This is how you stick it to Putin.

CBC:

Members of Canada’s military will soon be soldiering under much less strict dress rules as the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) introduces updated regulations on personal grooming.

Under the new rules — which were released Tuesday and go into effect in September — CAF will allow military personnel to, among other things, colour their hair and grow it to any length, and to sport face tattoos.

“The bottom line is, the Canadian Forces Dress Instructions are about fifty years old and so the policy as a whole was overdue for revision,” says a Department of National Defence (DND) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page detailing the update.

“The appearance of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has not kept pace with the Canadian society which it serves.”

Many of the new liberties are conditional. Unnatural hair colour, for example, is allowed “unless it inhibits an operational duty,” the DND page says.

“For example, bright coloured hair may have a negative operational impact during field operations or training. Leaders are invited to discuss with their members to find a simple, suitable accommodation, such as a scarf to cover the hair.”

Restrictions on hair length are also out — hair can be grown to any length but it must be tied up if it extends beyond the shoulders. Hair also must not inhibit a CAF member’s vision and must allow them to wear head coverings, such as berets.

Facial hair may also be grown to any length, so long as it’s neatly groomed and symmetrical. Commanding officers will still have the right to order a member to shave or to not grow facial hair, depending on safety and operational requirements.

A backpack can now be slung over just one shoulder, so long as it’s the left.

“This leaves the right arm free to salute,” the page says.

“Uniformity does not equal discipline, or operational effectiveness, any more than the colour or length of your hair defines your commitment or professional competence,” Gen. Wayne Eyre, Canada’s chief of the defence staff (CDS), said in a video CAF posted to Twitter on Tuesday.

He acknowledged the changes could be divisive within the military.

“Some will consider this progress, while others may see this as unwarranted,” Eyre said.

“We must be wary of the false dichotomy that we must choose between changing our dress and appearance, or be strong.”

The move comes as the CAF faces a significant recruiting shortfall. The military reported earlier this year that it’s about 7,600 members short of full strength.

Other armed forces are also loosening dress and grooming rules, including the United States Army and the British Army.

Uniforms no longer divided by gender

CAF uniforms will no longer be divided into “male” and “female” categories, and can be worn in combination.

“Both catalogues are open to all members and they may be intermixed. CAF members may choose whichever design best fits, as long as it is worn as per the Dress Instructions,” the page says.

Under the current Dress Instructions, only women are permitted to wear skirts and blouses as part of a uniform. The revisions allow men to wear these items as well.

No military with men in dresses has ever lost a war.

Wales Criminalises Parents Who Discipline Their Children https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/03/26/wales-criminalises-parents-who-discipline-their-children/ Sat, 26 Mar 2022 00:00:00 +0000

I’ve looked at both sides of the “hitting children” issue. I had always just assumed it was fine, and then watched Stefan Molyneux (remember him?) whine about it, and though I never went all in on his “never hit a kid” position, I did realize some nuance to “spare the rod, spoil the child.”

Probably, it’s primarily an age issue. I think you have to slap the hands of small children, spank them, whereas whipping larger children is more complicated. I think some of the corporal punishment doctrine that came out of the evangelical movement in the 1980s was definitely insane.

One thing is for sure: it’s none of the government’s business.

But this is really just an extension of the government telling you you aren’t allowed to slap your wife.

The Guardian:

Smacking and slapping children has been outlawed in Wales, with people told to contact social services or police if they see a parent or carer meting out physical punishment.

The law change, which came into force first thing on Monday, was hailed as “historic” by the Labour-led Welsh government and a number of child protection champions, who called for England to follow suit.

But critics, including the Welsh Conservatives, expressed concerns that it would criminalise parents trying to do their best and create a “Stasi culture” with people “shopping” their neighbours and even making malicious allegations.

The legislation that has come into force removes the defence of “reasonable punishment” that has been in force since Victorian times in England and Wales and makes all forms of physical punishment against children, such as smacking, hitting, slapping and shaking illegal. The law will apply to everybody in Wales, including visitors.

Julie Morgan, the deputy minister for social services, who has campaigned for the law change for more than two decades, said: “Today is a historic moment for children and their rights in Wales as we make physically punishing children a thing of the past.”

Julie Morgan

Morgan rejected the notion the law would create a “Stasi culture”. She said: “We don’t want people spying,” but added: “Looking after children is the responsibility of the whole community.”

Morgan said attitudes had changed in recent years with few parents now using physical punishment. “The culture has started to change and I think this law will reinforce that,” she added.

She said she hoped England would follow the example of Wales and Scotland, which brought in a ban in November 2020. She said: “We’d love it to happen in England. We’re happy to work with people in England to push this forward.”

Viv Laing, the policy and public affairs manager at NSPCC Cymru Wales, said both England and Northern Ireland, where there has been no law change, were outliers.

She said: “In Wales, as in more than 60 countries around the world, we will no longer tolerate physical violence against children. Until now, children were the only group in our society who it was acceptable to strike in certain circumstances. We don’t allow the physical punishment of adults or animals, so it is absurd that we have for so long with children.”

The Welsh government’s website makes it clear that anyone who physically punishes a child will be breaking the law, risks being arrested or charged with assault and may get a criminal record.

…

The Welsh Conservative and shadow social services minister, Gareth Davies, said the law was “unnecessary, unworkable, and undesired” and had been pushed through by politicians who thought they knew better than parents.

He said: “I am very worried about campaigns that encourage a Stasi culture in Wales where people – and children – are encouraged to shop parents who discipline their children in what they deem a proportionate manner into the police.

“The Labour government in Cardiff Bay is clearly more interested in new age dogma rather than respecting parents.”

A generation of faggots.

Meanwhile, also in Wales

California Law Makes It Illegal for Teachers to Discipline “Students” (Brown Children) https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/12/30/california-law-makes-it-illegal-for-teachers-to-discipline-students-brown-children/ Mon, 30 Dec 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

The traditional (and proven) way to discipline students is to beat them with an axe, but now in Commiefornia teachers can’t even suspend students. Smdh.

One of the big problems in the lawless hell that is California is that it’s getting very difficult to give even high school degrees to the ever-growing population of brown primitives populating the state.

After all, most of these people barely speak English, have no interest in learning anything or having a career that doesn’t involve dealing drugs, and are also genetically predisposed to being violent savages.

But even all that can still be more or less glossed over by sufficiently lowering the standards, to the point where having a steady pulse is enough to graduate.

But all the standard-lowering and number-fudging can’t compensate for the fact that these brown students are getting ejected from class and expelled from school for behaving like the unruly primitives that they are.

How do you even award a degree to a student that spends most of his time suspended for smoking weed in class and assaulting teachers?

Thank God the Jewtopia of California has the solution: make all forms of basic discipline illegal.

KRON4:

New laws taking effect in 2020 will impact schools across California.

Starting next school year, it will be illegal for public schools in the state to suspend students in first through fifth grade for willfully defying teachers or administrators.

Then, from 2021 through 2025, it will be temporarily extended to kids in grades six through eight.

Supporters say suspensions for willful defiance are disproportionately used against students of color.

Another new law — a mandatory change to school start times.

The law is set to be phased in over the next three years. High schools can start no earlier than 8:30 a.m., and no sooner than 8 a.m. for middle schoolers.

The controversial measure could be costly, state legislative analysts have said some schools may end up spending millions to accommodate the adjustment.

Limiting and banning smartphone use is at the center of another law affecting schools in 2020.

School boards will have the power to ban devices with the exception of emergencies or other special situations, such as medical reasons.

Supporters say smart phone use is linked to lower student performance and interferes with the educational mission of schools.

Obviously, banning smartphones from school is an obvious thing that should have been done everywhere years ago.

You can’t learn anything when you’re constantly distracted by your phone.

As an aside, it’s also very hard to learn anything when youths with raging hormones are crammed like sardines in mixed-gender classrooms with loose dress codes.

To a 15-year-old boy, very few things are more interesting than girls’ bodies – and math definitely isn’t one of those.

But seriously though, schools are now basically maximum security prisons where the prisoners have all the power and the wardens can’t do a single thing about anything.

After all, most forms of classroom discipline have already been outlawed long ago. Teachers can’t rely on corporeal punishment. They can’t even be rude to students. Suspending students was the last line of defense that allowed teachers to ensure a minimum of order. But now it’s gone.

Imagine having to teach algebra to a classroom full of aggressive, hateful Mexican and Black gangbangers, while having no power to hit them, insult them, kick them out or suspend them.

It’s such a nightmare that being a Californian high-school teacher should be a punishment reserved for the worst class of criminals, such as murderers, rapists, Jews and politicians.

A world of pure pain, without end.

These Californian schools have shed all pretense of being “educational institutions.” They’re nothing more than big concrete boxes to hold the next generation of criminals for a decade until they’re ripe and ready to be released on the streets.

Sick Teacher Replaces Detention with Torture by Yoga https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/03/03/sick-teacher-replaces-detention-with-torture-by-yoga/ Sat, 03 Mar 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

Who would do this to a child, smdh.

I understand that with all the diversity, even elementary schools are going to have discipline problems. Uppity nig nogs are going to run wild and screw everything up.

Yes, that’s a problem that needs to be resolved.

But is the solution really torture?

What kind of sick fuck would think of such a thing? I don’t want to torture Black children, I just want to send them back to Africa on cattle carts. Though I guess I might start to feel differently if I had to teach classes full of them for decades.

But still, though. This is hardcore.

CBS/a>:

A special grant from Denver Public Schools has allowed Doull Elementary to pilot a program where they trade out detention for Yoga.

“I teach children the practice of yoga and meditation,” said Trinidad Heffron.

She’s got the face of a sadist, that’s for sure.

For Miss Triny, as the kids call her, and for the school, this is about reevaluating the way they discipline, not taking it easy on the kids.

You can say that again.

Look, I’ve done yoga. It’s just pure pointless torture. You just twist yourself in an awkward position, and then hold that for 15 minutes until you can’t feel your legs.

“Kill me… Please… My world is pain!”

“Yoga and meditation, they’re not necessarily an easy practice. I would say it’s challenging, but useful,” said Heffron.

It’s useful for teaching the fear of God in misbehaving nigglets, I’ll grant you that.

“What’s more important? Punishing kids for a mistake they made or teaching them some skills that they can actually use in life to not make the same mistakes again,” said school psychologist Carly Graeber.

Skills that transcend the classroom.

“You can do yoga and you can practice yoga anywhere, any time and maybe when they are riding a bike, they can take deep breath and go, ‘Oh, I’m using my yoga breath,” said Heffron.

So this yoga breath can allow misbehaving minorities to chill out?

A negro child using mystical yoga breathing techniques to reach Nigvana.

If so, I’m all for it.

“Math and reading and science and social studies are all so important to us here, but also we’re really in the business of teaching kids social and emotional skills that they can use for their lives, so how to solve problems, how to deal with complicated feelings and things like that,” said Graeber.

To be honest, this is all needlessly cruel. Even ignoring the physical torture aspect, being locked in a room with this broad:

…talking about feelings and “emotional skills” is child abuse, and I wouldn’t wish it even on Black kids.

The Anglin plan, which consists of simply locking up all Black boys from childhood to 30 years of age, is far more humane, and will solve all these discipline problems with no need for needless cruelty.

Children as young as five kicked out of class as almost 100 Primary Pupils are Suspended EVERY DAY For Assaults on Teachers and Classmates https://www.anglinarchive.com/2013/07/26/children-as-young-as-five-kicked-out-of-class-as-almost-100-primary-pupils-are-suspended-every-day-for-assaults-on-teachers-and-classmates/ Fri, 26 Jul 2013 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Levy

  • Thousands are sent home for verbal abuse or threatening behaviour
  • 120 pupils expelled for assaulting classmates and 200 for assaulting staff
  • Department of Education figures reveal statistics for 2011/12 school year

Nearly 50 primary school pupils are being sent home every day for attacking teachers and other staff, disturbing figures reveal.

The number has soared more than 10 per cent in one year, heightening concerns about a breakdown in discipline. When attacks on fellow pupils are included, the figure rises to 100 exclusions a day.

Children aged five to 11 were already more likely to assault adults than secondary school pupils, but the gulf has continued to widen.

Official statistics show that 8,830 primary school children were excluded in 2011/12 – 200 of them permanently. This was up from 8,030 the previous year.

Graham Stuart, the Tory chairman of the Commons’ education select committee, said the figures were ‘shocking’. He added: ‘It suggests a serious deterioration in discipline and behaviour in primary schools which needs to be fully investigated.

‘It raises questions not only about how schools are run but also about what’s going on in the community from which they come.’

Philip Davies, the Tory MP for Shipley, added: ‘When you see how some parents treat teachers then there’s little wonder why children follow suit. Perhaps we need to do more to make parents responsible for the actions of their children.’

Primary school pupils were also expelled on 120 occasions for assaulting a classmate – up from 90 the year before.
