Police told local media the influencer and others had been detained.

People were seen hurling objects, tearing down barricades, and climbing atop the train station entrance’s roof.

An 18-year-old Texas man visiting his girlfriend in labor went on a rampage at a hospital, where he assaulted several staff members and two babies who turned blue when he choked them, police said.

The unhinged attack began after Marcus Dewayne McCowan Jr. went to the Odessa Regional Medical Center on Monday evening to visit his girlfriend, who was in labor, news station KMID reported.

At one point, the teen began acting oddly and went to the nurses’ station, where he grabbed the arm of a nurse and made “an unintelligible statement” before being asked to leave, the outlet said.

McCowan began running back and forth in the hall in a manner the staff found “odd and unreasonable,” according to an affidavit cited by KMID.

He then ran at “full speed” toward two nurses — Haley Sanchez and Kassandra Reyes — and a mom who was about to leave the hospital with her newborn, the Odessa American reported.

The suspect screamed and shoved Sanchez to the floor while trying to gain access to the nursery, according to the affidavit.

McCowan then snatched the newborn from the mom and ran into the lactation room, where he grabbed the child by the neck with both hands, causing the baby’s face to turn blue, officials said.

Nurses managed to save the baby from the maniac, who then barged into the nursery, where respiratory therapist Martha Fuentes saw him choking another baby whose face and lips turned color, according to the Odessa American.

McCowan allegedly told the girl to “die!” as he choked her — and made a motion as if he was about to throw her to the floor, KMID reported.

Fuentes managed to intervene and protected the newborn from further injury as security officer Lori Tavarez arrived, officials said.

When cops arrived, the suspect reportedly tried to grab one officer’s gun.

McCowan has been charged with two counts of attempted capital murder, possession of a controlled substance, attempt to take a weapon from an officer, assault of a public servant, resisting arrest, criminal trespass and assault.

Police found a THC vape pen on the suspect, the Odessa American said.

These missionaries and nurses from Canada decided that what the world really needed to be a better place was for Haiti to receive additional resources from white people even after Haiti killed all the white people in Haiti.

A group of 24 Canadian missionaries and another of nurses are among visitors stranded in Haiti by ongoing street protests sweeping through the Caribbean country.

The missionaries have been confined to their compound in Grand Goâve, an area roughly 50 kilometers away from capital city Port-au-Prince, after nearby roads littered with burning tires were blocked, according to a statement from their group Haiti ARISE.

“We have nowhere to go, roads are blocked, rioting all over the streets and businesses are being destroyed,” a man referred to as Marc says in a video posted on the group’s Facebook page. “We do have a team here and we have been trying to get them out and it has been totally impossible,” he adds.

Meanwhile, an additional group of eight Canadian who were also trapped inside their charity’s compound have secured a helicopter to take them out of the country. The nurses started a crowdfunding appeal this week, asking the public to “help us escape.”

A shaky video posted to Twitter on Monday shows the Owatonna High School gym swarming with teenagers and law enforcement officers. A crowd of students are pushing toward a door illuminated from above by a red “EXIT” sign. The officers are holding them back.

According to a press release from the Owatonna Police Department, officers responded to reports of a fight at the high school office at about a quarter to noon on Monday. They got backup from the Minnesota State Patrol and the Steele County Sheriff’s Office. When officers arrived, they “observed a large group of students shouting and being disruptive in the commons area and gymnasium.”

The catalyst for the commotion, according to the release and the myriad of angry comments on Twitter, was a series of “racist comments” on Instagram and Snapchat. One of them shows a trio of girls in a car, making funny faces, with the caption, “always love teaching my bitches the best vocab.” It went on to explain that one of them had just said the n-word for the first time in her life.

Another photo showed a student, whose face was off-camera, holding up a middle finger and telling black students “fuck you” for “playing the black card to get us in trouble when y’all can all be the fucking racist [sic] to us.” Again, the student used the n-word.

A third photo showed a student covered in black paint with the caption: “Is this what being a [n-word] feels like?”

In the fourth photo, a white student faces the camera with captions suggesting a new tradition for Black History Month: “[N-word] Friday.”

Releases from the police department do say a juvenile was taken into custody for assaulting a partnering law enforcement officer, along with another kid for obstructing legal process. A third was cited and released for trespassing. The two kids who were arrested were formally charged in Steele County District Court on Tuesday, both for fourth-degree assault of a peace officer. Neither will be named by law enforcement.

There have been tweets and posts alleging students stabbed or punched one another, but the press release assures that there were no weapons involved in the “disturbance” and that police were “not aware of any physical altercations between students.” All reported altercations before the police showed up were strictly verbal. Paramedics were dispatched to the school that day, but for an unrelated reason, the release said.

High school students have been suspended after trading slips reading ‘Wonka’s Golden N-Word Pass,’ in what the principal is calling a racist incident.

Around 15 of the ‘golden tickets’ were circulated in the lunch room on Friday at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland, with the main culprits being three students of multiple races, WJLA-TV reported.

Principal Brandice Heckert harshly criticized those involved in an email sent out to parents on Monday, writing: ‘I am deeply disappointed and appalled that any student in our school would chose to engage in such a racist, hateful act.‘

‘It’s a joke that maybe went a tiny bit too far at the most,’ sophomore Gavin Norman, who was not directly involved in the incident, told WJLA. ‘I never touched the passes though.’

Norman said that a black female student was upset by the tickets and reported them to administrators.

He said that he knew of four students who had been suspended for periods ranging from one to six days. The school district would not confirm the details of student disciplinary measures.

Norman said that he had been grilled by administrators and pressured to ‘snitch’ on his friends for their involvement.

‘They asked me if I thought the passes were ‘offensive.’ I said, ‘sort of, but not really.’ They told me I needed to think it was wrong,’ said Norman.

Norman said that he had been given detention after refusing to name those responsible for the N-word passes.

No one has ever given a proper explanation as to why we have to refer as the word “nigger” as the “n-word” other than “it’s offensive to blacks,” which doesn’t even make sense because most of the time someone utters that word, blacks are not just offended — they violently lash out and initiate physical violence. It definitely holds another kind of power.

In the case of the Wonka’s Golden Passes, the word wasn’t even pronounced, it was just written as “n-word” but a black got triggered all the same.

What happened in Owatonna High School is proof blacks are not fit for civilization.

Numerous police officers rushed to the scene of a potential kidnapping in the Dutch city of Almere, local broadcaster Omroep Flevoland reports. The alarm was raised when a girl was forced into a car in the city’s Haven district.

The would be kidnappers fought with police upon their arrival at the scene as they intervened. Footage of the incident has gone viral in the Netherlands.

The footage shows police officers being attacked by several family members, including a woman in a head scarf. One officer is seen lying on the ground having been knocked down by one of the family members.

Metro Police broke up a huge brawl at Wave Country Saturday but made no arrests because, they say, it was impossible to say who was responsible.

The two families at the center of the melee agree that it began when a white man bumped into the floats of three black girls, they told Fox 17, but after that things get murky.

The Holt family, who are black, told the station that the men yelled racial slurs at the girls, who then told their parents, but the Sellars family, who are white, say that’s not the case.

“They had their kids throwing stuff at us calling us white trash this and that and all kind of craziness,” Jonathan Sellers said, but according to Amanda Holt it was the other way around

“With us approaching them, that’s when all the aggression from them started and that’s when we were called the ‘N’ word,” she said.

Metro police are investigating a fight that happened at a Louisville skate park Monday night.

Cellphone video captured the incident.

WLKY spoke with the woman who said she and her 15-year-old son were attacked as they tried to leave the Louisville Extreme Park. She said the fight started after she spotted a teenager standing on top of her mother’s car, which she had driven to the park.

The woman said that she shouted at the teen to get down and that seconds later, her son was knocked to the ground.

The victims asked WLKY not to identify them.

“He started in on my son,” the woman said. “I went for him and then the next thing I know, I’m getting blows to the head.”

Neither victim was seriously hurt.

Officers cited two girls ages 16 and 14, and one boy age 17 in connection to the assault. They all face assault in the fourth degree and one count of criminal mischief in the second degree.

Federal prosecutors filed a single charge against the man accused of causing a disturbance on a Delta flight that caused it to divert to Tulsa on Wednesday.
Prosecutors filed one felony count of interference with flight crew and attendants against Bolutife Olusegun Olorunda, 29.

Delta Airlines flight 1156 had taken off from Portland, Oregon en route to Atlanta when the flight crew declared an emergency and diverted to Tulsa International, landing at about 11:30 a.m. on May 30, 2018.

“The captain determined it was necessary to divert the flight to Tulsa. The man was taken into custody without any issue,” said U.S. District Attorney Trent Shores.

According to the complaint filed in federal court Thursday, a flight attendant approached Olorunda about his “erratic and disruptive behavior.” The complaint says he was singing and screaming. When a flight attendant attempted to talk to him, he replied in a threatening tone and manner, saying “Don’t touch me and if you touch me again you will regret it,” the complaint says.

“Any time an individual acts in a manor where a plane has to be diverted is something we take very seriously,” Shores said.

The flight attendant asked for help from other passengers if Olorunda became violent and informed the captain about what was happening, according to the complaint. The captain declared an emergency and received clearance to divert to Tulsa.

“People need to understand that when a flight crew member or anyone gives you direction on a plane, that you need to abide by those directions,” Shores said.

The complaint says two Federal Air Marshals were on the flight and while one protected the cockpit the other tried to calm Olorunda down. The marshal tried to remove his headphones to make sure he understood what she was requesting, but he flailed his arms around and ignored her commands, the complaint says.
