A pregnant Illinois woman was decapitated at her home, where her head was discovered in a dumpster — and her ex-boyfriend has been charged in the brutal murder, authorities said.

Deundrea Holloway, 22, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the death of Liese Dodd, also 22, whose remains were found Thursday in her Alton home, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

He also was hit with two counts of intentional homicide of an unborn child, dismembering a human body, concealment of a homicide and possessing a stolen vehicle.

Side issue here, but – how is it possible that “intentional homicide of an unborn child” is still a crime in America? I remember this with the whole Lacy Peterson trial. How can it be illegal to kill an unborn child in a country with abortion on demand?

The explanation is apparently that only the mother is allowed to kill her child, but then why isn’t the mother allowed to kill it after it is born? It’s either a person or it isn’t.

The head of the nearly eight-months-pregnant woman was found in the dumpster outside her apartment, according to the newspaper.

“What was observed, what was learned, what was found, is absolutely terrible,” Alton Police Chief Marcos Pulido said, the Post-Dispatch reported. “She was decapitated by a freaking savage monster.”

A Florida man was arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse after he unknowingly supplied police with home surveillance footage that showed him dragging the lifeless body of a 38-year-old woman through his house.

William Redden, 51, allegedly wrapped the corpse of Stephanie Shenefield in a sheet before dragging her lifeless body to his car and driving to a ditch, where he tossed her remains, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

It was not clear how the woman died.

Shenefield, a mother of two, took an Uber to the home of Redden, an alleged drug dealer, at 1:20 a.m. on Friday, June 3, investigators said.

At some point in the night, Shenefield died inside the house and Redden allegedly disposed of her body instead of calling for help, Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells said.

“William Redden does nothing about it,” Sheriff Wells said at a press conference aired on WTSP Tampa Bay 10. “He doesn’t call 911, he doesn’t call authorities, he doesn’t call anyone.”

Redden, an eight-time convicted felon, told detectives that Shenefield stayed at his house that night — but left the next morning.

The detectives then asked Redden if they could take the DVRs from surveillance cameras on the inside and exterior of the house. He complied and said the cameras don’t record inside his house and are only a “live monitoring” system, according to the sheriff’s office.

“He tells them they do not record inside the residence. He was wrong,” Wells said. “Thankfully he’s ignorant and didn’t know that. Because it worked for us.”

To investigators’ surprise, the video unveiled the final moments of Shenefield’s life and provided hints as to how her body ended up in a ditch in Palmetto.

The detectives verified through the video footage that Shenefield was at Redden’s home in Palmetto and died there during the night. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of death.

Redden then can be seen “dragging her lifeless body throughout the house” and loading it into a car before driving off, Wells said.

Two people walking their dog found Shenefield’s “badly decomposed” body in a 12-foot-deep drainage ditch near railroad tracks Thursday, June 9, according to the sheriff’s office.

Two adults and two children were found dead in a Texas home in an apparent murder-suicide, police said.

The four victims were discovered Thursday afternoon by Granbury cops responding to a welfare check, department officials said in a statement Friday.

The bodies of Marcus Buchanan, 36, wife Rita Buchanan, 34, and two girls ages 3 and 13 were found dead from gunshot wounds inside the residence.

“There was evidence at the scene that was consistent with a murder-suicide, but the final determination has yet to be concluded as this is still an active investigation,” Granbury police said. “At this time, there is no evidence of anyone else being involved in this incident.”

The suspected shooter had yet to be identified Monday. The dead couple were the parents of the 3-year-old girl, while the 13-year-old victim was Rita Buchanan’s daughter, Granbury police confirmed to The Post.

Shocked neighbors who said they saw no earlier signs of distress at the home told WFAA they often saw Marcus and his wife spending time together while sitting on a front porch.

An Alabama woman was found dead inside her apartment and her boyfriend of less than a year has been charged with murder, authorities said.

Madison Shea Pilkington, 25, was discovered dead by a relative inside her Hoover apartment early Saturday after she didn’t show up to work at a sports bar the previous day, police told AL.com.

She died from blunt force trauma, authorities said.

Pilkington’s boyfriend, Cortez Lenarde Warren, 32, was arrested during a police pursuit later Saturday afternoon.

Cops had previously put out an alert identifying him as a suspect.

He’s facing charges of murder, tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of marijuana, the outlet reported Monday.

Warren allegedly tried to clean up the crime scene, but additional details were not immediately provided. He had been dating Pilkington for less than a year, AL.com reported.

“She was beautiful both inside and out,” said Pilkington’s aunt, Dana Armstrong. “She was loved by everyone who knew her … It’s been such a shock.”

Warren, whose Facebook profile identifies him as a manager at a Hooters restaurant and a Walmart, had a prior arrest for domestic abuse involving a different woman, AL.com reported.

A 16-year-old Indiana high school football player was charged with murder and feticide Monday after he admitted he brutally killed a 17-year-old pregnant cheerleader because she hid her pregnancy from him too long to get an abortion.

Aaron Trejo said he stabbed Breana Rouhselang in her heart with a knife, Detective Gery Mullins said in charging documents obtained by Fox News. The cheerleader’s body turned up in a trash bin behind a restaurant in Mishawaka, near South Bend and about 80 miles east of Chicago, over the weekend.

Mullins said Trejo “explained that Breana waited too long to tell Aaron about the pregnancy to get an abortion. I asked Aaron what he did about that, and he replied, ‘I took action… I took her life.'”

Trejo said he used a knife because he thought it would kill her quickly, then stuffed her into a black plastic bag, tossed it in the trash and threw her phone and the weapon into the river as far as he could, according to Mullins.

He will be tried as an adult, Fox 59 added. Feticide, or the destruction of a fetus, is also a felony in Indiana.

“An autopsy confirmed that Breana Rouhselang died from multiple stab wounds, that her scarf had been tied so tightly that strangulation was occurring before Breana died, and that she was pregnant,” Mullins said.

Breana Rouhselang, a Mishawaka High School student, was last seen alive at her home at around midnight Saturday. Her family called police about 4:30 a.m. Sunday after they “got the feeling that something wasn’t right,” said Lt. Alex Arendt of the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit.

Arendt says Rouhselang knew Trejo from the football team, but the extent of their relationship is under investigation.

Rouhselang had been a softball coach, a cheerleader and football team manager at the school, the girl’s stepmother, Nicole Rouhselang, told reporters Sunday. She added her stepdaughter had been about six months pregnant.

“I’ve known her since she was 6,” she said. “I just don’t understand it.”

Trejo was held without bond and is set to face a judge Tuesday.

An armed gang abducted an Italian volunteer from a village in south-east Kenya, shooting and wounding five residents in the raid, police said on Wednesday.

“The attackers fired indiscriminately at residents” before kidnapping the 23-year-old, who worked as a volunteer at an orphanage, during the attack after dark on Tuesday evening at Chakama, a small village in the coastal Kilifi county, police said in a statement.
