This was inevitable. There is no MSNBC for Old White Men.

I wish we knew how much of it was due to calling Bernie Sanders a Nazi and how much of it was due to complimenting an ugly woman.

Chris Matthews’ abrupt resignation at the beginning of MSNBC’s “Hardball” Monday night came after several weeks of blunders that prompted the network to take action, say people familiar with the matter.

Mathews spoke to part of the controversy in an on-air apology, saying that “compliments on a woman’s appearance that some men, including me, might have thought were okay were never okay…and for making such comments in the past, I’m sorry.”

MSNBC had no comment, but people familiar with the matter say the timetable for a planned retirement was suddenly accelerated after a series of mistakes and missteps by the onetime Jimmy Carter speechwriter and Tip O’Neill aide.

But for Matthews, a passionate political junkie, to bow out the day before Super Tuesday, rather than at the end of the primaries or even the end of the week suggests he did not control the timing.

His sudden departure is being portrayed by insiders as a matter of mutual agreement with the network that has employed him for two decades. He told viewers it’s time for a younger generation to take over. But there is no question that the recent spate of self-inflicted wounds rendered him a liability at the left-leaning network.

While people familiar with the matter say Matthews’ retirement had been imminent, they were unable to say whether that meant in weeks, months or after the 2020 election.

Matthews went to break immediately after disclosing his resignation, and the substitute host, Steve Kornacki, looked visibly shocked as he praised his colleague as a legend. But insiders say Kornacki had in fact been notified in advance.

The most high-profile embarrassment in a shaky month came when Matthews likened Bernie Sanders’ victory in Nevada to the Nazi invasion of France in 1940. After a weekend of intense criticism, he apologized to Sanders at the top of “Hardball” last Monday.

The final straw may have been a piece in GQ magazine Saturday by Laura Bassett, who described being a guest on his show in 2017 and was naming him for the first time.

Bassett said the host looked at her in the makeup chair and said, “Why haven’t I fallen in love with you yet?”

This petard leaves a bad taste in his hoist, I’m certain.

Chris Matthews was truly a great man, who made so many deeply important contributions.

Today they’ve come for Chris Matthews, who is being accused of – wait for it – “inappropriate flirting”!

MSNBC host Chris Matthews “inappropriately flirted” with a much younger female guest on at least two occasions while she was getting made up to appear on his “Hardball” show, the woman wrote Friday.

Freelance journalist Laura Bassett, who previously wrote about the incidents in 2017 without naming Matthews, identified him in a column published by GQ.

“I was afraid to name him at the time for fear of retaliation from the network; I’m not anymore,” she wrote.

During one incident in 2016, Matthews — who’s married to Kathleen Matthews, a former Maryland Democratic Party chairwoman — allegedly “looked over at me in the makeup chair next to him and said, ‘Why haven’t I fallen in love with you yet?’” Bassett wrote.

“When I laughed nervously and said nothing, he followed up to the makeup artist. ‘Keep putting makeup on her, I’ll fall in love with her.’”

Another time, Bassett said, Matthews complimented her red dress and asked, “You going out tonight?”

When Bassett replied that she didn’t know, Matthews reportedly told the makeup artist, “Make sure you wipe this off her face after the show. We don’t make her up so some guy at a bar can look at her like this.”

Bassett said that although she’s “pretty sure that behavior doesn’t rise to the level of illegal sexual harassment…it undermined my ability to do my job well.”

Bassett, who uses a screenshot from an appearance on “Hardball” as her profile photo on Twitter, also said her interactions with Matthews made her “noticeably uncomfortable on air.”

Despite not naming Matthews in 2017, Bassett said that “dozens of people reached out to say they knew exactly who it was” because his off-camera behavior with guests is an “open secret.”

Matthews “often creeps up to the line of sexual harassment without actually crossing it, so that women can never feel that it’s worth jeopardizing their own careers to complain,” she added.

The New York Post makes a point to say in the first line of this article that he is “much younger than her.” And indeed, she says that in her own essay.

In actual fact, though he looks a little bit younger because of plastic surgery that worked out well for him, the man is 74 years old.

What everyone knows is that this is the way that old men talk to young, pretty girls – just to give them little compliments and get a smile from them. The fact of reality is that overweight men in their 70s are not going around with erections trying to screw younger women. There are some now who take Viagra and try to do it, but that is a weird psychological thing they are doing more than it is a sexual thing. And any attempts by men in their 70s to actually get down and nasty with a woman are unrelated to old man compliments.

It isn’t actually even “flirting” by any standard definition of the term. It’s more or less the same thing they do to their granddaughters. He said the thing about “falling in love,” which he probably wouldn’t say to his granddaughter, but the basic vibe is granddad talk, just wanting to see his pretty granddaughter smile.

There may be some men who don’t know what I just told you. I don’t know. Maybe some men haven’t ever been in a situation where there is a man in his 70s and a younger girl. But I know that all women know what this is.

It is insane to me that GQ would publish this. But I guess this is where we’re at now. We’re post Weinstein conviction, so women are going to see how far they can push this stupid hoax.

This is just a blatant attempt by this bitch to get some media attention – which she is for sure getting.

Because speaking of ages, she is sure no spring chicken. She is a “literally who” and does not even have a Wikipedia page, but she does have a “Everipedia” page, which says she’s been blogging for HuffPo since 2009. She presumably would have been out of college by then, so I mean, do the math – she’s well over thirty, she looks like she’s forty-five, and the only thing that has ever happened in her life is that she was invited on guest spots on Chris Matthews’ show.

She was literally laid off from HuffPo in January.

She has nothing to lose and women have no morality to speak of.

So she goes and tries to destroy the one man who ever helped her out in order to get some cheap media publicity.

Of course I love this stuff. I’m just laying out the facts of life for you here. But leftists getting destroyed by unhinged feminism is something I truly love to see.

These are the values they promote. Chris Matthews getting hit with a sexual harassment charge is like Charlie Kirk getting hit with an Israeli air strike.

You know the line.

So, I mean, whatever.

The only thing I am against with regards to all of this #metoo stuff is changing the laws, which the conviction of Harvey Weinstein did. Otherwise, it is all great. Right-wing men can’t ever face any consequences from it anyway, as we saw with Donald Trump, who literally grabs women by the pussy and does not even care at all.

This comes after Matthews called Bernie Sanders a Nazi, which is something that got a lot of people really upset. I doubt he’ll go down for this “inappropriate flirting” allegation, but it is another log on the fire.

Obviously not. If you believe the dumb hoax of the Holocaust, six million Jews died during the war. In the entire war, an estimated 80 million people died. So, 90% of the deaths were non-Jew, by the Jew’s official story.

So why did they suffer “especially”?

No reason. That’s just a hoax within a hoax. We’re supposed to remember WWII as “World War Holocaust” because the Jews are God’s chosen ones, our masters whom we must worship.

If Matthews was going to apologize, he should have apologized to Bernie for calling him a Nazi.

Former Clinton strategist James Carville declared that the Nevada Caucuses were going ‘very well’ for Vladimir Putin ahead of Senator Bernie Sanders being projected to win, making him the frontrunner for Democratic presidential nominee.

Carville, who advised Hillary Clinton during her failed 2008 presidential campaign, claimed the caucus results proved Putin wanted ‘Trump to win’ when speaking with MSNBC on Saturday.

‘Right now, it’s about 1:15 Moscow time. This thing is going very well for Vladimir Putin. I promise you,’ vouched Carville. ‘He’s probably staying up watching this right now. How you doing, Vlad?’

I have compared the constant Russia talk to Medieval talk of the influence of the Devil.

But in Medieval times you had an entire cosmology accepted by the people that involved the Devil. Modern people, I simply do not believe, are thinking all that much about Russia.

They’ve also really failed to explain what exactly the evil agenda of Russia actually is.

So you end up with all of this not registering in people’s brains, because if they hear this about Russia, they can only decide “so you mean they’re just trying to mess with us?”

And the idea of a foreign power playing this large of a role in all of American society for no clear reason is confusing, and so people will simply dismiss it.

It’s all just bad form.

The thing about all of these Irishmen that the Jews hired to be their frontmen on television is that Irishmen tend to be somewhat vulgar.

Matthews may have chosen to sit out the appearance because of a 2016 video uncovered by New York Magazine’s The Cut late Friday, which showed him joking about drugging and raping then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“This was a terrible comment I made in poor taste during the height of the Bill Cosby headlines,” Matthews told The Cut. “I realize that’s no excuse. I deeply regret it and I’m sorry.”

The video, however, was just the latest in a string of scandals for the MSNBC host.

The Daily Caller previously spoke to six former NBC guests and staffers who accused Matthews of running a brazenly sexist and abusive work environment. Some former staffers referred to themselves as victims of battered wives syndrome, and noted that Matthews would often rate the looks of his female guests on a numerical scale and verbally berate female producers to the point of tears. 

MSNBC also confirmed to TheDC that the company had made a separation-related payment to an assistant producer in 1999 after she accused Matthews of sexual harassment.

Honestly, when I first saw the blurb about this I didn’t think he would get completely and utterly metooed, but missing a high-profile talk show appearance definitely indicates that he is feeling the pressure.

With all that other stuff piling up, he might be done.

But that’s okay.

MSNBC still has a wealth of talented FEMALE hosts.

The Jewish media will do just fine with only women working for them.

After all, as we all know – and as the Jews know best – women can do absolutely anything a man can do, except way better than any man can do it.

Chris Matthews was accused of sexual harassment back in 1999. In the age of #MeToo, this means he must lose his job in current year and be forever remembered as a sex pervert.

It looks as if MSNBC host Chris Matthews has been ensnared in #MeToo. He along with his employer was forced to pay a woman who complained that he was sexually harassing her.

An MSNBC spokesman confirmed Saturday the company made a separation-related payment to one of Chris Matthews employees after the woman complained about sexual harassment.

Two sources familiar with the situation told The Daily Caller that Matthews paid $40,000 to settle with an assistant producer on his show, “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” in 1999 after she accused him of harassment. An MSNBC spokesperson contested that claim to the Caller, saying the company instead paid significantly less as part of a severance package.

The woman complained to CNBC executives about Matthews making inappropriate comments and jokes about her while in the company of others.

The MSNBC spokesman said that they thoroughly reviewed the situation at the time and that Matthews received a formal reprimand. Based on people who were involved in the matter, the network concluded that the comments were inappropriate and juvenile but were not intended to be taken as propositions.

Does Matthews actually think that making inappropriate comments and jokes is acceptable in the modern workplace? It doesn’t matter if this happened back in 1999. It could have happened in 1899 and it would still be a problem.

The fact that the company and Matthews had to pay this woman is definitive proof that Matthews needs to be fired from his job. It shows that even the company knew that Matthews had been engaging in bad behavior.

In the age of #MeToo, women have been fully empowered to destroy any man’s career at will. All they have to do is allege wrongdoing. Matthews as someone who has actively promoted feminism throughout his media career should be fully supportive of #MeToo even if it costs him his own job.

Only through full female empowerment can we ever hope to end sexual harassment in the workplace. Matthews as a privileged White male should understand this.

Now that this information is public, MSNBC must fire Matthews immediately. They have no choice in the matter. Not doing so would show MSNBC’s management to be sexist and against women. I personally hope that they replace Matthews with a Black tranny.

MATTHEWS: Is it a royal family instead of a Democratic or a Republican form of government? Or is it a family running the government? Is it Ivanka and Jared and the President sitting around in the White House upstairs ruling the world?

PARKER: I don’t think it’s quite that but I think it is run like a family business. The president and his aides see it publicly and privately and the President’s family, his children, especially his daughter Ivanka and, you know, Jared Kushner, they operate with a degree of impunity that does not exist for these other aides. So, if you look at just Jared and Tillerson, Jared basically emerged as a shadow Secretary of State. You mentioned peace in the Middle East. His portfolio includes not only that, it includes China, it includes Mexico, it includes Canada and that’s just on the foreign policy front. So, if you’re the secretary of state, ambassadors and leaders of foreign nations know that they can directly go to the President’s son-in-law and have his ear that deeply undermines you and makes it really difficult for you to do your job.

MATTHEWS: And then you find out in all these investigations that Jared was opening up a tunnel to Moscow so he wouldn’t have to deal with the State Department. So the son-in-law — you know, one good thing Mussolini did was execute his son-in-law. I mean, I’m talking about Ciano

MATTHEWS: That was an extreme measure. But this was — this is a strange situation.

I’m of course 100% against Kushner, and not simply because of his race. He is full-Jew in every sense, and is pushing a Jew agenda.

I can see that Trump is using him as a human shield, however, and he’s the best sort of Jewish human shield he can have.

And it now appears that he’s lost power.

But Chris O’Matthews calling for him to be executed – that is a weird thing to do.

To be honest with you, it seems a little bit anti-Semitic.
