Site Seems Down? I Guess You Must be on Tor! https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/04/14/hey-hey-cowboys-site-seems-down-i-guess-you-must-be-on-tor/ Sun, 14 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000

The clearnet site is down.

Hopefully you people are on Tor.

In fact, you must be, or you wouldn’t be seeing this.

Unless… unless you are reading this after the clearnet site comes back up…

But probably, the staff that is supposed to fix this (not my staff, the staff of the company that manages this server operation) is drunk and/or hungover.

Sunday morning, you know.

Many such cases.

I’m not drunk or hungover personally. However, I did have an unfortunate confrontation with man’s oldest enemy: stairs.

I wasn’t even drunk, but someone put a rug on the stairs. It’s the worst battle I’ve ever had with stairs. Thankfully, the floor is wood, but I seem to have suffered a concussion.

Weird feeling. Feels like drunk, sort of. I’ve had this condition as a younger man, but it’s been a while.

It’s actually a bit worse than drunk. I was sending people some crazy messages.

Anyway, it’s a good time to be half-assed.

About half the readers are on Tor, so basically, a half of an ass is all I’m required to put in.

Though some would say the site has been half-assed for a while now. Those people are called: my enemies.

Nah, real talk, I’ve been working on some other stuff.

You know, I’m a middle-aged man, and I don’t make money with this website. I don’t even have a salary. It would be cool if I did, I’m sure. But I don’t. I was gonna give myself $100 a day, but it didn’t work out. That means I have to do other things in my life besides work on this site, because you know: niggas gotta eat.

But I’ve got longer term plans for the site, including in the shorter term publishing some of that Illness Revelations material I keep talking about but never feel like trying to figure out.

I was going to write a review of Fallout the show. I have some interesting comments on that. But that would require my whole ass, and [SEE ABOVE]. Anyway, this will give me a chance to finish watching it before writing about it. It is already obvious that the deformed white lass is sexually involved with the negro boy, but I think everyone already knew that. Part of my review with deal with that (and how the show is really effective race-mixing propaganda), but there are bigger and more interesting issues I also want to touch on.

The show is definitely closer to the goal of a good piece of left-wing media. Though it is not actually good, and it isn’t really even left-wing, it’s just race-mixing propaganda. (But that is literally every piece of media produced since the brutal genocide of George Floyd. Because of that unconscionable genocide, black women will never have sexual partners again. White men will get robot girlfriends, but black women can’t even figure out how to use an iPhone, so they’re not going to be having sex with any robots. This is a direct mandate of human rights. It says in the UN charter, written in 1948, Article 72, Section 34C: “…And if a black drug addict and multiple felon is ever genocided by the cops, we have to build a lot of statues of him, and also blacks will be allowed to kill people, and every TV show, movie, and advertisement will feature black-on-white cuck porn. These are our values. Shalom.”)

Anyway, whatever. Enjoy the site today. Do your best to enjoy it, even though it will only be produced using half of an ass.

The crazy part is, just like when any damage happens to my brain, I have a streak of creativity, and was planning on a whole ass day. But half an audience? Half an ass. That’s in the Daily Stormer Charter of 2012.

New Amazon Fallout Show Creatively Fuses White Women and Black Men https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/12/16/new-amazon-fallout-show-creatively-fuses-white-women-and-black-men/ Sat, 16 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000

I remember this old guy talking about Chinese cuisine and comparing it to McDonald’s. He said China has all of these tastes and textures and food rituals, while McDonald’s only serves “salties” and “sweets.” You could just order “one sweet and two salties,” because everything on the menu is the same, served to you in plastic so you can eat it while driving. The food ritual is eating while driving.

Most modern entertainment is some mix of white women and blacks in a soap opera format. These serials people watch are all just soap operas. They do not have an act-based structure, usually (unless the entire plot follows an arc, which is confusing). They are melodramatic and sentimental, with ensemble casts. They add spectacle, but they only didn’t do that before with soaps because of the budget.

The trailer for Amazon’s Fallout soap (based on the hit video game series from Todd Howard!) has a white woman and a black man leading the ensemble cast in yet another melodramatic and sentimental spectacle.

As far as anyone can tell from the trailer, there is no retro futurism. Too esoteric. Instead, you have a morality lesson about female empowerment and black exploitation.

I’ve been all through the points about how no man wants to watch a female action hero, and women don’t either, so it’s really a useless product for any reason other than social engineering.

The woman is not even attractive.

I found this photo of her on the internet:

Why is her head shaped like that? Was she dropped repeatedly as a child?

This is what they do with white girls on TV: they don’t even make them attractive anymore. They find the most passable mulatto girls on earth to put in these shows, then find deformed mutant creatures for the white girls. She might not even be white, she looks maybe half Asian (the Wiki says she’s “English”).

I don’t exactly know what the analysis is of Amazon’s game with the TV stuff at this point. I haven’t been following the analysis of potential future scenarios where AWS or any other potentially profitable Amazon department benefits from making pretty expensive TV shows.

What I think I am seeing is Amazon – and Apple – are paying tribute to the government by making these shows.

The theories about these companies being forced to hire millennial women who want to make this crap because they hate men do not pan out. Why should Amazon not want to make as much money as possible? The obvious answer is going to be that they do want to make as much money as possible and if they are making decisions that seem very obviously unprofitable, then those decisions should be considered in a larger context.

Silicon Valley companies make money by being unregulated borderline monopolies. AWS is now a cloud monopoly, which is a good monopoly to be in.

There are all of these studies about how television fiction affects your thoughts and beliefs – it’s much more effective than TV news, which has a limited audience anyway. But the CIA can’t micromanage entertainment products like they micromanage the news cycle via the New York Times. So what Amazon and Apple are doing, as far as I can tell, is offering tribute by doing something the government wants done but can’t do itself so they stay on the good side of these Jews.

It doesn’t explain why Disney is doing it, of course. But Amazon is burning money.

Amazon is not funded by profits but by stock price, and maybe research has been done internally showing that branding is important to stock price, maybe that TV shows are a big part of branding, but why would they brand themselves as this George Floyd feminism thing?

Amazon’s most popular show, by a lot, was Reacher.

Starring this guy:

He’s actually a Christian in real life, it says on his Wikipedia. He’s 6’5″ in the show, which is probably his real height.

Oh, and his love interest is a bleached blonde white girl.

Massive masculine handsome Christian white male man who does violence in the name of justice (who is also a genius ninja detective for some reason and also an expert in MacGyver type shit somehow) protecting a blonde white girl sells best, still. Even in current year.

Favorability of George Floyd materials in entertainment has not gone up. Probably, however, being inundated with this stuff has buck-broken a lot of people, psychologically, who are coming to accept a real life situation they would not have otherwise accepted.

Fallout could have just been about a white man who is handsome and masculine and jacked and then have pretty white girls as love interests (or potential love interests). That’s the business that makes the most money and people love that Reacher show so I assume it’s been good for Amazon’s branding.

But maybe it’s all Larry Fink.

I don’t know.

BlackRock and Vanguard together (they’re effectively the same company) have more voting power than Bezos.

So maybe I’m overthinking it.

Maybe “woke capital” is the explanation, and I just don’t want to accept it because people I don’t like shill it everywhere (while also calling for maintaining deregulation norms for monopoly style corporations pushing the “woke agenda”).

Or, maybe Elon Musk will buy Netflix and publish their records and FBI Special Agent Elvis Chang will be constantly emailing them telling them to add more black people to shows.

Starfield is a Really Bad Game https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/09/19/starfield-is-a-really-bad-game/ Tue, 19 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0000

Going into Starfield, I was fully ready for a ridiculously woke experience. I think we all knew that was coming, and that’s just whatever. There’s nothing much to say about the fact that virtually every NPC in the game is nonwhite, and that they seem to purposefully make them all as ugly as possible. It is more interesting that, totally outside of anything political, the game is horrible. This follows an ongoing trend of major game studios releasing games that are both very woke and very bad.

I understand that many people don’t want to play a game that is woke, and I would generally agree with that. However, there is no reason, necessarily, that a game being ethnically cleansed of white people would mean it is necessarily a bad game. And yet, every game we’ve seen over the last several years that follows this model just so happens to be a very bad game.

Starfield feels less fresh than Fallout 4, which was released 8 years ago, in 2015. You’d expect something to have improved, and you would expect a company like Bethesda to be attempting to match or surpass the visual fidelity of games being released by other major studios. It’s clear that they did not even try. Instead, the visuals are ostensibly identical to Fallout 4, but it is certainly arguable that the changes that were made make the experience worse. The framerate is worse and the physics somehow seem worse, with the ragdoll mechanics upon death looking like something from Nintendo 64. Bizarrely, the entire game is covered with some kind of misty blur filter that is designed to distort the graphics and make it less obvious how crappy the textures are.

I am able to think of several games released by small indie studios that look better than Starfield. An obvious comparison that comes to mind is The Ascent.

That game has very different gameplay, but the character models, assets, textures, and so on are all much better than what we see in Bethesda’s latest offering. Although it is a separate issue than graphics per se, the art direction was also much better in The Ascent. A big problem with Starfield is just how bad all the designs are, which comes down to hiring bad artists for the concept art.

Of course, while you expect good graphics from $70 AAA games – and should be able to expect a graphical leap from a major release from a company as established and well-funded as Bethesda – graphics have never been particularly important to me. The garbage quality of the visuals is simply the first thing you notice about how poorly made this game actually is.

Again, there are ostensibly no changes since 2015. That is how the game is presented – “this is a 2015 game being released in 2023. We used the same engine, and basically did everything exactly the same.” But everything about the experience has been downgraded.

In terms of the mechanics, the “RPG style” leveling up system is worse than Fallout 4 (which was itself worse than Fallout 3). The dialogue trees have less varied options.

The quality of the dialogue and voice acting is also significantly worse than that of Fallout 4, with every interaction and every character being so utterly benign as to appear like a parody of “bad Bethesda writing.” Quickly, you realize that nothing any character says in the game is interesting, and that your responses do not matter as the outcomes are the same regardless, so you just start skipping all of the dialogue. It is also tiresome to sit and watch these horrible character models, which do not have any of the expressiveness we’ve gotten used to seeing on characters over the last ten years or so.

It would be impossible for anyone to care about the story. The attempts at world-building are… well, honestly, I don’t even know if you could say there is an attempt at world-building. It’s literally: “hello, you are the chosen one. Now, let me introduce you to MacGuffin. Become the savior by doing the MacGuffin. Experience more half-assed attempts at boring, dried-out tropes along the way in this tedious retro gaming experience.”

The drop in writing quality from Fallout 4 or Skyrim is astonishing. Both games were glitchy and problematic in a lot of different ways, with stale gameplay even when they were released, but there was a good bit of heart put into the storytelling and world-building. We all likely have good memories of those games, despite their problems. I cannot imagine remembering anything from Starfield.

The writing quality was the most insane part to me. People have been saying that the current version of Bethesda’s Creation Engine was out of date since even before Skyrim was released, so these people obviously knew that they were going to be releasing a game that would not feel new or interesting, especially after the release of games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring (or anything else from From), anything Sony has released in the last decade, or even Ubisoft’s very modest, repetitive offerings.  It seems that it would be very obvious to make up for graphics/gameplay failings in the writing department, and it is very clear that there was no attempt to do this. The dialogue is like it was written by Indians from Fiverr or pre-ChatGPT AI (ChatGPT could have written dialogue 1,000x better than this).

Starfield’s director, Todd Howard, is certainly aware that Fallout: New Vegas, a game that Bethesda contracted out to indie studio Obsidian, is widely considered to be much better than his own two Fallout games (3&4), primarily because of the superior writing. Josh Sawyer, who directed that game, is still around. Presumably, he could have been hired to write this game. Of course, there is an entire list of writers who would have done something that would have made an impression.

The quality of the art direction is also astonishing. This is another place where creativity could have overcome bad graphics, and it’s like they did not even try. The ships, aliens, buildings, and landscapes are all generic and totally uninspired, again as if they were designed by low quality AI.

I spent a little over two hours with the game, and I am struggling to think of a single positive thing to say about it.

The encumberment meme is real, by the way. I need to let anyone who hasn’t played it yet know that. You are immediately encumbered in this game, and instead of being slowed, like in every other game ever, you start to lose oxygen. I have no idea why they set the starting carry weight so low, but it actually seems as though they wanted to let everyone see this new cool idea they came up with, where when you’re encumbered, instead of slowing down, you lose your oxygen. Then, of course, leveling up your carry capacity gives you a reason to engage with the otherwise pointless leveling system.

Furthermore: this “upper whites of the eyes” thing is also real. These screenshots that are going around everywhere are not even super-selective. Throughout the game, these brown people are walking past you and showing you the upper whites of their eyes.

I don’t know why that is happening. I just can’t even understand how something like that would ever go to press. Needless to say, we didn’t have that in Skyrim or Fallout 4.

Trying to Think of Something Nice…

The mechanics of the spaceship flying are acceptable, I suppose, and wouldn’t necessarily be out of place in a much better game. The shooting also appears tighter than Fallout 4’s shooting, though it is still nowhere up to par with other games in the genre. The best thing I think anyone can say about it is that it was released without the standard level of bugs most Bethesda games are released with. They avoided a CyberPunk 2077 style debacle, which is apparently now a major achievement for any large non-Japanese studio.

For the record, I think the game is much worse than CyberPunk. CyberPunk had all of those tech problems on release, but I went back and tried it a few months ago, and that is all fixed now. It is still a shitty game that is not worth my time, but it looks clean and modern, the world itself is interesting, and the writing quality and voice acting is acceptable. I guess this proves that CD Project really did screw themselves by releasing the game before it was finished, rather than by releasing a bad game, because the shill industry press is celebrating Starfield and even the Steam/Metacritic user reviews are nowhere near as bad as they should be.

Starfield proves that a major studio can release a horrible game and as long as it works, people will tolerate it. I’m not really sure how to analyze this. The bought-and-paid-for professional reviewers couldn’t defend CyberPunk, and maybe it comes down to that – people actually believe this shill press, and it will let them imagine that a game is better than it actually is.

It’s truly incredible what these shills are allowed to get away with.

Honestly, those reviewers should be in prison for fraud.

In the Shadow of Baldur’s Gate 3

I never wrote a review of Baldur’s Gate 3, because I did not want to promote it due to political reasons. I did not agree with the hype surrounding the game, which had to do with the fact that you could make a tranny character. That said, if you do not choose to make a tranny character, there is very little that is objectionable in the game. Certainly, it is less politically charged than Starfield. (It appears as though Wizards of the Coast, who are the owners of the Dungeons & Dragons property whose license the game uses, came in after the game was finished and demanded that some tranny stuff be added, so they tacked it onto the character creation.)

It is also six million times better than Starfield. Despite the fact it was released by a relatively small studio, Larian, Baldur’s Gate has graphics that are so vastly superior to Starfield that you would assume that a lot more than a decade passed between the development of the two games. Larian motion-captured the characters, giving them all very lifelike movement and facial expressions which stand in such stark contrast to the uncanny valley people of Starfield as to be almost unbelievable.

BG3’s RPG mechanics are something no one has ever seen before, where there are seemingly millions of different paths you could take and wind up with totally different story outcomes. Everything about the world is interesting. The writing is on par with the best novels. And they took the time to hire a team of professional actors to voice the characters, which, combined with the motion capture and dynamic camera angles during conversations and cut scenes, makes the whole experience feel like a real movie.

The fact that Starfield still has that system of characters standing right in front of you, talking directly at you like a headshot – something that has existed at least since Fallout 1 in 1997 – is almost unbelievable.

Just go ahead and take a minute to compare this:

To this:

This is the only thing Starfield’s garbage 1990s dialogue system has going for it:

I was casually talking to an NPC when this happened, spent about 5 minutes in uncontrollable laughter
byu/welshscott5 inStarfield

It would be impossible to go through a full list of the places where Larian bodied Bethesda with a game in the RPG genre released within the same time window. I think the combat system in BG3 is much more fun and interesting, but that is really personal preference (some people like first person shooting). But the biggest differences all come down to the level of immersion you feel, which is certainly the goal of an RPG game.

We can consider the companions system. The companions system in Baldur’s Gate 3 is incredible, where you actually feel like you are traveling with a group of adventurers who have personalities and contribute to the story as well as being a crucial part of combat.

In Starfield, the situation is very different. The fact that they maintained the same companions system, without any changes, is also incredible. You talk to this character that is following you around, and they repeat the same dialogue over and over, and then when you end the conversation, they say “goodbye,” before following along behind you. They are just as useless as they always were in combat, and serve as nothing but an annoyance. They do not contribute anything. I don’t know if they’re going to show back up, but within my first 3 hours with the game, I’ve left both the main female character (English accent, I don’t know her name) and the robot character on planets to die without even realizing that it had happened.

All of the missions in BG3 are interesting, and even throw-away side quests serve some purpose in the larger whole of the story, connecting to other parts of the adventure. In Starfield, every quest is “hi, I’m so and so generic NPC, and I have such and such a generic problem. Can you kill someone for me? Oh, good, you killed them. Now you can join my group, and I will tell you to kill others. There’s some kind of ranking system or something. I hope you like going to locations and then returning to other locations afterward, because you’ll be doing a lot of that, random stranger I just met.”

You Only Have So Many Hours in Your Life

With anything you spend time doing, you always have to remember that there are only so many hours in your life. Boomers would say – while literally watching TV commercials in between their sports game ball-chucking scenes on TV – that all video games are a waste of time. I disagree. We need relaxation and entertainment, and video games are fine for that. Some people get addicted and play too much, but that happens with anything. As a basic matter, there’s nothing wrong with having video games as a hobby.

However, the time you spend gaming should also enrich you in some way, whether it’s by challenging your reflexes or strategic thinking abilities, or by telling you an interesting and thought-provoking story. Starfield doesn’t do any of that. It feels purposefully and maliciously mind-numbing, as if it exists only to waste time. I can’t imagine anything with something else to do playing this game, so it therefore must be designed for people with nothing else to do.

I might spend another couple of hours on it, just for the sake of better understanding what exactly is going on here, and because the “holy shit, I just can’t even believe it” factor is worth something to me. However, this is a game that is asking for dozens or hundreds of hours of your life, and if that is something you’re willing to give to this game, you really need to reflect on why it is that you don’t have something better to do with that time.

If Disney Calls Copyright on This Fallout: New Vegas Star Wars Mod, I’m Gonna Lose It https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/07/12/if-disney-calls-copyright-on-this-fallout-new-vegas-star-wars-mod-im-gonna-lose-it/ Mon, 12 Jul 2021 00:00:00 +0000

I give you…

Star Wars Open Worlds.

A plan already well underway to create an entire Star Wars RPG inside of Obsidian’s Fallout: New Vegas.

LOOK AT IT!

JUST LOOK AT IT!

DID YOU SEE THOSE AT-ATS??

This could finally bring back the dignity of Star Wars.

What kind of features can you put in a fan-made mod, you ask?

Oh, I don’t know, maybe just a little bit of:

  • Fully voice-acted characters
  • Character customization
  • Full skill system
  • An all new Star Wars weapons and items based crafting system
  • Multiple factions
  • Companions
  • Bounty hunting
  • Extensive side quests

Then you can just go ahead and plot that all down inside of an NV-style choices matter main story and 12 planets.

People keep saying “oh no, it’s too ambitious” – but look at the trailer!

Passionate people working together to do something wonderful still can deliver the goods, even in this broken world.

If Disney calls copyright on this, I will probably have the kind of breakdown of the sort where the policy catch me buck naked masturbating in my neighbor’s front yard at 7 AM and accosting people out walking their dogs.

Anyone here OG enough to remember “Kony 2012”?

Some guy made a fake documentary about a guy named Kony in the jungles of DRC who was allegedly kidnapping children and forcing them to join his army. He claimed that the only solution was to send in the US military to occupy Africa and free the children.

It became the most popular viral video of all time (at the time).

As it turned out, Kony was actually a pretty cool guy, and couldn’t be killed anyway because he was protected by spirits.

The whole atrocity thing from the documentary was totally made up. The filmmaker had never even met Kony, and had only been to Uganda once for like a week. When the film was released, Kony was probably already dead, and when he was alive there was no evidence he kidnapped any kids. Some poor young men joined his struggle because of his righteousness and his plan to restore order based on the 10 Commandments.

Then it turned out that the guy who made the film, Jason Russell, made the whole thing up. He was under intense internet pressure.

So what does he do?

The same thing I would do if Disney cancels the New Vegas Star Wars mod: he kicked it into overdrive.

Honestly, getting completely naked and masturbating in your neighbor’s front yard is a chad move. What’s more: it’s high-concept.

Even though his documentary was fake, he must have sapped off a little bit of that Kony Energy.

US government shill or not, you gotta respect the game.

Meanwhile, instead of a hardcore alpha masturbation rampage, fed shills on the right just have sex with their fat mother-in-laws.

Pretty low concept shit, man.

Wasteland 3 is 50% Off on Steam (Buy This Game) https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/04/14/wasteland-3-is-50-off-on-steam/ Wed, 14 Apr 2021 00:00:00 +0000

I just wanted to let everyone know that Wasteland 3, which is my pick for Game of the Year 2020, is currently 50% off on Steam.

Everything about this game was perfect. It was almost finished before the studio, inXile, was bought by Microsoft, so there is no woke stuff in it. I will say, at the very beginning of the game, it lets you choose “premade” characters, and one is a gay couple and another is a BMWF couple. But this was clearly tacked on after the game was finished by Microsoft. It does sort of taint it, but that is literally the only woke thing in the game.

If you’re not familiar with the CRPG genre, no one uses premade characters anyway, as the player characters don’t typically have any character beside you, the player character (there are notable exceptions, such as the Divinity series, but in general in a CRPG, you make your own character, just like in old tabletops).

Wasteland 1 was the precursor to the Fallout games. The same team that made Wasteland 1 made Fallout 1 and 2. Then, while they were making Fallout 3, the company went bankrupt, and the property was acquired by (Jew-run) Bethesda, who made their own Fallout 3, which was an okay FPS action game, but was not really an RPG.

Then, some of the original team were hired by Bethesda to make Fallout: New Vegas, which is one of the rare instances where an FPS game was actually a legitimate RPG.

After that, Bryan Fargo, who was the main producer on Fallout 1 and 2, crowdfunded Wasteland 2, which was intended to be a spiritual successor to Fallout 2. It definitely lived up to that.

He then made Wasteland 3 last year, and it is even better than Wasteland 2. Not only does it have a glorious post-apocalyptic story, filled with memorable characters and themes, but it also has a tactical turn-based combat system that is really on the level of the newer XCOM games – at least. Combining such a great story with great combat, top-tier voice acting, and the best music of any American game ever, easily made it my GotY for 2020.

Here’s a clip that displays all the strengths of the game (including a great cover of Woody Guthrie’s “Washed in the Blood of the Lamb” – yes, it is so politically incorrect that it was gospel songs).

If you’re really searching hard, you can impose leftist themes on it, but you’ll actually find that these are things that have always been around in games – strong women, etc. The basic story is legitimately far-right – if you choose to play that path. This isn’t really a spoiler, but you also have the option of siding with a woman to bring down the patriarchy (because it is a real RPG, and not political propaganda).

I can see how some people thought $60 was a lot for an indie game, but there is zero reason not to buy this at $30.

I will also say, although it was a nostalgic experience for me, this game is in no way “pure nostalgia” like a lot of games that have been released in the last years. It totally stands on its own as an amazing game, and I think the various modern UI improvements (if not really the graphics) mean that zoomers and teenagers will have as much fun as millennials, even though they’re not reliving their childhood.

By the way, I should note: there are elements from Wasteland 2 in 3, but they’re minor. It’s not a situation where you won’t understand the story if you haven’t played the last one. I recommend anyone who is new to this kind of old school CRPG to play 3 first, and then if they like it, they can go back and play 2. But when M$ bought inXile, they did give them some extra money to make improvements that make it more accessible to younger people.

This game has my total stamp of approval, and the saddest thing about it is that Microsoft now owns the company, which means we won’t be getting a Wasteland 4 (and if we do it will be some garbage with trannies).

Some Other Vidya Notes

Speaking of garbage with trannies, the new Diablo 2 remake has covered up the ass of the Amazon character, and made her face ultra-mannish.

BASED Takanashi Kiara was totally outraged (timestamp).

That said, the alpha does look okay. I guess. It doesn’t look nearly as bad as I’d expected, after the Warcraft 3 remake debacle.

In other gaming news, Disco Elysium has been completely remade with full voice acting. I haven’t played the new one yet. I don’t generally like voice acting in my CRPGs, as it’s the same issue I have with novels on tape: you don’t get to do your own impressions of the characters in your head; instead, someone else is doing it.

But I guess a lot of people don’t like reading. The other thing is, having the voice acting means that I could play it and record it without having to read hundreds of thousands of words of text aloud (reading aloud is something I’m infamously bad at, due to slight dyslexia).

I’m considering doing a series of let’s plays for Disco Elysium, uploading them to BitChute and then reposting them here. I’m not sure how many people would be interested in that, but I was thinking: I’m going to replay Disco anyway, maybe I should record it.

I wouldn’t hesitate if I was allowed to put it on YouTube, as I could use that to expand the readership, but I’m not banned from saying racist or denialist things on YouTube, I’m banned as a person, so I would have to use BitChute, and the only people who would watch it would be people from this site.

I actually had some recordings of me playing Wasteland 3, where I did the audio for my characters (Alex Jones, Sargon of Akkad, Ben Shapiro and Kathy Zhu), but I never edited/uploaded it. I might do an hour of Disco, and see what the feedback is.

Due to the nature of our current situation, much of my “personal time” is spent playing video games, so there is no reason not to share that, really.

In general, I must say: I think the video games situation is not bad at all.

Granted, I don’t ever play FPS, save for rare occasions (like the new Fallout series, and when I tried to play Cyberpunk 2077), and I know that is the most popular genre. I got headaches playing Goldeneye back in the day, and even though newer FPS games don’t give me headaches, I just haven’t ever gotten into them. So I guess for someone who is mainly an FPS person, I could see how it seems all games have gone to shit.

But one thing that I enjoy even more than playing games is flipping through Steam, and I see huge numbers of games that I would play coming out every week. The thing is, as I always say, you just have to get away from these big studios.

As regards Diablo 2: as soon as I heard about this, I said it must be impossible for them to make a better game than Grim Dawn, which is an indie Diablo 2 homage.

So, keep that in mind. Basically, Gamergate did win a quiet victory.

I’ve heard that in concert with World War III, Sargon of Akkad is thinking of launching a Gamergate II. I would support that. But when I flip through Steam, I do feel like we’ve already won.

The Jews Did Fallout 76 https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/12/28/the-jews-did-fallout-76/ Fri, 28 Dec 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin
Daily Stormer
December 28, 2018

I wrote up a long thing about the drama surrounding the release of Bethesda Game Studio’s Fallout 76 the other day, and did not blame the Jews for it.

I typically do blame the Jews for things, because they typically tend to be responsible for everything that goes wrong on earth.

Most people are blaming game director Todd Howard for the game. It is a confirmed fact that Howard is a deviant individual, without any scruples, and who will lie constantly – pathologically, really – to his own userbase, often when it is completely unnecessary to do so.

However, despite Howard’s deviant and deranged personal nature and lack of anything resembling what we consider to be standard human morality, the fact remains that he produced many games that people actually liked. He did Elder Scrolls 3-5, as well as Fallout 3 and 4. Particularly with the Fallout games, people take issue with the fact that the franchise was destroyed, becoming no longer an RPG but a long shooter game with “RPG elements.” However, these remain enjoyable shooter games (despite the fact that the shooting itself is horrible).

So then, I found myself asking : where is the Jew who is pushing this amoral but nonetheless demonstratively talented goy Howard to destroy his own reputation in the bizarre and vicious cash-grab that is Fallout 76?

Because I know there is one somewhere.

Then I watched this shockingly optimistic review of Fallout 76 by Camelworks.

I said in my last piece that I’ve become fixated with watching these reviews, and Camelworks’ thing is much more sympathetic than most. He goes through and says that the world itself is one of the best he’s seen in a game ever, and also says that he was able to run it on high-res, something that most are saying they can’t do even with $3,000 machines.

He of course condemns it as a completely unplayable game, but everyone is saying that, save a few randos who appear to be trolling. He says the fault of the game is mainly in the fact that it is unfinished, and is so filled with bugs that it is unplayable. Like everyone else, he takes issue with the storyline (which he uniquely claims actually exists) as well as the lack of NPCs and the basic mechanics of the online integration, which involve random servers and your base disappearing every time you start. However, even all of these issues he indicates he believes are a result of releasing an unfinished game – that is to say, they built the world and then were getting ready to figure out the NPCs and storyline, figure out a way to make online play make sense and fix the bugs – but (((someone))) who knows nothing about games but makes these kinds of decisions was like “nah, just release it now – no need for a storyline or a working game, the goyim will pay $60 for anything with our logos on it.”

I had not heard this take, but it actually makes the most sense. Much more sense than the idea that the entire team sat around plotting to ripoff their own users.

Though I certainly have not played it, I have watched many hours of gameplay and many reviews and it makes perfect sense that this was a half-finished game, intended to include many other elements, which was rushed to release by someone other than the game designers and developers.

Again, though not without talent, Todd Howard is a deviant trickster and a beta male who could easily be bullied by a Jew into taking this bizarre action.

So where is the Jew? There isn’t one at Bethesda.

Well, Camelworks happened to mention that he thinks the game was probably rushed by executives at their parent company Zenimax Media.

Let’s see here.

Zenimax Media…

Okay, so let’s check the CEO…

Yeah…

Found him.

Robert Altman is the Jew responsible for Fallout 76.

He is a Jew lawyer who is married to Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter for some reason. That Wonder Woman was not Jewish.

And if you’re wondering why this Jew isn’t working in finance – it’s because he’s banned from working in finance by the government after being called to testify before Congress with regards to an off-shore lending scam he engaged in with wealthy Arab investors.

He founded Zenimax in 1999 with the goyish founder of Bethesda, Christopher Weaver, who he then quickly pushed out of the company. Weaver sued Altman over this move, but ended up settling out of court when it became clear that no goy on earth can defeat an organized army of Jew lawyers.

The Jew Altman is now the supreme leader of Zenimax and thus Bethesda, and I have zero doubt that this is exactly what happened:

  • An online Fallout game was pitched and planned.
  • Bethesda went to work on developing an online Fallout game.
  • A little less than halfway through the development process, before the textures were added, before the story was fleshed out, before the NPCs had been added and long before the bug fixing had even began, Altman said “I want this game out for Xmas.”
  • Todd Howard said, “you don’t mean this Christ… uh, Xmas, do you master?” and Altman replied, “indeed I do, my loyal goy servant.”
  • Howard, serving his Jew master like Darth Vader serves the Emperor, went ahead and forced his team to create some kind of possibly releasable version of the game on a vastly shortened timeline, instructing them to cut NPCs and just use a bunch of notes and a few Holotapes to tell the story. I also imagine that they had originally intended to include factions (Brotherhood, Enclave, Supermutants, etc.), and have PvP work in the same way that it works in World of Warcraft or any other MMORPG, but didn’t have time to figure that out either, hence the nonsensical PvP system the game was shipped with.
  • Howard presented the game at E3 in June.
  • The team told Altman that no one would buy the game, and so he instructed them to do the pre-order scam.
  • The game was released in time for Christmas, with the preorder oversold as including a “beta,” and the rest is history.

This narrative makes vastly more sense than the idea that the game was initially designed to simply scam the fanbase.

There is a possibility that it wouldn’t have been very good, and I imagine that it would have included microtransactions, including Lootboxes and all the other typical scams (or maybe a monthly subscription model), but it was surely intended to be a game with a story – including NPCs – and functional mechanics, a functional PvP system, graphical improvements and fewer bugs.

This is really no different than the Jews progressively turning Star Wars into a cash-grab – because Fallout 4 was a cash-grab too, arguably – and like with the Star Wars films, the games have progressively degraded, to the point where they are losing money.

The Jews just cannot help themselves.

So to those confused about the situation with this horrible fake game, I will remind you all of the Daily Stormer official slogan: “Every. Single. Time.”

Bethesda Rats Attempt Apology for Refusing Fallout 76 Refund, Giving Free Old Games https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/12/24/bethesda-rats-attempt-apology-for-refusing-fallout-76-refund-giving-free-old-games/ Mon, 24 Dec 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

The disgusting rats of Bethesda have stuck to their guns on their “no refunds” policy on Fallout 76, but have decided to make the miniscule Christmas gesture of giving the game’s victims three free old games.

When I saw the headline, I figured they were giving them all of the games – including 3, New Vegas and 4, and were just doing it to get around the PR debacle of refusing refunds.

But no. They are giving people games that were released when I was a kid, which the people who bought 76 have either already played or wouldn’t be interested in – and which cost $5.99 bundled on Steam.

76 was $60, and has been almost universally described as unplayable.

Bethesda is currently being investigated by lawyers who are wanting to do a class action suit against them for selling them this broken, horrible game and then refusing a refund, which has been labeled “deceptive trade practices.”

They apparently did give some people refunds, presumably those who said they were “unable to load the game.” But then they denied most all other refunds when people filed complaints. They definitely potentially have a difficult legal situation.

So I can understand that they can’t just all of the sudden start giving out refunds, due to whatever legal advice they may have been given. Plus, they certainly want to keep all that money people spent on this game – which actually amounted to a type of hoax.

But why not just give the rest of the games too, so fewer people are angry?

Giving these old games I would argue actually makes the situation worse, as it is an insult to the people denied refunds. It’s like raping a $60 hooker and then throwing $6 in her bloodied face as you trot off.

Who is running this company?

Yes.

Correct.

The ginger menace.

Todd Howard.

I’ve Really Enjoyed Watching This Shitshow

This has been probably the most enjoyable video game related drama I’ve ever witnessed.

On every single level, these people have screwed up so, so badly. The fact that they even released the game at all is just completely incredible to me, as it seems to be clear that it was literally planned to just be a massive cash-grab and damn the backlash. They couldn’t possibly have believed that people would enjoy the game, and they couldn’t possibly have believed that after it came out more people would be buying it. So it was just a way to rip-off people who pre-ordered it by selling them what really amounts to a fake game and then refusing them a refund.

But why would they be willing to create this kind of backlash against what was still an at least partially respected company in order to make a few million on pre-orders?

And didn’t they realize there would be potential legal problems with such an obvious scam?

It just doesn’t make any sense.

The first time I saw Todd Howard talking about the game, at the announcement, it was obvious he was being purposefully obtuse. I talked to several people who are video game fans, and everyone said the same thing: “I don’t understand what this game is even supposed to be…”

People are currently still attempting to figure that out.

It was almost so shocking, that people are in shock. They don’t even know how to respond to it.

I’ve watched a lot of reviews on YouTube and people are talking about how they played it for dozens of hours, just trying to figure out if they were somehow missing the point, because they just didn’t believe that someone would sell them a fake game for $60.

This is the best of the reviews, in my opinion. It’s long, but it is so much fun to watch this guy go through the whole thing, and realize the scope of what Bethesda – one of the biggest video game companies ever – has done to their own fans.

The reviewer, Skill Up, refers to the game as “immoral,” and says he can’t imagine ever calling any other game that. And it is the exactly correct word that everyone is looking for in trying to describe what Fallout 76 is. It is a scam, and a fake game.

I think that Todd Howard is going to have to resign from the company, honestly. Or at least resign from his position as director and recede to some purely development role.

People are very worried about future games. Elder Scrolls VI is in development (that’s the sequel to Skyrim), and Todd Howard is saying they’re going to build it like they did Fallout 76. If it’s a good game, word will get around, and even most of the people who Howard 76ed with 76 will buy it, but no one is going to preorder any of their games ever again.

The whole thing is just so “lol wtf???”

Fallout was Kinda Destroyed Anyway

I played the original two games when I was a kid, and though I don’t hate the new games, it is clear that they are not the same thing.

YouTuber Indigo Gaming made a great video a while back summarizing the transformation of the IP, and I agree with everything he says.

So it’s hard to say that 76 “destroyed fallout.”

Although I probably wouldn’t call it my single favorite series, I really like the lore, aesthetic and dark humor of the original (only a little bit of which was carried over to the newer games), so it’s sad that this is what the series has become.

However, as is noted by Indigo Gaming, several other games inspired by the original Fallout have been released.

He gives these recommendations:

I haven’t played any of those other than a little bit of Wasteland 2 (I got distracted by other stuff and never got into it).

But I always tell people this: if you’re angry that games you like as a kid aren’t being made anymore, you’re just paying too much attention to big AAA releases.

Yes, the gaming industry is going straight to hell, basically every company other than Rockstar has collapsed into a series of microtransactional scams. Or free-to-play battle royale – if you’re into that scene, I understand they’re very good (a lot of readers probably aren’t into them, however).

But the fact is that games that we millennials played as kids could be made very cheaply now, and they’re just as good.

Though I can’t recommend any of the Fallout-similar games I listed above, if you liked Dungeons and Dragons isometric RPGs, I can absolutely recommend Pillars of Eternity. No Baldur’s Gate fan could possibly be disappointed by that.

As far as new-style first-person stuff, we’ve got The Outer Lands coming out from Obsidian, which was contracted before M$ bought them. Although that might not actually end up being the New Vegas sequel everyone was hoping it was going to be.

The maker of this video, JuiceHead, has been giving mad coverage of 76, with all of the latest scandal news – I trust his analysis of the information released so far on Outer Lands indicating it is going to be a much smaller game which doesn’t give the same type of experience as New Vegas, despite the fact that the same team is making it.

A further option in all of this is to simply not play video games at all.

I personally read about and watch YouTube videos about games a lot more than I personally play them. But I think in moderation, playing games is fine. I don’t have the negative opinion that some people on the far-right have of them, and honestly, I think portraying any kind of video game play as negative is a bit ridiculous.

Around the holidays, I’m always thinking about games, probably because it was something that was always a holiday event during my childhood, from the time I got a NES when I was 5. Last year during the winter months, I played through Pillars of Eternity. I haven’t played anything this year. I have been wanting to, but have not made a pick.

With all this drama around Fallout, I’ve been wanting to play through the original two (with time extension mods), as I haven’t done that in several years. But I think I’m going to save that for when I become a professional non-racist Twitch streamer as a second job.

Let me know in the comments if you have any recommendations.

Merry Christmas!

Bethesda Bans Christians from Terrible Fallout 76 Game https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/12/04/bethesda-bans-christians-from-terrible-fallout-76-game/ Tue, 04 Dec 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin
Daily Stormer
December 4, 2018

The game turned out to be so universally panned – as I predicted it would be – that very few people who did not purchase it pre-release are buying Fallout 76.

However, one of the things that the Daily Stormer told you about this game was that their attempt to launch an alternative to Steam was treacherous. And just as one would expect, they are using this new platform to promote homosexualism and ban Christians.

As the homosexuality-oriented gaming blog Kotaku writes:

Bethesda has banned a group of Fallout 76 players for life after they launched a homophobic attack on others in the game. “We have come to eliminate all gays,” players can be heard saying in a video of the incident.

As reported by Eurogamer, the incident, which originally took place a couple weeks ago, lasted about 10 minutes and consisted of one group of Fallout 76players taunting and harassing another group using homophobic slurs over proximity chat while trying to hunt them down. Fallout 76 is an online game where players coexist on a single map and are able to team-up, trade, or in this case virtually recreate hate crimes.

One of the victims, AJ, recorded video of the encounter and shared it on Twitter in an attempt to get the maker of the game, Bethesda, to take note of the incident and punish the players involved. “I’m calling bully hunters,” someone can be heard saying in the video, to which one of the attackers responds, “Bully hunters? You’re gonna have to call better than that, we’re the gay eliminators.” The same person can later be heard saying, “We’re cleansing the wasteland,” while another repeatedly refers to AJ’s group as “faggots,” while laughing throughout the entire thing. Eventually they managed to kill AJ’s character. NathanTheHicc, one of the attackers, later uploaded his own footage of the incident to YouTube under the title “Cleansing the Queers.”

Bethesda, who did not return a request for comment by Kotaku, told Eurogamer that it had initially instituted a three-day ban against the offending players after AJ shared the footage with them. However, after reviewing the incident further, the publisher decided to ban the players for life instead.

There is no religious freedom in Fallout 76.

If you believe it was Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve, you might as well just go play a better game on Steam, because Fallout 76 is what people in the gaming business call “anal only.”

It’s a shame that this horrible botched rollout of the latest game in the Fallout series isn’t enough to sink Bethesda forever, and result in the rights to Fallout being purchased by the franchise’s original creators (who now work at Black Isle and produced the fantastic New Vegas on contract with Bethesda).

Video game companies – even AAA companies – go under regularly.

Todd Howard, the developer of this terrible game, is a fag and probably a homosexual. Maybe a tranny.

Bethesda’s parent company has already crashed the Wolfenstein franchise with no survivors by turning it into an antifa “punch Richard Spencer” type of “anal only” affair. However, they still own the profitable Elder Scrolls and Doom IPs, and they’re presently working on a new Elder Scrolls single player RPG game, which should safely make a lot of money.

Fallout is my personal favorite video game series other than Baldur’s Gate. So it is sad to me that Bethesda is being allowed to run it into the ground. I hope that the next installment of Elder Scrolls is as poorly received as Fallout 76, and the company collapses.

Massive Fallout: New Vegas Mod Finally Released https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/10/24/massive-fallout-new-vegas-mod-finally-released/ Wed, 24 Oct 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

I’m a big Fallout guy. I’ve played these games since I was 13.

Fallout 4 was very disappointing, what with this sims nonsense of building these bases and then all these people whining to come defend them. What’s worse is they replaced all of the core RPG elements of the game with that crap, making it basically just an open-world shooter.

And it looks like Fallout 76 is going to be even worse. I’m not even going to mess with it, because it looks like it sucks. And plus I don’t have the internet connection here in Nigeria to play an online game that heavy. It is removing any pretext of being an RPG and it is just a… multiplayer basebuilding shooter game. Of some kind.

They are also ditching Steam for some sick reason.

Whatever.

New Vegas was objectively the best of the entire series. And a new fan made mod, New California, with a completely new map and full voice acting has been released, after six years of development.

I haven’t played it. It was just released on Tuesday. But I thought people would like to know about it.

Here’s the download link.

Chuck Schumer has stated that the government shutdown is ending, but can we really go back to normal?

This is America now.

Boston.

Washington.

Detroit appears mostly intact and unaffected by the Government shutdown apocalypse.

Now is the time for rebuilding, friends. Let’s always give the left everything they want forever to stop such a terrible scenario from happening ever again.
