The US Army is investigating several officers who took sexually explicit photos of themselves wearing BDSM gear, USA Today reported on Monday citing Army officials.

The photos were spread on social media last week and showed the male soldiers in uniform or parts of their uniforms, wearing chains, leather and dog masks. Some of the photos depicted poses of sexual acts or submission play, while another featured an officer in a dog mask standing on an airfield.

According to the outlet, internal Pentagon email traffic suggested that the pictures were taken at a base in Hawaii, where the soldiers are believed to be based.

“US Army Pacific is aware of content found on social media reflecting soldiers’ activities while wearing uniforms,” an Army spokesperson told USA today in a statement, adding that “the incident is currently under investigation.”

The chances that they are actually going to do something about this are zero.

If they were going to do something, they would just announce that they’d done something already, rather than announcing “an investigation.”

A former CNN producer pleaded guilty to a child sex charge on Monday for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl after luring her to his Vermont ski house.

John Griffin, 45, pleaded guilty in federal court to using interstate commerce for the enticement of a minor as part of a plea deal in which the two remaining counts of enticement of a minor he was initially charged with last year were dropped.

Griffin, of Stamford, Connecticut, met a woman online and persuaded her to bring her 9-year-old daughter to his $2.5 million Vermont cabin where he engaged in sexual activity with the child, according to prosecutors.

Griffin paid the mother $3,000 to fly from Nevada to Boston in July 2020, where he picked them up in a Tesla and drove them to his Ludlow, Vermont house, where he directed the young girl to engage in unlawful sexual activity.

The mother, Heather Carriker, was also arrested and slapped with child abuse and child sex assault charges.

The former producer asked the parents of several minors to bring their daughters to his home for “sexual subservice” training and allegedly bragged about luring girls as young as 7 to his pad.

He told the parents he believed that a “woman is a woman regardless of her age” and that as such, all women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men, prosecutors said.

Griffin tried to get other young girls to do sex acts for him through their parents, according to court documents.

In April 2020, he suggested to the mother of a 14-year-old girl that she and her daughter do a “virtual training session” over video chat in which he would instruct the pair to undress and touch one another at his direction.

Two months later he tried to persuade a woman and her 16-year-old daughter to take a “little mother-daughter trip” to his ski house for sexual training.

He attempted to lure the girls to his Vermont ski house for “training sessions” on such things as “spanking” and “c–k worship,” prosecutors said in court documents.

Heather Carriker, 48, of Henderson, was arrested on August 21, 2020, on two counts of child abuse, two counts of sexual assault against a child under 14 and one count of lewdness with a minor under 14.

Former Chris Cuomo producer Griffin is accused of flying Carriker and a 9-year-old girl described as her adoptive daughter to Logan Airport in Boston in July 2020 and then driving them in his red Tesla to a $2.5 million ski house in Ludlow, Vt., according to a federal indictment filed in Vermont last week.

Carriker was one of several women claiming to be the mother of a young daughter whom Griffin contacted on kink websites about training the girls in “sexual subservience.” He allegedly paid Carriker $3,350, in part for the flight to Boston.

Griffin’s apparent involvement with Carriker came to light as part of a police investigation in Nevada spurred by the child’s biological mother, Catherine O’Sullivan. O’Sullivan, who apparently took care of her daughter some of the time, discovered a trove of disgusting text messages between Carriker and a man, called “Meet Man,” who helped set Carriker up with at least four other “boyfriends” for BDSM activity, according to the police report.

At one point, Carriker allegedly references going to meet a man described as her “Dom.” Carriker also texted “Meet Man” that she had a “very eager 9yo,” referring to the girl whom she later took with her to meet Griffin in Vermont, who wanted to come see “Meet Man” engage in BDSM activities, the report stated.

O’Sullivan had no idea that Carriker had allegedly taken the child to Boston and Vermont to stay with Griffin until she stumbled across the information in Carriker’s phone and computer — which were accessible via the 9-year-old’s phone, according to the report. O’Sullivan then called Griffin, who apparently confirmed that Carriker and the girl were with him, the report stated.

Griffin also allegedly told O’Sullivan that Carriker had had some sort of accident in Boston and was hospitalized, and the child was alone with him in Vermont, the report said.

“John claimed nothing happened between him and (the girl),” the report said. “He told Catherine he did not want to talk to police but would if he had to.”

However, the girl told a police-affiliated social worker that she had taken part in explicit sexual activity at Griffin’s Ludlow home with both Griffin and Carriker, according to the police report. She said it all took place on the third floor of the $2.5 million ski house, the report said.

A tweet that went viral this week said Balenciaga had used as a prop a legal document referring to “virtual child porn.” The picture, however, was from a different photoshoot released in November in collaboration with Adidas.

Some eagle-eyed commentators said it mentioned the 2002 Ashcroft v. Free Speech Coalition litigation. The US Supreme Court struck down portions of federal legislation outlawing child porn, which, plaintiffs argued, went against the First Amendment. The ruling agreed that the government could not ban images that were not obscene and the production of which did not involve abuse of children.

That was the part that removed all doubt about what they were trying to say. The goal was clearly to remove any doubt. The court papers do not make sense in the photo shoot otherwise.

Some media outlets identified the page as coming from the Supreme Court ruling on the 2008 United States v. Williams case. That decision upheld another federal act aimed against child porn, which was challenged on freedom-of-speech grounds.

The company acknowledged that documents featured in its promotional materials were “unsettling,” and promised legal action “against the parties responsible.”

Social media platforms including Facebook and TikTok are failing to stop hate and threats against LGBTQ users, a report issued Wednesday from advocacy group GLAAD found.

Those are some of the internet’s most vulnerable users, with a majority of LGBTQ people saying they’ve faced menacing posts or comments when they’re scrolling through social media. But it’s unclear how social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube are handling those threats.

Instead of protecting their users, GLAAD says in the report, the tech companies are safeguarding information about how they respond to those attacks, revealing few details about how often they take down posts or accounts that push hate speech or harass LGBTQ users.

“The reality is, there’s very little transparency and very little accountability,” said Jenni Olson, GLAAD’s director for social media safety and author of the report. “And people feel helpless.”

Los Angeles resident Peter Sapinsky, a gay musician who said he has faced harassment in the online gaming community, shared screenshots with The Associated Press of dozens of messages he’s sent to YouTube about users and videos that use racist and homophobic slurs. YouTube has responded to only some of the messages, he said.

Sapinsky, 29, said some use YouTube to livestream themselves harassing people at Pride parades. They quickly delete those live videos once they’ve wrapped to evade being detected by YouTube for violating its policies against hate speech, he said. He listed a series of homophobic slurs he’s heard in videos posted by users who are still operating on the site.

“YouTube doesn’t do anything about it,” Sapinsky said. “For someone who says they don’t allow hate on the website, they sure do.”

A Twitter spokesperson said in a statement that the company was discussing the report’s findings with GLAAD. A statement from TikTok did not directly address the report but said the company is working to create an “inclusive environment.”

GLAAD recommended that the platforms start releasing the training methods for content moderators as well as the number of accounts and posts the companies remove for violating rules designed to protect LGBTQ users.

GLAAD’s report examines the policies and actions Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Twitter have implemented around LGBTQ issues.

Some users bully LGBTQ people on social media by misgendering or deadnaming them. One example came last month, when a conservative social media pundit sent a swarm of Twitter users to harass transgender actor Elliot Page with the wrong pronoun and name. That Twitter user was suspended under the company’s hateful conduct policy.

Is there such a thing as “deadpicturing” trannies? It would be funny to get trannies to demand the removal of all past pictures of them from the internet.

A Japanese man says he has fulfilled his life-long ambition of becoming a four-legged animal after spending two-million Yen (£12,500) on a dog costume.

The man, who goes by the name of Toko-san, commissioned an agency called Zeppet who spent 40 days making the bespoke Collie outfit.

Posting photos of himself in the costume, Toko-san, said: ‘I made it a Collie because it looks real when I put it on.

‘I thought that a big animal close to my size would be good – considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog.’

A bizarre video clip of Toko-san dressed in the Collie costume emerged on YouTube in early April, which shows him standing on all fours in front of a camera with jaunty piano music playing in the background.

As the music plays, he lifts his right paw twice in an apparent greeting before raising his left paw.

The Lassie look-a-like is then seen rolling on the floor and waving his legs and paws in the air.

But while some have praised the life-like outfit as ‘awesome’ others have said it looks unnatural, with one viewer commenting: ‘No matter how much money you spent, you won’t be a real dog.’

An American hospital patient in the state of Maryland is reportedly in stable condition just days after he received an experimental pig heart transplant as a last resort.

David Bennett, 57, consented to the experimental transplant after realizing it was his final shot at surviving terminal heart disease due to his ineligibility to receive a human heart.

“It was either die or do this transplant. I want to live. I know it’s a shot in the dark, but it’s my last choice,” he said before the surgery took place.

While the experiment appears to have been successful, with Bennett breathing on his own just three days after the operation, he remains connected to a heart-lung machine and his condition will continue to be monitored for several weeks.

“This organ transplant demonstrated for the first time that a genetically-modified animal heart can function like a human heart without immediate rejection by the body,” said the University of Maryland School of Medicine, whose scientists performed the procedure.

Everyone should have an ever-expanding list titled “I’d Rather Die Than:” and aim to make it as long as possible.

This whole “fear of death” thing is so tiresome. It makes people so easy to manipulate. The most blatant example these days is the whole vax thing, where you have an important number of people taking dose after dose because they’re scared of dying, but you also have some people on the other side who avoid the so-called vaccines because they think the injections are going to kill them.

A CNN producer who worked alongside former host Chris Cuomo has been arrested and charged with luring minors to his home for sexual activity. The accused pedophile wanted to “train” his victims to be “sexually submissive.”

John Griffin, 44, worked alongside disgraced CNN host Chris Cuomo on ‘New Day’, and most recently served as producer for John Avlon, the liberal network’s senior political analyst. Outside of work, however, the Connecticut man’s interests were dark and disturbing, and Griffin was arrested on Friday and charged with three counts of attempting to entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity.

According to a statement from the Justice Department, Griffin used instant messaging apps last year to contact the parents of minor daughters, persuading them “to allow him to train their daughters to be sexually submissive.”

A “woman is a woman regardless of her age,” he allegedly said.

In June he allegedly told one mother that her nine- and 13-year-old daughters should be “trained properly,” and paid $3,000 for the woman and the nine-year-old to fly from Nevada to Boston. From there he is accused of driving them to his house in Ludlow, Vermont, where “the daughter was directed to engage in, and did engage in, unlawful sexual activity.” 

The accused pedophile also targeted two other minors. In one instance last April, he is accused of holding a “virtual training session” where he instructed a mother to undress and molest her 14-year-old daughter. In June he allegedly proposed that another mother bring her 16-year-old daughter to his house for a “little mother-daughter trip,” where the daughter would be abused.

He was messaging the mothers and being upfront about what he wanted to do with their daughters!

The US has issued its first-ever passport with an “X” gender designation — in what advocates have praised as a historic win for non-binary, intersex and gender-nonconforming people.

The unidentified traveler was allowed to choose an “X” instead of an “F” or “M,” for female or male, in the “sex” section of the federally issued document, the State Department announced Wednesday.

“I want to reiterate, on the occasion of this passport issuance, the Department of State’s commitment to promoting the freedom, dignity, and equality of all people — including LGBTQI+ persons,” Ned Price, a spokesman for the department, said in a statement.

Jessica Stern, the country’s special diplomatic envoy for LGBTQ rights, said the groundbreaking move brings the government up to speed with the notion that sex and gender aren’t always black and white.

“When a person obtains identity documents that reflect their true identity, they live with greater dignity and respect,” Stern said, adding there’s a spectrum for human sex characteristics.
