Never-before-released internal emails subpoenaed by @JudiciaryGOP reveal that the Biden White House pressured Amazon to censor books that expressed views the White House did not approve of.

“Is the [Biden] Admin asking us to remove books”? pic.twitter.com/ZsAN9BZAcX

— Rep. Jim Jordan (@Jim_Jordan) February 5, 2024

Who could possibly be surprised by this, after we saw that the Biden Administration was censoring Twitter?

This is totally illegal, and blatant grounds for impeachment and imprisonment of the president.

But nothing happens.

New York Post:

The Biden administration pressured Amazon to censor books related to COVID-19 vaccines in early 2021 citing concerns that the material contained “propaganda” and “misinformation,” internal company emails released by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) appear to show.

The documents were obtained by the House Judiciary Committee and the Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government via subpoena, Jordan said in a X thread Monday, which he dubbed, “THE AMAZON FILES.”

“Who can we talk to about the high levels of propaganda and misinformation and disinformation of [sic] Amazon?” Andrew Slavitt, a former White House senior advisor for COVID-19 response, wrote to the online retailer in a March 2, 2021, email, released by Jordan.

“If you search for ‘vaccines’ under books, I see what comes up,” Slavitt wrote in a follow up message that same day. “I haven’t looked beyond that but if that’s what’s on the surface, it’s concerning.”

Along with Anthony Fauci and Zeke Emanuel, Slavitt was a key villain of the coronavirus hoax.

He’s Jewish, by the way. I don’t know if anyone was wondering about that, but he’s Jewish.

Amazon officials initially balked at performing “a manual intervention” to remove certain book titles from appearing, arguing that it would be “too visible” and lead to further scrutiny.

“We will not be doing a manual intervention today,” an email between Amazon executives reads. “The team/PR feels very strongly that it is too visible, and will further compound the Harry/Sally narrative (which is getting the Fox News treatment today apparently), and won’t fix the problem long-term … because of customer behavior associates.”

…

Amazon defended its book-selling practices in another March 2, 2021, internal email, noting that the company’s guidelines “do not specifically address content about vaccines” and that “retailers are different than social media communities.”

A week later, on March 9, 2021, Amazon met with White House officials, according to the emails, and the company’s “top talking points” going in was whether the Biden administration wanted books blacklisted by the website or suppressed in search results.

“Is the Admin asking us to remove books, or are they more concerned about search results/order (or both)?” reads a company email.

In another email discussing an upcoming negative media story on COVID-19 vaccine books being sold by Amazon, an official acknowledges that the company “is feeling pressure from the White House Taskforce on this issue as well.”

The pressure applied by the Biden administration apparently worked, as the company put “anti-vax books” under a “Do Not Promote” order the same day Amazon officials met with the White House.

Anytime the government tells you to do something, there is an implicit threat that the government will do something to you if you don’t do what they tell you to do. It’s never “just a suggestion.” It’s a mafia style tactic.

This is no different from an order. The government can claim it is legally different, but everyone understands the implicit threat, and a court would determine that there was an implicit threat.

However, no prosecutor will attempt to bring these White House censorship cases to criminal court. Instead, when these things are exposed, it basically means nothing. Nothing happens as a result. No one goes to prison and no policy is changed.

We live in a democracy, which means that the government can do whatever they want to you, so long as they are able to ensure that the majority of the Congress goes along with whatever they are doing.

Watch: Fauci Admits Coronavirus Masks Don’t Work But Says Actually They Do https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/09/04/watch-fauci-admits-coronavirus-masks-dont-work-but-says-actually-they-do/ Mon, 04 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0000

Fauci admits that masks don’t work for the public at large but still absurdly claims masks work on an individual basis. More subterfuge. pic.twitter.com/UcjOa8flkr

— Rand Paul (@RandPaul) September 3, 2023

For some reason, CNN went after Lord Fauci.

This is as we are apparently in the run-up to another major virus hoax.

If I were to try to analyze this, I would say they are going to throw Fauci under the bus, say he did everything wrong, and then say “but we’re going to do it right this time,” and then do everything Fauci did.

New York Post:

Social media erupted after Dr. Anthony Fauci was confronted by a CNN host with a study showing face masks made little to no difference in the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Conservative critics pounced on the former White House chief medical adviser after he acknowledged the masking study during the Saturday segment — while continuing to insist that, at an individual level, other research shows face coverings are effective at curtailing the spread of the virus.

“When you’re talking about the effect on the epidemic or the pandemic as a whole, the data are less strong,” Fauci admitted to CNN’s Michael Smerconish.

“But there are other studies, Michael, that show at an individual level, for individuals,” they might be protective, he said.

Fauci also stressed during the interview that at the moment “we’re not talking about forcing anybody to do anything.”

“Fauci admits that masks don’t work for the public at large but still absurdly claims masks work on an individual basis. More subterfuge,” Sen. Ran Paul (R-Ky.), a political nemesis of Fauci, wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

I don’t know that I would use the word “subterfuge,” of that this word is even coherent in that context.

It does sound funny.

But “subterfuge” is a synonym of “deceit.” I guess this is deceit, technically, but what he is doing is saying two things at the same time – “yes, you’re right, they don’t work – but in fact, they do work, actually.”

I would describe this as “doublespeak” or “sewing confusion.”

The mask thing was utterly ridiculous, and was clearly totally psychological. It was a social engineering project, and a way to dehumanize people. It was a sign of submission.

No one ever thought they worked to stop the spread of a supposed virus. What they actually did, in fact, was increasing the likelihood of acquiring a respiratory infection by restricting breathing and causing people to inhale microplastics. Obviously, they wanted as many actually sick people as possible, so the masks helped increase general illness.

But it was mostly psychological.

Get dat money, nigga, get dat money.

New York Post:

Idaho resident Gabriel Rench was awarded a hefty settlement for his 2020 arrest during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rench spoke out about his case Monday and argued his arrest was the result of liberalism and cancel culture.

Rench was arrested in September 2020 along with two other churchgoers for not wearing masks to an outdoor worship service.

The three brought the lawsuit forward the following year, alleging their First and Fourth Amendment rights were violated.

The city of Moscow ultimately agreed to settle for $300,000.

“I’m very grateful that I got a victory. How many people nationwide didn’t get a victory?” Rench asked Monday on “Fox & Friends.”

He explained to host Pete Hegseth that he believes the settlement is the city’s attempt to pay off a “massive PR problem.”

Rench was arrested in the middle of a worship service.

In a video of the incident, officers are seen taking a hymn book out of Rench’s hands before leading him away in handcuffs.

The three were then detained for several hours.

“They violated my First Amendment rights in a small town,” he said. “And I think really what you’re seeing in the city of Moscow is a microcosm of what’s going on nationwide.”

I wish I had some of that mask money.

But during the virus hoax, I was in the other Moscow, and no one gave a shit.

Everything that you would expect to be happening is happening.

It’s called democracy and it’s what’s for dinner. You must eat it.

RT:

The UK Ministry of Defence closely monitored the social media accounts of public figures critical of the government’s Covid-19 policies during the pandemic, a whistleblower told the Daily Mail newspaper on Saturday. The claim counters repeated official denials that the government carried out any such surveillance.

The military’s secretive 77th Brigade compiled dossiers on anyone with a sizable following who questioned the lockdowns, mandates, and predictions of doom that characterized London’s response to the novel coronavirus outbreak, according to the source, who worked for the unit during the pandemic.

There was never any doom, by the way.

In fact, there was never even a new virus. They just rebranded the flu.

This was all about training the population to be slaves.

The unit’s duties included combatting “disinformation” and “harmful narratives… from purported experts,” assisted by raw data scraped from social media by AI and civilian employees. Undesirable narratives were suppressed or removed, while government narratives were promoted.

“I developed the impression the Government was more interested in protecting the success of their policies than uncaring any potential foreign interference,” the whistleblower told the Mail, suggesting London’s single-minded focus on suppressing criticism might have led to them overlooking genuine foreign meddling in the form of pro-lockdown campaigns from China.

While the 77th Brigade’s information specialists officially target only foreign entities with “non-lethal engagement and legitimate non-military levers as means to adapt behaviors of adversaries,” the whistleblower explained they cheated their way into surveilling UK citizens by claiming that “unless a profile explicitly stated their real name and nationality they could be a foreign agent and were fair game.” Forbidden from repeatedly looking at a named UK citizen’s account while on the clock, they merely waited until their shift was done to snoop on people they couldn’t pretend were foreign.

It’s the same thing we saw from the Twitter Files, where the US government was actively censoring people who questioned their lunatic virus hoax.

We only saw one side of it in the Twitter Files, but it is obvious that if the US government had lists of people they wanted censored, that they had compiled dossiers on those people.

Every Western government became a parody of dystopian fiction, and it was totally supported by women.

Police Worldwide Now Using Coronavirus Tracking Tech to Track and Intimidate People https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/12/21/police-worldwide-now-using-coronavirus-tracking-tech-to-track-and-intimidate-people/ Wed, 21 Dec 2022 00:00:00 +0000

It sure is convenient that global governments are using coronavirus spying mechanisms for regular spying!

No one could have predicted this. If someone did predict it, they were a white supremacist fascist, so their opinion means nothing.

AP:

Majd Ramlawi was serving coffee in Jerusalem’s Old City when a chilling text message appeared on his phone.

“You have been spotted as having participated in acts of violence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” it read in Arabic. “We will hold you accountable.”

Ramlawi, then 19, was among hundreds of people who civil rights attorneys estimate got the text last year, at the height of one of the most turbulent recent periods in the Holy Land. Many, including Ramlawi, say they only lived or worked in the neighborhood, and had nothing to do with the unrest. What he didn’t know was that the feared internal security agency, the Shin Bet, was using mass surveillance technology mobilized for coronavirus contact tracing, against Israeli residents and citizens for purposes entirely unrelated to COVID-19.

A worshipper shows a threatening message signed ”Israeli intelligence,” that reads: “Hello! You have been spotted as having participated in acts of violence in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we will hold you accountable.”

In the pandemic’s bewildering early days, millions worldwide believed government officials who said they needed confidential data for new tech tools that could help stop coronavirus’ spread. In return, governments got a firehose of individuals’ private health details, photographs that captured their facial measurements and their home addresses.

Now, from Beijing to Jerusalem to Hyderabad, India, and Perth, Australia, The Associated Press has found that authorities used these technologies and data to halt travel for activists and ordinary people, harass marginalized communities and link people’s health information to other surveillance and law enforcement tools. In some cases, data was shared with spy agencies. The issue has taken on fresh urgency almost three years into the pandemic as China’s ultra-strict zero-COVID policies recently ignited the sharpest public rebuke of the country’s authoritarian leadership since the pro-democracy protests in Tiananmen Square in 1989.

For more than a year, AP journalists interviewed sources and pored over thousands of documents to trace how technologies marketed to “flatten the curve” were put to other uses. Just as the balance between privacy and national security shifted after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, COVID-19 has given officials justification to embed tracking tools in society that have lasted long after lockdowns.

“Any intervention that increases state power to monitor individuals has a long tail and is a ratcheting system,” said John Scott-Railton, a senior researcher at the Toronto-based internet watchdog Citizen Lab. “Once you get it, is very unlikely it will ever go away.”

…

In Jerusalem’s Old City, tourists sipping fresh pomegranate juice, worshippers and locals taking a shortcut home are all monitored by Israeli security forces holding automatic weapons. The labyrinth of cavernous pathways is also lined with CCTV cameras and what authorities have described as “advanced technologies.”

After clashes in May 2021 at the Al-Aqsa Mosque helped trigger an 11-day war with Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip, Israel experienced some of the worst violence in years. Police lobbed stun grenades into the disputed compound known to Jews as the Temple Mount, home to Al-Aqsa, Islam’s third-holiest site, as Palestinian crowds holed up inside hurling stones and firebombs at them.

By that time, Israelis had become accustomed to police showing up outside their homes to say they weren’t observing quarantine and knew that Israel’s Shin Bet security agency was repurposing phone surveillance technology it had previously used to monitor militants inside Palestinian territories. The practice made headlines at the start of the pandemic when the Israeli government said it would be deployed for COVID-19 contact tracing.

A year later, the Shin Bet quietly began using the same technology to send threatening messages to Israel’s Arab citizens and residents whom the agency suspected of participating in violent clashes with police. Some of the recipients, however, simply lived or worked in the area, or were mere passers-by.

Ramlawi’s coffeeshop sits in the ornate Cotton Merchant’s Market outside the mosque compound, an area lined with police and security cameras that likely would have identified the barista had he participated in violence.

Although Ramlawi deleted the message and hasn’t received a similar one since, he said the thought of his phone being used as a monitoring tool still haunts him.

“It’s like the government is in your bag,” said Ramlawi, who worries that surveillance enabled to stop COVID-19 poses a lasting menace for east Jerusalem residents. “When you move, the government is with you with this phone.”

…

‘360 DEGREE SURVEILLANCE’

Technologies designed to combat COVID-19 were redirected by law enforcement and intelligence services in other democracies as governments expanded their digital arsenals amid the pandemic.

In India, facial recognition and artificial intelligence technology exploded after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s right-wing Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party swept into power in 2014, becoming a tool for police to monitor mass gatherings. The country is seeking to build what will be among the world’s largest facial recognition networks.

As the pandemic took hold in early 2020, state and central governments tasked local police with enforcing mask mandates. Fines of up to $25, as much as 12 days’ pay for some laborers and unaffordable for the nearly 230 million people estimated to be living in poverty in India, were introduced in some places.

In the south-central city of Hyderabad, police started taking pictures of people flaunting the mask mandate or simply wearing masks haphazardly.

Police Commissioner C.V. Anand said the city has spent hundreds of millions of dollars in recent years on patrol vehicles, CCTV cameras, facial recognition and geo-tracking applications and several hundred facial recognition cameras, among other technologies powered by algorithms or machine learning. Inside Hyderabad’s Command and Control Center, officers showed an AP reporter how they run CCTV camera footage through facial recognition software that scans images against a database of offenders.

“When (companies) decide to invest in a city, they first look at the law-and-order situation,” Anand said, defending the use of such tools as absolutely necessary. “People here are aware of what the technologies can do, and there is wholesome support for it.”

By May 2020, the police chief of Telangana state tweeted about his department rolling out AI-based software using CCTV to zero-in on people not wearing masks. The tweet included photos of the software overlaying colored rectangles on the maskless faces of unsuspecting locals.

More than a year later, police tweeted images of themselves using hand-held tablets to scan people’s faces using facial recognition software, according to a post from the official Twitter handle of the station house officer in the Amberpet neighborhood.

Police said the tablets, which can take ordinary photographs or link them to a facial recognition database of criminals, were a useful way for officers to catch and fine mask offenders.

“When they see someone not wearing a mask, they go up to them, take a photo on their tablet, take down their details like phone number and name,” said B Guru Naidu, an inspector in Hyderabad’s South Zone.

Officers decide who they deem suspicious, stoking fears among privacy advocates, some Muslims and members of Hyderabad’s lower-caste communities.

“If the patrolling officers suspect any person, they take their fingerprints or scan their face – the app on the tablet will then check these for any past criminal antecedents,” Naidu said.

S Q Masood, a social activist who has led government transparency campaigns in Hyderabad, sees more at stake. Masood and his father-in-law were seemingly stopped at random by police in Shahran market, a predominantly Muslim area, during a COVID-19 surge last year. Masood said officers told him to remove his mask so they could photograph him with a tablet.

“I told them I won’t remove my mask. They then asked me why not, and I told them I will not remove my mask.” He said they photographed him with it in place. Back home, Masood went from bewildered to anxious: Where and how was this photo to be used? Would it be added to the police’s facial recognition database?

Now he’s suing in the Telangana High Court to find out why his photo was taken and to limit the widespread use of facial recognition. His case could set the tone for India’s growing ambition to combine emerging technology with law enforcement in the world’s largest democracy, experts said.

India lacks a data protection law and even existing proposals won’t regulate surveillance technologies if they become law, said Apar Gupta, executive director of the New Delhi-based Internet Freedom Foundation, which is helping to represent Masood.

Police responded to Masood’s lawsuit and denied using facial recognition in his case, saying that his photograph was not scanned against any database and that facial recognition is only used during the investigation of a crime or suspected crime, when it can be run against CCTV footage.

In two separate AP interviews, local police demonstrated both how the TSCOP app carried by police on the street can compare a person’s photograph to a facial recognition database of criminals, and how from the Command and Control Center police can use facial recognition analysis to compare stored mugshots of criminals to video gathered from CCTV cameras.

Masood’s lawyers are working on a response and awaiting a hearing date.

Privacy advocates in India believe that such stepped-up actions under the pandemic could enable what they call 360 degree surveillance, under which things like housing, welfare, health and other kinds of data are all linked together to create a profile.

“Surveillance today is being posed as a technological panacea to large social problems in India, which has brought us very close to China,” Gupta said. “There is no law. There are no safeguards. And this is general purpose deployment of mass surveillance.”

‘THE NEW NORMAL’

What use will ultimately be made of the data collected and tools developed during the height of the pandemic remains an open question. But recent uses in Australia and the United States may offer a glimpse.

During two years of strict border controls, Australia’s conservative former Prime Minister Scott Morrison took the extraordinary step of appointing himself minister of five departments, including the Department of Health. Authorities introduced both national and state-level apps to notify people when they had been in the vicinity of someone who tested positive for the virus.

But the apps were also used in other ways. Australia’s intelligence agencies were caught “incidentally” collecting data from the national COVIDSafe app. News of the breach surfaced in a November 2020 report by the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security, which said there was no evidence that the data was decrypted, accessed or used. The national app was canceled in August by a new administration as a waste of money: it had identified only two positive COVID-19 cases that wouldn’t have been found otherwise.

At the local level, people used apps to tap their phones against a site’s QR code, logging their individual ID so that if a COVID-19 outbreak occurred, they could be contacted. The data sometimes was used for other purposes. Australian law enforcement co-opted the state-level QR check-in data as a sort of electronic dragnet to investigate crimes.

After biker gang boss Nick Martin was shot and killed at a speedway in Perth, police accessed QR code check-in data from the health apps of 2,439 drag racing fans who attended the December 2020 race. It included names, phone numbers and arrival times.

Police accessed the information despite Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan’s promise on Facebook that the COVID-related data would only be accessible to contact-tracing personnel at the Department of Health. The murder was eventually solved using entirely traditional policing tactics, including footprint matching, cellphone tracking and ultimately a confession.

Western Australia police didn’t respond to requests for comment. Queensland and Victoria law enforcement also sought the public’s QR check-in data in connection with investigations. Police in both states did not address AP questions regarding why they sought the data, and lawmakers in Queensland and Victoria have since tightened the rules on police access to QR check-in information.

In the U.S., which relied on a hodge-podge of state and local quarantine orders to ensure compliance with COVID rules, the federal government took the opportunity to build out its surveillance toolkit, including two contracts in 2020 worth $24.9 million to the data mining and surveillance company Palantir Technologies Inc. to support the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ pandemic response. Documents obtained by the immigrant rights group Just Futures Law under the Freedom of Information Act and shared with AP showed that federal officials contemplated how to share data that went far beyond COVID-19.

The possibilities included integrating “identifiable patient data,” such as mental health, substance use and behavioral health information from group homes, shelters, jails, detox facilities and schools. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control does not use any of that individual-level information in the platform CDC now manages, said Kevin Griffis, a department spokesman. Griffis said he could not comment on discussions that occurred under the previous administration.

The protocols appeared to lack information safeguards or usage restrictions, said Paromita Shah, Just Futures Law’s executive director.

“What the pandemic did was blow up an industry of mass collection of biometric and biographical data,” Shah said. “So, few things were off the table.”

Last year, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control purchased detailed cellphone location data revealing people’s daily whereabouts, nationwide. “Mobility insights” data from at least 20 million devices could be used to “project how much worse things would have been without the bans,” such as stay-at-home orders and business closures, according to a July 2021 contract obtained by the nonprofit group Tech Inquiry and shared with AP.

The contract shows data broker Cuebiq provided a “device ID,” which typically ties information to individual cell phones. The CDC also could use the information to examine the effect of closing borders, an emergency measure ordered by the Trump administration and continued by President Joe Biden, despite top scientists’ objections that there was no evidence the action would slow the coronavirus.

CDC spokeswoman Kristen Nordlund said the agency acquired aggregated, anonymous data with extensive privacy protections for public health research, but did not address questions about whether the agency was still using the data. Cuebiq did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

For Scott-Railton, that sets a dangerous precedent.

“What COVID did was accelerate state use of these tools and that data and normalize it, so it fit a narrative about there being a public benefit,” he said. “Now the question is, are we going to be capable of having a reckoning around the use of this data, or is this the new normal?”

Of course it’s the “new normal.”

None of these attacks on freedom are ever rolled back.

We’re still living under the Patriot Act, despite the fact that it’s now effectively illegal to talk about Moslems being terrorists.

They could admit the coronavirus never even existed, and they would never roll back these new spying measures.

The good news is: this can only go so far. Eventually, this system is going to be so monstrous and unnatural that it will have to collapse.

Apparently, the Australian government is concerned the masses are going to rise up and strike back for what was done to them during the fake virus hoax.

There is no other reason to do amnesty.

RT:

The authorities in Australia’s largest state, New South Wales (NSW), have said that they will withdraw or refund tens of thousands of fines issued for violations of restrictions during the pandemic.

The move follows a defeat that the NSW government suffered in a court battle against free advocacy group Redfern Legal Centre on Tuesday.

The group launched a test case in July on behalf of three plaintiffs, arguing their fines of between AUS$1,000 ($673) to AUS$3,000 ($2,020) were invalid because the penalty notices didn’t describe the offense sufficiently.

“It’s not a big ask, if you’re going to fine someone for an offense, to set out what the offense is in the notice,” Katherine Richardson, the lawyer for the plaintiffs argued at the New South Wales Supreme Court, as cited by the Sydney Morning Herald.

The government’s lawyers have now conceded that the tickets really didn’t meet the legal requirements.

Shortly after the hearing, the Commissioner of Fines Administration said that 33,121 fines are going to be withdrawn, as they had been issued with similar wording to those of the plaintiffs’ notices.

This is obviously just manipulation, but it’s notable that the government is effectively admitting that the whole thing was a big hoax.

This is what we told everyone: “just hold on, this can’t last forever.”

Imagine having taken the vax and having calamari in your veins and now realizing you could have just chilled out and waited a year for things to cool down.

You can’t help but laugh that these people are still out shilling this vax after it killed all those people.

They’re admitting it kills people. No one denies that at this point. They’re just telling you you have to take it and die.

True North:

Even as countries around the world have moved on from Covid and have learned to live with the virus, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is threatening Canadians with more restrictions and mandates if 80-90% of eligible Canadians are not “up-to-date” with their Covid vaccines.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Trudeau warned Canadians that “there is a real risk of a serious wave of Covid” as the fall begins and that the best way to avoid government restrictions and mandates is to be “up-to-date” on Covid shots.

“If we are able to hit that 80%, 85%, 90% of Canadians up-to-date in their vaccinations, we’ll have a much better winter with much less need for the kind of restrictions and rules that were so problematic for everyone over the past years,” said Trudeau.

The prime minister touted the recently approved bivalent vaccines, designed to target the specific Omicron variant.

“Everyone who has been a while since their vaccination … should look at the fact that we have new vaccines coming out this month that are tailored against Omicron that will provide better protection and everyone should get out and get vaccinated,” said Trudeau.

Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos echoed the prime minister’s comments last week, comparing vaccinations to recharging “your phone battery.”

You have to recharge the phone battery, goy.

Remember that we told you this was going to be a yearly thing. We told you that.

You are never going to be fully vaccinated.

Parents Say Coronavirus Lockdowns Skyrocketed Depression, Hopelessness and Despair in Kids https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/08/15/parents-say-coronavirus-lockdowns-skyrocketed-depression-hopelessness-and-despair-in-kids/ Mon, 15 Aug 2022 00:00:00 +0000

No one could have predicted this.

Well, Andrew Anglin predicted it, but he hates the color of the skin, so if you believed his prediction you were evil, even though it was correct.

New York Post:

As a new school year starts ramping up, many children nationwide will experience their first day back to school without mask requirements or other COVID-related mandates for the first time in more than two years.

At the start of the new school year in 2021, around 75% of U.S. schools required masking for students or teachers, according to the National Center for Education Statistics. Now, only a handful of schools are requiring masks.

But for many, the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic remains. That is especially true in California, where schools implemented some of the strictest COVID policies in the country. The state was also among the last to reopen its schools.

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), which begins the new school year Monday, nearly reimposed mask mandates and testing over the summer but dropped them amid major pushback.

Multiple parents who spoke with Fox News Digital said they were relieved that mask mandates have been dropped but say the impact of the past 2 ½ years of COVID policies lingers.

“Isolating children, especially in Los Angeles, socially, academically, and emotionally from their peers has had detrimental effects, the likes of which we are only beginning to feel,” Daniella Bloom, whose children attend school in Los Angeles area, told Fox News Digital.

“When you isolate children away from a seven-hour school day, where there are no sports and no social curricular activities, they have no choice but to turn to their electronics,” Bloom said. “And there is only darkness there, as they are already vulnerable and going through puberty and susceptible to a lot of groupthink and conformity.”

Bloom said kids who are introverted and perhaps prone to anxiety have used the masks as a way to hide from the world.

The masks, she said, “have gotten them very comfortable to not being exposed to the world.”

Another parent, Kristina Irvin, said her oldest son, who was in middle school when COVID hit, went from being a straight-A honors student to “getting all Fs.”

“It was two years of lost time,” Irvin said. “He literally wouldn’t care. And the thing that got me was the teachers didn’t care. He would show me on the Zoom videos, the teachers would be slurping up spaghetti … and then another teacher would be changing a newborn diaper – just a kid screaming in the background. So, it wasn’t conducive to learning.”

Irvin said she was more hopeful for the year ahead but added, “The fight is not over.”

Another parent in the Los Angeles area told Fox News Digital she watched her kids go down a “rabbit hole” of social isolation and depression during the pandemic.

“I kept getting so afraid that I’d walk into his room and he wouldn’t be with me anymore. He was so depressed. I remember him going into tears because he was so lonely,” she said.

Another one of her children finished his senior year as COVID hit and began college at Chapman University in Orange County the following school year. But he spiraled into a bout of depression and heavy drug use, not making it through his first semester.

Lance Christensen, who is running for superintendent of public instruction and has five children of his own in public school, said the “hopelessness and despair” set in when children realized what they were losing.

“It wasn’t until kids started having this — these long bouts of depression and despair — where they thought, ‘If I’m not going to go back to school, if I can’t play baseball, if I can’t go to the homecoming dance, or if I can’t be in the school play, finish playing my music to get that scholarship’ — the hopelessness and despair were pretty dramatic,” he said.

Christensen told Fox News Digital he’s seen, within his own network, “dozens and dozens of kids” whose depression and anxiety skyrocketed.

“I personally know kids who have killed themselves. I know other kids who have attempted suicide in very dramatic ways,” he said.

…

The decline in children’s well-being and mental health is reflected in recent studies. According to a recent survey from the Public Policy Institute of California, more than four in 10 parents say their children have fallen behind academically.

Two weeks to flatten your soul, goyim.

Fauci Says 2020 Restrictions Should Have Been Harsher Because Healthy People Are a Threat https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/07/26/fauci-says-2020-restrictions-should-have-been-harsher-because-healthy-people-are-a-threat/ Tue, 26 Jul 2022 00:00:00 +0000

NEW – Fauci says "much, much more stringent restrictions" should have been imposed in response to asymptomatic COVID transmission.pic.twitter.com/llxcUWErzi

The latest preview for Coronavirus Hoax Season 2 just dropped.

Despite rumors to the contrary, it looks like Anthony Fauci is keeping his starring role.

New York Post:

Dr. Anthony Fauci argued on The Hill’s “Rising” show that there should have been “more stringent restrictions” for asymptomatic people in 2020.

On Monday, Fauci appeared on the program to discuss the approach to the BA.5 subvariant of the coronavirus. The conversation quickly turned to the past approaches to COVID-19 and whether he would have acted differently.

“If I knew in 2020, what I know now, we would do a lot differently because back then we were not sure of a number of things,” Fauci said.

Among other things, he also said that there should have been further restrictions and mask requirements to counter the coronavirus in 2020.

“We know now, two and a half years later, that anywhere from 50 to 60 percent of the transmission occur from someone without symptoms, either someone who never will get symptoms or someone who is in the pre-symptomatic stage,” Fauci said.

“Had we known that then, the insidious nature of spread in the community would have been much more of an alarm and there would have been much, much more stringent restrictions in the sense of very, very heavy, encouraging people to wear masks, physical distancing or what have you,” he continued.

He said on the same show: “I didn’t recommend locking anything down.”

What does that even mean? This guy is like a wizard or a Sith Lord. But like, a fake one. Everyone remembers he recommended locking everything down, and he is saying right now that he did that. He’s trying to do some word game where it was actually the CDC that did it, so it’s not his fault, but also it was good, and it should have been even more extreme, actually.

Also: everyone knows that Fauci said asymptomatic transmission is impossible. Elvis didn’t include that clip. I guess we all remember it.

Should I try to find the clip?

Hold on, I’m gonna try to find the clip.

Here it is. It was January of 2020. He said “in all of history of respiratory born viruses…”

Everything is pointing at season 2.

I’ve watched the media long enough to know this. This is what they do. They start the hype machine. This is the hype machine, ramping up.

Look:

Anyway, public opinion means nothing. So there’s nothing we can do. There is still a standing army of hoax-lovers ready to ramp back up. All those women who want to tell people what to do, to play hall monitor. They are ready for deployment.

Yes, I was wrong about 21-22. But I couldn’t have predicted the way they tried to manage the war with Russia. I was right about the fact that there was simply no way they were going to just stop hoaxing you with viruses when a virus hoax gives them ultimate power to make anyone do anything.

Also, in order to believe that covid could end, you would have to believe it was real in the first place, which means you’re a retard.

Australian Authorities Urge People to Work From Home and Take Boosters Because Coronavirus is Back https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/07/20/australian-authorities-urge-people-to-work-from-home-and-take-boosters-because-coronavirus-is-back/ Wed, 20 Jul 2022 00:00:00 +0000

All those people who said “Anglin, you’re crazy, the coronavirus is over, there’s no way they can bring it back after they lose the war in the Ukraine.”

Are you going to apologize, or what?

We have records. I have the screenshots, you bastards. How about looking at the record of the Stormer, and doing a little bit of trusting?

Reuters:

Australians admitted to hospitals from COVID-19 neared record levels on Wednesday as authorities urged businesses to let staff work from home and recommended people wear masks indoors and get booster shots urgently amid a major coronavirus outbreak.

Australia is in the grip of a third Omicron wave driven by the highly transmissible new subvariants, BA.4 and BA.5, with more than 300,000 cases recorded over the past seven days. Authorities say the actual numbers could be double that total, and Wednesday’s 53,850 new cases was the highest daily tally in two months.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is resisting pressure to reinstate tough curbs to halt the spread of the virus, including making masks mandatory indoors, though he encouraged people to wear it.

“The truth is that if you have mandates, you’ve got to enforce them,” Albanese told reporters on Wednesday. “Whilst there are mandates on public transport … not everyone is wearing a mask.”

Albanese said businesses and employees must decide together on any work-from-home arrangement, as unions called for employers to do more for their staff.

Employers must go beyond the government’s pandemic leave payments and provide paid leave at full pay for workers who need to isolate, and offer free rapid antigen tests, Australian Council of Trade Unions President Michele O’Neil said.

“No worker should have to decide between putting food on the table or isolating with COVID,” O’Neil said.

Last week, Australia reinstated support payments for casual workers who have to quarantine.

Australia’s Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly predicted the number of people ending up in hospital will soon hit a record high, and urged businesses to let more staff work from home.

Australia could see “millions” of new cases over the coming weeks, authorities have warned.

Authorities have also warned of a lag in people taking their booster shots.

So far, 95% of people above 16 have had two doses, helping keep Australia’s total COVID-19 cases just under 9 million and deaths at 10,884, far lower than many countries. But only about 71% have received three or more doses.

Of course coronavirus is back.

Of course it is.

What was the other option?

Winning the war in the Ukraine or even dragging it out indefinitely was never really an option, and even if it was an option, it was not enough to keep people excited. Global warming is a driver of policy, but it doesn’t get people into an excited state.

Collapsing the economy on purpose at a rapid pace creates the wrong kind of excitement.

There was never any option but to go back to coronavirus.

Now, it is back, and it’s coming back harder, and you all deserve it for questioning me.
