effort, a UN policeman on temporary assignment in Port-au-Prince. Married with a family back home in Niger, she says, he did not stick around.

“I thought about everything that could happen,” Phillippe told CNN. “I called the father and told him I was pregnant with twins. He said, ‘How can that be? From me? I’m going to leave the country, you’ll have bastards. You can’t raise kids without a father.”

But in November 2012, the then-26-year-old gave birth to a girl and boy. Their father left the country two months later.

Philippe is one of untold numbers of women and girls around the world raising children fathered by UN peacekeepers and staffers. From 2010 to February of this year, the UN has recorded 463 paternity claims against its personnel, of which 55 have been verified. In 298 cases, action remains “pending.” Those are only the people who have come forward.

Largely abandoned by the fathers, these mothers are trying to raise children in some of the most difficult conditions in the world — in the wake of natural disasters, violent and ethnic conflict, or in refugee camps — and often face harsh social stigma.

But while the societies in which the women live may judge them, the UN itself is clear about who’s at fault for what it calls “sexual exploitation and abuse.”

Why do they call it that?

I thought women were empowered?

In 2003, then-UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan issued a bulletin discouraging sex between UN workers and the people they are sent to help, with the bulletin explaining that such relations “are based on inherently unequal power dynamics,” and “undermine the credibility and integrity of the work of the United Nations.” Peacekeepers and military police — like the father of Philippe’s children — are banned from any “fraternization” with the civilian population.

Current Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has vowed to get the UN’s “own house in order.” In 2017, he unveiled a four-pronged strategy focused not only on ending impunity, but also on prioritizing victims’ rights and dignity. He appointed the UN’s first Victims’ Rights Advocate and created a “trust fund” to support victims.

But Philippe and six other Haitian mothers interviewed by CNN say support has been meager and conditional. And their demands for justice — child support from the fathers, to which they might be entitled by Haitian law, and even compensation as victims — have come to almost nothing.

“They treat us as less than human,” one woman said, describing their interactions with the UN.

In Haiti, where warring gangs have driven thousands from their homes in Port-au-Prince, causing food and energy prices to skyrocket across the country, the women described a desperate struggle to survive and care for their children. Some have been forced to flee the country.

Meanwhile, sex scandals involving UN personnel have continued. In June this year, 60 Tanzanian peacekeepers were sent home from the Central African Republic over allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse involving four victims, two of them children.

Human rights abuses in Haiti are soaring while the Haitian state is almost nonexistent and unable to protect its people from the brutality of armed gangs, Human Rights Watch (HRW) has warned in a new report.

Rival criminal factions now have such a tight grip over the country that international security forces could be necessary to restore order, the rights groups said.

HRW investigators documented 67 recent killings by armed gangs in its report, Living a Nightmare, including the murders of 11 children and 12 women. It also verified more than 20 cases of rape – many of them committed by multiple perpetrators to sow terror among the population.

“Urgent action is needed to address the extreme levels of violence and the palpable fear, hunger and sense of abandonment that so many Haitians experience today,” said Nathalye Cotrino, crisis and conflict researcher at HRW.

Haiti has fallen into chaos since president Jovenel Moïse was assassinated in 2021 and gangs began grabbing control of the country in bloody turf wars.

Harrowing human rights violations have become commonplace, 4.9 million people cannot regularly get enough food to eat, and cholera has returned amid the conflict.

Criminal groups have killed at least 2,000 people and kidnapped more than 1,000 in the first half of 2023, according to the UN.

The rights body verified accounts of gruesome killings in its interviews, the use of sexual violence as a weapon, and the practice of dismembering of bodies with machetes and setting corpses alight to intimidate rivals.

“They rape us because they are in control, because they have guns, because there is nobody to defend us. There is no police or state,” a survivor of sexual violence in the sprawling Port-au-Prince slum of Cité Soleil told the rights body.

This is, we should note, definitely and categorically “not a shithole.”

An American nurse and her young child were kidnapped in Haiti Thursday, the faith-based organization her husband runs said.

Alix Dorsainvil and the child, who was not named, were abducted from a Christian campus near Port au Prince, the country’s capital, while conducting community ministry services, according to El Roi Haiti.

The conditions surrounding the pair’s kidnapping were not shared, but the US State Department said it was working toward their safe return.

“We are aware of reports of the kidnapping of two U.S. citizens in Haiti,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “We are in regular contact with Haitian authorities and will continue to work with them and our U.S. government interagency partners.”

According to El Roi Haiti’s website, Dorsainvil worked as a nurse in New Hampshire before making the permanent move to Haiti to serve as the organization’s community nurse.

She is married to El Roi Haiti’s founder and director, Sandro Dorsainvil, whom she shares a child with.

“Alix is a deeply compassionate and loving person who considers Haiti her home and the Haitian people her friends and family,” the organization said in a statement.

The reported kidnappings came on the same day the US ordered non-emergency government personnel and family members to leave Haiti as soon as possible, citing “kidnapping, crime, civil unrest, and poor health care infrastructure.”

I’ve never seen a single evangelical charity that was not a scam.

All of this international stuff is a total scam, where they just get gullible old people to dump money on them. They often buy children and resell them in America. Like, you can buy a Haitian child, for example, for probably $1,200. You can sell it in America for close to $15,000. This is a massive markup.

According to the Haitians, Israelis went into their country a while back and did organ harvesting against the blacks, so I would be pretty suspicious of a UN invasion if I were the blacks.

The United Nations has called for an international military deployment in Haiti, insisting a foreign troop presence is needed to maintain order and curb rampant gang violence. The country has seen significant unrest since the assassination of President Jovenel Moise in 2021, including a major spike in violent crime.

Addressing the UN Security Council on Tuesday, UN special envoy to Haiti Helen La Lime warned that gang-related violence has “reached levels not seen in decades,” saying that while Haiti has made some positive steps in recent months, those gains “remain fragile and vulnerable to being reversed” without foreign intervention.

“Haitians overwhelmingly want this assistance so they can go about their daily lives in peace. The population is living in fear and are all too conscious of the limitations of the police force,” she added.

Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry first proposed a security mission last October, calling for “the immediate deployment of a specialized armed force” to take on “armed gangs.” At the time, criminal groups were helping to stage chaotic protests which effectively shut down some of Haiti’s main ports, driving shortages in key goods such as water and fuel.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres later echoed the government’s appeal, though it appears to have fallen on deaf ears. 

While Washington recently agreed to sell a number of armored vehicles to the Haitian National Police to “counter gang violence and re-establish stability,” and has itself suggested a “limited” troop deployment, President Joe Biden has been reluctant to take that step.

This isn’t really the whole story. The leader of Haiti is unelected, and supported by the US government. Their president was assassinated in 2021, interestingly in the midst of an international scandal over his opposition to the coronavirus vaccine. Most people believe that the US hired the Colombian assassins.

This led to the protests which the UN is claiming are illegitimate.

It’s a wacky thing that the UN would have to go in to stop protests and crime. This represents a total lack of sovereignty, regardless of whether the unelected leader of the country supports it.

If this is the standard, I don’t see how they wouldn’t also be sent into Chicago, where the crime is worse than in Haiti.

If violent protests are an issue, you’d think they might also be sent in to quell Antifa and BLM.

Maybe that is what this is leading to?

Currently, the situation is extremely complicated for Haitian migrants in the Dominican Republic since their rights continue to be violated.

They are mistreated. They are taken from their homes during the night and taken away outright, regardless of their condition or their situation. Without knowing if they are there legally or not.

The idea is not to go after Haitian migrants who are in the country illegally, but to drive out all Haitians who end up on Dominican soil.

The Dominican Republic has denied any racism and pledged to clamp down harder.

These supposedly oppressed third world people really don’t seem to think much of this whole political correctness project.

I’m sure that’s very sad for a lot of Jews and white women.

What the Dominican is proving – and this is notable – is that mass deportations are actually very easy if the political will exists. No one has to get hurt, it doesn’t have to be some big sad thing. You just grab them and peacefully put them out.
