It’s good to see this movie fail miserably.

Even if people won’t stand against the sickness of this system, at least they won’t make a point to stand with it.

CNN:

Harrison Ford brought the legendary titular character Indiana Jones back to the big screen this weekend with “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” but its opening box office showing was lower than advance estimates.

The movie grossed $60 million in the United States and $70 million internationally, bringing the fifth and final installment of the storied franchise’s global box office to $130 million on its 3-day opening.

“Dial of Destiny” reportedly cost nearly $300 million to make, which makes the open weekend box office numbers underwhelming and a tall hurdle for the movie to clear in order to profit.

Remember when Indiana Jones was racist? Those were good times.

The movie did open at number one despite mediocre reviews for Indy’s final chapter, and is projected to earn $82 million in its 5-day opening through the July 4 holiday weekend.

…

The opening is one of several disappointing showings for big-budget movies at the box office this summer, with Warner Bros.’ “The Flash” and Pixar’s animated “Elemental” both falling well short of expectations. (Warner Bros., like CNN, is a unit of Warner Bros. Discovery.)

Mission Impossible, which is one of the last apolitical series left, is likely to crush this “Old Man Jones” tripe.

Harrison Ford looks depressed

Harrison Ford is actually half-Jewish. He’s never come across particularly Jewish, and he doesn’t look Jewish. I can believe he just did this for money and doesn’t feel particularly good about it.

It’s unclear how Disney is expecting to continue to survive while releasing this sort of tripe.

World’s Biggest Cinema Chain to Start Accepting Bitcoin by the End of the Year https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/08/12/worlds-biggest-cinema-chain-to-start-accepting-bitcoin-by-the-end-of-the-year/ Thu, 12 Aug 2021 00:00:00 +0000

Nothing’s gonna save the cinema industry.

It was already dying before the corona hoax, and that just accelerated everything.

Still, every time a big corporation like this starts accepting Bitcoin, it’s a step in the right direction for everyone.

BBC:

AMC, the US cinema chain that owns Odeon, says it will allow customers to pay for movie tickets and concessions in Bitcoin by the end of the year.

Boss Adam Aron said it has been exploring the technology and “how else AMC can participate in this new burgeoning cryptocurrency universe”.

The firm, which is the largest US cinema chain, has not said whether it will apply to its cinemas in Europe.

Bitcoin has seen wild price swings in recent weeks.

The highly-speculative cryptocurrency was trading at about $45,000 (£32,500) on Tuesday, after falling below $30,000 last month.

However, an increasing number of businesses have begun to accept it as payment as it goes mainstream, including US mobile operator AT&T, Microsoft and Wikipedia.

“I’ve had to learn more in the past six months about blockchain and cryptocurrency than I learned about it in the entire decade before that,” Mr Aron, 66, told journalists on a conference call.

“This increased knowledge has given me the confidence to tell you all today that AMC is hereby formally announcing… that by year’s end we will have the information technology systems in place to accept Bitcoin.”

‘Meme stock’Commentators suggest AMC is trying to appeal to young amateur traders that have piled into its own shares over the last six months, turning it into a so-called “meme stock”.

Banding together on the social media site Reddit, these investors have driven up the price of AMC stock by some 1,500% this year – although it has little bearing on the struggling chain’s actual financial performance.

Following the Bitcoin announcement AMC shares jumped almost 6% on Tuesday before falling back.

If anything other than a Marvel movie was playing, I would go to AMC theaters just to pay in Bitcoin.

Actually, no – I’m keeping all my Bitcoin.

But I would go to show support.

Unless it was Marvel.

Regal Cinemas Announces It is Staying Closed in US and UK Until Some Time Next Year https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/10/04/regal-cinemas-announces-its-staying-closed-in-us-and-uk-until-some-time-next-year/ Sun, 04 Oct 2020 00:00:00 +0000

The front page of tomorrow’s Times is announcing that Cineworld is planning to close all of its cinemas across the country as soon as this week putting all of our jobs at immediate risk. There has been no consultation with staff whatsoever. pic.twitter.com/16fKxGcNnG

Theaters are closed forever, people.

This whole thing of pretending that theaters and air travel aren’t a thing of the past is just costing a lot of money.

comicbook.com:

Hours after news surfaced Cineworld was shuttering all locations in the United Kingdom until 2021, the company has announced a similar decision for all Regal Cinemas in the United States. The latest round of closings is the company’s direct response to MGM delaying No Time to Die, a movie that was bumped from November to next April. With No Time to Die off the 2020 release slate for exhibitors, that leaves just Warner Brothers’ Dune and Wonder Woman 1984, two movies all but guaranteed to be pushed back even further should more chains choose to follow suit.

Regal is the second-largest theater chain in the United States behind AMC Theatres and as of now, it’s unclear when the company plans to reopen the locations, both stateside and abroad. The closures are expected to impact at least 5,500 employees in the United Kingdom and upwards of 28,000 employees in the United States.

According to a Variety report, the chains could be closed until next year at the earliest. The news first surfaced via an advance peek at the front page of Britain’s The Sunday Times. Cineworld Action Group, an employee group that’s partnered with Bectu to provide an employee union, commented on the matter, revealing the entire group found out about the closures through social media.

This coronavirus crisis is designed to never end. The only way you could end it now would be to stop the tests. They’re not going to stop the tests, this is just going to keep on going and going.

People need to recognize that and plan based on that instead of pretending we’re going to be watching movies in theaters next year.

AMC Theaters Delays Reopening Again But Says Some Day They’ll Open https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/07/24/amc-theaters-delays-reopening-again-but-says-some-day-theyll-open/ Fri, 24 Jul 2020 00:00:00 +0000

The theater industry is obviously finished.

Why do they keep acting as though it isn’t?

Reuters:

AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc said on Thursday it has delayed the reopening of its movie theaters in the United States to mid to late August, in alignment with the new release dates of Disney’s “Mulan” and Christopher Nolan’s thriller, “Tenet”.

UK’s Cineworld Group PLC also pushed its U.S. reopening date to mid-August, although the company remains on track to welcome back movie-goers in Britain at the end of this month.

Movie theaters across the world were shuttered since the mid-March when several countries imposed lockdowns and social distancing measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Probably, the plan is to keep sending mixed signals to the population, to keep them in a state of confusion.

They say on one hand that normal is never coming back, then on the other hand say it’s just a matter of time. That prevents people from ever coming to terms with the new normal if they think the old normal is maybe going to return, and this is all just temporary.

I’ll just go ahead and tell you as a matter of absolute fact: the movie theaters are never opening again.

Shitty New Star Wars’ Ticket Sales Freefalling https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/06/05/shitty-new-star-wars-sales-freefalling/ Tue, 05 Jun 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol
Daily Stormer
June 5, 2018

What, you ask? The Stormer hasn’t released a review of Solo yet? Shhhhhhhh… Don’t tell Andrew. I think he forgot. We’ve dodged the bullet on this one. Thank God.

Solo, Jew Disney’s newest Star Wars monstrosity, was already considered a flop, compared with the opening weekends of previous movies in the franchise.

Presumably, after being kiked so hard by the previous six movies, the people have had enough and their enthusiasm is starting to wane.

However, it seems like the new movie is so shitty that no one is even interested in watching it after the first few days – ticket sales are in total free fall.

Forbes:

We box office pundits get some understandable grief from readers and commentators when we proclaim a new movie after the first three days (or even the first day) of a theatrical release. But this isn’t the early 1990’s, where a buzzy word-of-mouth charmer can more easily overcome a mediocre opening weekend. Theatrical moviegoing is now designed to get as much of the demand filled in those first three days as possible, and post-debut miracles are fewer and far between.

This is because movies only have consistent sales over time if they’re actually good, and get promoted by word of mouth and repeat viewings.

This is why a movie like Idiocracy has become a cult classic, even though Fox did everything they could to bury it.

You wouldn’t want the goyim to have the idea that eugenics is good, right?

And that’s why Disney’s latest showing is plummeting in spite of all the promotion and hype – not to mention the Star Wars franchise’s enormous and rabid fanbase.

Barring a miracle or Jedi Force trick, or a rewriting of the stars, Solo: A Star Wars Story was not going to be a leggy wonder that overcame a weak debut, poor buzz and merely decent reviews. If you argue that I was premature in proclaiming doom, at least in North America, on the latest Star Wars flick, I can certainly make the call now. All due respect, Solo: A Star Wars Story is not giving audiences everything they ever want, everything they ever need, right in front of them.

As is often the case, a soft opening, a negative media narrative, lack of buzzy elements and relative audience indifference is leading to a huge drop for a movie that didn’t open all that great to begin with. Walt Disney and Lucasfilm’s ill-advised and ill-fated Han Solo prequel flick earned just $8.153 million on its second Friday of domestic release. That’s a huge 77.2% drop from its not-great $35.6m Friday (which included $14.1m in Thursday previews) and it gives the film just $127.745m in eight days of domestic release.

Judaism destroyed Star Wars like proton torpedoes wrecked the Death Star.

Or, more accurately, like a force field wrecked Jar Jar’s face.

What I’m saying is, their Jew greed killed the golden goose. If they had just hired top goy directors to lay a sequel every five years, they could have milked Star Wars forever.

Instead, they’re releasing half-assed, pozzed crap every year. Even the die-hard fans are starting to be fed up with it.

This is not good, especially when the movie is so expensive and the overseas numbers are so poor. At best it plays like Suicide Squad, X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men Origins: Wolverine and levels out after a super-duper drop for a $210-$215m domestic total. Yes, Last Jedi and Star Trek Nemesis (which dropped 76% on its second weekend) earned 1.65x their ten-day totals, which would be around $244m for Solo. But those had Christmas/New Year’s advantages which Solo will not.

In other words, there’s a very real chance they won’t even make their budget, which was around $250 million.

With the advertising costs at however many extra hundreds of millions more…

It’s true – and it’s really funny.

And with 8 more films on the way, this is going to be a hell of a blow to Disney’s finances if the trend continues. And it might even get progressively worse, if the movies’ quality keeps dropping.

We can only hope this hurts Disney, which might be the Jew’s most vile propaganda mill.

At this point, the only thing that could save them would be to make a Vader movie where he just wrecks filthy alien scum for the glory of the empire for two hours straight.

I’d watch that.
