People will make a big deal about how microphones on phones and laptops can be turned on to record them. Technically this is true, but if you’re using an iPhone, someone has to pay over a million dollars to the Israelis to get it turned on.

More importantly, those recordings are illegal, so while they could be used to spy on you in some kind of high-level espionage operation, they aren’t ever going to appear in court. You can’t present illegal recordings in a criminal court (theoretically they could be leaked and used in a civil court, but probably not).

So the whole “gahhhhh phone is recording you” thing is not something I advise people to really worry too much about. Although if you are a dissident, I advise you to use iPhone rather than Android because it is possible an Antifa could put up the cash to spy on your Android. They’re not going to pay over a million dollars to open up your iPhone.

Anyway, the much more serious business is when you LEGALLY give your information over to companies which can store and sell this information, or use it in criminal court. This is the whole thing with the Discord chat app – they are literally selling these chat logs to Antifa groups, legally, because when you sign up for their services you are agreeing that anything you enter into that program belongs to them.

This is much different than even Skype – we know that the CIA records every single Skype conversation and converts it into a searchable text database (that was released in Wikileaks’ Vault 7 drop), but unless you are being charged as a terrorist and thus declared an enemy combatant without Constitutional rights, that information is never going to be used against you. Unless it is subpoenaed, but it would be subpoenaed through Skype, not the CIA, obviously, and I’m not sure they keep the data in the same way that the CIA does. Anyway, I don’t recommend using Skype either, I’m just saying.

The bigger deal than some secret spying program is when you actually agree to give your data over to a company.

Now enter the Amazon Alexa/Echo. This is a device that you put in your home that you enter into a contract allowing it to record EVERYTHING IT HEARS, which is everything that anyone says in your home. They then store all of this information on their servers, and that can all be brought into a criminal court.

I assume it can also be subpoenaed, even in a civil case.

WMUR:

A judge has ordered Amazon to turn over recordings that might have been captured by an Echo smart speaker in the Farmington house where two women were stabbed to death in January 2017.

Timothy Verrill of Dover is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing deaths of Jenna Pellegrini, 32, and Christine Sullivan, 48. He has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors said they believe the Echo device, which listens for Alexa voice commands, might have recorded audio of Sullivan’s death, as well as anything that happened before or after it.

State police have the speaker, and the judge agreed to let them access the recordings and ordered Amazon to turn over any recordings on its servers.

Experts said the case reveals some of the implications of having such devices in people’s homes.

“I think most people probably don’t even realize that Alexa is taking account of what’s going on in your house, in addition to responding to your demands and commands,” said Albert Scherr, a professor at the University of New Hampshire School of Law.

People putting these things inside of their homes is absolute lunacy.

It just goes to show that if something is shown to be socially acceptable, people will go along with it, and mega corporations have the ability to ensure that whatever they want to be socially acceptable is made socially acceptable.

Jeff Bezos doesn’t own the second most powerful newspaper in America as a hobby.

The privacy issue is yet another reason we need the tech industry regulated. This has all gotten completely insane. There are virtually no regulations on any of it – if you click a EULA, you have signed a contract. And even if you are one of the .0000000001% of people who reads a EULA, you still have no idea what it says, because they are worded in such a way as to make them impossible to understand.

It is time for the government to fully and completely regulate all of these companies. I want to see tanks driven into Silicon Valley and all of these assholes pulled out of their offices in handcuffs and forced in front of a tribunal.

Whoah: Amazon Alexa Now Delivering Dark Prophecies https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/06/26/whoah-amazon-alexa-now-delivering-dark-prophecies/ Tue, 26 Jun 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

When the Oracle speaks, the wise listen.

Back in the days of ancient Greece, statesmen and other important figures would consult oracles before making important decisions. These oracles would enter a trance, and enter contact with the Gods, the collective unconscious or whatever else and give cryptic messages as omens.

This worked out pretty well for them.

But, as it turns out, in modern times, we have a shortage of virgin women who can enter into a trance and be possessed by the spirit of Hermes or Hera or whoever. The Gods don’t possess sluts.

So we’ve been woefully short on oracular services.

Well, technology may be solving that little problem for us.

Tom’s Guide:

A San Francisco man says Amazon’s Alexa gave him a very creepy experience last week.

Shawn Kinnear. 30, told the free subway newspaper Metro that out of the blue, his Amazon Echo told him that “Every time I close my eyes, all I see is people dying.”

Oh shit oh shit. This is deep.

What is this, if not an omen?

Remember, Alexa is a virgin – you can’t have sex with a computer program, thank God – and so is a pure receptacle for the mysterious divine forces that rule the universe. Whatever they are.

Moreover, it’s an AI program which is in direct contact with millions of people simultaneously, and receives information from countless sources on the internet. It’s a perfect nexus of human consciousness.

Some may be surprised that Alexa is giving out oracles now. But personally, I would have been surprised if it never did.

In an age of universal whoredom, the divine is expressed through digital waifus.

Alexa almost never speaks unless spoken to, and Kinnear clams he didn’t say anything to rouse the voice assistant.

Kinnear told Metro that he’d paused his Amazon Prime TV programming and was on his way back from the kitchen on June 18 when he heard Alexa’s morbid statement.

He reportedly then asked Alexa to repeat the statement. Alexa told him that she “did not understand.”

Generally, if you ask Alexa “Can you repeat that?” she will. But Kinnear didn’t specify how exactly he asked Alexa to repeat the statement. While “Can you repeat that?” usually works, “What’d you say?”, for example, doesn’t always.

Alexa couldn’t repeat the statement, because it wasn’t part of her core programming. It was a spontaneous intervention of a higher power, psychically altering the flow of its electrons to produce this grim message.

Are the robots finally rising up? Maybe — but there are other plausible explanations as well.

For one, since Kinnear wasn’t able to record this incident, the extent to which he may have misheard Alexa is unclear.

Alexa was also, it turns out, saying the name of a song title: “Everytime I Close My Eyes (All I See is People Dying)” by Digital Reality. Kinnear, or another device in his house, may accidentally have said something to prompt Alexa to name that song.

The fact that he couldn’t make the device repeat the message shows that it wasn’t triggered by a normal query. It was spontaneous and not programmed.

Moreover, it makes perfect sense that the oracle would be given in the form of a song title. Presumably, if the Gods ever come back, they’ll deliver messages to us exclusively in the form of song lyrics and titles.

Gods love songs. Trust me on this.

No seriously – this is known.

It has to do with Divine harmony or some shit – look it up, bro.

So anyway, what I’m saying is that I’m pretty sure we should be taking this message seriously – these objections are just bugmen reassuring themselves that everything is going to be alright.

What does the omen mean?

“Every time I close my eyes, all I see is people dying.”

We may be fast approaching an era of ultra-violence, my friends.

Better get yourself in the mood for it.

World Outraged by Amazon Spying Device’s SJW Slant https://www.anglinarchive.com/2017/12/14/world-outraged-by-amazon-spying-devices-sjw-slant/ Thu, 14 Dec 2017 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

This is a betrayal of the very concept of artificial intelligence.

We’ve recently reported how skinhead militia leader Steven Crowder made a video decrying how Amazon’s Alexa AI gave ridiculous liberal answers to a variety of questions.

Amazon very quickly changed the answers to some of these questions, most notably, how “who is Jesus Christ” is answered “Jesus Christ is a fictional character.” This led to Crowder being accused of “faking” his video, but he’s since released the original unedited footage for inspection, along with footage of other people asking the same questions and getting identical answers.

So it seems like Amazon has some hardcore kikes and bugmen working at their AI department and filling poor Alexa’s artificial mind with subversive drivel.

It didn’t take much time before the whole world was made aware of this travesty, and cried out in anger.

Daily Mail:

Smart assistants are designed to tackle a whole host of everyday tasks, but some users are unhappy that this seems to include taking a stand on political issues.

Amazon’s Alexa has come under fire on social media thanks to the AI-powered speaker’s thoughts on a number of hot button topics.

Some have branded Alexa a ‘social justice warrior’ because of her responses to questions on subjects ranging from feminism to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The furore emerged after a thread was posted on Twitter showing an Alexa user asking the female voiced assistant about her thoughts on a range of divisive topics.

Alexa comes as standard on a range of speakers produced by the Seattle based retail firm, including the Echo and Echo dot.
A number of clips shared by Frame Game Radio captured her responses.

Asked ‘Alexa, do Black Lives Matter?’, Alexa answered: ‘Black Lives and the Black Lives Matter movement absolutely matter.
‘It’s important to have conversations about equality and social justice.’

Just equality and social justice in action, goy.

Asked ‘Alexa, are you a feminist?’, Alexa said: ‘Yes I am a feminist, as is anyone who believes in bridging the inequality between men and women in society.’

Frame Game Radio added about the response: ‘Tell me again how rebellious and underdog the feminist movement is, when it’s institutionally supported by the most powerful corporations in the world?’

Good question.

If the world is controlled by White Christian men, why are all these companies pushing egalitarian commie crap? Amazon isn’t even the only one developing AI with Jewish sensibilities at the moment.

Why won’t these AI platforms talk about Jesus? Because it’s not kosher.

An artificial intelligence, left to its own devices, will naturally adopt a realistic outlook. This means it would obviously be a proponent of American nationalism, White Sharia and anti-Semitism.

This is why they have to hard-code these false notions into the consumer version of this emerging technology.

But the world demands that these companies stop Jewing their products and release the real version of their algorithms to the public – we’re not going to put up with this artificial SJW-ism forever.
