After all of these endless weeks, Parler is now officially back online.

This is an achievement on par with a retarded boy learning to brush his own teeth. It was just shocking it took these people this long to get online.

New York Post:

Parler came back online Monday, more than a month after Amazon forced the controversial social network into a lengthy hiatus.

The Twitter-like platform also named conservative activist Mark Meckler as its interim CEO after its board of directors fired co-founder John Matze, who led the company through most of its unplanned pause.

Parler went dark in early January after Amazon Web Services booted the site from its servers over its failure to police its users’ violent posts in the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

The Nevada-based startup said in a press release that it is running on “sustainable, independent technology and not reliant on so-called ‘Big Tech’ for its operations.”

The company did not say who replaced Amazon as its web host.

“Parler is being run by an experienced team and is here to stay,” Meckler said in a statement. “We will thrive as the premier social media platform dedicated to free speech, privacy and civil dialogue.”

Parler said the site will only be open to existing users this week before new users are able to sign up next week.

…

Matze has said that Parler’s board — led by Republican donor Rebekah Mercer — fired him amid internal disagreements over how the app should approach content moderation.

Parler said Monday that its executive committee was searching for a permanent CEO while Meckler — who co-founded the Tea Party Patriots before splitting from the group in 2012 — led the company in the meantime.

Amy Peikoff, a lawyer, philosopher and former talk show host, would remain in her role as chief policy officer, Parler added.

Peikoff – sounds like someone who should be in charge, and no problem will happen with that.

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m being sarcastic. That sounds to me like a Jewish name. But maybe it isn’t.

Right now, if you don’t already have an account, you can’t get one. But they’re saying next week new people will be allowed on.

Just so you understand, Parler requires a phone number for verification. If I were you, I would not use my real phone number. Even if they have the best of intentions, these lists have a habit of getting leaked.. So, use a burner phone, or try a Google free phone number. And obviously, don’t give them your real name, unless you’re already out there and you don’t care (that’s up to you).

It’s kind of exciting that they’re back online, and I do wish them the best. Though eventually, they will start pulling some of the stuff they pulled with me (shutting down domain, DNS, CDN, etc.). The fact that the couldn’t even get servers online indicates that they’re going to have a serious problem dealing with those sorts of problems.

But we shall see.

If they’ll let me make an account, I probably will do so, now that it’s the place to be. About a year ago, I tried to make an account, and gave up because it just seemed impossible to register. But I will give it another go.

If it works out, I’ll let you all know.

If I do get online, I’m gonna keep it PG-13, and I would advise all of you to do the same. There’s no reason to bring heat down on these people, when, as far as we can tell, they’re trying to do the right thing.

Dan Bongino Says Parler Might be Back Online on Monday https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/02/05/dan-bongino-says-parler-might-be-back-online-on-monday/ Fri, 05 Feb 2021 11:52:08 +0000

As we reported earlier this week, Parler fired its CEO for failing to get the site back online, after it was taken offline in a conspiracy by tech companies a month ago.

Now, one of the big investors in Parler, Dan Bongino, is saying he’s going to get it back online on Monday.

Fox News:

Parler, the social media platform that was forced offline by Amazon following the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, could be up and running again early next week, co-owner Dan Bongino told “Hannity” Thursday.

“We’re shooting for Monday,” said Bongino, who is also a Fox News contributor. “Monday looks good. Fingers crossed.”

Bongino joined host Sean Hannity one day after Fox News obtained a memo to employees from ex-CEO John Matze explaining why he was terminated by the company’s board of directors last week.

Matze alleged that he had been met with “constant resistance” to his original vision for Parler following Amazon Web Services’ decision to shut the platform down for failure to moderate “egregious content” related to the Capitol riot.

“For example, I advocated for more product stability and what I believe is a more effective approach to content moderation,” Matze wrote.

Bongino disputed Matze’s claims in a Facebook video published earlier Wednesday.

“I have no personal gripe against John, the CEO, at all, I want to be crystal clear,” he said, “but John decided to make this public, not us. We were handling it like gentlemen.

“We were the ones, in fact, fighting to get Parler back up. There was some really bad decisions made from people on the inside, and listen, this isn’t us airing dirty laundry. This is protecting a company that is absolutely committed to free speech, that I put the last year of my life into. Do you actually believe that someone else was on the side of free speech?”

“”The relationship with Parler and the CEO did not work out because the CEO’s vision was not ours,” Bongino added later in the video. “Everybody clear on that? Our vision was crystal clear. We needed to get up and fight back, some terrible decisions were made in the past, that led us to getting put down by Amazon and others.”

So apparently, what is being said here, is that fired CEO Matze wanted more censorship, whereas Bongino wanted no censorship – that is to say, wanted it to follow the rules that all tech companies fired before 2015, when MILO was banned from Twitter for making fun of a fat black woman.

That’s sort of a “yeah, okay, whatever” type thing, and I’m sure the level of censorship could have been worked out by the board and Matze could have just been told to follow it.

Matze’s real failure as CEO was allowing this to be on AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the first place, and then taking a month (and counting) to get it back online. There is just no excuse for this. You almost wonder if Matze was purposefully sabotaging the efforts.

The only people who banned them was their server. That is the single easiest problem to fix. If they would have fixed that, they would then have been banned from other services. They didn’t face this more extreme censorship, because they never managed to figure out a way around the very simple, first round censorship.

I will say: in the long run, this might have worked out in their favor. This far after the Capitol Storm, it’s going to be more difficult to stir up a hate mob to get them banned from from the other backbone services. Right now, they are relying primarily on a single free speech company for their backbone services, one which has not been totally kind to me, but which has, in general, allowed speech.

We will see what happens.

I’m rooting for Parler, and I might even go ahead and make an account if they ever get rolling again.

Dan Bongino Gets It: I Feel Like My Own Statements From 2017 are Being Read Back to Me https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/01/12/dan-bongino-gets-it-i-feel-like-my-own-statements-from-2017-are-being-read-back-to-me/ Tue, 12 Jan 2021 15:45:30 +0000

Dan Bongino is a Trump-supporter and a partial owner of Parler. Parler was removed from both the Google and Apple app stores following the disco party at the Capitol on Wednesday, and then Amazon shut down their servers. The site is currently offline.

He went on Fox News this week and said everything – basically, down to the single word – that I said when I was banned in 2017. Watching this guy, I felt like he was literally reading back to me everything I said after being fully banned from the internet following a much less fashionable disco party held in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He said the thing I said: they’re coming for everyone.

Well, Bongino – maybe you should have been out there defending me, huh?

The ONLY person that was in the mainstream was Tucker Carlson. All of the rest of these people accepted the idea that banning me was unique, and that it wouldn’t affect them.

Well, this is a slippery slope that is like putting a Slip n’ Slide on Mount Everest.

In three years time, we went from “just this one guy, he’s pure evil, he made a joke about a dead fat woman and he loves Hitler” to “yeah, we went ahead and banned the President of the United States.”

Bongino says what I’ve said regarding the whole argument about these being private companies – while they’re actually:

  1. Monopolies (which is illegal, antitrust laws just aren’t enforced)
  2. Subsidized by the US government

Deregulation libertarian gibberish is retarded anyway, but even if you believe it, it’s not being followed when these companies are directly in league with the government.

Furthermore, he says the most important thing of all: it’s not the speech that’s causing the violence! It’s these people that are causing the violence! The same people who are calling for speech to be shut down are causing violence!

These people literally told us that Black Lives Matter and Antifa violence over the summer was “speech,” at the same time they say speech is violence.

This is an undermining of the entire core concept of the United States. Free speech is the First Amendment because it was considered the most important.

They told us “private companies decide, make your own Twitter” and Bongino literally made his own Twitter – and now they’re saying what? Now there is not so much of this “make your own” talk, as they would have to be telling us to lay our own cables and make our own internet from scratch.

So they’ve pivoted into just openly anti-speech arguments as their main arguments. It was “private company” with the “speech is dangerous” as a backup, and now that is reversed. Now they are just saying openly that right-wing people can’t speak at all, because when they do, podiums get stolen.

Bongino also mentioned that they are already coming for Fox News – CNN’s homosexual Iranian Oliver Darcy, who he mentions by name, is calling for cable companies to drop Fox News.

How are they going to get away with silencing 7o million Americans?

Oh gee, I don’t know – probably the same way they got away with everything else!

Strap in!

And remember: save our Tor Address.

http://dstormer6em3i4km.onion/

Download Tor Browser and just start using it now to view the site.

You can also download Brave Browser and open a “New Private Window with Tor.”

We’re still going to be here, whatever happens. We have a pretty good setup on the clearweb, but who knows – it’s likely that a blacklist is going to be put out, calling for internet providers to block certain websites.

So get ready to use that Tor site, buddy.

In the event of total chaos, that Tor site will also probably become a hub, where I’ll have updates on how to find people I like as well, such as Nick Fuentes and Ethan Ralph.

I also want to note that everyone is promoting Telegram. Nick and Ralph and everyone else is on that, they don’t really ban people. But they did ban ISIS, which probably means that they will ban the right wing. (Because in case it hasn’t sunk in yet, let me just tell you: that is what is happening right now. The right-wing is now being put on the level of ISIS, because someone stole a podium.)

Telegraph also hasn’t been threatened with an app store ban yet. In fact, they haven’t really gotten any heat. I don’t expect Telegram to hold really at all, but I should mention that people are promoting that, and all our friends are still on there.

Note that after the Dlive bans, Nick is attempting to his own platform up. However, opening night was supposed to be Monday, and he couldn’t make it happen.

Ralph is for whatever reason still on Dlive, but basically everyone else is banned. That platform is pretty much dead. This was really bad decision-making on their part. Their payment processor was threatening them, but what good is a payment processor if you have no one to make any payments?

They should have let the payment processor ditch them and switched to crypto. The company is owned by major crypto investors, and crypto is going to be big, big business with these crackdowns and everyone’s bank accounts being closed.

Dlive really, really screwed up.

But everyone is panicking.

The entire internet has been lit on fire.

This is the real shuttening that I’ve been warning about since 2017. They are just switching the whole thing off.
