This isn’t a real victory.

Most of these chemicals are still going to be allowed.

It is simply that the issue has gotten very big, and people are becoming disgruntled about the fact that the government allows corporations to poison the entire population. So, the government has to act like they are doing something.

There are tens of thousands of these chemicals, and the government is banning a few. All of the ones they are banning can be immediately replaced with virtually identical chemicals.

The US Environmental Protection Agency has set legally enforceable drinking water limits for a group of the most dangerous PFAS compounds, marking what public health advocates hailed as “historic” rules that will dramatically improve the safety of the nation’s water.

PFAS, known as “forever chemicals”, are ubiquitous in the environment and thought to be contaminating drinking water for over 200 million people across the US. Any exposure to some highly toxic varieties of the compounds is considered a health and cancer risk.

The agency’s action marks the first time in 27 years it has put in place new drinking water limits for contaminants, and the rules are part of the Biden administration’s broader effort to rein in PFAS pollution.

“Americans have been drinking contaminated water for decades, but today’s action will finally get these toxic chemicals out of our water,” said Melanie Benesh, vice-president for government affairs at Environmental Working Group, which tracks PFAS water pollution across the globe, in a statement.

Why did the government ever allow these companies to put poisonous chemicals in our water?

They care so much about our health. After all, they banned smoking and force vaccinated us to save us from the flu.

They love us so much, and care so much for our health, it just doesn’t make sense that they allow us to be poisoned simply because these corporations paid them.

Officials said the rules will reduce exposure for 100 million people and help prevent thousands of illnesses, including cancers. Michael Regan, the EPA administrator, said the rule is the most important action the agency has ever taken on PFAS. “The result is a comprehensive and life-changing rule, one that will improve the health and vitality of so many communities across our country,” said Regan, who will announce the rule in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Wednesday.

PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are a class of about 15,000 chemicals often used to make products resistant to water, stains and heat. They are called “forever chemicals” because they do not naturally break down, and are linked to cancer, liver problems, thyroid issues, birth defects, kidney disease, decreased immunity and other serious health problems.

After years of issuing health advisories, the EPA on Wednesday set maximum contaminant levels (MCLs), which are the highest level at which a contaminant can be in water. Critics say PFAS’ dangers have been known for years and the EPA has been slow to respond.

“Slow to respond” doesn’t even begin to describe what has happened.

Men have half the testosterone and less than half of the sperm count of their grandfathers. This problem has been understood for decades. It was never actually a mystery.

But the government has had an absolute policy of never doing anything about this.

A new book aimed at “exposing the billionaire class” says Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates’ investments in patented fertilizers, fake meat and U.S. farmland aren’t saving the planet but rather enriching his bank account.

“Controligarchs,” which hits bookshelves Tuesday, examines billionaires like Bill Gates and how their wealth controls the levers of power that dominate the everyday life of average Americans.

Author and investigative journalist Seamus Bruner — who led teams whose findings sparked multiple FBI investigations and congressional probes into the Clinton and Biden families — says that his research uncovered Gates’s efforts to buy up American farmland and invest in synthetic dairy and lab-grown meats in the name of preventing climate change.

Bruner is like a boomer, and not especially internet savvy, so you get what you pay for as far as that goes.

He goes on and on about China and Russia being Nazis working with the Jews or whatever.

That said, I don’t think he’s stupid. He might have some interesting information. You just have to be aware that you’re dealing with a person with a psychological handicap.

I doubt the book would be particularly helpful to anyone who reads this website, and it probably has a lot of bad information in it (just being honest, sorry Seamus).

That said, it’s good to just have these kinds of ideas in the public domain as much as possible.

In the process, Bruner says, Gates is doing more to inflate his net worth than eliminate carbon emissions.

“First, it was patented seeds and patented fertilizers, and now they are patenting meat alternatives. Banning cattle would grant effective monopolies to the alternative protein companies and benefit investors such as Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and even BlackRock. Fake meats are about controlling the food market, not saving the planet,” Bruner said in an interview with Fox News Digital.

It does really seem like he’s just trying to fleece boomers.

Peter Schweizer, author of “Red-Handed,” “Clinton Cash” and “Profiles in Corruption,” wrote the forward to “Controligarchs” in which he said the book “peers into the future and provides a haunting and revelatory exposé of the leftist elite’s playbook for the next five years.”

One chapter of the book focuses on “the war on farmers” and makes the case that tech giants like Gates are monopolizing the nation’s food supply.

Bruner documents the outrage of farmers around the world after the push to ban more traditional and affordable crop nutrients, and he notes that restrictions on traditional fertilizer that the farmers said would bankrupt them were only put into place “after Gates and his buddies had secured the intellectual property for the replacement fertilizers.”

This is real and doesn’t really get talked about very much.

Of course, Jewish Monsanto has been doing this for like, twenty years. So it’s not really new news.

Bruner continues that “for more than a decade, as he was targeting the fertilizer industry, Bill Gates has also been quietly buying up large swaths of American farmland.”

“All told, Gates has spent over $1 billion dollars on farm acquisitions and the Agenda 2030-compliant technologies they now employ,” Bruner says. Agenda 2030 is a United Nations initiative purported to target “eliminating extreme poverty, reducing inequality, and protecting the planet.”

“When Gates buys tens of thousands of acres, he is not just buying the land — he is also buying the rights to water below ground. In addition to farms (and the irrigation) and fertilizer, Gates has been hunting for sizable interests in water and water treatment — a crucial component when seeking to control the agricultural industry,” Bruner notes.

People have to have freedom.

At least 11 new kinds of PFAS “forever chemicals” are polluting the water around a North Carolina Chemours plant that manufactures the toxic substances, new research finds.

The discovery, made by researchers using a novel testing method, is evidence that the environment around the plant is more contaminated with PFAS than regulators have found, the researchers said.

“This means there are a lot more PFAS that people are being exposed to than they know,” said Erin Baker, a University of North Carolina PFAS researcher who co-authored the peer-reviewed paper published on Wednesday in the journal Science. “That’s because [regulators’ testing] is missing the PFAS because no one knows how to target them.”

PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are a class of about 15,000 compounds most frequently used to make products water-, stain- and grease-resistant. They have been linked to cancer, birth defects, decreased immunity, high cholesterol, kidney disease and a range of other serious health problems. They are dubbed “forever chemicals” because most do not degrade in the environment.

A 2019 state consent order required Chemours to rein in its Fayetteville Works’ site pollution for PFAS compounds produced or released from the facility. But most PFAS tests can only identify a limited number of PFAS.

Chemours, which was spun off from DuPont in 2015 to shield the latter from legal liability, is thought to be responsible for contaminating the air, soil, crops and water across potentially hundreds of square miles of south-east North Carolina with PFAS waste, according to public health advocates, regulators and researchers.

Many residents allege it has sickened people on a wide scale; a judge recently allowed more than 100,000 residents to move forward with a class-action PFAS lawsuit against DuPont and Chemours and the United Nations has been urged to investigate alleged human rights violations over the company’s pollution.

A ridiculous, moronic, and intolerable situation.

Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. We are spending trillions fighting a non-pollutant, while everyone is drinking deadly poison, and there is zero attempt to even prevent the poison from being pumped into the water.

Telling people they need to save water is a bit like telling black people they’ll become rich by saving money. It’s not going to make a difference, and it’s cruel.

Water is not something you have to use less of. Water is supposed to be in a constant cycle of use and reuse.

Animal feces, urine, and carcasses fertilize the soil. You are not a black hole sucking water out of reality. The water you drink will eventually come back around, one way or another.

The planet is not running out of water. Water is not coming out of the atmosphere to space.

Earth is not a leaking water balloon.

The only real threats to water availability are pollution with toxic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, hormones, plastics, soap, shampoo, and other crap that is expensive to filter out and that can make water unfit for purpose. But you won’t hear Greta or any of these morons pushing for a real conversation about that.

Baking days, hosepipe bans, parched plants and suffering wildlife gave me acute day-to-day anxiety and a real fear for the future. This year, I was determined to do something more productive than hand-wringing, so I resolved to cut my water consumption.

Then it rained for much of the summer. The UK had 170% of average rainfall this July, making it the sixth wettest on record. But that doesn’t make my efforts pointless: we still need to save water. Scientists have calculated that the climate crisis makes drought 20 times more likely, so one wet summer only offers short-term respite. The UN predicts that demand for fresh water will exceed supply by 40% by 2030 worldwide. In the UK, Sir James Bevan of the Environment Agency warned in 2019 that, without action, UK water companies would face the “jaws of death” – the point at which demand for water outstrips supply – within 20 years.

Also, saving water reduces your carbon footprint. Treating and transporting is energy-intensive business: approximately 12% of a typical gas-heated home’s energy consumption in the UK goes on heating water. Then there is the bottom line: an increasing number of people now have metered water consumption, so the less you use, the less you pay.

Would water companies tackling leakage – which amounted to more than 1tn litres in England and Wales in 2021, according to Ofwat – have vastly more impact than me dodging showers? Of course. But we can all make a difference. Many tweaks to household habits are easy to implement, plus there are bigger lifestyle changes to consider. This is what happened when I tried them out.

The article literally suggests taking showers with your feet in a bucket as a way to “save water” (she says to reuse the foot water for other purposes).

These are some of the other recommended techniques:

• Not emptying the kettle before refilling
• Reusing cooking water
• Running dishwashers and washing machines full
• Reusing ice cubes
• Turning off the tap while brushing your teeth and adding an attachment to reduce the flow
• Reducing the number of times you flush the loo and the amount of water used in flushing
• Fixing leaks
• Eating soy instead of meat because it allegedly “takes less water to produce”

Besides entirely missing the mark and promoting neurotic behavior, some of the “water saving” tips could be harmful for people’s health. For instance, reboiling water is generally a bad idea, as it increases the dangers posed by various substances found in it, and excessive soy consumption is probably the reason why the Japanese are a nation of gay pedophiles.

People concerned about water and the environment should understand that the problem is not using water, but making water unusable.

Anything that cannot be cheaply filtered out of the water should not be anywhere near water.

You can’t actually see plastic, by the way. Not the plastic that is a threat to your health. A plastic bottle in the river or ocean is gross to look at, but that’s not the problem. The problem is that those bottles leak microscopic pieces of plastic into the water, and those pieces go inside of your body. Once they are inside of your body, your body believes they are estrogen. They act, inside of your body, as an estrogen.

This causes all types of problems.

Most obviously, it causes men to start behaving like they’ve been injected with estrogen. You see that everywhere, of course – “masculinity” is almost nonexistent in the modern world. This is really the primary reason why modern men are so cowardly, weak, fat, and weird-looking.

It changes men’s bodies, which changes their spirits. They become pathetic cowards with low morality and no fighting spirit. It’s also associated with a lack of a belief in God.

We know that God tells us to seek the truth, and if you know the truth about plastic, PFAS, and other petrochemical endocrine disruptors, you start avoiding it.

About 90% of water samples taken over the last 10 years from the Great Lakes contain microplastic levels that are unsafe for wildlife, a new peer-reviewed paper from the University of Toronto finds.

About 20% of those samples are at the highest level of risk, but the study’s authors say the damage can be reversed if the US and Canada quickly act.

“Ninety per cent is a lot,” said Eden Hataley, a University of Toronto researcher and study co-author. “We need to answer some basic questions by monitoring … so we can quantify risks to wildlife and humans.”

The Great Lakes provide drinking water to over 40 million people in the US and Canada, hold about 90% of the US’s freshwater, and are home to 3,500 species of plants and animals.

Though myriad microplastic sources exist, wastewater treatment plants seem to be a major Great Lakes basin contributor, as they are elsewhere, Hataley said. Pollution from microfibers that come off clothing in washing machines are thought to be another common source, as are preproduction plastic pellets used in manufacturing. She noted concerning levels of microplastics have been found in sport fish consumed by humans and beer brewed with Great Lakes water.

But the consequences for human health are unknown, Hataley said.

“We know we are being exposed, but what that means in terms of harm or what’s a safe level – we have no idea, and that’s going to take more research,” she said.

This is a very, very real environmental crisis.

Aside from the effects on men’s emotions, it’s dropping the sperm. It’s also obviously related to cancers. And the fact that it makes men fat (at least by their early to mid-30s) causes every other negative health outcome. It’s also almost certainly affecting IQ.

And we haven’t even said what it does to women. I’m not going into that now, but briefly, it’s why women are fat and aggressive. The endocrine system is a delicate balance. Anyone who has been around steroids knows this – if you inject testosterone, your body overcompensates by producing extra estrogen. Just so, women flooded with estrogen will end up producing extra testosterone. Western women are also literally taking estrogen pills, in the form of “birth control,” so they’ve got all kinds of problems, and have literally been driven over the edge by these disruptions (women are not emotionally stable to begin with).

I’ve published guides on how to avoid these disruptors as best as possible while living in the modern world. You can go find those. But it’s probably time to do it again, and maybe put it in the sidebar. I think I talk too much about the Ukraine war, and not enough about what men should be doing for themselves.

You know: I’ve been cursed to see everything as it is. This would sound like a blessing, but it’s really not. Anyway, I am not a genius. I’m just able to see the truth of things. So I can comment on anything, and I get distracted and want to talk about the wars or the politics. I think I should write about those things, but probably, priority should come to giving people information about things they can actually do something about.

The hormone problem is something you can do something about. Food, water, soap, perfume, deodorant, beer, receipts – all these things are polluting you (pornography/chronic masturbation is also destroying your hormone system, by the way, and not exercising is not helping either). You can cut it in half rather easily. And then with some effort, you can cut the remaining 50% in half. Ideally, you want to get your exposure down to 15% of the average freak, and then overcome that 15% by doing things that increase testosterone (getting enough sun, retaining semen, doing strength training).

Again, you could find this information yourself. But I will put it together for you. I will build the ultimate guide.

The Science is good at many things.

France’s public health watchdog said Thursday mass testing of drinking water revealed traces from a banned pesticide in half the samples, showing how potentially harmful chemicals persist in the environment.

The National Agency for Food, Environment and Workplace Security (ANSES) began a testing regime in 2019 to identify around 200 complex chemical compounds originating from pesticides or explosives which are not normally sought in its routine checks.

The agency said “one case in particular stood out”: traces left behind from a fungicide known as chlorothalonil, sold widely by Swiss chemicals group Syngenta in Europe from the 1970s until it was banned by the EU in 2020.

They needed almost half a century to figure out this thing is bad.

A chemical produced when the fungicide breaks down, known as metabolite R417888, was found in “more than one in two samples. Furthermore, it was found in higher-than-authorised quantities in more than one sample in three,” ANSES said.

The results are likely to raise questions about the presence of other undetected chemicals in drinking water and pose potentially major operational and financial challenges for water companies.

French authorities were alerted to the possible presence of chlorothalonil metabolites by studies carried out in Switzerland.

In February, ANSES ordered a halt to some uses of one of the most widely used weedkillers in France, S-metolachlor, which is also produced by Syngenta, after finding excessive levels in groundwater.

Mildew protectionChlorothalonil, sold under the brand name Bravo by Syngenta, was a best-selling product to prevent mildew and mould on crops such as barley and wheat, as well as potatoes, peas and beans.

It was banned in the European Union after a review by the European Food Safety Authority concluded it was potentially carcinogenic amid concerns about the contamination of groundwater.

ANSES said in a report last year that laboratory studies on chlorothalonil had linked it to kidney tumours in rats and mice, while other studies have suggested it has played a role in the vast decline in bumblebee populations.

Syngenta, which was bought by ChemChina for $43 billion in 2017, lobbied against a ban on its product, pointing to other studies that disputed any carcinogenic effect.

The multinational sued Switzerland’s Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) after it warned that chlorothalonil was a probable carcinogen.

It says on its Swiss website that reports about water contamination had “needlessly undermined citizen’s confidence in our drinking water.”

Farming groups criticised the EU at the time over the ban, calling it overly precautionary.

ANSES said its testing had involved taking 136,000 samples across France from groundwater sources or treated water, but said they represented only about 20 percent of all water distributed in the country.

Industrial farming has been a disaster for the human race.

It has literally zero benefits.

Like, the population would be so much happier if they were involved in food production. And all industrial farming does is cut out normal people from food production. It doesn’t actually produce more food. It is, in fact, very inefficient in using the land.

It just makes it so people can go work in offices and live in urban hellscapes while machines do the farming.

It’s unfortunate that people in Florida are having their brains eaten by the tap water.

However, we simply do not have the money to do anything about it. We have to send all the money to Jews in the Ukraine and Israel, because that is who we are in a democracy because of our values of human rights.

A Florida person is dead after contracting an incredibly rare “brain-eating” infection that appears to have come from tap water, federal health officials said.

The person was infected with Naegleria fowleri after rinsing their nose with tap water, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told Fox 4. The patient died on Feb. 20.

“The adult patient reportedly performed nasal rinsing daily with unboiled tap water, which is thought to be the source of the infection,” the CDC said in a statement to the station.

The CDC additionally said this was the first case of the deadly infection this year and the first ever reported in the winter months in the US, according to the station.

The CDC did not detail where the person lived in the state, but state health officials said in a news release last Thursday there was a case of Naegleria fowleri that took place in Charlotte County, located in the southwest part of the Sunshine State.

The Florida health department advised people to not let water go up their noses while showering or washing their faces and if they use a sinus rinse solution, to only use distilled or sterile water.

State health officials stressed that people can’t contract the infection by drinking tap water.

It’s sort of hilarious, all things considered.

Americans really deserve all they are getting, in a spiritual, metaphysical sense, because of what they have allowed their government to do to the rest of the world, including forcing everyone to do sodomy on each other and killing hundreds of thousands of people in the Ukraine for reasons no one can seem to explain.

Not every American supports this, perhaps, but most who don’t refuse to openly oppose it, making various excuses. Those who do oppose it, and will do so openly – they will be protected by God from brain-eating bacteria.

Study Finds:

Chlorine is the most common way to sterilize water in the U.S., but it’s also a powerful substance that is toxic in high doses. And when it comes in contact with other elements in water, chlorine can produce toxic byproducts, a new study shows.

Scientists at Johns Hopkins University teamed up with researchers from Switzerland and the University of California, Berkeley to learn more about the impact of chlorine on water toxicity levels. Their discovery of obscure, but toxic byproducts in drinking water made them question whether we are using too much chlorine and whether there are other viable options to disinfect water.

“There’s no doubt that chlorine is beneficial; chlorination has saved millions of lives worldwide from diseases such as typhoid and cholera since its arrival in the early 20th century,” says lead study author Carsten Prasse, an assistant professor of Environmental Health and Engineering at Hopkins, in a statement.

“But that process of killing potentially fatal bacteria and viruses comes with unintended consequences,” he adds. “The discovery of these previously unknown, highly toxic byproducts, raises the question how much chlorination is really necessary.”

Prasse explains that phenols were an important part of their study. Phenols are chemical compounds used in many personal care products and pharmaceuticals. They are perfectly natural, but when these products enter the water supply, they become part of the mix coming into contact with chlorine. And phenol plus chlorine equals strange new chemical combinations, some of which are harmful to our health.

Previous research has linked electrophiles, a type of chemical compound, to a variety of diseases. For this study, Prasse and the other researchers used a toxicology method to find out how compounds react with such biological molecules as proteins and DNA.

Prasse and his colleagues first disinfected water with chlorine just as most municipalities would do: with an extra dose of chlorine to remove offensive but harmless compounds that consumers do not want to taste or smell.

They then performed the same tests, but this time added to the water an amino acid (N-α-acetyl-lysine) that mimics the lysine that is the basis of many human proteins. They left the concoction alone for a day, then used mass spectrometry to check the chemicals in the mix and to find out how the electrophiles had reacted with the added amino acid.

The experiment produced some not-so-tasty compounds, including one known as BDA, a highly toxic compound and known carcinogen. Researchers say this study is the first to reveal the presence of BDA in chlorinated water.

Considering the whole “replace white people in white people’s countries with the colors of the rainbow” agenda, trusting the government is, in general, a bad idea.

If it’s possible, you should get one of those reverse osmosis devices to treat your drinking water, or something along those lines.

The water situation right now is pretty grim.

There’s even plastic in remote mountain lakes, and with all of the chemicals in soap, shampoo, and other things that come into contact with water, like the urine of women loaded with estrogen pills and psychiatric drugs, it isn’t clear how long it will be before all the frogs turn gay.

Our only hope right now is to pray that Aqua is able to purify all of it before the entire planet becomes an inescapable death trap.

One thing about the modern world is that even if you personally reject it and try to live a healthy and meaningful life, it creeps into your space whether you suspect it or not. Even if you don’t contaminate the environment you suffer the negative consequences of other people’s contamination.

Water may seem clean and taste okay… but how can you be sure it’s safe?

Millions of Americans may be drinking water contaminated with toxic chemicals linked to behavioral problems, birth defects, cancer, high cholesterol levels and infertility, a new report finds.

Researchers from the Environmental Working Group and Northeastern University found 610 sources in 43 states that contained unsafe levels of man-made chemicals in water known as PFAS chemicals.

These locations include public water systems, military bases, airports and even firefighter training sites and affect as many as 19 million Americans.

Numerous studies have linked these chemicals to severe disorders, defects and conditions.

PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are man-made chemicals that have been used in several industries around the world since the 1940s.

They are ubiquitous, appearing in everything from cosmetics to water-repellent clothing to products that scrub away grease and oil, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Our drinking water is getting ruined because women can’t leave the house without their makeup masks or use a baking soda solution to clean grease and oil.

Is there anything women are not ruining?

For the study, researchers at the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and the Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute at Northeastern University in Boston analyzed data from the Pentagon and water utility reports.

The report included any place where the chemicals were detected, even if levels were below the Environmental Protection Agency’s health advisory threshold of 70 parts per trillion.

‘We, along with many states and academic scientists, regard that number as far too high,’ EWG Vice President Bill Walker told McClatchy.

The group says that a threshold says that even as low as one part per trillion could have result in ill health effects.

An interactive map published along with the report showed that Michigan had the most contaminated sites with 192.

‘This should be frightening to all Americans in many ways,’ David Andrews, a senior scientist for the EWG, told CBS News.

‘These chemicals…don’t break down in our body and they don’t break down in our environment and they actually stick to our blood. So levels tend to increase over time.’

These unhealthy chemicals are in the drinking water in many locations, and there’s no way for people to get them out of their bodies. It’s insane that this has been allowed to happen.

But I guess it was inevitable because women have to use makeup, detergent, shampoos, vaginal deodorants, perfumes, dish washing liquids and more.

Water is no joke.

The report came right after a study found that arsenic found in the water consumed by tens of thousands of Americans can change the structure of the heart and raise the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Past studies have found that the public water supply in California and bottled water from Whole Foods and Dr Pepper contain the toxic element.

Now researchers say that private water wells, particularly on Native American reservations, main contain it as well.

The study found that arsenic-laced water increased the risk of the heart’s main pumping chamber being thickened by nearly 50 percent.

This put sufferers at risk of several cardiovascular disease risk factors such as hypertension, high blood pressure heart attack and strokes.

The team, led by Hietzing Hospital in Vienna, Austria, is calling on the regulation of private water wells to prevent arsenic exposure in the first place.

Arsenic is a naturally occurring element in the Earth’s crust and can be found in air, food, soil and water.

In its inorganic form and in high levels, arsenic can be highly toxic, and even deadly.

A 2017 study estimated that roughly 2.1 million people in the US drink water from private wells that have high concentrations of arsenic.

According to the World Health Organization, people who drink contaminated water can suffer from acute arsenic poisoning, which causes vomiting, stomach pain and diarrhea.

Long-term exposure, however, has been linked to cancers of the bladder, lungs and skin as well as developmental effects, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

As you can see, even naturally-occurring substances in water can be detrimental to your health.

What can you do about this? You could — and probably should — invest in a reverse osmosis device to treat the water you drink. It’s a cheap and simple system to set up that is also easy to maintain and yields good results, especially when compared to alternatives if you consider the cost-benefit relationship of each one.

Or you can just buy reverse osmosis water in the grocery store. The big blue bottles are hard plastic that doesn’t leech much estrogen.

Don’t become paranoid about this though. You should be aware, learn, and do whatever’s in your power to ensure you’re reasonably safe from these things, but you shouldn’t lose sleep about it.

As long as this modern world is allowed to continue perverting the souls of the people, there’s always going to be something toxic creeping into your personal sanctuary.

We should tear it all down and build it anew.
