A lot of people seem to think the “eat the bugs” thing is some cute joke, or some stupid QAnon bullshit.

It’s really not.

They are actually going to force you to eat bugs.

New York Post:

“CBS Saturday Morning” featured a segment suggesting adding insects into a diet could provide benefits for a growing world affected by climate change.

To counter meat, soybean-derived proteins, or other high-carbon foods, the segment described efforts by climate experts and scientists to explore farming bugs to protect the planet.

“We all know how important insects are for the environment, but climate researchers say bugs could be a game changer in the fight to protect the planet in ways you may not have imagined,” host Dana Jacobson said.

Reporter Tina Kraus explained, “Adding some insects to the mix is customary in the kitchen in some parts of the world. Now climate experts think the protein-packed pests could offer a real solution to the global food crisis. Scientists in Germany are not pushing to get the critters your plate, they see another benefit.”

One scientist interviewed said their intention is not to force bugs onto menus but be used as an alternative for animal feed.

“To have a more sustainable production of proteins, we need this and I see insects as a perfect tool,” the scientist argued. “And you can make so many things out of insects, and to make the world better.”

They’re not just going to give you Asian-style piles of insects to eat, if that’s what you’re thinking.

They’re going to start integrating bugs into normal foods, using “cricket flour” and other bug-based ingredients.

These gross-out photos are probably basically meant to confuse the issue, so that when you finally read the ingredients on your breakfast cereal or protein bar and realize you’re already eating bugs, you say to yourself “oh well – this isn’t so bad.”

Frankly, most of the ingredients in processed food right now are worse than bugs.

I don’t know how someone can eat breakfast cereal or protein bars – just for example – and then act like it’s some big outrage they’re going to start putting bugs into these processed fake foods.

You should either make your own food out of whole foods (that is, meats and vegetables that you buy fresh), or you should eat at really expense restaurants every day. Anything that is in a box or a bag in the grocery store is already worse than bugs. And yes, I would include the crap boxed food that says “organic” and “gluten free” and so on (though yes, that stuff at Amazon Whole Foods that costs three times more probably is a little bit better, I would guess – but it’s still crap).

The Science Using Gene Therapy to Make Men Infertile https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/04/20/the-science-using-gene-therapy-to-make-men-infertile/ Thu, 20 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000

Oh.

I didn’t think this was possible?

It is possible?

Would it be possible for someone to do this without telling you?

Huffington Post:

Scientists think they’ve found a new way to offer contraception to men – and this time, they’re going straight for the sperm.

More than 60 years after the female contraceptive pill was first sold in the UK (yes, you read that correctly), scientists think they’ve made a breakthrough in creating a suitable alternative for men.

A study, published in Nature Communications, honed in on mouse sperm. Scientists were able to identify a gene (called Arrdc5) which, when temporarily switched off, made the males infertile.

Scientists are now looking for a drug molecule that might be able to block the protein Arrdc5 produces for a short period of time in humans.

Dr Jon Oatley from Washington State University is the senior author of the study, and he described it as a “once-in-a-decade discovery”.

Don’t get too excited just yet, though.

Plenty more needs to be done before scientists can fully understand the Arrdc5 protein and its relationship with sperm, but it’s an optimistic start and human trials have already begun.

If it were to be successful, it would mean scientists wouldn’t have to look at interfering with testosterone levels. Previous efforts to use hormonal birth control pills for men have been criticised for triggering mood disorders and shrinking testicles.

However, Professor Richard Anderson of the University of Edinburgh – who was not part of the study – said there was still “a long way to go to make it a male contraceptive” and that it could also be a “potential cause of infertility”.

Haha.

Yeah.

Maybe.

Huh?

Utah Teacher Tells Kids They Should Eat Bugs Because They’re Killing the Planet https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/03/21/utah-teacher-tells-kids-they-should-eat-bugs-because-theyre-killing-the-planet/ Tue, 21 Mar 2023 00:00:00 +0000

It’s sort of hilarious that teachers are now instructing kids to eat bugs.

Of course, this plays right into the Fox News and Ben Shapiro agenda of ignoring real problems and focusing on all of these annoying and retarded distractions that the left throws out there.

New York Post:

A teacher from Utah’s Nebo School district went viral for doling out an extra credit assignment encouraging students to eat insects for a lesson on climate change and claiming that doing so would alleviate some of the harm done by raising cattle and eating beef, according to information obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Should we be eating bugs?” teacher Kim Cutler asked in a video that aired Sunday on “Fox & Friends Weekend.” “Yeah, because we’re killing the world by raising cows and animals,” she continued.

Kim Cutler, professional psycho

Will Harris, a fourth-generation Georgia cattleman, pushed back against the notion.

“It’s an example of a fanatic attempting to force her interpretation of science onto someone under her control,” he told co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy. “It’s a presupposition and is completely improper.”

Harris said he agrees with environmental scientists’ consensus that industrialized cattle production is wreaking havoc on the environment, but said the Utah teacher’s blanket remarks about cattle “killing the planet” are overreaching.

“For her to extrapolate that, that all cattle production is harmful, is absolutely a fanatical embracement of junk science.”

The contentious climate change assignment instructed sixth graders to write an argumentative essay about the benefits of eating insects for protein instead of cattle since cows notoriously, according to the climate agenda, destroy the ozone layer by releasing methane gas.

Students were allegedly not permitted to take a different stance in their essays, however.

At this point, it feels like everyone should be aware that the schools are totally out of control and basically unfixable, and that it is child abuse to send kids to these schools.

We should all be ready to just move on.

Instead, conservatives appear to believe that whining about it nonstop will do something – despite the fact that zero progress as a result of this whining, and the schools simply continue to get more and more extreme.

As a general matter, the fact that the American right believes that whining is a course of action is intolerable. Even if they were constantly getting caught up by retarded distractions, if they were actually willing to act, they could get somewhere. But they are distraction oriented like babies, and also totally unwilling to do anything about anything ever.

Though these things are tied together – in this retarded democracy system, the only way you can do anything is by forcing the rightist politicians you voted for to do something, and you’re never going to do that if you keep chasing after stupid distractions like trannies or school abuse.

US Dairy Policies Destroy Small Farms as Bill Gates Keeps Buying All of the Farmland https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/02/01/us-dairy-policies-destroy-small-farms-as-bill-gates-keeps-buying-all-of-the-farmland/ Wed, 01 Feb 2023 00:00:00 +0000

2021-2023: Mass chicken and egg shortages hit American farms

— End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) January 22, 2023

Let’s take a look at what is happening to the farmers, shall we?

This is something that should matter to the average American slave, because this is where their food comes from.

The Guardian:

Two decades of misguided US dairy policies centered around boosting milk production and export markets have hurt family-scale farms and the environment while enriching agribusinesses and corporate lobbyists, new research has found.

The average American dairy turned a profit only twice in the past two decades despite milk production rising by almost 40%, according to analysis by Food and Water Watch (FWW) shared exclusively with the Guardian.

More milk has not meant more profits for most farmers – or cheaper prices for American shoppers – because production costs have risen while milk prices have remained low so US exporters can compete on the global market.

In the past 20 years, US dairy exports rose eightfold – more than almost any other commodity – which has coincided with rapid consolidation across the industry, according to the FWW report.

The US Dairy Export Council (USDEC) claims booming exports have helped farms of all sizes, but two-thirds of family-sized commercial dairies were lost between about 1997 to 2017 as factory farms, exporters and a handful of powerful cooperatives came to dominate dairy. Trade association executives are making huge salaries as ordinary farms go under.

Dairy monopolies are also bad news for the climate. Even though the number of cows remains stable, planet-warming methane emissions from dairy manure have more than doubled since 1990, thanks to the way factory farms manage waste, the FWW report found.

It warns of a vicious circle in which economic hardship caused by low and volatile milk prices is driving family-scale farmers to “get big or get out”. In other words, the only way for many ordinary farms to survive is to expand their herds and factory farm which increase greenhouse gas emissions and endanger air and water quality – or sell-up to mega-dairies that do the same.

Curbing overproduction is crucial as current state and federal dairy policies are driving family-scale farms to extinction while fueling the climate crisis, according to the FWW report, Economic Cost of Food Monopolies: The Dirty Dairy Racket.

“The big picture of the economic cost of dairy consolidation is that it’s a story filled with the incredibly orchestrated and devastating farmer loss and hardship, and a worsening environmental outlook,” said Rebecca Wolf, food policy analyst at FWW. “But it wasn’t always this way, and it doesn’t have to be this way … we have to reject false solutions and instead reform policies to support farmers, the environment and the US economy.”

Consolidation in the US dairy industry has occurred at a faster pace than in every other agricultural sector apart from hog and egg production. It’s happening at both the farm level – fewer farms, more mega-dairies – and at the processing level – fewer but larger corporations and cooperatives that purchase, process and market dairy products.

…

Farmers have struggled to break even due to production costs rising faster than milk prices – which were slightly lower in 2021 compared with 2000. This is partly due to a major shift in US dairy policy away from price stabilization achieved through minimum price guarantees and buying and storing excess milk that would be donated or resold to manage oversupply, to one that encourages production and expanding export markets.

The policy shift – which includes promotion of dairy products in developing countries – helped the US become one of the largest dairy exporters in the world. As exports rose, so did price swings, and in order to stay competitive, US milk prices stayed low.

“This lined the pockets of agribusinesses while leaving farmers captive to volatile international markets … Clearly, export-focused policies have not improved the welfare of the average US dairy farmer,” according to the FWW report.

The dairy industry – which includes individuals and Pacs linked to farmers, manufacturers and cooperatives – made $5.1m in federal campaign contributions during the 2020 election cycle, according to Open Secrets, the transparency watchdog. In the same year, the industry spent $6.9m to influence Washington, lobbying hard to protect corporate subsidies among other benefits in the farm bill.

“The get big or get out push from our political and industry leaders has come true, and enabling this concentration has led to the withering of small and medium farms – and had a crushing impact on rural communities across the US,” said Sarah Lloyd, a dairy farmer in Wisconsin who helps run the family’s midsize farm with 450 cows. “Farms that have hung for a hundred years can no longer keep their heads above water due to this boom and bust system, opening up more space for consolidation … It’s a vicious cycle.”

In the past 20 years, spiralling debts and bankruptcies have been linked to farmer suicides and the decline in rural populations. “We cannot export or consume our way out of this problem, we need policies to better manage supplies to reflect actual demand so that dairy farming can go back to being a viable livelihood,” said Lloyd.

When Bill Gates takes over the food supply completely, he’s going to start feeding you vaccines.

The window to stop this from happening is closing, and the fact that hardly anyone is even paying attention to it is proof once again that democracy is a joke.

AP Claims World Economic Forum is Very Good, Anyone Who Questions Them a Conspiracy Theorist https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/01/17/ap-claims-world-economic-forum-is-very-good-anyone-who-questions-them-a-conspiracy-theorist/ Tue, 17 Jan 2023 00:00:00 +0000

“Master the Future” doesn’t sound ominous at all … 🙄

How is WEF/Davos even a thing? Are they trying to be the boss of Earth!?

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) January 17, 2023

You’d have to be completely off your rocker to think that there is something wrong with the most powerful people in the world meeting together to plan the global future without the consent of the global population.

It’s really just kooky to think that the richest people are anything other than the most morally righteous and best fit for controlling everyone.

AP:

When some of the world’s wealthiest and most influential figures gathered at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting last year, sessions on climate change drew high-level discussions on topics such as carbon financing and sustainable food systems.

But an entirely different narrative played out on the internet, where social media users claimed leaders wanted to force the population to eat insects instead of meat in the name of saving the environment.

They literally say that.

It is just pathological the way the media now calls things you can get from a 2 second internet search “conspiracy theories.”

The annual event in the Swiss ski resort town of Davos, which opens Monday, has increasingly become a target of bizarre claims from a growing chorus of commentators who believe the forum involves a group of elites manipulating global events for their own benefit. Experts say what was once a conspiracy theory found in the internet’s underbelly has now hit the mainstream.

“This isn’t a conspiracy that is playing out on the extreme fringes,” said Alex Friedfeld, a researcher with the Anti-Defamation League who studies anti-government extremism. “We’re seeing it on mainstream social media platforms being shared by regular Americans. We were seeing it being spread by mainstream media figures right on their prime time news, on their nightly networks.”

Why does the ADL consult the media on this? I thought they just existed to defend rapist-murderer pencil factory owners?

Is the WEF Jewish? Surely that’s what getting the ADL involved implies.

The meeting draws heads of state, business executives, cultural trendsetters and representatives from international organizations to the luxe mountain town. Though it’s always unclear how much concrete action will emerge, the meeting is slated to take on pressing global issues from climate change and economic uncertainty to geopolitical instability and public health.

Hundreds of public sessions are planned, but the four-day conference is also known for secretive backroom meetings and deal-making by business leaders. This gap between what’s shown to the public and what happens behind closed doors helps make that makes the meeting a flashpoint for misinformation.

Haha.

Why are they having secret meetings if they’re all very open and honest people, I wonder???

Does that makes sense???

“When we have very high levels of ambiguity, it’s very easy to fill in narratives,” said Kathleen Hall Jamieson, who is the director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania and also studies misinformation.

Oh, another Jewish group???

This article is about people who believe in “conspiracy theories,” but they do not interview any of them.

They could have called Elon Musk, who according to them is a kook theorist for questioning the WEF.

Theories about influential global leaders are not new, she said, but scrutiny of the forum and its chairman, Klaus Schwab, intensified in 2020 in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. That year, the theme of the annual meeting was “The Great Reset.” The initiative envisioned sweeping changes to how societies and economies would work to recover from the pandemic and build a more sustainable future.

So is it a theory, or are they implementing sweeping changes?

How can it be both a kook theory and also what is literally happening?

Now, in increasingly mainstream corners of the internet and on conservative talk shows, “The Great Reset” has become shorthand for what skeptics say is a reorganization of society, using global uncertainty as a guise to take away rights. Believers argue that measures including pandemic lockdowns and vaccine mandates are tools to consolidate power and undercut individual sovereignty.

Meanwhile, the popular claim that the forum wants people to replace meat with bugs is a distorted reference to an article once published on the organization’s website.

It’s not one article.

It’s also not really the main issue here. The main issue is that a tiny body of unelected shadowy figures are setting global policy at all. Whether or not the policy involves eating bugs is secondary.

In another instance, a widely shared post claimed without evidence that the forum had “appointed” U.S. Rep. Kevin McCarthy as speaker of the House before the actual vote had taken place.

No one said they “appointed” him, that’s a total lie. What they said is that he’s a member, which is a fact.

I pity whoever has to write these shill articles. They must be on the edge of sanity.

The concern, Friedfeld says, is that posts like these could introduce people to more fringe and dangerous conspiracy theories or even translate into real-world violence. Yann Zopf, head of media for the forum, says the organization has increased its monitoring of this kind of online activity and carefully watches for direct threats.

“Creating all that kind of stuff can generate enemies that people believe are responsible for whatever bad thing is happening in the world,” Friedfeld said. “Once that happens, when you believe that that things are happening in the world and a certain person or group of people is responsible for these attacks, all of a sudden, the idea of using violence to resist becomes more plausible.”

Actually, what causes violence is when people are told they’re not allowed to talk about certain topics.

No one wants violence. People want to understand what is going on with these shady people controlling the world, and what their goals are.

We want a say in our own future. We don’t want our lives manipulated for the purposes of a shadowy cabal of transhumanist lunatics.

I guess these people would know.

They are the “World Economic Forum,” after all.

RT:

The cost-of-living crisis, looming recession and mounting debt are the biggest short-term threats facing the global economy, the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual Global Risks Report has warned.

The world will hardly see any relief in the next two years as countries struggle with “energy, inflation, food and security crises,” the annual survey of 1,200 government, business and civil society professionals, published ahead of the Davos summit, said.

Two thirds of respondents suggested that multiple shocks stemming from the recent Covid-19 pandemic and an ongoing conflict in Ukraine will cause distress to the global economy in the near future, while a fifth of the experts are forecasting “catastrophic outcomes” within a decade.

…

The authors of the report call for global cooperation and claim that if authorities fail to manage the current crisis, they “risk creating societal distress at an unprecedented level, as investments in health, education and economic development disappear, further eroding social cohesion.”

WEF managing director Saadia Zahidi, who believes that the world might be entering a “vicious cycle,” warns that “in this already toxic mix of known and rising global risks, a new shock event, from a new military conflict to a new virus, could become unmanageable.”

It’s already unmanageable for a lot of people, which is leading the governments to print more and more money to keep people from rioting.

There’s a good chance that it could become unmanageable for the governments sooner rather than later. That’s what it seems to imply that the WEF is saying it’s going to be unmanageable – that they think they’re not going to be able to manage it.

It’s exhausting to see boomers claiming constantly that these people have everything under control, because that obviously isn’t true.

"no one saw inflation coming"

— yzy.eth (@LilMoonLambo) December 7, 2022

We’ve said from the beginning: the inflation has no bottom, and the best thing the government can do is manage this “default by inflation” thing as responsibly as possible.

There is no way to stop it at this point without completely destroying the world economy. Allowing it to happen would be much, much less destructive than interfering.

People think they’re smarter, and act like this is the 1980s, and you can just raise interest rates to draw down inflation. But things are way too far gone. Raising interest rates just deflates the value of assets during an inflation crisis, which makes a double whammy, and does NOT do anything to stop inflation.

You learned things in school about the basics of economics. I get that. But those basics no longer apply.

Reuters:

Globally, people are experiencing inflation at levels not seen for decades as prices surge for essentials like food, heating, transport and accommodation. And though a peak could be in sight, the effects may yet get worse.

How did we get here? In two words: pandemic and war.

A long and comfortable period of scant inflation and low interest rates ended abruptly after COVID-19 struck, as governments and central banks kept locked-down businesses and households afloat with trillions of dollars of support.

That lifeline kept workers from joining dole queues, businesses from going broke and house prices from crashing. But it also knocked supply and demand out of kilter as never before.

By 2021, as lockdowns ended and the global economy grew at its fastest post-recession pace in 80 years, all that stimulus money overwhelmed the world’s trading system.

Factories that had been idled could not ratchet up fast enough to meet demand, COVID-safe rules caused labour shortages in retail, transport and healthcare, and the recovery boom caused a spike in energy prices.

If that wasn’t enough, Russia invaded Ukraine in February and Western sanctions on the major oil and gas exporter sent fuel prices yet higher.

Known as a “tax on the poor” because it hits those on low incomes the hardest, double-digit inflation has exacerbated inequalities worldwide. While wealthier consumers can rely on savings built up during pandemic lockdowns, others struggle to make ends meet and a growing number rely on food banks.

With winter setting in across the northern hemisphere, that squeeze on living costs will tighten as fuel bills soar. Workers have taken strike action in sectors from healthcare to aviation to demand that wages keep pace with inflation. In most cases, they are having to settle for less.

The problem here is: the US government does not want to solve any of these problems. There is a way to peacefully allow massive inflation. There are many countries in the world, particularly those that have gone through communism, where the denomination on small bills is in the hundreds, thousands, or even millions.

These countries went through periods of inflation or even hyperinflation and then managed to right the ship and get everything back on track. In Vietnam, $50 is equal to over a million dong, but the currency is currently very stable.

If the US came to a place where a $100 bill was the new $1 bill, that would not necessarily collapse the economy completely. It would let all of the rich people who are holding huge amounts of debt off the hook, and it would create hard times for the middle class, but it would not lead to global collapse, necessarily.

The US government is purposefully pushing for global collapse, in particular because they think it will harm China more than it will harm them. I don’t think this is correct, and it actually seems very insane. But I don’t think we can draw any other conclusions from what we see these people doing.

The Netherlands: Government Planning to Expropriate and Shut Down Thousands of Farms https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/12/01/the-netherlands-government-planning-to-expropriate-and-shut-down-thousands-of-farms/ Thu, 01 Dec 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Haha.

They’re going to steal people’s land and then close down the food production???

Why would they do something like that???

Well, my dear boy – to change the weather, of course!

Daily Caller:

The Dutch government is planning to buy and close down up to 3,000 farms near environmentally sensitive areas to be in compliance with EU environmental rules.

It comes after farmer protests erupted this summer following a government plan to reduce nitrogen emissions by 50% by 2030, The New York Times reported. Farmers believe the measure unfairly targeted the agricultural sector, which is responsible for the largest portion of nitrogen emissions in the Netherlands, the Times added.

The government will conduct a “compulsory purchase” of large nitrogen emitters as part of a voluntary, one-time offer, announced Nitrogen Minister Christianne van der Wal, Bloomberg reported. Farmers will be offered a deal “well over” the value of the farm, according to the government plan. She asserted “there is no better offer coming” in a Friday meeting with MPs.

In response to the decision, Executive Director of Consumers’ Research Will Hild told the Daily Caller “The Netherland’s war on farmers to pursue their agenda serves as a stark warning. Americans should be vigilant against efforts by both governments and big Wall Street firms like BlackRock pushing these same dangerous “net zero” carbon emissions targets here in the US. It is difficult to overstate the recklessness of undermining farmers during the greatest global food crisis in decades. This will likely exacerbate the food price inflation we are already experiencing.”

A political party called BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB), or Farmer-Citizen movement, has embraced the protests and currently ranks fourth in polls ahead of next year’s elections, The Guardian reported. Reforming the “nitrogen law” will be the primary goal of the party, which has positioned itself as a voice for the needy, The Guardian claimed.

The Netherlands has become the world’s second largest exporter of agricultural products after the United States, and provides vegetables for much of western Europe, Washington Post reported. Over half of Dutch land is used for agriculture in addition to 24,000 acres worth of crops growing in greenhouses, the Post specified.

It’s a real shame that the government has to steal the native population’s land at the same time they’re flooding the country with infinity Moslems. But you have to understand: it’s much too hot outside right now. Everyone is getting very sweaty, and causing an odor.

We have to change the weather to cool things off, and that means stopping the production of food.

Multiple “Violent” Shocks to Global Economy Approaching, Economist Says https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/11/29/multiple-violent-shocks-to-global-economy-approaching-economist-says/ Tue, 29 Nov 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Mohamed El-Erian

All of the economic experts have been saying for years now that the economy is going to collapse totally. But the Jews in government and on the TV kept saying lunatic things like “inflation is transitory” while claiming there was no problem with printing infinity money to “fight a virus” or manage the fallout of anti-Russian sanctions.

RT:

There’s a tendency to see economic challenges as temporary and quickly reversible, but this time the world is headed for a profound economic and financial shift rather than just another recession, Mohamed El-Erian has warned.

El-Erian is the chief economic adviser at Allianz, and former CEO of the influential bond market player PIMCO.

The economist wrote in a commentary for Foreign Affairs magazine that a combination of pressures on supply, central bank tightening, and market “fragility” were all likely to weigh on growth.

“Three new trends in particular hint at such a transformation and are likely to play an important role in shaping economic outcomes over the next few years: the shift from insufficient demand to insufficient supply as a major multi-year drag on growth, the end of boundless liquidity from central banks, and the increasing fragility of financial markets,” El-Erian wrote.

“These shifts help explain many of the unusual economic developments of the last few years, and they are likely to drive even more uncertainty in the future as shocks grow more frequent and more violent,” he believes.

The changes will affect individuals, companies, and governments – economically, socially, and politically, the economist warned.

There is no doubt – the big one is coming.

In fact, it’s already here.

Meanwhile, the freaks in control of our governments are going around talking about how they’re going to put a computer chip in your brain.

Mind you, those chips will be produced in Europe. Because there is really no cost for cutting off China from the global economy, just like there was no cost to cutting off Russia.

Really, everything is totally fine, and people who complain about anything other than racism and anti-Semitism as problems in society should be in prison.
