It is so very obvious that these “sanctions on Jews” exist only to try to make it look like Western countries are doing something about Jewish mass murder.

The UK Foreign Office has announced sanctions against seven organisations that support illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank, but held back from penalising two extremist members of the Israeli government as the former foreign secretary David Cameron had been planning.

Cameron told the BBC on Tuesday that he had intended to impose sanctions on Israel’s finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, and the national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and said he was concerned that the Labour government had not adopted his proposal. He said he had only held back from taking the step in the spring because he had been advised that it would be too political during the general election.

The Foreign Office said its latest sanctions had been in preparation for weeks and were not a kneejerk response to Cameron’s disclosure.

The sanctions are against three illegal settler outposts and four organisations the Foreign Office said had “supported and sponsored violence against communities in the West Bank”. It said there had been an unprecedented rise in settler violence, with 1,400 attacks on Palestinians recorded by the UN since October 2023.

The current foreign secretary, David Lammy, said: “When I went to the West Bank earlier this year I met Palestinians whose communities have suffered horrific violence at the hands of Israeli settlers.

“The inaction of the Israeli government has allowed an environment of impunity to flourish where settler violence has been allowed to increase unchecked. Settlers have shockingly even targeted schools and families with young children.”

He vowed further asset freezes would be imposed to stop “these heinous abuses of human rights”.

If there is a point, it’s that these people are drilling home the fact that the Jews are absolute monsters.

Probably, there are some people in Western governments who are tired of being controlled by the Jews. This is a way to lash out at them.

A number of text messages were exchanged followed by a brief video call between Lord Cameron and someone purporting to be Poroshenko, the Foreign Office said in a statement.

Poroshenko served as Ukrainian president between 2014 and 2019 and has remained a prominent figure in Ukraine since leaving office.

It seems like it wasn’t for the purpose of a prank, but rather someone was just messing with Cameron, trying to work him towards some even more hilarious purpose than simply a silly call.

Cameron said in a Reuters interview: “Ukraine has the right to strike inside Russia because Russia is striking inside Ukraine … You can understand why Ukraine feels the need to defend itself.”

He added: “We’ve just emptied all we can in terms of giving equipment. Some of the equipment is actually arriving in Ukraine today while I am here.”

The foreign secretary announced that the UK’s donation of military equipment would include precision-guided bombs, air defence missiles and equipment for 100 mobile air defence teams to enable Ukraine to shoot down Russia’s drones and missiles.

The UK also committed to doubling its domestic munitions production by investing a further £10bn over the next 10 years. This production aims to ensure UK national security while sustaining the flow of weapons to Kyiv, keeping Ukraine in the fight for as long as it takes.

He said the US was reviewing the point at which it was willing to recognise a Palestinian state, since recognition that came only after an agreement between Palestine and Israel would provide Israel with a veto.

He said just because recognition of Palestine did not happen at the beginning, “it doesn’t mean it has to wait right till the end. One of the things that is beginning to change, which I think is hopeful, is the American posture. Up to now that has been that recognition can only come when Israel and Palestine agree on the creation of a Palestinian state, but if you do that you do, effectively, give Israel a veto over a Palestinian state. That’s the opposite of creating the sort of unstoppable momentum towards a two-state solution that we all want to see”.

“It is an understandable reaction to such intense suffering, and we share the view that this conflict cannot drag on and on. That is why we supported the recent humanitarian pauses.” It came after it emerged that three Israeli hostages killed by the Israel Defence Forces in Gaza were bare chested and carrying a white flag when they were shot, according to an initial military investigation.

Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, told a press conference late Saturday that they were as “committed as ever” to war. He said they were determined to fight to the end and Gaza “will be demilitarised and under Israeli security control following the defeat of Hamas”.

The killing of the three hostages – who were kidnapped by Hamas on 7 October during its assault on southern Israel – has triggered widespread anger and incredulity in Israel amid a mounting sense of anxiety over the safety of the remaining hostages in Gaza.

Cameron and Baerbock write in an article, published in The Sunday Times and Welt am Sonntag in Germany, “Israel will not win this war if their operations destroy the prospect of peaceful coexistence with Palestinians. They have a right to eliminate the threat posed by Hamas. But too many civilians have been killed.”

Following Biden’s comments last week that Israel was losing international support because of its “indiscriminate bombing”, US officials have told Israel that its window for conducting major combat operations in Gaza is fast closing.

King Charles’s comment that the “time has come” to acknowledge the enduring impact of slavery has been welcomed by the prime minister of Barbados as she spoke in London about the need for reparations.

Mia Mottley said Barbados was owed $4.9tn (£3.9tn) by slave-owning nations, noting that conversations over how this debt should be repaid would “be difficult and will take time”, she said on Wednesday evening.

“We’re not expecting that the reparatory damages will be paid in a year, or two, or five because the extraction of wealth and the damages took place over centuries. But we are demanding that we be seen and that we are heard,” she said.

Mottley met David Cameron on Tuesday but would not give details of the foreign secretary’s thoughts on the UK’s slavery-related debt.

“I’m not going to get into the details of our conversation but suffice to say I think the foreign secretary will take his lead from his majesty,” she said.

During a speech at the London School of Economics’ International Inequalities Institute, she repeatedly commended King Charles’s apparent willingness to confront slavery. Her belief in the king’s openness to discussion stems from a speech he gave in June 2022 at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Rwanda.

The king spoke of his “personal sorrow at the suffering of so many”, and how he continues to “deepen [his] understanding of slavery’s enduring impact”. He added: “To forge a common future, that benefits all our citizens, we too must find new ways to acknowledge our past … This is a conversation whose time has come.” The speech made no reference to financial reparations.

Since becoming prime minister in 2018, Mottley has become a powerful voice globally on the legacy of colonialism and has helped transform the call for reparations into a mainstream political issue.

Citing calculations made in a report by the Brattle Group, which factors in the wealth and GDP amassed by countries that enslaved African people, she set out that the UK owes $24tn in reparations to 14 countries affected by transatlantic slavery, Spain owes $17.1tn, France owes $9.2tn and the Netherlands owes $4.86tn.

“These numbers, if taken out of context, can appear to be staggering. But in relation to the total wealth accumulated over a period of time, the numbers are actually minuscule,” said Mottley.

Addressing the historical legacy of slavery would allow the global community to “move on in strength rather than languishing in the shadows of a disgraceful history”, she said.

Mottley said the call for reparations had gained urgency in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement and the murder of George Floyd in 2020.

“For the first time the world recognised that we could no longer ignore the trauma of four centuries of enslavement and barbarism and of denying people their humanity,” she added. “I want to salute the king for having the courage to understand that this is a conversation whose time has come.”

The foreign affairs committee accused the then PM David Cameron of lacking a coherent strategy for the air campaign.

It said the intervention had not been “informed by accurate intelligence”, and that it led to the rise of so-called Islamic State in North Africa.

The UK government said it had been an international decision to intervene.

The action had been called for by the Arab League and authorised by the UN Security Council, the Foreign Office added.

An international coalition led by Britain and France launched a campaign of air and missile strikes against Muammar Gaddafi’s forces in March 2011 after the regime threatened to attack the rebel-held city of Benghazi.

But after Gaddafi was toppled, Libya descended into violence, with rival governments and the formation of hundreds of militias, while so-called Islamic State, also known as Isil and Daesh, has gained a foothold.

The committee’s key conclusions include:

• Through his decision making in the National Security Council, David Cameron was ultimately responsible for the failure to develop a coherent Libya strategy
• The possibility that militant extremist groups would attempt to benefit from the rebellion should not have been the preserve of hindsight

Mr Cameron has defended his handling of the situation, telling MPs in January action was needed because Gaddafi “was bearing down on people in Benghazi and threatening to shoot his own people like rats”.

They trained the terrorists that attacked the Gaddaffi government, then said they were “rebels.” Blumenthal himself admitted to inventing the “Viagra rape crisis” propaganda that Hillary promoted.

Sure, David Cameron can be blamed for being a puppet of the US (and to a lesser extent France and the Jew Sarkozy, who is admitted to have plotted to takeover the country), but the report doesn’t mention that. It just pushes a disgraced politician further under a bus he’s already under for having shilled for Bremain – also for the sake of the US administration.

Former British Prime Minister David Cameron announced Monday that he is stepping down as a member of Parliament, just months after leaving 10 Downing Street.

Cameron, a member of the Conservative Party, stepped down as prime minister in July after the United Kingdom voted in a June referendum to leave the European Union, saying the country needed new leadership. Cameron opposed the so-called “Brexit,” and campaigned for Britain to remain in the E.U.

However, Cameron remained a member of Parliament for his constituency of Witney in Oxfordshire. He told The Daily Telegraph that he informed current Prime Minister Theresa May of his decision Monday afternoon. The resignation is effective immediately.

Cameron said he had thought “long and hard” about his decision over the summer.

“In my view, the circumstances of my resignation as prime minister and the realities of modern politics make it very difficult to continue on the backbenches without the risk of becoming a diversion to the important decisions that lie ahead for my successor in Downing Street and the government,” Cameron said in a statement, according to the Telegraph.

“I fully support Theresa May and have every confidence that Britain will thrive under her strong leadership,” he said.

Cameron had served as leader of the Conservative Party since 2005, and as prime minister since 2010. He has held the parliamentary seat in Witney since 2001, which is considered a safe seat for the Conservative Party.
