Why do they want their guns?

Are they planning to do something to them?

Remix:

Authorities in Germany have begun withdrawing gun ownership licenses from Alternative for Germany (AfD) members, who are deemed a “danger to public safety.”

So far, five AfD members have received a notice that their gun license would be revoked, while another member voluntarily returned his license after a revocation procedure was initiated. Another 51 cases are currently being examined by authorities, according to data released by the Saxony-Anhalt Interior Ministry in response to a request for information from the Left Party.

Hunters and sport shooters will also have their gun licenses canceled by authorities. In total, there are 74 members of the AfD in Saxony-Anhalt that hold a firearms license, with 49 registered as sport shooters and 25 as hunters.

The revocation of gun licenses comes after the Office of the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Germany’s powerful domestic intelligence agency, classified the AfD as “certainly right-wing extremist.” With this designation, AfD members suddenly faced a litany of problems. For one, authorities could spy on their communications without any warrant; however, authorities could also seize their firearms, and members could also face issues with government employment.

The efforts to disarm AfD members won praise from the Left Party’s parliamentary group leader Eva von Angern.

Eva von Angern

“The first revocation notices show that, after individual examination, these people pose a threat to public safety,” she said to German news outlet Mitteldeutsche Zeitung.

As Remix News has reported in the past, the BfV has also been active designating the AfD as an extremist threat in other states such as North Rhine-Westphalia, where gun owners are also under threat of having their firearms taken away from them.

Most popular political party in the country, by the way.

If it’s a terrorist group, then I think democracy has failed.

This is the state where Magdeburg is

Poland Becomes First EU Country to Teach Kids How to Shoot Guns in School https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/18/poland-becomes-first-eu-country-to-teach-kids-how-to-shoot-guns-in-school/ Wed, 18 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000

What is the argument for not teaching kids how to shoot guns at school?

The Russians have been doing this for years.

I guess an argument for Poles would be to not do it because Russia does it, but I can’t think of any other reason.

Daily Express:

Weaponry classes have become mandatory in Polish schools in the wake of Russia’s war on Ukraine.

NATO scrambled jets in Poland Sunday to respond to a devastating Russian attack on Ukrainian energy and military facilities that led to major power cuts in Kyiv, pervading citizens in darkness ahead of the holiday season.

These amped-up attacks are in line with Russia’s threat to escalate its response following Ukraine’s use of US-supplied ATACMS missiles.

…

Poland is “the undisputed leader and innovator in helping Ukraine since the beginning of the war,” the Polish Ministry said.

Despite Poland being one of the safest countries in Europe, fearing a Russian threat as Moscow continues to escalate their war against Ukraine and their allies, the government has decided to equip students with firearms training to be prepared for unforeseen events.

In 2022, the Polish Ministry of Education and Science said, “The current challenges and threats require supplementing the goals of education and teaching content with issues related to state defense, acquiring shooting skills, and preparing students to cope with threats caused by hostilities.”

These Education Security classes were scheduled to start in the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.

Students do not train with live ammunition but with ball guns, air guns, replicas of small arms, and virtual or shooting guns with lasers where the green light signals a successful hit. Laser arms dealer Krzysztof Papadis has developed this system and selling it to over 18,000 schools in Poland, he told DW.

This news article (actually a tabloid news article) is claiming that is related to Poland’s planned war with Russia.

Maybe that’s true, I have no idea, but regardless, there is no downside to teaching children to use firearms.

Why would you not do that?

It’s the same thing with teaching kids outdoors skills. It’s insane that children are taught useless algebra while not being taught how to build a wilderness survival shelter.

Which is more likely to save your life? Which skill would you rather your own kids have?

Russians do it better

It would be better if everyone was legally allowed to bring their guns on the subway, no?

I mean, whites are a lot better aim than blacks.

It’s already a ridiculous mess, at this point, just openly allowing shootouts on the subway would make everyone feel a lot safer.

You would probably have people coming up from Texas to ride around on the subway all day just waiting for some black or Venezuelan to draw his gun.

New York Post:

Mayor Eric Adams’ controversial plan to install gun-detecting tech in the Big Apple’s beleaguered transit system was booted up Friday in lower Manhattan.

The weapons scanner pilot program from company Evolv, which was unveiled by the tech-loving mayor in March, went live in the Fulton Street station at around 4 p.m., ahead of the evening commute.

A Post reporter observed passengers forking over their handbags and backpacks to police for inspection before they passed through the electronic detector, where there was a sea of additional officers waiting on the other side. Once cleared, they walked back and retrieved their items.

One police officer wearing rubber gloves was seen thoroughly searching one straphanger’s black backpack, carefully going through each pocket.

Commuters who spoke to The Post welcomed the scanners — as long as they are accurate and don’t hold up the hurried commuters.

When the program is implemented only random people — every five people or so — will be selected to go through the detector, Adams told reporters at a press conference Friday evening.

He described the new weapons technology surveillance pilot, which uses electromagnetic technology, as “groundbreaking” — noting scanners will be placed at “select” stations throughout the city “over the next month.”

This hardly seems like a long-term solution to the problem of escalating violence.

It seems to me that this is a social problem, and not a problem of access to guns.

No?

Germany: Court Decides AfD Members Can’t Legally Own Guns https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/07/04/germany-court-decides-afd-members-cant-legally-own-guns/ Thu, 04 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000

So, it’s the most popular political party in the country.

But it’s also a terrorist organization?

There seems to be some kind of serious problem with this “democracy” thing.

European Conservative:

An administrative court in Düsseldorf has ruled that members of the antiglobalist, anti-migration Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party cannot hold gun licences and own firearms due to a perceived risk to national security. The court decision comes at a time when violent crime is at an all-time high and AfD members are targeted more than members of other parties by political violence.

According to the court’s verdict, all members of dissident parties under investigation by the country’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution are considered “unreliable” under firearms law and therefore banned from possessing guns. The case was originally brought by two AfD members who claimed that revoking their gun licences was a violation of their constitutional rights.

Gun ownership in Germany is already heavily regulated under strict licensing laws, with exemptions primarily for hunting or competitive shooting.

The ruling by the Düsseldorf court may also impact the ability of AfD-aligned public servants to maintain their roles by affirming that civil servants and soldiers can be penalised “up to and including dismissal from service for supporting a non-banned but anti-constitutional party.”

The two AfD members at the centre of the trial will have to surrender their firearms and ammunition immediately to the state but can appeal the decision to a higher court.

This is just nuts.

No one thinks they are murderers.

No one thinks they are terrorists.

They might think that in a situation of unrest, they would move to seize control of the government.

But hey – maybe if the government is afraid of that, they should do a better job of avoiding unrest?

It sucks America is not more like Russia.

America could actually be a much better version of Russia if we were simply not fat pieces of shit.

Reuters:

Fourteen-year-old Russian schoolboy David learned something new this month: firing accurately with a Kalashnikov is trickier than with a pistol.

With other pupils, he got to try out the weapons as part of basic military training – a feature of the school programme that was dropped in the final years of the Soviet Union but has been reintroduced since the start of Russia’s war in Ukraine.

In the southern city of Vladikavkaz this month teenage boys in camouflage uniform took turns at firing weapons and practising first aid under the eye of instructors.

…

The education ministry issued a decree in late 2022 introducing basic military training into the school curriculum as part of a subject called “basics of life safety“. Critics see it as part of a growing militarisation of Russian society since the start of the war.

Would you want your kids learning this?

Or how to get rimmed?

For me, it’s not a hard question to answer, but I guess it’s a real stumper for some folks.

Federal Judge Blocks Biden Administration’s Attempt to Expand Gun Background Checks https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/05/20/federal-judge-blocks-biden-administrations-attempt-to-expand-gun-background-checks/ Mon, 20 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Demon-RATS are obsessed with taking people’s guns.

I don’t really know why. No one is going to use them anyway.

Americans are a bunch of fat pussies.

They will tell you that the reason they have guns is so no one takes their guns.

Reuters:

A federal judge on Sunday blocked the Biden administration from fully implementing a new rule that would require gun dealers to obtain licenses and conduct background checks when selling firearms at gun shows and online.

U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in Amarillo temporarily restrained the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ rule from being enforced in Republican-led Texas or against members of several gun rights groups.

“I am relieved that we were able to secure a restraining order that will prevent this illegal rule from taking effect,” Texas Attorney General Paxton, a Republican, said in a statement.

The U.S. Department of Justice, which is defending the rule in court, did not respond to a request for comment.

Kacsmaryk, an appointee of Republican former President Donald Trump, issued his ruling ahead of the rule taking effect on Monday in response to a lawsuit by Texas, gun rights advocates, and three other Republican-led states.

The lawsuit challenged a rule finalized last month that Democratic President Joe Biden’s administration said would affect more than 23,000 unlicensed dealers and tens of thousands of gun sales annually by closing the “gun show loophole.”

Under the rule, those selling weapons at gun shows, other venues and over the internet are subject to the same requirements as gun stores to check the backgrounds of potential buyers.

There is no “gun show loophole.” This is just the normal way guns are supposed to be sold in America. It is totally illegal for the government to tell people they have to register their guns, or provide any record of purchase.

It’s also illegal to regulate the kinds of guns people can buy.

According to the Constitution, you should be able to buy a machine pistol with cash in a back alley and then carry it concealed on all public property. That’s what the Constitution says.

The Constitution has been inactive for a very long time, and it’s actually stupid to even talk about it.

Universal background checks just dropped.

New federal law.

They are really pushing these things to the limit, no?

This is a massive escalation against the basic freedoms of the people.

The Guardian:

The sale of firearms on the internet and at gun shows in the US will in future be subject to mandatory background checks, the justice department said on Thursday as it announced a “historic” new action to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals.

The closing of the so-called gun show loophole, which exempts private transactions from restrictions that apply to licensed dealers, has long been a goal of the Biden administration, and is specifically targeted in the rule published in the federal register today.

“Under this regulation, it will not matter if guns are sold on the internet, at a gun show, or at a brick-and-mortar store: if you sell guns predominantly to earn a profit, you must be licensed, and you must conduct background checks,” attorney general Merrick Garland told reporters on a press call announcing the measure.

“This regulation is a historic step in the justice department’s fight against gun violence. It will save lives.”

The rule, which clarifies who is considered to be “engaged in the business” as a firearms dealer, will take effect in 30 days’ time, and follows a three-month consultation period that attracted almost 388,000 comments to the website of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

The White House estimates that 22% of guns owned by Americans were acquired without a background check and that about 23,000 more individuals will be required to be licensed as a dealer after the rule’s implementation.

“There is a large and growing black market of guns being sold by people in the business of dealing and doing it without a license, and therefore they are not running background checks the way the law requires,” ATF director Steven Dettelbach said.

“It’s not safe for innocent, law-abiding Americans. In fact, it’s doggone dangerous.”

Remember: anyone who talks about the Constitution as if it is somehow active is full of shit.

Every conservative who goes on and on about the Constitution is a liar and a fraud.

The Constitution has not been active since like, the Civil War.

They have banned all kinds of guns that the Constitution obviously protects. They have passed totally illegal gun control laws in cities. No city is allowed to pass a gun control law. And the government was never allowed to ban full-automatic weapons.

According to the Constitution, you can carry a concealed machine pistol – without any license to do so – on all public property in America. It’s been a very long time since the fed government allowed you to do that.

It’s the same thing with freedom of speech. If you look at what was done to Alex Jones – or to others who have been sued in civil court over what is obviously protected speech (it’s happened to several others) – then you have to admit that the First Amendment is no longer active, at all.

Pretending the Constitution is active simply plays into the hands of the enemy.

There is no Constitution. All that talking about the Constitution does is allow the enemy to claim they represent the Constitution. Actual defenders of America might call for the Constitution to be reinstated, but pretending like “it’s against the Constitution” is somehow a defense of anything is simply absurd.

Michigan: Parents of School Shooter Sentenced to 10 to 15 Years in Prison https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/04/10/michigan-parents-of-school-shooter-sentenced-to-10-to-15-years-in-prison/ Wed, 10 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000

We’ve heard of “the sins of the father carried on the the son.”

Well: have you heard of the reverse?

Washington Examiner:

James and Jennifer Crumbley, parents of Ethan Crumbley, who killed four students and shot seven others at Oxford High School in Michigan in 2021, were sentenced to 10-15 years in prison.

In separate trials, the Crumbleys were charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter. Each charge of involuntary manslaughter faces a punishment of up to 15 years in prison.

The conviction of the Crumbleys is the first time parents have been charged for a mass shooting carried out by their child. Legal experts say the ruling may set a new legal precedent about holding parents accountable for the actions of their children. Presiding Judge Cherly Matthews said the Crumbleys’ conviction should act as a deterrent in preventing future mass shootings.

“Opportunity knocked over and over again, louder and louder, and was ignored. No one answered and these two people should have and sure didn’t,” Matthews said. “These convictions confirm repeated acts or lack of acts that could have halted an oncoming runaway train.”

Prosecutors argued the Crumbleys ignored warning signs displayed by then-15-year-old Ethan Crumbley, who was sentenced in 2022 to life without parole.

The Crumbleys purchased for their son a Sig Sauer 9 mm handgun as an early Christmas present, and prosecutors proved the gun was not locked up properly.

On the morning of the mass shooting on Nov. 30, 2021, the Crumbleys met with the school’s guidance counselor to discuss the troubling behavior of their son. They were shown drawings Ethan Crumbley made of a pistol next to a figure with bullet wounds and phrases like “blood everywhere” and “help me, the thoughts won’t stop.” The Crumbleys didn’t share with the counselors they had purchased a gun for him.

Frankly, this is ridiculous and absurd.

You can’t punish parents for crimes of their kids.

This is more absurdity from the American system, which is no longer considered serious by anyone, anywhere.

Finland: 1 Dead and 2 Injured After 12-Year-Old Shoots Up School https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/04/03/finland-1-dead-and-2-injured-after-12-year-old-shoots-up-school/ Wed, 03 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000

No race given for the shooter.

Shocking that this piece of information would be left out.

CNN:

A child has died and two others have been seriously injured in a school shooting in Finland, according to the country’s national police.

The victims were 12 years old. A suspect, also aged 12 and a student at the same school, fled on foot but was later caught by police in a suburb north of the Finnish capital Helsinki, according the country’s public broadcaster, YLE.

Officers were called to Viertola school in the city of Vantaa at around 9 a.m. local time (2 a.m. ET) Tuesday, YLE said.

Maybe this had something to do with it?

The handgun used in the shooting was licensed to a close relative of the shooter, YLE reported, adding that police said they have no details about the motive. The suspect has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Pupils were kept inside their classrooms after the shooting and authorities urged people to avoid the school and remain indoors.

Viertola primary school lies about 18 kilometers (11 miles) north of Helsinki. It has around 800 students between 1st and 9th grade and around 90 staff members.

Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo said the shooting was “deeply shocking.”

But is it shocking?

“My thoughts are with the victims, their families and the other students and staff of the Viertola school,” Orpo wrote on X.

Finland enjoys a strong tradition of hunting and its gun ownership rates are among the highest in the world, but school shootings are extremely rare.

Unlike in America, where they happen all the time, because everyone is on pills.

In Finland, they won’t let you own a gun if you say you want it for self-defense

Hawaii: State Supreme Court Says Spirit of Aloha Supercedes 2nd Amendment https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/02/13/hawaii-state-supreme-court-says-spirit-of-aloha-supercedes-2nd-amendment/ Tue, 13 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Making Hawaii a state was a stupid mistake.

These savages should have been left to remain a poverty-riddled tourist destination like various other islands the US controls.

But I don’t really care, actually.

It’s just funny they are employing tribal law to override the US Constitution.

The Guardian:

Hawaii’s highest court, citing the state’s “spirit of aloha”, has ruled that a person can be prosecuted for carrying a gun in public without a permit, in an apparent rebuke to the US supreme court that has been looking favorably on efforts to expand gun rights.

The state supreme court of Hawaii reviewed a 2017 case against Christopher Wilson, who had an unregistered, loaded pistol in his front waistband when police were called after a Maui landowner reported seeing a group of men on his property at night.

The court denied the man’s request to dismiss weapons possession charges on grounds that they violated a right to bear arms enshrined in the US constitution in 1791, Fox News reported.

“As the world turns, it makes no sense for contemporary society to pledge allegiance to the founding era’s culture, realities, laws, and understanding of the Constitution,” the 53-page ruling said before borrowing a phrase from the hit HBO series The Wire, set in the crime-ridden streets of Baltimore.

“The thing about the old days, they the old days,” the court added in its decision, for emphasis that contemporary culture shouldn’t be shaped entirely by the founding fathers of the US.

Yikes.

Quoting ebonics from the Wire makes this so, so much worse.

I wish they would have quoted Game of Thrones.

“The spirit of aloha clashes with a federally-mandated lifestyle that lets citizens walk around with deadly weapons during day-to-day activities,” added Justice Todd Eddins in an opinion. “The history of the Hawaiian Islands does not include a society where armed people move about the community to possibly combat the deadly aims of others.”

Well, they didn’t invent guns, that’s for sure. Niggas was walking around wearing leaves for clothes.

I’m sure they were carrying spears and such. Tribal Hawaii was not a particularly peaceful place.

Under 1986’s Hawaiian Spirit Law, the state mandates that state officials and judges treat the public with “aloha spirit”, described as the coordination of the heart and mind to foster connectivity and peace that calls for contemplation and presence of five life-force traits: “akahai” (kindness, expressed with tenderness); “lōkahi” (unity, expressed with harmony); “oluʻolu” (agreeableness, expressed with pleasantness); “haʻahaʻa” (humility, expressed with modesty); and “ahonui’” (patience, expressed with perseverance).

That’s the single gayest paragraph I’ve ever read. In my entire life.

The Wilson case has been winding its way through the court system, with the plaintiff claiming that he had legally purchased the weapon in Florida in 2013. But Wilson had not registered the gun in Hawaii, which has some of the nation’s strictest gun laws, and had not obtained or applied for a permit.

The case made its way to the state’s supreme court after the US supreme court further relaxed restrictions on gun ownership via the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v Bruen case in 2022.

The ruling in State of Hawaii v Christopher Wilson does not throw out the concept of the right to bear firearms but rather establishes that states may retain the authority to require people to obtain a permit for their firearm before they may carry it in public.

It actually does throwout the right to bear arms.

But whatever.

I don’t really care at this point.

Bearing arms didn’t stop child trannies, so it doesn’t really seem to have any practical purpose. None of these fat slobs that live in this shithole country are ever going to challenge the government. Instead, they’ll rally around some flabby cripple and claim he’s challenging the government, even though he isn’t.
