This dude doesn’t afraid of anything.

People be like “bro, you gonna die – your pod is doomed.”

He’s like “I was born to die.”

New York Post:

OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush ignored a flood of hair-raising red flags about the company’s Titan submersible in the years leading up to its doomed Titanic voyage last month.

During the ill-fated June 18 dive to the 1912 wreckage of the famed ship, the Titan imploded, killing Rush, who was piloting the vessel, along with the other four passengers: French Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet, 77; British billionaire Hamish Harding, 58; prominent Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, 48; and his 19-year-old son, Suleman Dawood.

But countless times before the voyage, Rush brushed aside or downplayed concerns from passengers, staff and colleagues about the Titan’s safety and construction.

David Lochridge, OceanGate’s former director of marine operations, said that he found “a lack of non-destructive testing performed on the hull of the Titan,” and when he raised his concerns, he was fired in 2018, according to a lawsuit.

Following the Lochridge blow-up, the Marine Technology Society sent a letter on to OceanGate, warning that its experimental designs and refusal to follow industry-accepted safety protocols could lead to “catastrophic” results.

Will Kohnen, the chairman of the organization, told the New York Times that Rush called him afterward to complain that industry regulations were undermining his company’s work.

Several others were additionally wary of the fact that the Titan sub had “elements of MacGyver-y jerry-rigged-ness,” as CBS reporter David Pogue told Rush in a 2022 broadcast.

The seemingly on-the-fly construction that caught past passengers’ attention included the Playstation controller used to steer the sub — and the fact that its buoyancy was maintained via rusty construction pipes resting on shelves on its side.

The flimsy construction caused Chris Brown, 61, a multimillionaire thrill-seeker who signed up for the doomed voyage with his friend Harding, to pull out of the trip.

“Eventually I emailed them and said, ‘I’m no longer able to go on this thing,’” Brown told the Sun, fearing OceanGate was “cutting too many corners.”

Former passenger and German adventurer Arthur Loibl, who paid nearly $110,000 for a peek at the Titanic wreck in 2021, said that when the bracket of the stabilization tube responsible for balancing the submersible tore, it was “reattached with zip ties.”

While giving Rush consulting advice on marketing and logistics, deep-sea expert Rob McCallum voiced his concerns about Titan’s system running on Bluetooth, he told the New Yorker.

“Every sub in the world has hardwired controls for a reason — that if the signal drops out, you’re not f–ked,” he said.

Karl Stanley, a former passenger, also encountered worrying signs about the sub’s shoddy construction on his 2019 dive off the coast of the Bahamas.

During the two-hour, 12,000-foot descent, Stanley heard a cracking sound that “sounded like a flaw/defect in one area being acted on by the tremendous pressures and being crushed/damaged,” he wrote in an email to Rush, which was obtained by the New York Times.

The cracking noise sound meant that there was “an area of the hull that is breaking down,” he said, warning Rush to cancel future expeditions and address the problem.

…

Another potentially damning decision on OceanGate’s part was that the company reportedly had hired students from Washington State University as interns to design some of its most important electronics.

“The whole electrical system – that was our design, we implemented it, and it works,” Mark Walsh, a former WSU student who worked on the Titan, told the university’s paper WSU Insider in 2018.

Rush himself made prescient comments about the tenuousness of the sub’s structure and safety during an interview with Mexican travel blogger Alan Estrada.

“I think it was Gen. [Douglas] MacArthur who said ‘You’re remembered for the rules you break’,” he said in the video interview.

“You know I’ve broken some rules to make this [the Titan]. I think I’ve broken them with logic and good engineering behind me.”

You gotta respect it.

He was in the pod.

I wonder if he was like, going through a divorce? Has anyone looked into that? I would think the chances are somewhere around 100% that this guy was in a divorce.

And then came the gayest of all retards: the Titanic pod people.

New York Post:

An old clip from the Discovery Channel show “MythBusters” demonstrating how a deep-sea explorer could implode in a depressurized diving suit has gone viral after the Titanic sub disaster.

The 2009 clip has racked up more than three quarters of a million views after being posted Thursday, when it was discovered that the five passengers aboard a Titanic wreckage-bound submersible had imploded.

In the show’s science experiment, a human-shaped mannequin was recreated from pig parts including bones, muscle, fat, skin and guts.

It was then sunk about 300 feet underwater — where pressure is roughly nine times greater than at sea level — and its diving suit was depressurized.

Over a gruesome roughly 30 seconds, the rapid change in air pressure forced the meaty contents of the fake diver into the helmet as the suit collapsed in on itself.

In reality, the reenactment has very little in common with the last moments of the doomed Titan sub passengers, who authorities have said were instantaneously killed at much greater depths and under extremely higher pressure.

The Titan submersible is believed to have imploded near the 12,500-foot-deep ocean floor where the ruins of the 1912 shipwreck lay.

Pressure levels at that depth would be up to 400 times greater than normal, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, meaning the five men aboard would have imploded in a fraction of a second.

Seriously.

You get what you deserve.

What a bunch of morons.

They are Finally Admitting the Doomed Pod was a Doomed Pup (Wreckage Found) https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/06/23/they-are-finally-admitting-the-doomed-pod-was-a-doomed-pup/ Fri, 23 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000

I was shocked to my core when these people in the media, 72 hours after the doomed pod went missing, were talking about “oh well, we need to hurry up because they’re running out of oxygen.”

Nigga, they dead. They been dead.

Anyone who got in this doomed pod and survived was carried through by God. This was their third voyage, and it is amazing they did two others without dying.

This was one of the most retarded things I’ve ever seen.

RT:

The US Coast Guard has found a piece of a deep-sea submersible in a “debris field” near the sunken wreck of the Titanic. The vessel’s five passengers all died in a “catastrophic explosion,” the military branch said.

“A debris field was discovered within the search area by [a Remotely Operated Vehicle] near the Titanic,” the Coast Guard’s northeastern district said in a statement on Thursday. In a press conference later that afternoon, District Commander Rear Admiral John Mauger told reporters that the tail cone of the submersible was found amid the debris.

The remains of the submersible are “consistent with a catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber,” Mauger explained. The vessel’s five passengers would have been killed instantly in such a scenario.

The OceanGate Titan lost contact with its surface vessel, the Polar Prince, around an hour and 45 minutes into its dive on Sunday morning. OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, French mariner Paul-Henry Nargeolet, British adventurer Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, and his son Sulaiman Dawood, were all on board at the time of the disappearance.

The Coast Guard immediately began searching an area of about 20,000 square kilometers, assisted by the Canadian military. Throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, a Canadian P-3 surveillance plane reported hearing banging sounds from an area close to where the submersible went missing.

Mauger told reporters that there “doesn’t appear to be any connection” between the noises and the location of the debris field.

Yeah, it was probably whales having sex.

The search for the submersible drew worldwide attention, and revealed some red flags at OceanGate. Speaking to CBS News in November, Rush explained that the vessel was entirely controlled with a generic bluetooth video game controller, which online sleuths discovered had a dismal reputation for reliability.

In an undated interview with Teledyne Marine, Rush once boasted about hiring employees based on diversity, stating that unlike others in the industry, he rejected job applications from “50-year-old white guys,” as he didn’t find them “inspirational.”

Yeah, as we reported yesterday, he was hiring 35-year-old white women who are into trannies, because I guess that really inspires him.

The retard should have just talked to the Barotrauma team.

Those guys have a lot of common sense and they sure do inspire me a lot more than some bitch.

James Cameron Says Experts Knew Doomed Sub Was a Doomed Pup from the Start, Slams Media Charade https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/06/23/james-cameron-says-experts-knew-doomed-sub-was-a-doomed-pup-from-the-start-slams-media-charade/ Fri, 23 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000

The number one expert on the Titanic – the man who made the movie itself – knew this doomed pod was a doomed pup.

You would have to be literally a retard to get in that pod.

You see this wiling ass fag waving around a $30 Logitech controller, and you gotta be like, “nigga, you can’t afford an X-Box controller?  What is up?”

New York Post:

“Titanic” director James Cameron has slammed the days-long search operation for the doomed Titan sub as a “nightmarish charade” — insisting he knew that the vessel had imploded just hours after it lost contact with the surface.

Cameron, a submersible pioneer who has made 33 trips of his own to the Titanic wreckage, told the BBC on Friday that he “felt in my bones” the Titan submersible had been lost soon after the news broke that the five people on board were missing.

The 68-year-old director said the subsequent hunt for the submersible — including the countdown of how much oxygen supply was left and that banging noises had been heard — “felt like a prolonged and nightmarish charade.”

“That was just a cruel, slow turn of the screw for four days, as far as I’m concerned,” Cameron said. “Because I knew the truth on Monday morning.”

“For me, there was no doubt. I knew that sub was sitting exactly underneath its last known depth and position. That’s exactly where they found it,” he added.

“I felt in my bones what had happened. For the sub’s electronics to fail and its communication system to fail, and its tracking transponder to fail simultaneously — sub’s gone,” he said.

The famed director said he quickly reached out to his submersible contacts and was informed within an hour that the vessel was close to the bottom of the ocean floor when it lost contact.

“Their comms were lost and navigation was lost. I said instantly, you can’t lose comms and navigation together without an extreme catastrophic event or high, highly energetic catastrophic event,” he said.

“The first thing that popped to mind was an implosion.”

Honestly, I wanted to hear that they died in a more outrageous way.

But when I saw the hull was carbon fibre, I knew that bitch just popped like a zit.

Zit ass pup – doomed like a bitch.

James Cameron might have made Avatar 2, but he’s like, you know, an adult.

No adult would think the doomed pod was a good idea.

That said, Cameron is the only reason anyone gives a shit about the Titanic, so sort of, this is all his fault.

If I was a family member, I would sue Cameron for “making the Titanic seem like it is way more relevant than it actually is in real life.”

Death Pod Retard Didn’t Want “50-Year-Old White Guy” Advising Him https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/06/22/death-pod-retard-didnt-want-50-year-old-white-guy-advising-him/ Thu, 22 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000
Dead moron “Stockton Rush” (is that a real name?) picked the shittiest possible blutooth gamepad to control his death pod.

He thought it would not be inspirational to have anyone who had any idea what they were doing involved with his death pod.

New York Post:

The OceanGate CEO who is trapped on a 22-foot submersible on an ill-fated voyage to see the Titanic wreck once explained how he didn’t hire “50-year-old white guys” with military experience to captain his vessels because they weren’t “inspirational.”

Stockton Rush, 61, added that such expertise was unnecessary because “anybody can drive the sub” with a $30 video game controller.

“When I started the business, one of the things you’ll find, there are other sub-operators out there, but they typically have, uh, gentlemen who are ex-military submariners, and they — you’ll see a whole bunch of 50-year-old white guys,” Rush told Teledyne Marine in a newly resurfaced undated Zoom interview.

“I wanted our team to be younger, to be inspirational and I’m not going to inspire a 16-year-old to go pursue marine technology, but a 25-year-old, uh, you know, who’s a sub pilot or a platform operator or one of our techs can be inspirational,” he continued.

It’s very funny.

I don’t feel bad for this dead retard or his victims. That is outside of my policy of “you shouldn’t ever feel emotions for things you read about in the media, or for people you don’t know.” I actually think the situation is hilarious.

Retards get what is coming to them by their own hand.

As it turns out, Rush did hire one 50-year-old white guy – who was fired for telling everyone the doomed pod was a doomed pup.

TechCrunch:

David Lochridge was terminated in January 2018 after presenting a scathing quality control report on the vessel to OceanGate’s senior management, including founder and CEO Stockton Rush, who is on board the missing vessel.

According to a court filing by Lochridge, the preamble to his report read: “Now is the time to properly address items that may pose a safety risk to personnel. Verbal communication of the key items I have addressed in my attached document have been dismissed on several occasions, so I feel now I must make this report so there is an official record in place.”

The report detailed “numerous issues that posed serious safety concerns,” according to the filing. These included Lochridge’s worry that “visible flaws” in the carbon fiber supplied to OceanGate raised the risk of small flaws expanding into larger tears during “pressure cycling.” These are the huge pressure changes that the submersible would experience as it made its way and from the deep ocean floor. He noted that a previously tested scale model of the hull had “prevalent flaws.”

Carbon fiber composites can be stronger and lighter than steel, making a submersible naturally buoyant. But they can also be prone to sudden failure under stress. The hull that Lochridge was writing about was made by Spencer Composites, the only company to have previously made a carbon fiber hull for a manned submersible. (That submersible was commissioned by explorer Steve Fossett for a record-breaking dive, but he died in a light aircraft crash before it could be used.)

Lochridge’s recommendation was that non-destructive testing of the Titan’s hull was necessary to ensure a “solid and safe product.” The filing states that Lochridge was told that such testing was impossible, and that OceanGate would instead rely on its much touted acoustic monitoring system.

The company claims this technology, developed in-house, uses acoustic sensors to listen for the tell-tale sounds of carbon fibers in the hull deteriorating to provide “early warning detection for the pilot with enough time to arrest the descent and safely return to surface.”

Lochridge, however, worried in the lawsuit that the system would not reveal flaws until the vessel was descending, and then might only provide “milliseconds” of warning before a catastrophic implosion.

Russell McDuff, a veteran oceanographer and chairman of OceanGate’s scientific and research foundation for three years, noted that contact with the Titan was lost on Sunday after only an hour and 45 minutes. “This suggests to me that they might have still been in the water column, descending to the Titanic,” told TechCrunch in a phone interview.

Lochridge also strongly encouraged OceanGate to have a classification agency, such as the American Bureau of Shipping, inspect and certify the Titan.

A day after filing his report, Lochridge was summoned to a meeting with Rush and company’s human resources, engineering and operations directors. There, the filing states, he was also informed that the manufacturer of the Titan’s forward viewport would only certify it to a depth of 1,300 meters due to OceanGate’s experimental design. The filing states that OceanGate refused to pay for the manufacturer to build a viewport that would meet the Titan’s intended depth of 4,000 meters. The Titanic lies about 3,800 meters below the surface.

The filing also claims that hazardous flammable materials were being used within the submersible.

At the end of the meeting, after saying that he would not authorize any manned tests of Titan without a scan of the hull, Lochridge was fired and escorted from the building.

I guess that explains his opposition to 50-year-old white guys.

He didn’t want anyone getting in the way of his lunatic agenda.

So instead he hired 35-year-old white women who are happy to watch white men die in death pods.

Here’s this bitch filming the final descent of that doomed pup:

@abbijaxxxon #titanic ♬ Us A COLORS SHOW

She’s apparently too busy crying right now to remove that from TikTok.

She also has videos taking other death pod staff to drag shows.

My sides.

We’re reaching levels of “doomed pup” that shouldn’t even be possible.
