The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), which operates a gender clinic, removed numerous videos and posts discussing childhood gender transitions, including irreversible surgeries, from its website amid public backlash, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The CHOP Gender and Sexuality Development Program came under scrutiny in September 2022 after some of its training videos on childhood gender transitions were circulated online, and the clinic said it was tightening its security that October due to threats. Resources including videos in which clinic staff promoted cross-sex medical interventions for minors and advised school workers to keep children’s gender identity secret from their families have since disappeared from CHOP’s website; these pages are saved in online archives, but their links either redirect to error pages or go to pages that have been heavily altered with certain links removed.

A CHOP webpage linking to a document that promoted “gender-affirming care” for youth, including mastectomies for girls as young as 13, was saved to online archives in June 2022, but that page had been removed from public view by November. The document was produced by CHOP’s PolicyLab, which conducts research and makes public policy recommendations on health care issues.

“Many transmasculine youth … experience chest dysphoria, which is physical and emotional distress caused by the presence of unwanted breast tissue,” the document read. “In research conducted with colleagues at CHOP, we examined the experience of chest dysphoria and top (masculinizing chest) surgery in transmasculine youth ages 13–21 … Top surgery can vastly improve the lives of transmasculine youth and is critical to their health and well-being.”

The CHOP website also removed the public’s ability to download annual reports on the clinic’s achievements in medicine, outreach and advocacy, which were publicly available as of June 2022 but needed to be requested by email as of January 2023, according to online archives. One such report previously obtained by the DCNF revealed that the clinic had hired a social worker to help minors access “gender-affirming” surgeries by gathering letters of support and requesting that insurance companies cover the procedure.

CHOP’s “Professional Resources for the Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic” web page featured an LGBTQ Education Program section and a video resources section as of September 2021, according to online archives, but neither exist on the current website. An hour-long webinar on adolescent medical transition that advised puberty blockers as young as eight and hormones and surgeries as young as 14 was among the links scrubbed from the page, along with videos titled “Supporting Transgender and Gender Expansive Students” and “Discussing Sexuality and Safer Sex with Trans Clients;” the videos are all currently unlisted on YouTube.

A family support and education specialist for CHOP urged school counselors to keep students’ preferred names and pronouns secret from their families and other school staff in the now-removed video on supporting trans students. The same webinar said school bathrooms, locker rooms and sports should be organized based on gender identity rather than biological sex.

CHOP’s Gender and Sexuality Development Program was one of several child gender clinics to come under fire in late 2022 as online activists publicized videos and documents detailing cross-sex medical treatments being offered to children.

This is primarily ideological, of course. They are trying to exterminate the human race (at least the white race).

Video footage has emerged on social media of the founder of the gender clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) saying age is just a number while testifying before a health committee that her clinic refers girls as young as 14 for medically unnecessary bilateral mastectomies.

The footage of Nadia Dowshen appearing before the Pennsylvania Health Committee hearing on Appropriate Care Models for Transgender Adolescents in Sept 2020 was uncovered by parental rights advocate, Megan Brock, and shared on her Twitter account. Brock has previously uncovered CHOP training videos instructing gender clinic staff on how to coerce parents into transitioning their children, and another of Dowshen saying the gender clinic receives referrals from homeless shelters and foster care.

In the video, Dowshen is asked at what age “top surgery” generally happens. She explains that while major medical professional organizations recommend that there is no lower age limit for performing double mastectomies on adolescent girls, at the CHOP clinic, the girls are generally aged 16 and over.

When asked by Rep. David Zimmerman what would be the youngest her clinic would refer a girl for this surgery, Dowshen replied “as young as age 14” before stating again that the majority of bilateral mastectomies are performed on girls between 16 and 18.

“I think it’s really important to remember that age is a number,” continued Dowshen. “As an adolescent medicine and developmental specialist, we know that where a child is cognitively and socially is more important than that exact number of their age.”

However, any adolescent medicine and developmental specialist should know that the brain doesn’t finish developing until around age 25, and that from age 12 to 25, it is normal for a young person to experiment with their identity.

When asked about whether the combination of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones can leave an adolescent infertile, Dowshen again shows her complete lack of understanding about child and adolescent development.

She acknowledged that questions about fertility were important and that the issue is discussed “early on and often” with these children and their parents. She claimed that “transgender youth” are aware that there are other ways to build a family, such as adoption, before going on to say that “many transgender children and adolescents … are not interested in having children at all or adopting.”

Again, surely any specialist working with children ought to know that it is developmentally normal for a child or adolescent to claim that they will never want children, but that as the young person grows and matures, that feeling is very likely to change. Doctors are hesitant to provide vasectomies or tubal ligation to teenagers or young adults for the purposes of birth control, no matter how adamantly they might claim never to want children, for precisely this reason.

The co-founders of CHOP gender clinic published a study in 2021 which claimed to show that performing bilateral mastectomies on teenage girls is medically necessary. The study claims that because chest dysphoria is a major source of distress and can be functionally disabling to teenage girls who think they are boys, removing their healthy breasts during adolescence is the solution.

But during her testimony before the Health Committee, Dowshen admitted that her clinic does not follow up with any of the patients after they leave pediatric care.

This is very normal, and it’s good.

A Japanese artist, activist and reporter went to Seattle to cover the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) and to show that the protest was non-violent. He left within 15 minutes having been severely beaten up.

Oogesa Taro, the organizer of a collaborative social art project called ‘Without Borders’, travelled to the US to explore the ongoing protests that erupted in the wake of the George Floyd killing by Minneapolis police.

Reporting from the ground within the CHAZ, it didn’t take long before Taro was set upon and beaten up by some of the area’s less welcoming residents.

Despite the unsavoury encounter and hostility, Taro’s indomitable spirit led him back to the scene of the crime.

“Im back. #CHOP. To prove that this is not a protest that affirms violence. To prove that this is not a violent protest,” he said.

He returned undeterred to cover the civil unrest in the US as anti-racism activists and anarchists unite to create a police-free utopia, in which at least one person has been shot dead and several injured.

Americans who understand black violence found the story amusing.

Seattle officials announced on Monday that they would begin to dismantle the six blocks of occupied streets known as the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or “Chaz”, following two shootings at the site in 48 hours.

“It’s time for people to go home. It is time for us to restore Cal Anderson and Capitol Hill so it can be a vibrant part of the community,” said the Seattle mayor, Jenny Durkan, during a press conference. “We can still accommodate people who want to protest peacefully, come there and gather. But the impacts on the businesses and residents and community are now too much.”

Durkan said Seattle police would be returning to the east precinct, the site they abandoned after a series of dangerous clashes between protesters and law enforcement.

She said they’ll do so “peacefully” and “in the near future” but did not offer an exact timeline.

The decision comes about two weeks after a section of the Seattle neighborhood of Capitol Hill was occupied by protesters as a self-proclaimed police-free zone. The area is also known as the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (Chop).

Hundreds of protesters have faithfully gathered there each day and night, filling the area with free food and community gardens, and holding speeches and teach-ins.

Although it had been largely peaceful, that changed over the weekend, when two separate shootings took place. A 19-year-old man was killed and two others were injured, one critically.

Officers responding to the shooting have said they “were met by a violent crowd that prevented officers’ safe access to the victims”, according to a police blog. Investigations of the shootings are still ongoing.

During the press conference Monday, the Seattle police chief, Carmen Best, said that while there had been countless people protesting peacefully, there had also been “shootings, a rape, assaults, burglary, arson, and property destruction”.

“This isn’t a debate about first amendment rights, this is about life or death,” she added.

She further added: “dem niggas out der be all like dat.”

The idea that any leftist ever even mentions the First Amendment really chaffs my caboose, I can tell you that much.

I don’t think Chop is going to shut down. It might. But I doubt it. More likely, they will work out a deal with the police to allow them to police murders.

Two shootings by the blacks happened in Seattle’s Chop zone over the weekend, and the victims had to be transported out of the zone using private cars because the ambulances were not cleared to enter.

Raz Simone, who has stylized himself as the “warlord” of the Chop, has posted a video of him begging the ambulances to enter the zone and treat the victim. It is confusing what the message is supposed to be. The whole claim of the protesters is that they do not need civilization, and don’t want to be a part of it, and here they are begging civilization to help them.

Seriously, what is this? That nigga gay.

It’s possible that the man who died could have been saved if the medics had been able to get in, but it is a standard practice across the board that medics are not allowed to enter an area before police secure it, and police are not allowed in the Chop.

You would think that the Chop would be trying to cover this up, claim that there was nothing the ambulance could have done, try to say that they have control over the situation. Instead, they are demonstrating that they don’t have control, and then blaming the city for something that is obviously their own fault.

These people should have understood that if they made it so police were not allowed in the area, medics would not be able to get into the area. They should have also known that it was inevitable that the blacks they’d invited into the zone would start shooting each other.

They’re going to have an even bigger problem with this now that the blacks know that they can kill people in the zone and not ever have to worry about the cops. If there is one thing young black men like, it is killing each other, and if they know they can do it and not even face the threat of cops, they’re going to do it a lot more.

If this was just a bunch of hippies, maybe the situation would make some sense. But saying you don’t want the police to police black violence creates a very difficult situation, where you are actually encouraging and enabling murder.

It’s hard to imagine anyone supporting that.

There’s been a shooting inside of the CHOP in Seattle, according to the media and the cops. One person was reported dead early Saturday, according to media and tweets, and the cops have confirmed they’re investigating.

So the Seattle PD is going to investigate a shooting in the autonomous area?

How do the residents feel about this?

I always hate to state the obvious, but I thought the whole point was that they didn’t need the cops, because cops were bad and provide nothing to society. But then all of a sudden a black shoots another black – something that happens dozens of times a day in this country – and the cops are going in to solve it?

Surely, if they are capable of living without the cops, they should be able to deal with something as routine as a black-on-black murder. If they can’t deal with something this basic, then what can they deal with?

Unfortunately, this situation draws attention to the underlying retardation of the overall situation. If this was a bunch of white hippies doing peace and love and complaining that they were being brutalized for selling acid, there would be arguments to be made with regards to a plan to allow them to run their own wacky drug utopia.

But this isn’t just white hippies on drugs. This is white hippies allying with violent black thugs, and the only way to have a black society without cops is to simply tolerate regular murder.

What I’m waiting for is the argument that the blacks murder each other regardless of whether or not there are police. This may actually be a viable argument. They can say that police do nothing to prevent the murders, and that they very rarely solve the murders, so it makes more sense to just allow the blacks to kill each other and do nothing about it.

That is sort of the logical end to all of this, I think. Maybe CHOP will block the cops coming in to investigate this by shouting, “he’s already dead, it doesn’t matter now, just go!”

I don’t know if they have anyone there who is smart enough to understand how much it will undermine their agenda if the cops are allowed in to investigate a murder. Surely, they had people smart enough to know that they were counting down the minutes until blacks started killing each other, so someone there must have thought about it.

As far as I’m able to tell, at time of writing, the cops have not yet entered the CHOP.

When they do, it will be the moment of truth.

Fox News spoke to Michael Withey, a human rights lawyer and longtime Seattle activist, about CHOP’s purpose and how it has developed over the past week.

“I don’t speak for the leadership. I only have gone there as a legally trained person in human rights. But I think it’s going to be there for a long time. As the mayor said, ‘it’s going to be a summer of love.’ That’s what I hope it is, but it’s the summer of struggle. It’s the summer of education,” Withey told Fox News.

It’s about education, you see.

We need every white person to learn just how guilty they are.

Withey has been at the forefront of all major Seattle protests since the ’70s, including the 1999 WTO protest, the 1972 Beacon Hill school occupation and more. A few days ago he was given approval by the CHOP General Assembly to set up CHOP legal, a table within the zone where he can advise protesters on their legal rights.

“I talked to the General Assembly, we met and got the approval to get a CHOP legal table set up in the area. We’re trying to recapture the soul of America. And I think it’s important because we’re creating institutions of popular power. Like, for instance, the CHOP Legal, like the General Assemblies. We have breakout groups every day that are discussing how do we want to go about educating our youth,” he said.

“We think a new regime should be established, which is based upon the fundamental principles of human rights, of racial and social justice. And that would include the idea that once we, let’s call it, reconstitute the police, there’ll be no more need for the militarization, will be no more need for the police guild that has acted as a brake on any reforms in the city for a long time. Rather, community service officers from the community will be able to keep order.”

Yes.

“Reconstitute the police” is a good term for the entire goal here.

As I explained, what they are planning to do is replace the cops with Antifa, and others from social justice university departments.

The fact that they’re rolling out old hippies to help with this might seem funny at first, but if you think about it a bit more, it stops being funny.

The city of Seattle and protesters occupying the “Capitol Hill Organized Protest” have reached an agreement that will remove temporary roadblocks and replace them with concrete barriers, Fox News has been told.

The Seattle Department of Transportation is installing concrete barriers in the middle of Pine Street, running East and West, which will split the road for both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This will allow for emergency service vehicles to pass through the area.

The agreement will reduce the area protesters previously called Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ, from about six or seven city blocks to just three. This is the first time in weeks traffic will be able to pass by the shuttered East Police Precinct.
