A 37-year-old man has been booked into Douglas County Jail in connection with the fatal shooting outside a gas station Sunday morning.

Antwan D. Lovejoy has been booked on suspicion of first-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in the death of Andrew Peek, 27.

Peek was fatally shot about 6 a.m. Sunday outside the Bucky’s gas station at 30th and Dodge Streets. He was found between gas pumps and taken to the Nebraska Medical Center, where he died.

The assailant took Peek’s gold Nissan Maxima, which was recovered later in the day.

The Tucson Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a suspect they said robbed a bank on Thursday, June 7.

TPD said around 10:10 a.m., officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at the U.S. Bank located inside the Safeway at 2140 W. Grant Rd.

TPD said a woman approached the two victim tellers and demanded money. She was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot, TPD said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic or Native American female, 50-60 years old, 5’3″ and 200lbs.

The Detroit Police Department says three people have been charged with the murder, torture, and mutilation of a woman found dead in the back of a burning car last week.

Alyssa Dickson, 21, Felicia Bowles, 37, and Damiso Marble, 30, all face charges of felony murder; torture; unlawful imprisonment, and disinterment or mutilation of a body. Marble and Bowles also face a charge of assault with intent to commit murder.

All three suspects are being held without bond.
