Isolated by Modernity

In the past, isolation often meant death, but thanks to the wonders of Modernity, humans nowadays can survive with little to no contact with other humans.

Need food? Push a button.

Need emotions? Stare at some glowing screen.

But it appears that social isolation has a negative physical effect on humans, especially males.

Study Finds:

Cancelled weekend plans and unanswered text messages always tend to sting from a psychological perspective, but now a new study finds that days and nights spent all alone may cause us physical pain as well. Researchers at the University of Surrey and Brunel University London say that social isolation may lead to increased bodily inflammation.

As part of the largest research initiative on this subject to date, the study’s authors analyzed 30 previous studies that had explored the possibility of a connection between physical inflammation and social isolation.

“Loneliness and social isolation have been shown to increase our risk of poorer health,” says Dr. Kimberley Smith, Lecturer in Health Psychology at the University of Surrey, in a release. “Many researchers propose that part of the reason for this is because they influence the body’s inflammatory response.”

…

Interestingly, it also appears that social isolation is more likely to be harmful from a physical perspective for men than women. The study’s authors don’t have an explanation for this gender fluctuation as of yet, but say it’s probably linked to the different ways men and women deal with social stressors.

It’s not surprising.

Women are solipsistic creatures that could happily spend their entire lives rubbing their clitorises and playing with their hair if someone locked them up in a tower.

Men, on the other hand, are intended to interact with other men, to coordinate and work together to achieve goals, fight and build stuff.

“The evidence we examined suggests that social isolation may be linked with inflammation, but the results for a direct link between loneliness and inflammation were less convincing. We believe these results are an important first step in helping us to better understand how loneliness and social isolation may be linked with health outcomes,” Dr. Smith explains.

“Our results suggest loneliness and social isolation are linked with different inflammatory markers. This shows how important it is to distinguish between loneliness and isolation, and that these terms should neither be used interchangeably nor grouped together,” concludes Christina Victor, Professor of Gerontology and Public Health at Brunel University London.

Self-inflicted isolation is an understandable response to the degeneracy that is so rampant in the world these days.

People are self-quarantining from the worst disease that was ever known to man: Jewishness.

But we may have to accept that maybe we cannot escape being exposed to this corruption.

You can hide, but The Tranny is still there.

The Jews are still out there.

Satanists are still out there drinking blood and eating the bone marrow of babies.

You need to get out there and claim your place in the world.

We can fight off the bad parts together.

UK Student Who Googled “How to Make a Friend” Faces Jail After Sex Assault Conviction for Touching a Schoolgirl on Her Arm https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/10/10/uk-student-who-googled-how-to-make-a-friend-faces-jail-after-sex-assault-conviction-for-touching-a-schoolgirl-on-her-arm/ Thu, 10 Oct 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

Jamie Griffiths

In the near future, men talking to women unless the women talk to the men first may be a criminal offense.

Daily Mail:

A ‘shy and awkward’ student is facing jail after he touched a teenager in an attempt to befriend her.

Jamie Griffiths, 19, Googled ‘how to make a friend’ then came into contact with the 17-year-old during two attempts to engage her in conversation.

The victim burst into tears during the second encounter and went to police with her mother, claiming Griffiths ‘would have touched her breast had she not moved away’.

She claimed her school work suffered as a result of the contact, leaving her unable to sit her mock exams and apply to Oxford University.

Griffiths, who lives with his parents and now studies at Durham University, denied two charges of sexual assault, claiming he was ‘shy, anxious and awkward’.

He said he had ‘clumsily’ approached the girl in an attempt ‘to make a friend but the words didn’t come out.’

Griffiths was convicted at Manchester Magistrates’ Court and will be sentenced later this month. The offence carries a maximum sentence of ten years jail if dealt with at a crown court and he faces being ordered to sign the Sex Offender Register.

The incidents occurred between October and November last year while the pair were studying A levels at a secondary school in Knutsford, the court heard.

The girl, now 18, said she had been walking home when she encountered Griffiths on a railway bridge.

She told the hearing: ‘I saw him facing a hedge and I thought it was really weird. As I walked towards him, he suddenly swung round so he was facing me.

‘As soon as he moved I moved and said: ‘stop’ and he touched my arm. I sort of jolted out of the way and went into the road to avoid him and he very quickly walked away.

Wait. That’s it?

That is why this young man may be jailed?

‘I think it would have been on my breast had I not moved. When it first happened I didn’t think much of it. I forgot about it because I had my exams and just thought it was weird behaviour.’

She said she encountered Griffiths a second time: ‘He suddenly moved to walk in front of me, looked me straight in the eye, touched me on my side and walked off.

‘It was quite a while – three to five seconds. He smirked at me, he didn’t stop he just touched me and walked off and I broke down crying – it was quite traumatic.

‘I struggled for a couple of months afterwards, I was applying for Oxford at the time and I found going to Oxford a stressful thing.

Okay. Hold on. Maybe she really got scared. Maybe it was a painful experience for her, sure. But looking at the situation objectively, Griffiths didn’t really do anything criminal or more inappropriate than maybe farting in public. He was just awkward.

Are we going to jail men based on what women feel, independently of what actually happened?

‘It just makes everything a little bit scarier – if there is a guy walking towards me by himself I start to panic. It was more shocking that someone thought they had the right to touch me as I walked down the street.’

Griffiths, who had been volunteering at a Barnado’s charity shop, told the hearing: ‘My intention was to make a friend. All my friends had left so I was lonely I just wanted to speak to someone.

‘She was walking towards me and I recognised her and I knew that she was a student at the school, I didn’t say anything but I really wanted to – the words just didn’t come out. I touched her but I believed that it was the arm I was touching.

‘I smiled at her, I was just trying to be friendly. I tried to get her attention and she ignored me. Touching someone’s arm to get their attention I would have thought was normal. I was looking for a friend.’

…

‘I really needed someone to talk to at the time and my intention was to make a friend – but I clearly didn’t go about it the right way and I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

‘I tried to speak to her but I just couldn’t, my anxiety kicks in and it makes it impossible to say anything. I would hate to make someone feel uncomfortable or scared. Maybe it is time to try to make friends another way.’

If he was looking for a friend, he should have talked to a man. Women are not friends. But he can’t really be blamed here for thinking he could befriend a girl considering the widespread Equality myths of women being human and just like men and all that.

One of the things he said when describing the encounter stands out though.

He said “the words didn’t come out.”

It may sound silly or something that could be shrugged off as him being shy, but it may also be a symptom of an infection currently spreading in our society.

People appear to be losing the ability to talk to each other face-to-face.

Daily Mail:

Smartphones may have become a constant fixture in our lives, but now many Britons have stopped making ‘daunting’ voice calls – and rely on messaging services such as WhatsApp instead.

One in four of us make fewer than five mobile calls a month, and one in 17 – six per cent – make none at all, according to research used by the telecoms industry regulator Ofcom.

The figures follow previous studies which found that young people, in particular, find making voice calls difficult – which suggests the use of landline and mobile phones for an old-fashioned chinwag will fall further.

We’ll see what being raised by tablets does to the upcoming generations.

Why Isn’t There a Pro-Russia Transformers Movie Yet? https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/08/25/why-isnt-there-a-pro-russia-transformers-movie-yet/ Sat, 25 Aug 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Roy Batty

Sometimes, I think that friendship with Russia would be the easiest fucking thing.

We are literally one Transformers movie away from most Americans being ready to accept Russians as their best pals.

Imagine the scene: Downtown Gotham. The regular Autobot heroes are in trouble, surrounded by the Decepticons and pinned down.

Then all of a sudden, reinforcements come leaping into the frame – a fucking white, red and blue tank firing shells goes off a ramp, lets off a few more rounds mid-air and then starts the whole transformation thing as it barrels for Starscream and dropkicks him into the Wall St. stock exchange.

Here watch this to get into the whole spirit of the movie:

POW! As the smoke clears, the Autobots recognize their long lost friend, Commukon, who abandoned the fight and went underground in Siberia decades ago.

“I’m bek in ze fight!” he says with a thick, guttural robot Russian accent.

The Autobots seize the opportunity and start fighting again with renewed vigor. Working together, Commukon and Optimus start taking down Megatron.

Megatron, however, reveals his secret weapon, a hidden gun turret or something.

Exchanging a quick, but powerful glance, the two hero Autobots spring into action, trusting each other completely. Optimus peels left and Megatron starts aiming his turret at him as he runs between skyscrapers.

“Now I’ve got you!” he says with his metallic voice.

Just as his weapon powers up to 100% though, Commukon appears from behind a skyscraper on the other side of Megatron. He jumps, and everything switches to slow-mo. His shadow alerts Megatron, who starts turning slowly, but it’s too late. Commukon reveals his hidden secret weapon, a rusty scythe-like looking weapon. It cleaves through Megatron’s gun turret at the last second, causing it to explode on Megatron and Commukon.

The shocked onlookers of Gotham are swept up in the blast wave from the explosion.

Optimus Prime approaches the smoldering wreck of Megatron and says something hero-y, “now your reign of terror is over Megatron.”

Megatron coughs and groans and fizzles and lets off sparks in response.

Then Optimus runs over to Commukon, who is lying in the blast crater, wounded. His armor is all rusty and banged up, he isn’t in the best shape, even from before the blast. The blast has revealed an older, blood-red coat of paint, mixed with yellow. But Commukon has clearly opted for a new coat of arms, the white red and blue.

“Old friend,” he begins, but starts hacking and coughing and oil starts pouring out. “Shh,” Optimus interrupts.

But Commukon insists. “I lost my vay, moy frend. But I just hed to hyelp zis time. Von lest tiem.”

“I couldn’t have done it without you, Commukon,” Optimus says. “Everything is going to be alright now.”

Cue swelling music as they clasp hands and Optimus pulls Commukon to his feet, throwing his arm over his shoulder to prop him up as they surveil the ruins of the city and the denizens who haven’t been squished start cheering.

A giant American flag gets unfurled down the entire length of the Empire State building. A cut scene to Moscow, where people are cheering on Commukon in the Red Square as well.

“Now, there shall be peace!” Optimus says to the camera.

FIN.

So there’s my pitch.

I think that overnight, Russians and Americans would be friends. Maybe not the politicians, but definitely the regular people. That’s literally all it would take. One symbolic Transformers movie, and we’ll have world peace.

Is that too much to ask from Hollywood?
