In an explosive interview, former Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert claimed that he was investigated and imprisoned for corruption after being targeted by a cabal largely financed by wealthy American Jews.

Olmert told TV channel i24NEWS that his six-year prison sentence for graft and bribery – he was released on parole last year, after serving just 16 months – was the result of trumped up charges.

“The nature of the allegations against me…were really at the end of the day very ridiculous, very insignificant…it was clear to me that those who were after me were ready to do everything, everything in order to get rid of me…,” he said.

“It was big operation, largely financed by rich Jews from America.”

Even before he was convicted on corruption charges, Olmert and his allies had accused wealthy, right-wing American Jews of trying to sabotage his peace plan with the Palestinians and push him out of office.

A source close to Olmert told the Jerusalem Post in 2012 that right-wing American casino magnate Sheldon Adelson played a major role in privately financing an investigation into Olmert’s alleged shady dealings.

Speaking with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in May 2012, Olmert insisted that he had been the victim of a right-wing conspiracy involving powerful American businessmen. However, he declined to name names.

“[Trying to make peace] was a killer for me,” he told Amanpour, adding that “millions and millions of dollars” had been provided by American right-wingers in hopes of toppling him.

Seriously though.

There’s a legit split between the Jews – and it is widening.

This isn’t necessarily an American-Israeli split. It is mostly that. But Olmert was more on the liberal American side, and Sheldon Adelson is more on the far-right Israeli side. And the Israelis themselves are split – at least the Ashkenazim. The brown ones all support a right-wing Israeli expansionist/revenge agenda.

This gets confusing for anti-Semites who tend to think of them all as being part of the same agenda. And they are all part of the same agenda when it comes to Jewing the goyim. But in reality, they are deeply divided on the direction Israel should go in.

Ultimately, the more powerful ones seem to support the Netanyahu right-wing agenda.

But just look at this Saudi situation – it was right-wing Netanyahu-tier Jews that setup the Trump weapons deal. It was setup by Jared Kushner, at whose house Netanyahu sleeps when he goes to New York. Saudi is the greatest ally of Israel. But all of these American Jews are now trying to sideline and isolate Saudi.

That has a lot to do with “get Drumpf.” But it also highlights the fact that American shitlib Jews are increasingly uncomfortable with the behavior fo the Netanyahu regime, and want that shit to cool down. This is probably because on the ground, they sense that this Israel agenda of slaughter is becoming a liability for Jews globally. Or maybe they are just genuinely high on their own supply, believing that Arab lives matter. It is probably a bit of both. From where I’m sitting, that’s what it looks like.

Whatever – it doesn’t matter why Jews do what they do. It’s just important to be aware.

Benjamin Netanyahu is suspected of having committed bribery, fraud and breach of trust, Israeli police have confirmed.

The Israeli Prime Minister is accused of offering commercial favours to a newspaper owner in return for positive coverage and of accepting bribes from a Hollywood billionaire.

Investigators have secured a gagging order as they try to persuade the politician’s former chief of staff to testify in the cases. The order was granted and will remain in force until 17 September.

A spokesperson for Mr Netanyahu said the claims were untrue and politically-motivated, according to Haaretz.

“We completely reject the unfounded claims made against the prime minister,” they said. “The campaign to change the government is underway, but it is destined to fail, for a simple reason: there won’t be anything because there was nothing.”

Israel’s Attorney General, Avichai Mendelblit, said talks with Mr Netanyahu’s former chief of staff, Ari Harow, about acting as a witness for the state were “making progress”.

Seems as if the key to this will be if Netanyahu’s former chief of staff turns against his former boss.

It is not unprecedented for an Israeli Prime Minister to be jailed for crimes. Ehud Olmert was previously sentenced to prison for 16 months on corruption charges.

Truthfully though, these allegations are minor compared to the real crimes Bibi is guilty of. He is a real life war criminal, having ordered endless military strikes against the Palestinians during the 2014 war in Gaza. Many women and children died as a result of this.

Netanyahu tried to turn the Gaza Strip into a parking lot in 2014.

And these events only took place three years ago. The mass bombings in Gaza were in retaliation over a matter involving three Israeli soldiers who were allegedly kidnapped by Hamas. The justification for the strikes was based on highly dubious allegations (it was suspected that the kidnappings were either a hoax staged by Israel itself, or done by a completely separate Arab group). To say that the response was disproportionate would be an understatement.

Funny how none of the usual suspects made a big deal out of human rights when Netanyahu was engaged in this bloody campaign. Apparently Jews don’t violate human rights even when it involves dropping bombs on civilian populations. Must be Jewish privilege I guess.

It was foreseen by anti-Semites that if the Jews ever got their state, they would soon proceed to eat one another alive.

Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who claimed to be on the cusp of a historic peace deal with the Palestinians just a few years ago, now is set to become the first Israeli leader to go to prison after the Supreme Court upheld a bribery conviction against him Tuesday.

The decision capped a seven-year legal saga that severely undermined the last serious round of peace talks and propelled hard-line Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to power.

In some ways, Tuesday’s decision was a success for Olmert. The five-judge panel dismissed the most serious bribery charge against him and reduced his original prison sentence from six years down to 18 months. He is set to report to prison on Feb. 15.

“A stone has been lifted from my heart,” a visibly relieved Olmert told reporters. “I said in the past, I was never offered and I never took a bribe. And I say that again today.”

But it nonetheless served as a reminder of what might have been had he managed to complete his term before the scandal forced him to step down in early 2009.

Olmert was a longtime fixture in Israel’s hawkish right wing when he began taking a dramatically more conciliatory line toward the Palestinians as deputy prime minister a decade ago. He played a leading role in Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in 2005.

He became prime minister in January 2006 after then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a debilitating stroke — and subsequently led their newly formed Kadima Party to victory in parliamentary elections on a platform of pushing further peace moves with the Palestinians.

In a recent interview broadcast on Channel 10 TV, Olmert said his political transformation began while he was mayor of Jerusalem during the 1990s and early 2000s. He said the wide gaps between the city’s Jewish and Arab neighborhoods led him to conclude that the continued occupation of millions of Palestinians was unsustainable.

A gifted orator, Olmert broke a series of taboos while in office — warning that Israel could become like apartheid South Africa if it continued its occupation of the Palestinians and expressing readiness to relinquish control of parts of the holy city of Jerusalem under a peace deal.

Israel’s former prime minister Ehud Olmert has been jailed for six years on charges of bribery by a court in Tel Aviv, becoming the most senior Israeli politician to receive a criminal conviction.

Olmert, 68, and a number of codefendants were jailed after being found guilty of receiving millions of dollars from the Holyland Development Company – the developers behind the Holyland luxury real estate project in Jerusalem.

The charges – which Olmert has always denied – relate to 2006, when he was mayor of Jerusalem.

Olmert’s lawyers are likely to appeal against Tuesday’s sentence and are expected to ask the Tel Aviv court that he remain on bail until then.

In a statement issued before the sentencing, the former prime minister appeared to anticipate a bad result. “This is a sad day, on which a severe and unjust verdict is to be handed down to an innocent man,” he said.

Two years ago, Olmert was acquitted of separate corruption charges relating to his dealings with a US businessman, which had forced his resignation as prime minister in 2008.
