Gender identity and sexual orientation can be discussed in Florida classrooms as long as it is not a part of formal instruction, a legal settlement says.

The settlement, announced on Monday, clarifies the scope of a controversial state education law, but left it standing.

Plaintiffs had challenged Florida’s 2002 parental rights bill, arguing it could marginalise LGBT youth.

Both Florida officials and the plaintiffs claimed victory on Monday.

Roberta Kaplan, the lead lawyer in the lawsuit, said in a statement that the legal settlement provides “much-needed clarity” and “represents a major victory for the many thousands of LGBTQ+ students, teachers, parents, and their allies throughout Florida”.

Florida Governor Ron Desantis’s office called it a “major win”.

“We fought hard to ensure this law couldn’t be maligned in court, as it was in the public arena by the media and large corporate actors,” said general counsel Ryan Newman.

The Parental Rights in Education Act – dubbed by critics as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill – initially prohibited classroom discussion and instruction about gender identity and sexual orientation in kindergarten through third grade in state public schools.

The plaintiffs challenging the law argued its vague language would have a chilling effect in schools and lead to confusion about what teachers were allowed to discuss with their students, including things like sharing details about their family lives.

Mr DeSantis, a Republican, has claimed critics deliberately misrepresented the law.

Now, the settlement clarifies that the law “restricts instruction on particular subjects (sexual orientation and gender identity) not mere discussion of them”.

Allowed under the law are “incidental” references in literature to gay or transgender people or same-sex couples.

It would also not restrict “lines referring to LGBTQ issues” in musicals, “dancing between persons of the same gender” at school dances, or references in a classroom to a person’s family.

It doesn’t apply to library books not being used in instruction, and it allows students to participate in extracurricular activities like joining a school Gay-Straight Alliance.

You’ll find, in fact, that everything Republican politicians do amounts to some kind of goofy stunt that has no actual effect on anything you care about.

If you just look at the trajectory of the country over the last three decades, when Republicans have controlled the government for about half of that time, you can clearly see that these people are all completely useless.

A Pride Month event at a Los Angeles-area elementary school devolved into multiple brawls on Friday as parent protesters forced police to intervene just a few weeks after a trans teacher’s Pride flag was burned on the premises.

Over 100 parents rallied against the Pride Day assembly at Saticoy Elementary School in North Hollywood, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Many of the outraged protesters held signs with messages like “Parental choice matters” and “No pride in grooming,” the outlet said. One truck had a large trailer draped in a red banner stating, “Leave our kids alone.”

They faced off against over 100 other demonstrators gathered across the street in support of LGBTQIA+ rights and Pride Month, which kicked off on June 1.

At least two scuffles took place at the tense event, according to NBC Los Angeles. It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured or arrested.

The Friday Gay Pride and Rainbow Day assembly was set to include a reading of “The Great Big Book of Families” by Mary Hoffman, the outlet noted.

Parents could request that their children not attend the program, but Los Angeles Unified District Superintendent Alberto Carvalho reassured parents outside the school on Friday that there was “no sex education specific to the book.”

“The book portrays a reality that is not only common, but is real to our kids,” he said, adding that the material was approved by the school district.

One woman, Karine, 40, told the LA Times that she was fed up with “propaganda,” and was frustrated that her Saticoy third-grader came home from school with rainbow stickers and other items last week.

“I didn’t come from Armenia for this,” she said of the inclusive material.

“I came for freedom and for my children to learn about math and education, not about this. I might go back home.”

One of the clashes took place when Karine and other protesters attempted to cross the street to the pro-Pride side, which prompted police to intervene, the outlet said.

Renato Lira, director of the San Fernando Valley LGBTQ Center in Van Nuys, yelled at the protesters to “get educated.”

“They needed to talk to actual gay people and parents,” he told the LA Times.

Tabitha Davis, 44, arrived at the protest draped in a transgender pride flag and wearing a sweater that read, “You deserve to be happy.”

“I feel like it’s my position and my place to fight for others to feel safe,” Davis, whose child is a trans student at another district school, said.

The group behind Friday’s protest, Saticoy Elementary Parents, insisted on social media that they were not against LGBTQIA+ individuals.

“We want to reiterate that our protest is in no way an attack on the LGBTQ community,” the group wrote on Instagram on Thursday.

“We recognize the importance of promoting equality and acceptance for all individuals.”

Even so, they distributed fliers urging parents to keep their kids “home and innocent” rather than attend Friday’s event.

It’s heartening.

I’ve said many times that if Americans won’t do anything about literal gay faggots targeting their own children, then we are so far beyond doomed that it’s a joke to even talk about hope.

But we are finally seeing more and more people stand up and refuse to go full child anal.

Of course, these Jews have a standing army of white women pushing this on kids, and white men are trained from infancy to defer to the authority of white women in every situation.

But here it is.

I assume the people who threw fists will probably end up in prison and have their kids taken from them and given to gays, however.

I definitely recommend against going to these school events and punching the gays. They will destroy you for this.

You just have to take your kids out of the school. As we’ve seen, even if you get them to officially stop turning your kids gay, they will do it in secret.

Gays and white women have announced publicly that they are going to continue doing it in states that have banned it.

Your kids should not be in the schools

Go to a rural area where they don’t do this, put your kids in a private school, or, if you must, homeschool them. I have always been very against homeschooling, but at this point, it’s just obviously necessary if you don’t have another non-gay option.

The school system in America is an industrial scale homosexual molestation machine.

Is it a federal crime to oppose your child being turned into a tranny?

No one can say for sure.

What we can say is that Joe Biden and other federal officials talk as though this is a federal crime, and the people doing the trannification believe it is a federal crime and will call the federal authorities if you complain about your child being turned tranny.

Catalina Foothills School District (CFSD) filed a report with the FBI after receiving backlash from families about a policy allowing transgender students to use whatever bathroom or locker room they prefer, according to a statement given to the Daily Caller News Foundation from a CFSD spokesperson.

CFSD, located in Tucson, Arizona, has been at odds with parents for months after it was revealed that the district had an “unwritten policy” allowing students who identified as transgender to use the locker room or bathroom of their preference, while students who are uncomfortable with the policy are forced to request to use separate facilities. The district was set to have a meeting on April 25 but canceled it due to concerns about alleged “threats” to the board, according to a Facebook post from the CFSD account.

An incident report, obtained by the DCNF, was filed with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office on April 25 by a local attorney and CFSD parent who was concerned about a comment made in a Facebook group, CFSD Concerned Citizens, regarding the upcoming board meeting. The comment read, “They’re all ready and planning! They canceled the awards for seniors!! Stay Strong! And let’s come in hot,” according to a screenshot obtained by the DCNF.

So, “come in hot” is taken to be a reference to violence or guns.

I guess maybe that term was used in the film “Bad Boys” featuring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith.

The woman said she “was concerned they were going to have firearms” and the incident report goes on to explain that the department had already planned on monitoring the event with several “off-duty officers,” but was later told that they were not needed after the board meeting was canceled.

Julie Farbarik, director of Alumni & Community Relations for CFSD, told the DCNF the district got in touch with the FBI after “multiple” threats.

“The April 25 meeting was canceled due to multiple threats and acts of intimidation,” Farbarik said. “A local group is promoting the false narrative that one online posting prompted the cancellation. We not only sought the help of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department about how to handle the situation but also made a report to the F.B.I.”

Farbarik declined to explain if the Facebook comment was one of the threats reported to the FBI, saying that “we are not disclosing publicly any details about the threats and acts of intimidation.” An FBI spokesperson told the DCNF that “as a matter of policy, the FBI does not confirm or deny the existence of investigations.”

The meeting was later rescheduled for April 28 via live stream, but according to Dan Grossenbach, a parent of a student at Catalina Foothills High School and the founder of the CFSD Concerned Citizens, parents were not notified that the meeting had been rescheduled nor that the district had filed an FBI report.

Farbarik told the DCNF that parents were informed of the new meeting time but did not explain how they were told. She also said that the April 28 agenda did not have a public comments section since it “is not legally required because the Board needed to take care of the district’s business that was interrupted due to the cancellation of the April 25 meeting.”

Another meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. but will only be live-streamed on YouTube. Grossenbach told the DCNF that his group is hosting a “pizza party outside the locked doors to show how silly this all is.”

Bart Pemberton, another parent of a student in the district, gave the DCNF a copy of the remarks he plans to make during the meeting, if allowed.

“We are all here tonight because we love our children, especially those of us who have school-aged children,” Pemberton wrote. “Whenever a significant policy decision is made without widespread knowledge and consent, and when that decision will not be discussed in a public forum by those who have implemented the policy, it can lead to confusion, consternation, and mistrust. Part of the way to alleviate the current contentious atmosphere would be for all of us to remember that we are all here because we love our children. Finally, we can do our best to discuss the pressing issues facing our schools in a professional and loving manner in the proper public forum of a school board meeting.”

The school board stuff is actually boring to me at this point.

Everyone knows the schools are doing this, everyone knows that no one has been successful in stopping them (at least not long-term), and everyone knows that the Biden Administration is preparing federal action to make it impossible to complain about trannies.

Arizona is a conservative state. It doesn’t even matter. They are doing this everywhere.

Basically, you need to either accept homeschooling as a solution, or leave the country.

You’re supposed to choose your battles wisely. Part of the Christian concept of a “just war” is a reasonable possibility of victory. There is no way you are going to win against the school tranny program. You have no reasonable possibility of victory. There is a reasonable possibility you will have your life destroyed and have your kids taken from you by the government.
