Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Friday extended her stay-at-home order past its scheduled May 28 expiration to June 12, adding that public venues such as theaters, gyms and casinos would remain closed.

She also extended her state of emergency declaration covering the state due to the coronavirus pandemic to June 19.

She said while coronavirus cases and deaths are clearly declining, “we are not out of the woods yet.”

“If we’re going to lower the chance of a second wave and continue to protect our neighbors and loved ones from the spread of this virus, we must continue to do our part by staying safer at home,” she said in a statement first reported by the Free Press.

As unhinged as the chant of “believe all women” was, it maintained an internal consistency. When the chant began in earnest, it was during the confirmation process of then nominee Brett Kavanaugh as a judge on the Supreme Court. A woman was claiming that Kavanaugh had raped her decades ago, and it was being pointed out that there was no evidence. The response was that because with many accusations of sexual impropriety there is no evidence, you just have to believe all women.

What this new philosophy did was solve the problem of how you could possibly objectively weigh the validity of sexual assault allegations: you just assume all men are guilty.

At this point, any backtracking from that becomes nonsensical, given that the left has put so much into the concept of unsubstantiated allegations of sexual abuse. They just managed to sentence Harvey Weinstein to 23 years in prison based on unsubstantiated allegations.

But now, the Top Cunt, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, is throwing her weight behind Joe Biden and saying she doesn’t believe the accuser. This is after the celebrated “Governor Cunt” went all in supporting allegations against Kavanaugh, which had the exact same amount of supporting evidence as those against Biden (absolute none whatsoever).

Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan has spoken out in support of Joe Biden, telling CNN that when it comes to accusations of sexual assault, “not every claim is equal”.

“We need to give people an opportunity to tell their story,” Whitmer said. “Then we have a duty to vet it.”

Tara Reade, a former congressional aide, alleges Biden assaulted her in a Senate corridor in 1993. Last month, she filed a complaint with police in Washington DC.

Biden, 79, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, has denied the allegation and called for Reade’s original complaint to a congressional personnel office to be located.

He has also committed to naming a woman as his running mate for the campaign against Donald Trump. Whitmer is thought to be in the frame.

Pressed on CNN’s State of the Union over whether her support for Biden was hypocritical, given her view of allegations against the supreme court justice Brett Kavanaugh, Whitmer said “there is not a pattern” of sexual abuse allegations against Biden.

Yes, the number of allegations is the only thing you could claim to have as an objective standard. Of course, that isn’t objective. And of course, Biden has more of these accusations than Kavanaugh had.

She then disputed anchor Jake Tapper’s framing of the question around her being a woman and a survivor of sexual assault.

“Just because you’re a survivor doesn’t mean that every claim is equal,” she argued. “It means we give them the ability to make their case. And then to make a judgment that is informed.”

Everyone is going to view this bitch as being slimy for taking this stance, and she’s going to end up dumping all of the positive publicity she’s gotten for being a brutal anti-freedom cunt who strips white people of their Constitutional rights and then insults them as racist Nazis for complaining about it.

The coronavirus hysteria is going to dominate the election cycle, obviously, and after Biden made such a big deal out of saying he’d choose a woman as a running mate, it is likely that Andrew Cuomo would go ahead and go along with that promise, if he were to replace Biden as the nominee.

Top Cunt should have advisors who are able to see that the media is pulling a power play and destroying Biden, because they want to replace him with Cuomo, and she should have avoided going out there and literally attacking a “survivor” in defense of Joe Biden.

Hundreds of people protested outside the Michigan Capitol building in Lansing on Thursday, with some pushing inside while the Legislature was debating an extension of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s state of emergency in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Protesters held signs, waved American flags and even carried firearms, while some chanted “Let us in!” and “This is the people’s house, you cannot lock us out.” Others tried to get onto the House floor but were blocked by state police and sergeants-at-arms, according to NBC affiliate WDIV of Detroit.

A state police spokesman told NBC News that it is legal in Michigan to carry firearms as long as it’s done with lawful intent and the weapon is visible.

Michigan United for Liberty organized the protest, dubbed the American Patriot Rally, to call for the reopening of businesses.

State lawmakers, who are Republican-led in both chambers, on Thursday night declined to extend the state’s emergency declaration before it expired at midnight. Instead, they voted to bring a lawsuit to challenge Whitmer’s authority and actions to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

The Democratic governor quickly issued new orders stating that an emergency still exists, while also declaring new 28-day states of emergency and disaster.

“Republican lawmakers are putting their heads in the sand and putting more lives and livelihoods at risk, Whitmer said in a statement after the Legislature’s vote. “I’m not going to let that happen.”

Whitmer, who has faced fierce backlash for her strict stay-at-home mandate, extended the order earlier this month until May 15, but she eased some restrictions on public activities as the state’s coronavirus cases stabilize. Michigan, however, still has more than 40,000 cases and is one of the hardest-hit states.

The emergency declaration gives Whitmer authority to issue executive orders during a crisis; its extension is separate from that of the stay-at-home order.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday lashed out at members of a militia group who are stopping migrants at the border, declaring “regular citizens have no authority to arrest or detain anyone.”

The American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico has demanded that Lujan Grisham and New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas investigate the militia organization, United Constitutional Patriots. Some of the group’s members are armed.

“That migrant families might be menaced or threatened in any way, shape or form when they arrive at our border — often times after an unimaginably arduous journey — is completely unacceptable,” Lujan Grisham said in an email to NBC News.

You’d best start imagining migrant families getting threatened in various shapes and ways.

“It should go without saying that regular citizens have no authority to arrest or detain anyone,” she said. “My office and our state police are coordinating with the Attorney General’s Office and local police to determine what has gone on and what can be done.”

Balderas warned in a statement that “these individuals should not attempt to exercise authority reserved for law enforcement,” he said.

The ACLU of New Mexico raised the alarm about the arrests in a letter sent Thursday to Lujan Grisham and Balderas.

The letter said that on Tuesday members of the group arrested nearly 300 people near Sunland Park, New Mexico. The ACLU posted excerpts of the letter on its website with video that appeared to have been made by one of the militia members.

“The Trump administration’s vile racism has emboldened white nationals and fascists to flagrantly violate the law,” the ACLU said. “This has no place in our state: We cannot allow racist and armed vigilantes to kidnap and detain people seeking asylum. We urge you to immediately investigate this atrocious and unlawful conduct.”

There are all kinds of everyday situations where if a civilian catches someone doing a crime, he is allowed to detain them and call the police. The most routine such situation is that a store that catches someone shoplifting can detain them and call the police. A bar can hold someone who gets in a fight. And anyone can hold someone who attacks them.

I do not know the ins and outs of citizen’s arrest, but there are all kinds of regular situations where this happens.

And I’m quite sure that the boomers who are catching these wetbacks know the laws regarding this.

Which is why the ACLU isn’t saying “a citizen can never arrest or detain anyone.” Because unlike Governor Cunt, they are actual lawyers.

So they are saying that they can’t do it because they are racists. This is some new thing that Jews invented, which came up during Trump’s attempted Moslem ban. The Jews said that even though he was legally allowed to ban anyone he wanted from the country, that because he was banning Moslems for racist reasons, it was a violation of civil rights and thus he couldn’t ban them.

Of course, SCOTUS overturned that ruling by lower courts. But I have no idea how it works when it is citizens being charged with doing something legal but that thing becoming illegal because they are doing it for racist reasons.

And a federal court can’t issue an injunction against boomers in winnebagos.

What is probably going to happen is that the ACLU will sue them individually. I guess. That is what I would expect to happen. Or they will just get arrested by state cops on “menacing” charges because they’re pointing guns at people.
