Most Americans quizzed in a new survey think they could win in a fight against a rat, a cat, or a goose. For 8% of them, though, even a lion is achievable.

The results came from a Thursday YouGov survey which asked 1,224 adult Americans how confident they would feel about defeating certain animals in an unarmed clash.

Rats, cats, and geese were the least threatening to Americans, with 72%, 69%, and 61% of people respectively thinking they could win in a duel, while medium sized dogs came fourth – though only 49% of people were confident about winning the fight.

Americans were less sure about defeating eagles (30%), large dogs (23%), chimpanzees (17%), and king cobras (15%), and had even more doubt when it came to kangaroos (14%), wolves (12%), and crocodiles (9%).

The animals that Americans were the least confident about beating in a fight, however, were gorillas, elephants, and lions – all tied at 8% – and grizzly bears (6%).

If you’re strong and agile, you could easily get behind the grizzly, jump on its back, and break its neck. Easy peasy.

Gender also played a role in the survey’s results, with men typically being far more confident about defeating all animals – with the exception of lions, which women were 1% more confident about beating.

Whereas a majority (60%) of men thought they could take on a medium-sized dog, a majority (61%) of women did not.

The woman would just seduce the dog instead.

Sickening.

The soldiers, who were said to have been drinking at the time, came across a woman in distress as she was being robbed of her mobile phone in Paris’s Saint-Ambroise metro station early Sunday morning, Le Parisienreports.

The men, aged between 21 and 24, ran after the thief and caught up to him near the Boulevard Voltaire in the 11th arrondissement and confronted him. A source close to the investigation said the men attempted to retrieve the woman’s property but were met with resistance from the young man and a fight ensued.

I can see it now – the titanic clash between a monkey and three frogs.

In the scuffle, the teen, who was found without any identification papers or an address, had one of his teeth chipped by one of the soldiers.

Following an investigation by the Railway Network Squad (BRF), the three soldiers and the youth were arrested. “At the public prosecutor’s office, they did not agree on what to do,” a source close to the investigation said and added: “Some wanted to give them up to the military. Finally, a prosecutor’s assistant decided to prosecute the soldiers.”

While in custody, one of the soldiers is said to have remarked: “If we have to be in custody, next time, we will not intervene to defend a victim.”

I have no idea what will happen to these guys.

Maybe they’ll be let go, maybe they’ll be kicked out of the army or maybe they’ll be found guilty of irrational hatred for the color of the skin and be guillotined (I think they still do that in France).

Police in Colonial Heights have charged two adults and one juvenile after an investigation into a viral video where one person was knocked out.

Martin Thomas Short III, 19, and James Quincy Davis, 18, have been charged with assault and battery and trespassing. Davis also faces a disorderly conduct charge.

A 17-year-old juvenile has also been charged with assault and battery, trespassing and disorderly conduct.

In Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, a horde of blacks attempted to do their favorite thing and randomly attack a group of Whites on the street.  This time, the Whites fought back.

It is happening more and more.

The police are looking into whether it was “racially motivated.”

Police are probing whether the mass brawl which erupted in Piccadilly Gardens was racially motivated.

Officers attended shortly after the fighting had stopped, at around 3pm on Saturday.

They say there were no reports of any injuries, either to those involved or passers by.

However detectives have now launched an investigation into the trouble and say they will scour CCTV footage in a bid to track down the culprits.

The probe will also include looking into whether the trouble was racially motivated.

It is not said whether they believe it was the Whites or the blacks who were motivated racially. You can clearly see in the video that it was the blacks who started the fight, but I would not be surprised if they blamed the Whites and tried to hunt them down for hate crimes.

Funny stuff. I have no idea what goes through these people’s heads. I suppose they are “anti-racist” because they have never been around people of other races, except individuals who had largely integrated – perhaps they have chatted with a mulatto at Starbucks or eaten at a Mexican restaurant, but have no idea what the typical behavior of large groups of non-Whites tends to be.

Two frozen treat slingers were arrested Wednesday after getting their licks in during a midtown turf war that could have become a stabbing, cops said.

The driver of a Mister Softee truck parked at 50th St. and Sixth Ave. became enraged when a Yogo truck pulled up just after 7 p.m., according to police.

The Mister Softee man ripped off the Yogo truck’s permit, and soon both drivers were squaring off, cops said. Then the Yogo driver pulled a knife, police said.

A machete-wielding bank robber chose the wrong time to rob a bank after he was floored by a cage fighter and bouncer who were waiting in the queue.

Steve Harris, 32, pushed his daughter to one side before leaping on the man who was threatening staff and customers with a 15-inch blade.

Bouncer Darren Frost, 42, then joined in and grabbed the man while the pair scuffled on the floor.

Meanwhile a pub landlady, well trained in dealing with brawls, pinned his hands to the floor and called the police.

Rugby player Mr Harris said his training from the sports field and the cage came in handy during the drama at Lloyds bank in Taunton on Monday.

He said: ‘I saw him in the corner of my eye and I could see he had a weapon of some sort – I thought it was an iron bar.

‘When he was around four feet away from me, I pushed my 15-year-old daughter to one side and tackled him.’

The 6ft former bouncer – who is a tree surgeon by trade – added: ‘It happened so quickly, I was making sure he did not hurt anyone including my daughter.

‘I tackled him to the floor and others helped restrain him while I put him in an arm lock until police arrived.’
