For me, it’s not a hard question to answer, but I guess it’s a real stumper for some folks.

It’s really tiresome to point out the hypocrisy and it really feels futile. Conservatives have been pointing out the hypocrisy for decades, and all it did was end up putting them in a place where they were open to really stupid ideas about “Democrats are the real racists” and “Democrats are the real homophobes.”

In general, I try to avoid pointing out the hypocrisy, and instead just attacking these people as disgusting and satanic.

But you read this and you can’t help yourself: imagine if a pro-lifer shot an 84-year-old pro-abortion woman. It would be on the level of Dylann Roof – you wouldn’t hear the end of it for at least two or three years.

But an abortion person shoots an anti-abortion woman and you don’t even hear about it.

A Michigan man shot and wounded an 84-year-old pro-life canvasser at his home last week, officials said.

The homeowner, 74-year-old Richard Harvey, surrendered to police on Friday and was charged with felonious assault and reckless discharge of a firearm causing injury in the Sept. 20 shooting, according to Ionia County Prosecutor Kyle Butler.

Yes, they waited ten days to arrest him.

The canvasser, Joan Jacobson, told police she had knocked on the door to Harvey’s Odessa Township home and asked the woman who answered the door to vote against Proposal 3 in November — which would amend the state’s constitution to guarantee the right to abortion in the state, if passed.

Jacobson, a long-time volunteer for Right to Life of Michigan, told The Detroit News on Thursday that she was told to leave the premises when she “heard a shot” and “felt some pain.”

She then drove herself to a local police station and was later treated for a gunshot wound to the right shoulder at a hospital, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Harvey told local news outlet WOOD-TV that he had accidentally shot Jacobson while she was arguing with his wife after he had told her several times to get off their property.

He said he heard arguing coming from his barn and fired a warning shot at a tree with his wife’s .22 caliber rifle. But he said the woman kept “ranting and raving” and wildly waving her clipboard around.

Harvey said he feared that Jacobson was going to hit his wife with the clipboard.

“So without thinking, I went to club it away with the rifle and my finger was still in the trigger guard. It went off and hit her.”

Yeah. This guy was out doing interviews with the media days after shooting this old woman in the back.

The police were apparently just not interested in arresting him until enough people complained.

They are really playing up this abortion stuff for the midterms, and it will probably work.

I’m pretty much full tinfoil on the Supreme Court, and I think they did the abortion ruling for the purpose of helping the Democrats in the midterms.

But of course, you have to support the anti-abortion laws, even if it is a conspiracy. Being a Christian and not celebrating new laws against abortion just because they are an electioneering conspiracy would be like being the State Department and not celebrating the Nord Stream pipelines being blown up just because Putin did it himself to make you look bad.

A Missouri family is mourning two children after what police say could have been a murder-suicide at a birthday party.

A 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were killed while playing with a gun at a birthday party around 2 a.m. Friday. According to police, both kids were shot by the same gun, with the boy shot first.

They have been identified as 12-year-old Paris Harvey and 14-year-old Kuaron Harvey, KMOV reports.

Police are investigating what happened. They identified the 12-year-old as a suspect in what they believe could have been a murder-suicide.

However, the family says the incident was an accident. The girl’s mother says her daughter was playing with the weapon while making an Instagram Live video, and it went off, shooting her cousin.

She also says her daughter dropped the gun, and when she picked it up, it fired and killed her.

This is some kind of a problem in this country.

A lighting technician from the set of “Rust” is suing Alec Baldwin and the film’s armorer for negligence, claiming he suffered emotional distress after nearly being hit by the bullet that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

The film’s gaffer, Serge Svetnoy, claims he held Hutchins in his arms as blood poured from her gunshot wound, and desperately tried to save her after Baldwin accidentally shot her with a loaded prop gun, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Court.

Svetnoy claims the 63-year-old actor should have checked the gun before pulling the trigger.

“[Baldwin] owed a duty to [me] and other crew members and actors on the ‘Rust’ set to handle the Colt Revolver provided to him by defendant Halls with reasonable care and diligence for the safety of ‘Rust’ cast and crew,” the suit states.

“This duty called for Defendant Baldwin to double-check the Colt Revolver with Halls upon being handled to ensure that it did not contain live ammunition,” it continues. “This duty further called for [Baldwin] to handle the Colt Revolver as if it was loaded and to refrain from pointing it at anyone.”

In the scene Baldwin was rehearsing, the actor was supposed to draw the gun and point it in the direction of the camera — but not pull the trigger, according to the lawsuit.

The gaffer — who is also suing the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, along with assistant director Dave Halls and others — also claims the people in charge failed to keep workers safe on set.

“They attempted to save money by hiring an insufficient number of crew members to safely handle the props and firearms,” the suit states, noting Baldwin was a producer on the film. It also alleges they violated industry norms, failed to allow proper time for gunfire and declined requests for a weapons training day.

It’s probably going to be hard to successfully sue Baldwin. He’s literally not responsible for this, and as much as I dislike him, I said as much at the time – I feel bad for him.

The only way they could sue Baldwin and win is if they showed that as a producer, he was in charge of the set, and was allowing it to be run in a completely unprofessional manner. You know – “reckless disregard” of some kind. They could get him on that. But not on simply pulling the trigger.

The bitch who is responsible is claiming there’s a conspiracy against her.

An attorney for the armorer on the set of “Rust” said that his client is being “framed” for the tragic death that occurred when Alec Baldwin shot the film’s cinematographer.

The lawyer for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed insisted on Wednesday that “sabotage” and a “tampered” crime scene were evidence of the frame job for the shooting last month on the New Mexico film set.

“We are asking for a full and complete investigation of all of the facts, including the live rounds themselves, how they ended up in the ‘dummies’ box, and who put them in there,” attorney Jason Bowles said.

The lawyer said his client shared new “critical” information with local sheriffs as they await findings from the FBI and prosecutors.

“We are convinced that this was sabotage and Hannah is being framed. We believe that the scene was tampered with as well before the police arrived,” Bowles said, without providing any details to back up his claim.

I could believe it was some kind of conspiracy.

There were definitely a lot of weird things happening on that set, it seems.

Alec Baldwin is finally taking a bold stand against his own self.

Actor Alec Baldwin wrote on social media Monday that a police officer should be present for every movie production that uses guns, “fake or otherwise,” following the on-set mishap that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Baldwin, who shot and killed Hutchins on the set of his Western “Rust” in late October after he was handed a gun he was told was safe, posted the missive on his now-private Twitter account early Monday morning.

“Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety,” Baldwin, 63, wrote, sharing the same message to his Instagram account.

Typically, that burden falls on trained and professional armorers who oversee weapons on-set and follow strict safety guidelines, which Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed claims she abided by in the moments leading up to the on-set tragedy.

If you’re thinking “this isn’t about guns, it’s about Alec Baldwin and his crew being completely irresponsible,” then you’re a racist.

But seriously – he is trying not to get sued over this.

Gun control is one of these issues that is fundamentally important on the face of it, but gets spun into endless, dumb polemics. The Alec Baldwin event was good for both sides of the argument.

A furious Nicolas Cage stormed off the set of a film where Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was in charge of weapons — and ripped the rookie armorer for firing a gun without warning, crew members said in a new report.

The 24-year-old “Rust” armorer — in charge of guns when Alec Baldwin shot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins last Thursday — was repeatedly accused by crew members of breaking basic safety protocols on the Montana set of Cage’s “The Old Way” in August, they told the Wrap.

Cage even walked off set screaming at Gutierrez-Reed after she fired a gun without warning for the second time in three days, the movie’s key grip, Stu Brumbaugh, told the outlet.

“Make an announcement, you just blew my f—ing eardrums out!” Cage yelled before walking off in a rage, Brumbaugh recalled.

Brumbaugh even told the assistant director of the armorer, “She needs to be let go,” he recalled.

“After the second round, I was pissed off. We were moving too fast. She’s a rookie,” he said, saying that it was only after complaining that he found out it was the key crew member’s first movie in charge of weapons.

Brumbaugh detailed a series of complaints that were made about Gutierrez-Reed, including that she walked onto the set with live rounds or blanks without announcing it to the cast and crew.

She also walked around with pistols tucked under her armpits such that they were pointing back at people, and allowed firearms to be aimed at people, Brumbaugh told the Wrap.

Another crew member — who spoke on the condition of anonymity — confirmed the concerns.

Gutierrez-Reed “put the cast and crew in several unnecessary and dangerous situations,” the unidentified crew member told the Wrap.

You can’t just hire incompetent women for important jobs and expect that no one will die.

But I guess the general stance of the society now is: “it doesn’t matter if people die as long as we have women in control.”

From the way the media covers coronavirus, you’d think that “people not dying” was incredibly important to them. But that is a complete ruse.
