The banking crisis is clearly real, and it’s now just a matter how long it’s going to take for it to speed up.

RT:

The banking crisis could swallow another 50 regional lenders in the US if the country’s authorities don’t take appropriate steps to resolve structural issues, former vice-president at Lehman Brothers Lawrence McDonald has said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“Policy-makers will most likely be forced to introduce a much larger withholding to maintain outflows of deposits from bank accounts that significantly exceed $250,000,” he said.

The collapse of Lehman Brothers, which caused funding markets to seize up and made it hard for global lenders to get a hold of US dollars, marked the beginning of the global financial crisis in 2008.

According to McDonald, the current problems challenging the US banking sector are very similar to those preceding the infamous collapse of the financial giant.

The former executive added that US regional banks are expected to lose “hundreds of billions of dollars” with these funds inevitably moving to larger lenders, and then to treasury bonds.

The thing about this is: this could all be fixed by backing off the rate hikes that aren’t doing anything to stop inflation anyway.

Also, inflation is not really even a serious problem, especially in comparison to the collapse of the global banking system.

If they don’t move quickly to fire Powell and take interest rates back to 2022 levels, you’ll know they’re doing this to you on purpose.

It makes me sick that all those conservative talk show hosts supported this lunacy, claiming the inflation is some kind of existential crisis. If you own any assets at all, inflation doesn’t do anything but reduce your debt burden. You could actually argue that inflation is good, if you were using the kids of econ 101 arguments that are being used to justify rate hikes.

US Banks Taking Liquidity From the Fed in Wake of SVB Implosion – Biggest Loans in History of the Fed https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/03/18/us-banks-taking-liquidity-from-the-fed-in-wake-of-svb-implosion-biggest-loans-in-history-of-the-fed/ Sat, 18 Mar 2023 00:00:00 +0000

This could mean something but probably doesn’t.

It’s still worth taking note of – biggest loans in history.

RT:

US banks took out a combined $164.8 billion in loans from two Federal Reserve facilities over the past fortnihght, Fed statistics released on Thursday showed. This came as lenders rushed to backstop liquidity in the event of bank runs in the wake of the Silicon Valley Bank collapse.

According to the data, US lenders borrowed $152.85 billion from the discount window in the week ending March 15, up from $4.58 billion in the previous week. The figure, which marks an all-time high, topped a record set during the 2008 financial crisis.

The borrowing came via the Fed’s discount window, which is a tool whereby the Fed provides liquidity to banks in the form of loans against safe collateral for up to 90 days. US lenders also obtained another $11.9 billion in loans through the Fed’s Bank Term Funding Program, a facility launched following the SVB collapse and under which funding is available for up to one year.

Earlier this week, the Financial Times reported that the top six Wall Street banks have lost around $165 billion in market capitalization this month, about 13% of their combined value, in the wake of the fallout from the largest US bank failure since 2008.

Last week, SVB, which focused on the tech and startup sectors, was shut down by the US financial authorities, thus sparking a crisis in the sector. This followed the liquidation of California-based, crypto-focused Silvergate and New York-based Signature Bank.

This might seem like problem, but it’s literally not, because the Federal Reserve can print infinite amounts of money.

I’m serious. Not even joking.

If the fed wants to secure your deposits, they absolutely can. There is no printing necessary. It’s just numbers on a screen.

Of course, the real threat is actually the fact that the US dollar is not going to be the reserve currency forever, and this collapse is hastened by the sanctions on Russia, which were totally insane, and drove much of the world to back away from the US.

Now you have China brokering peace between Saudi and Iran – and where do you think that goes? Towards more reliance on the American financial system?

Anyway, the other thing to remember is that for some reason of some scheme, the US government could organize a banking crisis. I don’t really understand why they would do that, but I also don’t understand what they are doing in the Ukraine or with the sanctions.

Basically, game theory is of limited use, as the US government is not acting in rational self-interest.

Fed Rate Hike Won’t Fix Inflation, But It Will Make You Even Poorer https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/06/16/fed-rate-hike-wont-fix-inflation-but-it-will-make-you-even-poorer/ Thu, 16 Jun 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Today marks the biggest interest rate hike since the early 1990s by the Federal Reserve.

They are anticipating no interest rate cuts until 2024.

Unreal 🤯

— Pomp 🌪 (@APompliano) June 15, 2022

Imagine that these people told you that inflation wasn’t real, then that it was transitory, then that it was good, then that it was a crisis – and now they’re going to cause a recession or depression to do something that won’t actually even fix it at all.

RT:

The US Federal Reserve has announced a 0.75% interest rate hike, the largest increase in 28 years, as the central bank’s chairman stressed the need to avoid a recession and tame runaway price inflation.

The Fed’s Open Market Committee announced the decision on Wednesday, saying it would raise short-term rates by 75 basis points in a move aimed at reducing inflation to 2%. Prior projections suggested that figure could reach 3.4% by the end of the year.

“We’re not trying to induce a recession now, let’s be clear about that,” Fed Chairman Jerome Powell told reporters following the committee meeting, but noted that spikes in certain commodity prices could “take the decision out of our hands.”

You are obviously trying to induce a recession.

There is no other explanation for this series of events.

I believe a lot of people making these decisions are not nearly as smart as they think they are, but they are not this stupid. No one is this stupid.

Related:

I hate to tell you this again, but I said in March of 2020 that shutting down the economy for coronavirus and printing all the money to manage the shut down would lead to hyperinflation.

There is no way to stop that now – we are going to go into hyperinflation at some point.

The logical thing for the fed to do at this point would be to double-down on inflation to prevent the recession – but no, you’re getting both. Mass inflation (that will ultimately lead to hyperinflation) and a recession/depression.

As crypto people discovered this week, that is far from a stable “hedge against inflation.” I still think crypto is going to work well in the long run (well, Bitcoin, not the crypto market on the whole), but allowing these bubbles to simply continue to grow would have been the best option (if these people weren’t evil and this wasn’t all on purpose).

The rate hikes are decimating the stock market, and they are going to do something to real estate prices. They are hitting you from both sides, so there is literally no way to maintain wealth. This is basically a communist type program of transferring all wealth to an elite minority of primarily Jewish overlords. BlackRock and Vanguard are just going to own everything when this is over, because there is simply no way to store value.

Maybe real estate is a better bet than crypto if you’re comparing the two in a vacuum, but the property can be seized. With this “seize the Russian boats and villas because they are bad people” now the norm, there is nothing stopping them from just declaring that they are going to steal your property because you’re a bad person.

All of this is very clever, I’m sure.

There’s just one catch: destroying your own economy like this simply does not make sense when you failed to do your world government project. They are doing everything brilliantly in terms of making everyone in the West poor and transferring all of the wealth of the middle class to the tiny elite. But how is a country that did this going to compete with China and Russia (and their allies), who are not doing this?

Basically, my analysis is the only analysis that holds: they thought they were going to get China on sides, that didn’t work out, but they just went ahead with the domestic project anyway, which means China will become the dominant global power while Western nations are useless shitholes.

This speaks very much to the verses throughout the Bible about God turning the plans of evil men against them.

The funniest thing about this whole inflation crisis and maybe the funniest thing going on right now is that the Democrats have devised a narrative about greedy corporations being responsible, and appeared to claim at points that there isn’t even any inflation, and that greedy corporations are doing price-gouging.

It’s always surreal to be scrolling through Twitter and find someone with a Ukraine flag repeating completely nonsensical gibberish. This one really got to me.

That says that the GOP is involved in a conspiracy with the corporations to price-gouge people, and that this rate hike will prevent that. The massive money printing is not even a part of this new narrative.

Anyway – get ready for a wild ride.

The Bitcoin sell-off didn’t worsen yesterday, which is a good sign. If it drops to maybe $18,000, then a bunch of huge holders get liquidated on margin calls and it drops to like… $3,000? I don’t even know.

Obviously, these big Jews want to own all the crypto too, so they’re going to get the price as low as they can get it. You’ll recall that for two years I said that I thought there was going to be a drop to $20,000 at some point, and that this is probably the lowest it can go.

Michael Saylor is claiming that he’s not going to get margin called, but a lot of people are saying he’s lying. Tesla also has huge unrealized losses.

This Elon Musk tweet is getting a lot of play:

It would be pretty weird if that was a coincidence and he was just joking around typing random numbers. But it would probably be even weirder if he actually predicted these prices. That would mean he’d have to be some kind of wizard.

New York Times Says Republicans are Going to Destroy the Economy by Cockblocking Debt Ceiling https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/09/27/new-york-times-says-republicans-are-going-to-destroy-the-economy-by-cockblocking-debt-ceiling/ Mon, 27 Sep 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Yahoo! News published this as the headline:

The Times itself has sterilized it:

But they are predicting hell being unleashed.

Or rather, they’re admitting it.

It’s not really a matter of “predictions,” but simply a matter of time before the big thing happens.

It’s not as accurate, meaningful, interesting, or entertaining as my own material on the topic, but let’s take a peek at what they’re saying.

New York Times:

For nearly two decades, lawmakers in Washington have waged an escalating display of brinkmanship over the federal government’s ability to borrow money to pay its bills. They have forced administrations of both parties to take evasive actions, pushing the nation dangerously close to economic calamity. But they have never actually tipped the United States into default.

The dance is repeating this fall, but this time the dynamics are different — and the threat of default is greater than ever.

Republicans in Congress have refused to help raise the nation’s debt limit, even though the need to borrow stems from the bipartisan practice of running large budget deficits. Republicans agree the United States must pay its bills, but on Monday they are expected to block a measure in the Senate that would enable the government to do so. Democrats, insistent that Republicans help pay for past decisions to boost spending and cut taxes, have so far refused to use a special process to raise the limit on their own.

Observers inside and outside Washington are worried neither side will budge in time, roiling financial markets and capsizing the economy’s nascent recovery from the pandemic downturn.

If the limit is not raised or suspended, officials at the Treasury Department warn, the government will soon exhaust its ability to borrow money, forcing officials to choose between missing payments on military salaries, Social Security benefits and the interest it owes to investors who have financed America’s spending spree.

Yet Republicans have threatened to filibuster any attempt by Senate Democrats to pass a simple bill to increase borrowing. Party leaders like Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky want to force Democrats to raise the limit on their own, through a fast-track congressional process that bypasses a Republican filibuster. That could take weeks to come to fruition, raising the stakes every day that Democratic leaders decline to pursue that option.

The problem is further compounded by the fact that no one is quite sure when the government will run out of money. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage the United States in waves, frequently disrupting economic activity and the taxes the government collects, complicating Treasury’s ability to gauge its cash flow. Estimates for what is known as the “X-date” range from as early as Oct. 15 to mid-November.

Yeah, the virus did it.

The virus overrode the government’s ability to make decisions.

There was no possible response to a virus than to completely collapse the economy, because otherwise, someone could die.

And the entire global economy is of lesser value than one person’s life, despite the fact that literally hundreds of millions of people are going to die as a result of this plan to save “even one life.”

Amid that uncertainty, congressional leaders and President Joe Biden are not even attempting to negotiate a resolution. Instead, they are sparring over who should be saddled with a vote that could be used against them, raising the odds that partisan stubbornness will propel the country into a fiscal unknown.

It all adds up to an impasse rooted in political messaging, midterm campaign advertising and a desire by Republican leaders to do whatever they can to protest Biden’s economic agenda, including the $3.5 trillion spending bill that Democrats hope to pass along party lines using a fast-track budget process.

Republicans say they will not supply any votes to lift the debt cap, despite having run up trillions in new debt to pay for the 2017 tax cuts, additional government spending and pandemic aid during the Trump administration. Democrats, in contrast, helped President Donald Trump increase borrowing in 2017 and 2019.

The Times is obviously a cartoonishly partisan paper, but it is mostly true that Republicans are no more “fiscally conservative” than Democrats, as a general rule.

I mean, Democrats are a lot worse, but the Republicans are so bad that it is a pointless competition.

But saying that “tax cuts cost the government money” is an ideological position which has been proved factually wrong – especially given that both parties support outsourcing American jobs to countries with lower taxes.

“If they want to tax, borrow, and spend historic sums of money without our input,” McConnell said on the Senate floor this week, “they will have to raise the debt limit without our help.”

Thus far, Biden and Democratic leaders in Congress have declined to do so, even though employing that process would end the threat of default.

Jon Lieber, a former aide to McConnell who is now with the Eurasia Group, a political-risk consultancy in Washington, wrote in a warning to clients this week that there is a 1-in-5 chance the standoff will push the country into at least a technical debt default — forcing the government to choose between paying bondholders and honoring all its spending commitments — this fall.

The article goes on to just keep blaming Republicans.

It’s dumb.

But here’s a protip you can take to the bank: they’re not going to default. At least not in this way.

They are going to default through inflation.

They are going to make sure that they pay their obligations with new money.

Then, due to inflation, the dollar will become nonviable, and they will introduce their token system, where you get credits on your phone every week (assuming you’re all vaxed up and not making racist statements on the internet).

This was the plan from the beginning, and the coronavirus hoax was really just an excuse to deal with this debt system that was not plausibly sustainable any longer.

The problem here is what that will mean globally, and I frankly have no idea. Obviously, Russia, China and the rest of the free world is going to have to come up with some other solution, probably with China establishing a new digital reserve currency.

But why would America want to allow that? And what can they do to prevent it?

No idea.

CBDC: Fedcoin is Now the Topic of the Hour – It Won’t Stop Bitcoin and is Actually Good for Bitcoin https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/06/13/cbdc-fedcoin-is-now-the-topic-of-the-hour-but-it-wont-stop-bitcoin/ Sun, 13 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0000

It has become obvious that cryptocurrency is the logical money of the future.

The government is now trying to preempt the mass adoption of Bitcoin by inventing their own cryptocurrencies.

Governments across the world are talking about CBDCs (“Central Bank Digital Currencies”).

POLITICO:

The Federal Reserve is taking what may be the first significant step toward launching its own virtual currency, a move that could shake up banks, give millions of low-income Americans access to the financial system and fortify the dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency.

The idea of creating a fully digital version of the U.S. dollar, which was unthinkable just a few years ago, has gained bipartisan interest from lawmakers as diverse as Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and John Kennedy (R-La.) because of its potential benefits for consumers who don’t have bank accounts. But it’s also sparking strong pushback from those with the most to lose: banks.

“The United States should not implement a [central bank digital currency] simply because we can or because others are doing so,” the American Bankers Association said in a statement to lawmakers this week. The benefits “are theoretical, difficult to measure, and may be elusive,” while the negative consequences “could be severe,” the group wrote.

The explosive rise of private cryptocurrencies in recent years motivated the Fed to start considering a digital dollar to be used alongside the traditional paper currency. The biggest driver of concern was a Facebook-led effort, launched in 2019, to build a global payments network using crypto technology. Though that effort is now much narrower, it demonstrated how the private sector could, in theory, create a massive currency system outside government control.

Now, central banks around the world have begun exploring the idea of issuing their own digital currencies — a fiat version of a cryptocurrency that would operate more like physical cash — that would have some of the same technological benefits as other cryptocurrencies.

That could provide unwelcome competition for banks by giving depositors another safe place to put their money. A person or a business could keep their digital dollars in a virtual “wallet” and then transfer them directly to someone else without needing to use a bank account. Even if the wallet were operated by a bank, the firm wouldn’t be able to lend out the cash. But unlike other crypto assets like Bitcoin or Ether, it would be directly backed and controlled by the central bank, allowing the monetary authorities to use it, like any other form of the dollar, in its policies to guide interest rates.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Digital Currency Initiative are aiming next month to publish the first stage of their work to determine whether a Fed virtual currency would work on a practical level — an open-source license for the most basic piece of infrastructure around creating and moving digital dollars.

But it will likely be up to Congress to ultimately decide whether the central bank should formally pursue such a project, as Fed Chair Jerome Powell has acknowledged. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are intrigued, particularly as they eye China’s efforts to build its own central bank digital currency, as well as the global rise of cryptocurrencies, both of which could diminish the dollar’s influence.

…

Neha Narula, who’s leading the effort at MIT to work with the Boston Fed on a central bank digital currency, called the project “a once-in-a-century opportunity to redesign the dollar” in a way that supports innovation much like the internet did.

There are several obvious problems with this.

Firstly, everyone must note that Bitcoin already exists, and it is the perfect money.

So what is the point of a CBDC?

Well, so that the government can continue to control and manipulate the money supply. They will also be able to track you, or to shut off your ability to spend, if they decide you are metaphysically evil (racist, science-denier).

What is actually even the benefit of going to cryptocurrency if the government is going to control it, and be able to inflate it at will?

You end up with only very minor benefits. Basically, the current dollar already is a digital dollar, because most people pay using credit. Cards are slowly disappearing and being replaced with CashApp or other bank apps where you pay by scanning a QR code. So most of the benefits that a CBDC would present already exist with the current dollar.

The benefit of Bitcoin is that it is sound money – it is a limited supply, which means that it cannot be inflated. The government cannot rob you by printing money and making your money worthless. It is also a perfect balance of transparency, privacy and independence.

Bitcoin could fix our broken economic system by creating financial independence.

The only potential benefit I could see to a CBDC would be to serve as a stablecoin to replace Tether (which has a lot of problems). It would also allow the government to compete with the open market. So, I’m not against it existing, necessarily, but I am very much against the Liz Warren plot to replace Bitcoin with a pure proof-of-stake fedcoin, and use that to say “oh well, there’s no reason for Bitcoin anymore!”

In fact, the CBDC will get more people into Bitcoin!

I think there will be a fedcoin pretty soon. However, I don’t think that Tomahawk Liz is going to succeed in banning Bitcoin. The global warming hoaxery is going to fail. It would be great if the entire stupid lie would collapse, but that doesn’t have to happen – Michael Saylor’s new mining council is focusing on using “green” energy for mining, and this is going to be really easy to do. There are isolated renewable resources all over the world that can’t be used to power cities because they are too far away from them, and that is all going to be used for mining.

There is also going to be a second layer scaling of Bitcoin, with a minimal proof of stake, which will reduce transaction costs for small sums and reduce energy usage.

I know people got mad about some comments I made about Lightning limited proof-of-stake solving the electricity issue, but it will reduce some of the electricity usage and is at least a good talking point against the global warmers. Ultimately though, we need to press the point that crypto will eliminate the entire banking system, which will mean all of these high-rise buildings and the millions of employees will no longer be using their electricity. We also need to press the point that Tomahawk Liz is shilling for Wall Street and the international banking cartel.

DeFi can completely kill the banks. Individuals can loan to other individuals. There becomes no point for banks to exist.

Destroying inflation will also mean everything costs the real price, not some fake debt inflated price, which will mean that fewer loans will even be necessary.

After this hoax is jumped, there isn’t really much more to cockblock Bitcoin with. Liz Warren will have to come out and say that she just wants people to be poor because of her socialist agenda.

I’m glad Liz is the face of this, frankly, because she is proven to be so unlikable.

That fake Indian thing really killed any chance she ever had.

She’s also just such a nagging cunt.

The other big topic here – which is too big to discuss right now – is that the digital dollar might be launched as a replacement for the current dollar after the current dollar becomes so inflated that it is no longer viable.

The digital dollar will also be used to give allowance money to all of these lazy people who don’t want to work. It will be the core of the UBI thing they’re doing. So the brown people and losers will get their fedcoins to buy their bug gruel, marijuana, and porno subscriptions, while a second, real economy exists on Bitcoin.

This will allow the socialists to live out their total corporate control grid dream, while also allowing people who believe in free economies to operate separately. I think it can also be another wedge for pressing for secession.

Federal Reserve Cuts Interest Rates to Near Zero But Stock Market Crashes Anyway https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/03/16/federal-reserve-cuts-interest-rates-to-near-zero-but-stock-market-crashes-anyway/ Mon, 16 Mar 2020 00:00:00 +0000 Lee Rogers

A massive interest rate cut and $700 billion worth of debt purchases by the Federal Reserve was not enough to stabilize the stock market.

During my guest appearance on Azzmador’s Dlive stream this past Saturday, we discussed the possibility that the hysteria surrounding the coronavirus could be more problematic than the infection itself. We specifically talked about some of the potential economic implications of this situation, none of which were good.

The banking system, the stock market and the economy in general has been under tremendous pressure because of this crisis. The Federal Reserve responded to the turmoil on Sunday by cutting interest rates to near zero and announced that they would begin buying large quantities of Treasury bonds and mortgage-backed securities.

AP:

The Federal Reserve took massive emergency action Sunday to try to help the economy withstand the coronavirus by slashing its benchmark interest rate to near zero and saying it would buy $700 billion in Treasury and mortgage bonds.

The Fed’s surprise announcement signaled its rising concern that the viral outbreak will depress economic growth in coming months, likely causing a recession, and that it’s poised to do whatever it can to counter the risks. It cut its key rate by a full percentage point to a range between zero and 0.25%.

The central bank said it will keep its rate there until it is “confident that the economy has weathered recent events.”

The Fed will buy at least $500 billion of Treasury securities and at least $200 billion of mortgage-backed securities. This amounts to an effort to ease market disruptions that have made it harder for banks and large investors to sell Treasuries as well as to keep longer-term borrowing rates down.

Basically what the Fed has done is create billions of dollars out of nothing on computers to buy debt. When you combine these debt purchases with the massive interest rate cut, the Fed has deployed some of the biggest tools in their arsenal to try and prop up the financial system.

Unfortunately for the Fed, this move has done nothing to reassure investors. Stock futures crashed and the only reason they didn’t go lower was because of a built-in mechanism designed to prevent the market from going down any further.

This is not a good sign at all. It shows that the Fed may have lost control over the situation.

Under normal circumstances, a Fed move this big would result in a massive spike in the stock market. The fact that it crashed shows that there are some real problems within the system.

It’s just too bad that Ron Paul didn’t win the presidency in 2008. He tried to warn everybody, but most Americans thought that he was a kook for even talking about the many obvious systemic problems within the Federal Reserve and central banks in general.

And as we know, these central banks are nothing more than Jewish systems designed to enslave nations and their peoples into debt servitude. There is nothing of tangible substance backing the currencies that they create on computers, and what we are seeing unfold is proving that in spades.

This coronavirus situation could be a black swan event that kicks off a major crisis within the global economic system. And while nothing is set in stone, things are looking quite bleak at the moment.

Former Jewish Leaders of the Federal Reserve Lecture Trump About the Alleged “Importance” of Central Bank Independence https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/08/11/former-jewish-leaders-of-the-federal-reserve-lecture-trump-about-the-alleged-importance-of-central-bank-independence/ Sun, 11 Aug 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Lee Rogers

The Federal Reserve is a diabolical Jewish system of fraud and usury. It’s no wonder why these Jews don’t want anybody questioning its “independence.”

Last week, The Wall Street Journal published an opinion piece authored by four former leaders of the Federal Reserve. The article entitled “America Needs an Independent Fed,” was basically an attack on Donald Trump who has been publicly critical of the Fed’s interest rate policies.

It’s worth noting that each of these former Fed leaders are Jewish according to their Wikipedia profiles.

The Jew Paul Volcker

The Jew Alan Greenspan

The Jew Ben Bernanke

The Jew Janet Yellen

The entire concept of a Central Bank is just a modern day form of Jewish usury. It is an organization that creates money out of nothing on computers and charges the government interest for the “privilege” of borrowing that money. In order to pay interest on the debt, the government burdens the people with all sorts of unnecessary taxation. The entire system is nothing but a fraud and a form of Jewish financial enslavement.

Truth be told, there is no reason for a Central Bank to exist. The government could simply issue debt free money for the direct benefit of the people. But such an arrangement would not benefit Jewish money lenders, which is why we see Jews constantly rambling on about the alleged importance of Central Bank independence.

Even though Trump is not going full Ron Paul and calling for the Fed to be abolished, he is using his megaphone to question the institution’s credibility. Jews don’t want anybody from the political world questioning anything about this horrible and unnecessary institution, even if that criticism only has something to do with their decisions on interest rates. That’s because the Jewish control over money is arguably the most powerful weapon that they employ against the goyim. Without this weapon, the entire Jewish power structure would crumble in on itself.

But the very fact that we have four Jews kvetching about the importance of the Fed’s independence, is reason enough to abolish the system completely.

Media Asks if President Trump Has the Legal Authority to Fire the Federal Reserve’s Chairman https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/12/31/media-asks-if-president-trump-has-the-legal-authority-to-fire-the-federal-reserves-chairman/ Mon, 31 Dec 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Lee Rogers

In light of President Trump expressing his displeasure with the Federal Reserve, the media has been raising questions about his legal authority to fire the person who leads it. PBS News Hour recently brought on a Jew named Binyamin Appelbaum from The New York Times to give us an expert Jewish opinion on the subject.

A Jew working for The New York Times is the last person anyone should trust to provide any sort of unbiased and factual analysis about the Federal Reserve.

Essentially Appelbaum said that there was no precedent for the President of the United States trying to remove the head of the Fed or any member of its board of governors. He also stressed the alleged importance of a so-called “independent” Fed free from political meddling. His position was that there was some sort of legal grey area and that it isn’t clear if President Trump could simply fire Fed Chairman Jay Powell because he disagrees with his interest rate policies.

But why is it that the Fed Chairman does not serve at the pleasure of the President? Isn’t that the standard line we hear about every other office holder in the federal government that is directly picked by the President?

So what’s different about the Fed? Maybe the fact that it was founded as a privately run central bank and not as a government agency has something to do with it.

This is why the Fed since its founding in 1913 has been able to operate with little to no accountability. The reason why we see so many Jews demanding that the Fed maintain its independence is because it is the mechanism that gives them control over the nation’s money supply. It allows them to engineer economic booms and busts by manipulating interest rates and other financial levers. The last thing they want is somebody in the political realm raising questions about its horribly subversive activities.

It is a bit strange that the Jews are even bringing this subject up though. The average person is going to start asking some questions about the Fed when they are telling them that the President might not have the authority to fire the person who runs it. Especially since the Fed Chairman has been historically selected by the President. Now granted, it is true that these picks have mostly been part of a dog and pony show, but it is still a presidential selection. So why wouldn’t a person selected for an office by the President be eligible for firing by the President regardless of the justification involved?

This is just another reason why the Fed needs to be abolished. If there are questions about the President being able to remove the people who run the Fed, it is impossible to assume that it is an institution operating with the American people’s best interest in mind.

Earlier in the week, the Federal Reserve announced that they would be hiking interest rates and that they would be doing more interest rate hikes in the future. This announcement has caused a fairly significant crash in the stock market.

CNBC:

Stocks plunged again on Friday, bringing the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s losses for the week to 7 percent, putting it on track for its worst week since the financial crisis in 2008. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell into a bear market.

The Federal Reserve’s rate hike on Wednesday drove the losses this week and fears of an extended government shutdown only added to the pain on Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 400 points in turbulent trading that sent the blue-chip index up as much as 300 points earlier in the day, only to trade in negative territory less than one hour later. The initial tick upward came as Federal Reserve Bank of New York President John Williams said that the central bank could reassess its interest rate policy and balance sheet reduction in the new year if the economy slows. But those gains slowly disappeared as investors used that short-term pop as a chance to sell more. The broader S&P 500 fell 2.1 percent on Friday, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite shed more than 3 percent.

This was not difficult to predict. When the Fed raises interest rates they are effectively tightening the supply of money and discouraging borrowing. Generally speaking, if someone has to pay a higher interest rate, there is less of a chance that someone will go ahead and borrow money. This means less economic activity and growth.

There’s been a series of .25 percent interest rate hikes during Donald Trump’s presidency. This might not seem like a big deal, but this comes after nearly eight years of zero percent interest rates. The Fed created an enormous bubble with an easy monetary policy and they seem to be hiking interest rates too aggressively considering the situation.

The Fed and all these other central banks have far too much power. The fact that a central authority which has no accountability to the people is able to engineer economic booms and busts at a whim is completely insane. And even if you assume that the people at these institutions are trying to do the right thing, there is nobody in the world who is smart enough to fix the value of money. It’s no different than having an institution trying to centrally fix the price of oil or other commodities.

You’ll notice that the Jew-run media constantly talks about how important it is for the Fed to have “independence.” In other words, the Jews don’t want the Fed to be accountable to anyone. That’s why they fought like crazy when there were proposals in Congress to audit the Fed.

And speaking of a Fed audit, Dr. Ron Paul did an interview with the Jew Larry King where he discussed the current situation. He bashed the Fed and warned of further economic problems.

Without going into details, Dr. Paul basically thinks we are all doomed and everything is fucked. And there’s probably a 50/50 chance that he is right. Of course, nobody knows for sure. At this point, it is best just to stay out of debt and let the chips fall where they may.

None of us have any control over what’s going to happen but whatever happens is going to happen.

Seemingly out of nowhere, the former Jewish Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan has come out of hiding to do interviews about the economy. He did one with CNN where he basically said that the stock market will collapse because of a rising interest rate environment. He also predicted a great deal of problems with the economy moving forward.

But who sets the interest rates? The free market sure as hell doesn’t. Interest rates are dictated by Fed policy. So essentially he is admitting that the Fed is increasing interest rates to crash the economy.

Of course what’s happening now is no different than what’s happened many times before. The Fed maintains a loose monetary policy for a period of time then tightens, which sets the stage for a financial collapse. This process has repeated over and over again ever since the Fed came into existence in 1913. Jews have taken advantage of this engineered boom and bust cycle to repeatedly consolidate wealth.

If we look at the Fed’s interest rate policy since 2001, it shows conclusively how these economic booms and busts correlated directly with Fed policy.

Greenspan ran the Fed for almost 20 years and is well aware of how this scam works. He personally engineered the housing bubble of the 2000s with artificially low interest rates after the dotcom bubble burst in the late 1990s. He also set the stage for the big financial collapse in 2008 by aggressively increasing interest rates in the years prior.

This old Jew tries to pass himself off as some type of financial genius but he’s nothing more than a scam artist. Whenever he had to testify in front of Congress during his time as Fed Chairman, he talked in a deliberately confusing manner so nobody could understand what he was talking about. The term “Fedspeak” was coined to describe his ability to bullshit people with nonsense.

But since he ran the Fed for such a long period of time, people falsely view him as a credible person. So by putting him on television to talk about doomsday scenarios, they are intentionally trying to accelerate a collapse which the Fed is in the process of engineering.

It is not a coincidence that throughout Barack Obama’s tenure we had a zero percent interest rate environment. And just as Donald Trump takes office the Jewess Janet Yellen immediately started increasing them. It shows that the Fed is politicized no differently than how the Department of Justice is politicized.

Jerome Powell, the current Fed Chairman who Trump appointed, is simply continuing the policies that he inherited from Yellen. And even though Powell himself isn’t a Jew, there are lots of Jews around him at the Fed who have input in the decision making. Trump has admitted in interviews that he is not happy with Powell’s job performance and rightly so.

Powell was not a good pick. Trump should replace him with Dr. Ron Paul. It’s high time that we start picking people to run the Fed who want the institution abolished. It is the only principled position on this corrupt and sorry organization.

And say what you want about Dr. Paul, but with him in charge of the Fed, the institution would not be used as a political weapon. Plus, picking him to run the Fed would be very funny. Just think of the memes that would result.
