An RAF squadron has ditched its historic nickname after a formal complaint was made saying it is offensive to Muslims. Located at RAF Waddington, 14 Squadron was formed in 1915 and gained its nickname ‘Crusaders’ after its airmen flew sorties over Gaza and Palestine during the First World War.

However, crews have now been told to strip out any references to the word around their hangar after a crew member filed a formal complaint, reports the Express. The Crusades describe the religious conflict between Christians and Muslims during the medieval era over two centuries, starting in 1095.

The first 30 years of 14 Squadron’s history were closely connected to the Middle East, with pilots more recently involved in the first Gulf War in 1991 and Kosovo in 1999. It is one of the RAF’s most senior and longest-serving squadrons. The change was triggered by one complaint, reports the Mail on Sunday.

One insider said: “If they’d have asked members of the squadron, rather than dictating this change, almost everyone would have been in favour of retaining ‘Crusaders’ because it is so much part of our history. There was never any prejudice or malice in the name.

“Every squadron, every regiment has a past. But if that past doesn’t suit current thinking it will be erased.”

An Israeli scuba diver has salvaged an ancient sword off the country’s Mediterranean coast that experts say dates back to the Crusaders.

Israel’s Antiquities Authority said Monday the man was on a weekend dive in northern Israel when he spotted a trove of ancient artifacts that included anchors, pottery and a meter-long (yard-long) sword.

The diver was about 150 meters (170 yards) off the coast in five-meter-deep (5.5-yard-deep) water when he made the discovery.

Experts say the area provided shelter for ancient ships and is home to many archaeological treasures, some dating back 4,000 years. But such discoveries can be elusive because of the constantly shifting sands.

Fearing his discovery might be buried, the diver took the sword ashore and delivered it to government experts, the authority said. The weapon is estimated to be 900 years old.

The secrets of the Knights Templar have been unearthed by archaeologists in Israel.

A set of ‘lost’ tunnels leading to a treasure tower were discovered, which the legendary warrior monks would have used to transport their gold around 800 years ago.

Remnants of the soldiers’ extravagant headquarters was also uncovered in the ancient city of Acre, on the coast of Israel.

Dr Albert Lin, an American archaeologist, led the search during a National Geographic Documentary.

According to The Sun Dr Lin said: ‘I’m in Israel in search of the Knights Templar. These warrior monks are the stuff of legend, and so is their gold.

‘During the Crusades the Knights Templar battle for God, gold and glory. Somewhere in the modern city of Acre lies their command centre, and possibly their treasure.

‘It’s the stuff of childhood dreams. I’m here to find them.’

The Knights Templar was a chivalrous religious order, a group of warrior monks, formed to protect Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land from marauding Saracens.

They became established in England in the 12th century, to raise money for the Crusades, and officially disbanded a couple of hundred years later.

Using LiDAR technology Dr Lin and the National Geographic team scanned an area in the port of Acre, where they found a fortress of The Knights Templar used in the Third Crusade – where a car park now stands.

Much mystery surrounds the Knights Templar’s demise and what became of their treasure when the group disbanded.

Dr Lin believes the fortress or ‘treasure tower’ could have been the last location of the Templar’s gold.

He said: ‘The Templar’s hidden tunnels snaked beneath the streets,’ Dr Lin said.

‘They secretly transported gold to the Acre fortress’ crowning glory, its treasure tower.’

Letting the Moslems take Jerusalem was insane enough.

But allowing the Jews to occupy our Holy Land – the actual killers of Christ?

I speculated earlier today that the attacks in Sri Lanka were likely at least in part a revenge attack for the Brenton Tarrant mosque party in Christchurch.

Sri Lankan authorities are now stating this.

A Sri Lankan minister says an initial investigation shows the deadly Easter Sunday attacks were carried out in retaliation for last month’s Christchurch mosque shootings.

Police announced they had arrested 40 people in connection with the coordinated bomb blasts, while the death toll from the attacks had risen to 321, with more than 500 injured.

Two domestic Islamist organisations, including National Thawheed Jama’ut, are said to be responsible for carrying out the suicide bombings at churches and hotels.

“The initial investigation has revealed that this was in retaliation for the New Zealand mosque attack,” Junior Minister for Defence Ruwan Wijewardene told Sri Lanka’s Parliament.

“It was done by National Thawheed Jama’ut along with JMI,” he said, referring to another local group, Jammiyathul Millathu Ibrahim.

This is breaking at time of writing and that is all they’ve said.

It is going to take the American media a minute to figure out how to spin this, and to try to explain how we are not now right in the middle of a full-on war between Moslems and Easter Worshippers.

Their obvious goto narrative would be to blame Tarrant for the slaughter in Sri Lanka, but that would come across as so completely insane that I think that even the Jew media might have the sense to avoid that.

As of right now, they’re attempting to avoid discussion of the fact that this was Moslems who did it – and also avoid the fact that the targets were Christians.

Of course, it goes without saying that Brenton Tarrant bears no responsibility for the sickening acts of Easter morning in Sri Lanka. Brenton made it very clear that his own attack was in revenge for the killing of Ebba Åkerlund.

She deserved that justice.

And Moslems doing revenge attacks for a revenge attack is just the nature of war.

But never forget that they drew first blood and whatever happens from here, all blood is on their hands.

It is going to be increasingly impossible for the Jewish shills to claim that this current situation qualifies as anything other than a war.

Moslems are going to do more of these attacks. And inevitably, so are white people.

The idea of slaughtering Christians in a church on Easter Sunday is so offensive to me, that I’m not even considering the fact that the victims were mostly nonwhite.

Plus, a lot of them were white.

Moslems view Christianity as the white religion, and view nonwhite followers as proxies for whites.

Whoever planned this chose Sri Lanka specifically because it is a remote area. They are sending the message that Christians are not safe anywhere and that they are going to kill us all.

I said earlier that it was probably funded by some Gulf state. However, there is also a chance it was funded by Erdogan. He was particularly upset about the Tarrant event, and pledged to use terrorism to take revenge on Christians.

Thankfully, it is Sri Lankans (probably in cooperation with other Asian nations) doing the investigation, and not white people, so we might actually get to the bottom of it. Unlike white people, Asians have no interest in protecting the mass-murdering terrorist machine that is Islam.

This can only get worse and it can get a whole lot worse.

Slaughtering people in churches on Easter Sunday is end times-tier escalation.

Paris’ historical Saint-Sulpice church has gone up in flames. Firefighters are extinguishing the blaze, which burst through the doors of the 19th Century building.

Firefighters were sent to deal with the blaze early on Sunday afternoon, Le Parisien reported. According to the newspaper, the wooden doors were on fire, and a stained glass window was damaged. The rest of the damage “seems minor,” the daily paper said.

Dramatic footage shared on social media shows the interior of the church in flames, with smoke billowing up to its arched roof. From outside, video footage shows firefighters hosing down the burning doors.

US President Donald Trump has called Vladimir Putin to express his condolences over the bombing of the St. Petersburg Metro that killed at least 14 people. They agreed that Russia and the US should be fighting terrorism together, the Kremlin said. Trump has extended “his deep condolences to the relatives and loved ones of those killed as result of a barbaric terrorist act,” Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, as cited by RIA Novosti.

“The presidents noted that terrorism is the evil against which it is necessary to fight together,” Peskov added. Putin, in turn, thanked his American counterpart for showing solidarity with the Russian people.

In a statement released following the conversation, the White House said that “both President Trump and President Putin agreed that terrorism must be decisively and quickly defeated.”

It went on to note that Trump pledged the “full support” of Washington to Moscow in “responding to the attack and bringing those responsible to justice.”

As the news on the blast broke, Trump was one of the first world leaders to express his sympathies calling the suspected attack “a terrible thing.”

Asylum seekers who get allocated to certain towns in the Netherlands may get as much as €10,000 to buy furniture for their homes, according to research carried out by the daily Brabants Dagblad (BD).Talking to the local authorities, Brabants Dagblad found the sum of money varies in different municipalities.

While Oisterwijk, South Netherlands offers as much as €10,602 for a family with two children, in other cities, such as Bernheze, Schijndel Veghel and Sint-Michielsgestel the same family may receive around €3,500. Boekel offers the smallest amount of €2,200.
