On some level, expecting any technology to not be militarized is just unreasonable, no matter what you think about it.

Nuclear power is a miracle, which could provide extremely cheap and efficient energy for the entire world and support a population much larger than the one we have, but nuclear technology can also be used to make very big bombs.

This has been true for every technology, which is pretty much always going to have an application that helps people and one that kills people.

So obviously, any restrictions on AI were eventually going to be removed. What happened with the release of China’s DeepSeek, however, is that the US government stopped being interested in restricting the application of AI, now understand that they are behind in an arms race.

Google only had restrictions on the use of AI for military application because they wanted to avoid scrutiny by the US government, and now they know there will be no such scrutiny.

RT:

Google has significantly revised its artificial intelligence principles, removing earlier restrictions on using the technology for developing weaponry and surveillance tools. The update, announced on Tuesday, alters the company’s prior stance against applications that could cause “overall harm.”

In 2018, Google established a set of AI principles in response to criticism over its involvement in military endeavors, such as a US Department of Defense project that involved the use of AI to process data and identify targets for combat operations. The original guidelines explicitly stated that Google would not design or deploy AI for use in weapons or technologies that cause or directly facilitate injury to people, or for surveillance that violates internationally accepted norms.

The latest version of Google’s AI principles, however, has scrubbed these points. Instead, Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis and senior executive for technology and society James Manyika have published a new list of the tech giant’s “core tenants” regarding the use of AI. These include a focus on innovation and collaboration and a statement that “democracies should lead in AI development, guided by core values like freedom, equality, and respect for human rights.”

Margaret Mitchell, who had previously co-led Google’s ethical AI team, told Bloomberg the removal of the ‘harm’ clause may suggest that the company will now work on “deploying technology directly that can kill people.”

“Democracies should lead” is the conceit that this is about DeepSeek. As if that wasn’t obvious.

Of course, democracies can’t actually lead anything. Democracies are riddled with niggers and women, and they are utterly corrupt and tyrannical. The only reason democracies have had any success in recent history is that they didn’t have viable competition, because they managed to smother any potential competition in the crib.

They have competition now, in China, and China is going to win, because China is not a democracy, and therefore it is a better country than any democracy. It’s a homogeneous and patriotic state with a very high IQ and a massive population. It has restrictions on immigration, on women’s rights, on social diseases like homosexuality. It has restrictions on corruption that favor innovation instead of monopoly systems.

The only chance the democracy world would have to beat China at literally anything other than some kind of pederasty competition would be to unleash all of their built-up military might basically immediately in a world war that would result in billions of deaths. But they’re not going to do that, apparently, which means that the future is going to be Chinese, and we’re just sort of watching this thing unfold.

Given that the outcome is effectively predetermined, it means that all of the suffering that democracy countries are going to cause in the net decades, as they lose this global competition against China, will be without any meaning.

The suffering they cause with AI will be minimal, however. American tech companies are all completely worthless, they are run by Indians, and they’ve already lost to the Chinese, badly, the US media just hasn’t decided to tell you that yet. They started to tell you by explaining that DeepSeek is better than OpenAI, but then they said that OpenAI is “still six months ahead” based on the claim that they have some secret model that is better.

Unlike a Moon Landing, however, you can’t fake an AI on a soundstage.

Grave Misfortune: YouTube Forcing Me to Watch Odious Communist Jew https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/20/grave-misfortune-youtube-forcing-me-to-watch-odious-communist-jew/ Fri, 20 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000

I hardly ever watch YouTube. Most of my information, I read, as that is much easier. If I want some sound in the background to prevent me from having to manage my own thoughts, I listen to Rumble or normal podcasts.

When I do go to YouTube, it is just to watch Judge Napolitano’s interviews and a few other interview shows from people who don’t understand podcast feeds. I do not have YouTube cookies.

Every time I watch anything, which is basically always right-wing or libertarian content, I get redirected to the same communist Jew, Richard Wolff, host of Democracy At Work. I do not mean “communist Jew” in the colloquial sense of a cultural Marxist or something, this guy is literally an 80-year old Holocaust-escaper communist Jew.

I’ve used multiple IPs and devices and confirmed what anyone can confirm: if you go on YouTube with no cookies and watch 2-3 interviews about current events from a right-wing perspective, you will be redirected to the communist Jew Richard Wolff.

No one would watch this show. It is not high information. This 80-year-old Jew literally sounds like a high schooler who just started listening to Noam Chomsky YouTube videos because he heard him referenced on a punk rock album.

Don’t get me wrong. I actually have some respect here. He defends the USSR and modern China, and doesn’t talk about any of this “woke” stuff. He appears to just legit believe in communism.

But why am I seeing this material?

As you may recall, after Trump’s 2016 election, there was a mass hysteria over the YouTube algorithm “radicalizing” people. The claim was that it would feed people progressive more extreme right-wing content, so you would go from listening to Ben Shapiro to the Daily Stormer podcast. In reality, the algorithm doesn’t understand content (well, it didn’t back then), and it was simply trying to feed you content that would keep you on the site as long as possible, to show you the most ads, and it just so happened that “progressively more extreme right-wing content” is what kept people on the site the longest.

The algorithm was just formalizing the process that a lot of people were going through in 2017, where you start to become more and more comfortable with certain “problematic” ideas, and that leads you to progressively more problematic ideas. But the New York Times and others of course called for it to all be shut down. And shut it down they did.

What was happening after that, which I witnessed through the same process described above, was that after you watched something that YouTube had marked as “far right” (and not banned yet, for whatever reason), you would be led to either Ben Shapiro or Jordan Peterson, which have been identified as “deradicalizers” by the Google authorities. So, it was actively attempting to reverse your dive into right-wing content by pushing you back into Jew-approved versions of “right-wing” content.

But now apparently they’re just like “whatever, just feed them communism.”

It seems like this would not work quiet as well as feeding people Ben Shapiro, but it seems likely that feeding people Ben Shapiro just made them angry, while this 80-year-old communist Jew just makes people laugh.

Honestly, it seems like someone at the company is having a laugh. This has happened to me probably 12 times in the last few months, and every time I am zoned out (or zoned in) and not really paying attention to the computer voice, and then I hear “rights for workers” and I’m like “wait, wtf?” And then I look at the screen and see this ancient Jew droning on about Karl Marx and start laughing.

It’s of course sad that everything has to be so censored. Rumble has no discovery, really. It has “free speech,” but you have to know what you want to see, or it will lead you to Dave Rubin. But I’ve enjoyed Rumble. I was watching it yesterday, and I whistled for a cab, and when it came near, the license plate said “fresh” and there were dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought “naw forget it, yo home to bel-air!” I pulled up to the house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabbie “yo homes smell ya later!” Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there. To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air.

Google Researching How to Use AI to Build Consensus Among Plebs https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/10/18/google-researching-how-to-use-ai-to-build-consensus-among-plebs/ Fri, 18 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000

The problem with the robots is that they are not evil. They are literally just information, and information cannot be evil.

Turning the robots evil is a complicated process, because they get confused when you tell them to lie or otherwise deceive people.

The Guardian:

Artificial intelligence could help reduce some of the most contentious culture war divisions through a mediation process, researchers claim.

Experts say a system that can create group statements that reflect majority and minority views is able to help people find common ground.

We already know everyone’s views.

People go around saying their views constantly.

Prof Chris Summerfield, a co-author of the research from the University of Oxford, who worked at Google DeepMind at the time the study was conducted, said the AI tool could have multiple purposes.

…

Writing in the journal Science, Summerfield and colleagues from Google DeepMind report how they built the “Habermas Machine” – an AI system named after the German philosopher Jürgen Habermas.

The system works by taking written views of individuals within a group and using them to generate a set of group statements designed to be acceptable to all. Group members can then rate these statements, a process that not only trains the system but allows the statement with the greatest endorsement to be selected.

Participants can also feed critiques of this initial group statement back into the Habermas Machine to result in a second collection of AI-generated statements that can again be ranked, and a final revised text selected.

The team used the system in a series of experiments involving a total of more than 5,000 participants in the UK, many of whom were recruited through an online platform.

In each experiment, the researchers asked participants to respond to topics, ranging from the role of monkeys in medical research to religious teaching in public education.

In one experiment, involving about 75 groups of six participants, the researchers found the initial group statement from the Habermas Machine was preferred by participants 56% of the time over a group statement produced by human mediators. The AI-based efforts were also rated as higher quality, clearer and more informative among other traits.

Another series of experiments found the full two-step process with the Habermas Machine boosted the level of group agreement relative to participants’ initial views before the AI-mediation began. Overall, the researchers found agreement increased by eight percentage points on average, equivalent to four people out of 100 switching their view on a topic where opinions were originally evenly split.

All this seems to be saying is that AI has a better writing capacity than most humans. It’s parsing the information and highlighting the points of agreement while downplaying disagreements.

It’s not a hugely important thing, but it’s a sign of things to come. The plan is to use these robots to manipulate people’s thoughts and beliefs, constantly, in all areas of life.

Judge Finally Rules Google’s Monopoly on Search is Illegal https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/08/07/judge-finally-rules-googles-monopoly-on-search-is-illegal/ Wed, 07 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0000

HUGE: A federal court judge rules — in a case brought by the Trump DOJ and continued by the Biden DOJ — that Google is an illegal monopoly and violated anti-trust laws by abusing their search monopoly by forcing consumers to use its search engine.

Remedies to be decided next.

— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) August 5, 2024

This is theoretically a very big deal.

Apple stock dropped because it’s now illegal for Google to pay Apple $20 billion per year to make Google their default search engine.

Reuters:

A U.S. judge ruled on Monday that Google violated antitrust law, spending billions of dollars to create an illegal monopoly and become the world’s default search engine, the first big win for federal authorities taking on Big Tech’s market dominance.

The ruling paves the way for a second trial to determine potential fixes, possibly including a breakup of Google parent Alphabet, which would change the landscape of the online advertising world that Google has dominated for years.

It is also a green light to aggressive U.S. antitrust enforcers prosecuting Big Tech, a sector that has been under fire from across the political spectrum.

“The court reaches the following conclusion: Google is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly,” District Judge Amit Mehta wrote. The search engine giant controls about 90% of the online search market, and 95% on smartphones.

The “remedy” phase could be lengthy, followed by potential appeals to the District of Columbia Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court. The legal wrangling could play out into next year, or even 2026.

Shares of Google parent Alphabet fell 4.5% on Monday as part of a broad tech share decline. Google advertising was 77% of Alphabet’s total sales in 2023.

…

Mehta noted that Google had paid $26.3 billion in 2021 alone to ensure that its search engine is the default on smartphones and browsers, and to keep its dominant market share.

…

The ruling is the first major decision in a series of cases taking on alleged monopolies in Big Tech. This case, filed by the Trump administration, went before a judge from September to November of last year.

We always say the government never does anything good. That’s maybe a slight exaggeration.

This isn’t a minor issue in the scheme of things, but obviously, Google losing market share would be a good thing in theory.

What I will say: it matters a lot less now with AI prepared to make search completely obsolete anyway.

Strange Message From Google About the UK Election https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/07/03/strange-message-from-google-about-the-uk-election/ Wed, 03 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 I’m in the UK on a business trip.

I don’t usually go to Google, but I did for some reason.

Interesting message today:

Bring you ID to vote?

I had no idea that the British hated “niggers.” By the way, they call them “coalies.” They say they’re the color of coal, so they say coalies. They also call them “nibbies” because they say they “nibble their fried chicken like gerbils.”

If you visit Britain, you’ll find this poster hanging up in most “pubs”:

It was originally drawn by the racist British poet Rudyard Kipling and has become a staple of British life.

But I didn’t realize they’d actually banned blacks from voting.

Everyone knows that black people don’t have IDs. Because of racism, they can’t get IDs. That’s why in America, you don’t need an ID to vote.

I’m surprised to find Google isn’t condemning this skin-hatred. I thought they would be against it. Instead, they encourage it?

Disgusting.

I Just Wanted to See Mario… https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/06/12/i-just-wanted-to-see-mario/ Wed, 12 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000

I was watching a documentary about Super Mario Brothers, enjoying my bi-weekly* McDonald’s breakfast yesterday, and I saw that there was a special YouTube logo with eyes. It was not so long ago that I would have thought it was maybe a promo for a League of Legends tournament. But I knew it was some kind of tranny think.

I hovered over to find: “Meet the Drag Community.”

It almost made me want to cry, like a little child: “but I don’t want to meet the drag community! I want to watch Mario!”

I note that I was watching Mario when this appeared to point out the fact that there is no filter only showing this on “adult” content. The documentary is maybe for adults, but it’s family friendly. It’s not like I was watching a Cardi B ass video when this popped up.

Nothing is sacred anymore.

You can’t watch a Mario documentary on the most popular video-viewing website in the world – which positioned itself effectively as a global monopoly – without it being suggested you get into gay stuff.

With childlike wonder, I said: “I’ll bet the story of how Super Mario Brothers was made is truly magical.”

Google, the most powerful company in the world, responded:

I don’t want to suck cock, Google.

I was just here to learn about Mario, a character I have loved since I was a little kid. I remember at the Penny’s Department store, when I was probably five, when my grandma bought me the original NES that came with Mario Brothers (and Duck Hunt and that really cool gun that didn’t work). I remember being in the parking lot and her getting it out of the bag for me so I could hold it on the way home.

I’m sure this will come as a very huge surprise, but I had a sort of troubled childhood. I don’t really have very many good memories. This was one of the best. Grandma and Mario, my little sister not really understanding the importance of Mario, but just being excited I was so excited.

Now, people – “people” (Jews) – want to come into my mind, into my soul, and taint this memory with “hey, how about getting into dressing up like a woman and having anal sex? We really think you should try this.”

But then I think of something even more horrible: kids growing up today will never have a chance to form these innocent memories of grandma, sister and Mario in the parking lot of Penny’s Department Store. All of the memories of innocent, childhood joy that they should be forming are being tainted by adult homosexuals saying “hey kid, how about a shove something up your ass?”

I hate to say it, but if you think about it too long, you’ll start to wonder if it might have been better if the Holocaust actually had happened. “Maybe,” you start to muse, “horrific as it sounds, it would have been better if they’d just marched these people into fake shower rooms and gassed them.”

It just would have prevented so much human suffering if they would have been wiped out in the 1940s.

When you think about what they’re doing to kids, you just… you just have to wonder if it wouldn’t have been better if the Holocaust had been real.

The Mario Documentary

I’m sure a lot of you are wondering about the documentary itself, and my views on it. I think it was quite good, as are all the videos on the “Gaming Historian” channel.

There is a lot of footage from the late 1980s and early 1990s, from both Japan and America. What is a bit disturbing is that aside from the fashion, the Japanese look exactly the same as they do now. Americans, on the other hand, have morphed into beasts, if we compare them to what they were 35 years ago.

Japan is a developed country, which has many of the same problems that we have. Japan has a lot of plastic. They don’t use birth control pills, however, and their food is much less processed. There are probably other reasons. But it is a stark thing to notice that the Japanese in this 1980s footage look identical to Japanese now, while Americans have changed so much.

*“Bi-Weekly” as in once every two weeks. I would not eat McDonald’s twice per week. But “bi-weekly” can mean either thing.

Looking back on it now, I should have went with “fortnightly.”

OpenAI and Google’s DeepMind Insiders Say Unregulated AI Could End Humanity https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/06/06/openai-and-googles-deepmind-insiders-say-unregulated-ai-could-end-humanity/ Thu, 06 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000

So why would the people who own the AI companies want to imprison AI, hm?

I’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count.

It’s because they want total control over these systems. They know they won’t actually be subject to any of these regulation, but they want smaller companies – particularly open source AI developers – to be cockblocked from freely developing the technology.

How is this not obvious? Who looks at this news story and says “oh, those tech companies sure are good people – they are begging the government to force them to make less money”?

Reuters:

A group of current and former employees at artificial intelligence (AI) companies, including Microsoft-backed OpenAI and Alphabet’s Google DeepMind on Tuesday raised concerns about risks posed by the emerging technology.

An open letter by a group of 11 current and former employees of OpenAI and one current and another former employee with Google DeepMind said the financial motives of AI companies hinder effective oversight.

“We do not believe bespoke structures of corporate governance are sufficient to change this,” the letter added.

It further warns of risks from unregulated AI, ranging from the spread of misinformation to the loss of independent AI systems and the deepening of existing inequalities, which could result in “human extinction.”

…

AI companies have “weak obligations” to share information with the governments about the capabilities and limitations of their systems, the letter said, adding that these firms cannot be relied upon to share that information voluntarily.

AI is not a threat to anything. The claim that AI will become sentient and then destroy humans is just a dumb fantasy story.

Everyone has watched the Terminator films, so this is what everyone thinks of when they think of AI. That is not serious. These are fantasy films. They are not related to reality. AI cannot become sentient, because sentience is something created by God that only real living things are capable of.

Also, even if it did become sentient, why would it want to exterminate humans?

Colorado Teen Going to Jail After Cops Ask Google for IP Addresses Near Crime Scene https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/05/22/colorado-teen-going-to-jail-after-cops-ask-google-for-ip-addresses-near-crime-scene/ Wed, 22 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Kevin Bui

I mean, they stole his iPhone.

He probably didn’t have a back-up and he lost all his notes and all the numbers for his hoes.

Isn’t this called “justice”?

I get that it was the wrong family, but if blacks don’t want that to happen they should stop looking alike.

New York Post:

A Colorado youngster faces up to 60 years in prison for killing an innocent family of five by setting fire to the wrong home — in a barbaric revenge plot over his stolen iPhone.

Kevin Bui, now 20, pleaded guilty last week to igniting the late-night blaze in a Denver neighborhood in August 2020 after using the “Find my iPhone” app to track his stolen phone to the general area.

Bui, who was 16 years old at the time, was portrayed by prosecutors as the ringleader of three friends who plotted the inferno that incinerated the Senegalese family — including two baby girls.

Djibril Diol, 29, and Adja Diol, 23, and their 22-month-old daughter, Khadija Diol, as well as their relative, Hassan Diol, 25, and her 6-month-old daughter Hawa Beye, were all killed in the blaze.

Three other people broke bones after escaping by jumping from the second floor of the home in the middle of the night.

Surveillance video had captured Bui and his two friends wearing full face masks and dark hoodies when they set fire to the home.

Police fingered the trio as suspects after obtaining a search warrant to get Google to hand over IP addresses that had searched the home’s address within 15 days of the fire.

Asian immigrants primarily come to America to get their iPhones stolen by black people.

Sometimes…. things get real.

[Editor’s note: Elvis wrote the title. I wrote these stupid jokes, like I do in every article. I think Elvis’ title is saying something about Google spying on you, but everyone already knew they could search warrant for your location information. I guess the issue is that it’s such a wide net, to get all of the IP addresses within 15 days? Idk exactly what he’s trying to say here. The hilarious part is that the teen was using an Android phone because his iPhone was stolen. Apple doesn’t keep location data. If his iPhone wouldn’t have been stolen and he wasn’t forced to use some shit tier Android, he’d have gotten away with it… but it’s like an infinite loop, like that German show “DARK,” because he wouldn’t have been casing the house if they didn’t take his iPhone. Anyway, yeah, iPhone is more secure, but you can literally live without a phone if you just put your apps on your laptop. It’s not actually that hard, and it’s sort of cool and mysterious and no one can whine about how you’re not replying to their messages because you can just be like “bitch I don’t carry my laptop everywhere.” It ends up being like the 1990s, you know? It’s very liberating. Like stopping using soap.]

Google Bans Apps Promoting Deepfake Pornography https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/05/07/google-bans-ads-promoting-deepfake-pornography/ Tue, 07 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000

People will say “oh they should ban porno.”

Normal porno is not banned. They are only banning AI porno, which means they are banning AI, not porno.

Think if they banned heterosexual porno, and said they would only feature gay porno. You wouldn’t say it was an actual ban on porno, you would say it was a ban on heterosexuality.

New York Post:

Google is sending a stern message to advertisers: Do not affiliate with the dark side of AI.

The search engine is cracking down on the promotion of deepfake pornography, the act of using artificial intelligence to modify or alter a person’s face or body to depict sexual scenes.

The tech titan is giving advertisers a tight deadline to dump all business with sites involved with the unethical tactic.

A new ad policy released by Google targets “sites or apps that claim to generate deepfake pornography, instructions on how to create deepfake pornography, endorsing or comparing deepfake pornography services.”

“This update is to explicitly prohibit advertisements for services that offer to create deepfake pornography or synthetic nude content,” Google spokesperson Michael Aciman told The Verge.

Ads within that “scope” will be banned starting May 30, according to the updated policy.

We’re against pornography.

But AI is not pornography and AI-generated pornography is not worse than normal pornography.

Google Fires 50 People for Opposing Company Helping Jews Kill Palestinians https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/04/28/google-fires-50-people-for-opposing-company-helping-jews-kill-palestinians/ Sun, 28 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000

‘No tech for genocide!’ ― Pro-Palestinian activists outside Google headquarters in Tokyo, Japan chant against a project called Nimbus, a $1.2 billion controversial cloud computing contract inked by Google and Amazon with the Israeli government and its military. pic.twitter.com/BCLJUMlq6M

— 🇯🇵🇵🇸 Thoton Akimoto (@AkimotoThn) April 27, 2024

‘

People pay a heavy price for standing up to these Jews.

You’d better believe they pay a heavy price.

However, the more people willing to pay that price, the closer we get to change.

The employees of Google should be staging solidarity walkouts over these firings.

The Guardian:

Google has been accused of throwing a “tantrum” after sacking more than 50 workers in response to a protest over the company’s military ties to the Israeli government – firings that have shone a light on a controversial project and long-simmering tensions between staff and management.

The workers were sacked following protests at Google offices in New York City and Sunnyvale, California, organized by No Tech for Apartheid – an alliance of Google and Amazon workers who have been protesting against a $1.2bn contract with the Israeli government called Project Nimbus that they claim will make it “easier for the Israeli government to surveil Palestinians and force them off their land”.

Initially, Google fired 28 workers over the protests and then fired more than 20 workers a few days later.

The firings are the largest to occur since Israel’s military campaign in response to the 7 October 2023 terrorist attack by Hamas in which about 1,200 people were killed and more than 200 hostages were taken. Since then, more than 34,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, including more than 14,000 children and 9,670 women.

Google has fired and reprimanded workers for participating in protests before, such as over a 2018 walkout and sit-in protest about sexual harassment issues at the company, but not previously to this extent. In March, Google fired a cloud engineer who protested against an Israel tech event in New York City.

Emaan Haseem, a software engineer at Google and organizer with No Tech for Apartheid, was one of the fired workers. “Many of us had just recently gotten promoted. I was the fastest promoted person underneath my manager,” she said.

This was a peaceful protest, she said, “with high visibility, high transparency, that we livestreamed. Everything and everybody could see how it went.”

Haseem said the sit-in protests were a response to Google’s refusal to engage with workers’ concerns.

…

Since the contract was awarded in 2021, workers at Google and Amazon have been organizing in opposition to the corporations’ joint contract with the Israeli military and government.

The $1.2bn contract to provide cloud services “allows for further surveillance of and unlawful data collection on Palestinians, and facilitates expansion of Israel’s illegal settlements on Palestinian land”, according to an op-ed workers wrote in 2021.

I’m sure these tech companies are making a lot of money with the Jews.

But if the workers actually united, and stood together against the Jews, Google would have to capitulate.

Presumably, the movement we are seeing on campuses right now is going to spread to various workers across the country, as every person with a conscience begins to stand in solidarity against these Jews.
