Frankly, the Russia thing is not really going very good. Russia is too big and powerful of a country to fight with a ragtag band of lovable scamps. Canada, on the other hand, is a very shitty country occupied by fags, and it would be very easy for a neo-Nazi group to deploy and actually win.

I wasn’t going to write about the smoke, because anyone in America doesn’t need to hear about it. I skipped it the first time, but now it’s back and I have to say: it is time for a regime change in Canada.

This is a total outrage.

Protip: global warming is a hoax. Seriously. I think people don’t understand what I mean: it is completely fake. They thought they could get away with it because ice core samples from Antartica show that the earth is in the process of warming, due to a natural cycle of the sun. Exactly like they blamed coronavirus for something that was already happening – the flu – they could blame cars and cows for slight temperature rises and do whatever kind of bullshit they want to do. But it really just hasn’t been warming at all.

The Canada forest fires are not because of global warming. Forests all naturally burn. This is not controversial. Everyone knows that forests replenish themselves with fire every once in a while.

It is amazing you people believed that this smoke is all in the air because you don’t eat bugs yet and still haven’t saved up enough for a Tesla.

That is like, the stupidest lie ever. It’s almost dumber than “the Ukraine is going to win a war against Russia” or “coronavirus is exactly like the flu and has the exact same fatality rate – except that you lose your sense of smell, so it’s actually a different and totally new virus.”

Of course, this is the modern era, so we humans can stop fires from starting, because they cause us problems. You have to do “forest management,” and physically remove debris – mostly big logs – from the forest if you don’t want them to eventually burn.

The reason these fires are so huge now is that Canada has been putting them out and not letting the natural process occur.

By increasing the spacing between trees and bushes and removing dead and fallen vegetation, we can create a better chance for healthy trees and plants to withstand a wildfire.

It’s really a lot less complicated than some voodoo about eating bugs to please the weather gods. It’s not a secret at all, but somehow, the media doesn’t mention that Canada could have very easily prevented this debacle by removing the debris. If you increase spacing, as the paper says, you don’t need to remove debris at the same rate.

You either do that, or you stop putting them out and just let them burn naturally when they happen. You can’t keep putting them out and letting all that debris build up – or you eventually get what we have now.

Canada should be taken to task.

A California “shaman” charged with starting a wildfire that is threatening thousands of homes claimed it started by accident — while she was boiling bear urine to drink, according to local reports.

Alexandra Souverneva, 30, faces up to nine years in prison for allegedly sparking the Fawn Fire, which has destroyed 41 homes and 90 smaller structures and is threatening 2,340 others, officials have said. She has pleaded not guilty.

She is now being eyed for possibly starting other fires across the Golden State, according to the Redding Record-Searchlight.

As the fire in Shasta County raged on Wednesday, Souverneva claimed she’d been hiking and trying to get to Canada, according to documents obtained by the outlet.

She told forest officials that she was thirsty and had come across a puddle of what she believed to be bear urine — and tried to make a fire to boil it, according to documents obtained by the outlet.

She found it was “too wet for the fire to start,” so she downed the water that she thought was animal urine and continued on her way, the report said.

Souverneva eventually got trapped in the brush amid the inferno and had to call the fire department to help her, according to the report.

She was asked to empty her pockets and fanny pack — which had CO2 cartridges, a cigarette lighter and an item “containing a green, leafy substance she admitted to smoking that day,” according to Cal Fire officer Matt Alexander.

Workers at a nearby quarry reported seeing a woman toss two small CO2 cartridges that matched the ones found in her bag on the same day the Fawn Fire ignited, Alexander said in court documents.

On her LinkedIn, Souverneva lists “shaman” as her current occupation and indicates that she was a doctoral student at SUNY’s New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry.

An attorney for Souverneva told her initial court hearing that she’d made statements to law enforcement that indicated a possible mental health crisis “or something to do with drug abuse.”

“She is also under suspicion for starting other fires,” said the attorney, who was not identified by the paper.

Alexander said in a report that “there is a high possibility she is responsible” for a fire the previous evening, too.

Authorities in southern Oregon charged a 41-year-old man with starting part of one of this year’s most destructive fires, saying he lit the fire in a small Oregon town as a larger blaze moved toward the area.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said the Almeda Fire started around 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Ashland, Ore., and then began spreading north along Interstate 5. Around 5 p.m., residents reported that a man had started a fire in Phoenix, a town of about 4,500 people just north of Ashland that was under orders to evacuate, authorities said.

The Sheriff’s Office said police officers discovered Michael Jarrod Bakkela at the scene, denying that he started the large fire nearby. Police arrested him on a parole violation.

On Friday, the Jackson County district attorney charged him with arson, criminal mischief and reckless endangering.

Mr. Bakkela, who could not be reached, had not yet been appointed a lawyer, said Beth Heckert, the county’s district attorney. He was scheduled to be arraigned in court on Monday, she said.

Mike Moran, a public information officer for the Jackson County sheriff, said Mr. Bakkela had a criminal record and was well known to local law enforcement. A news release from the Sheriff’s Office described him as “a local transient.”

While many wildfires on the West Coast this year have burned through remote areas and parts of rural communities, the Almeda Fire hit a series of towns along the freeway in southern Oregon, destroying an estimated 500 homes and 100 businesses. Mr. Moran said authorities were still investigating the fire’s initial point of origin in Ashland. He said that they suspected arson there, too, and that they found the remains of one man near the fire’s start.

Even as this man was being arrested, CNN and the FBI were protecting their Antifa assets, claiming that anyone who thinks Antifa could be behind these fires is an evil QAnon theorist.

Authorities in Oregon are pleading with the public to only trust and share information verified by official sources about the unprecedented wildfires sweeping the state. The pleas come as law enforcement agencies described 911 dispatchers being overrun with calls about a false online rumor that “Antifa” members had been arrested for setting the fires — a claim promoted by the anonymous account behind the QAnon conspiracy theories.

The incident highlights how online conspiracy theories, a sustained right-wing campaign to create increased fear of anti-fascist groups, and amplification of false claims by QAnon followers, have real consequences.

On Friday, the FBI responded, saying, “reports that extremists are setting wildfires in Oregon are untrue.”

“Rumors spread just like wildfire,” the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office warned in a Facebook post Thursday, adding that staff had been “overrun with requests for information and inquiries on an UNTRUE rumor that 6 Antifa members have been arrested for setting fires” in the area.

It’s just unbelievable that they would try to associate people speculating about Antifa with QAnon.

I mean, as I said on Friday: Antifa has been setting fires in Oregon for over three months. So if you see a fire in Oregon, any normal person’s mind is going to go to Antifa.

The FBI defending them is so sickening.

At time of writing, these remain the biggest fires in recorded history, and a total of half a million people have been forced to flee their homes in Oregon alone.

Residents of San Bernardino awoke early on Thursday to a rapidly-spreading fire covering 200 acres, one of several raging in southern California.

The Hillside fire, east of Los Angeles, spread faster than firefighters could contain it during intense winds.

Another major blaze had erupted on Wednesday dozens of miles away on the far side of Los Angeles.

The US National Weather Service said conditions were “extremely critical and life threatening”.

The strong gusts of wind fanning the flames have at times approached hurricane-level speeds of more than 74mph (119km/h).

In San Bernardino, about 490 homes were evacuated – about 1,300 people, and those evacuations remained in effect by 06:00 local time (13:00 GMT) as more than 500 firefighters tackled the blaze. 

As California has gotten smugger and browner, the fires seemed to have increased in size and tempo. Coincidence? I think not.

The few rural Californians and Boomers living in leafy suburbs near the burning woods will be forced out by the fires and into the sprawling LA slums soon.

Meanwhile, energy supplier Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) cut off power to nearly 400,000 more homes across California on Wednesday as a precaution against damaged power cables starting more fires.

The utility has come in for strong criticism for pre-emptively shutting off power to thousands of properties.

The company says it is a matter of public safety but critics say the precautionary blackouts have been too widespread and too disruptive.

Massive numbers of displaced people being moved into LA slums and then cutting off the power? We all know that this will lead to an “Escape from LA” scenario down the line.

And I think we can all look forward to that.
