A pensioner who volunteers as a Santa Claus for a local charity each year has been sacked for sending “anti-Labour” social media posts.

Paul Cleary told GB News he’s been left devastated at being informed his services would no longer be required after expressing his political opinions online.

The 71-year-old is a well-known figure in the local community, performing at light switch-on events with the Lord Mayor and offering free Santa visits to families.

His work included collecting presents from families before visits and delivering them at scheduled times whilst encouraging donations to Montgomery Hall food bank in Wath-upon-Dearne.

Last year, Cleary collected £170 in cash donations alongside numerous bags of food for the Wath-upon-Dearne Community Partnership.

But Cleary was left “gutted” when he received a formal letter from the group stating his social media posts about “Labour cancelling Christmas” had “upset the board members and volunteers” and were deemed “inappropriate” and “anti-Labour”.

The letter noted that many of the Christmas Festival organisers were Labour Party members and that his views meant it was therefore no longer “appropriate” for him to fulfil the role of Santa Claus.

Cleary was also told that he should stop making donations to the Montgomery Hall food bank because the charity was in a “comfortable position” and didn’t require any further financial donations.

However, on the exact same day that the formal letter was delivered to the pensioner, an advert in the local church magazine from the charity urged locals for help ahead of Christmas.

“It knocked me for six. It made me feel violated,” Cleary told GB News.

“For me, it is disgusting. We have a local church magazine delivered, and the magazine had been delivered on the same day as the letter and I had not seen it.

“There’s a message in there from Montgomery Hall Food Bank asking for Christmas donations, as they are badly in need of donations [even though they asked me to donate elsewhere].”

Devastated by the dismissal, he cancelled all scheduled Santa visits because he was “gutted” by the decision.

Cleary has instead opted to support a different charity with his future appearances and rearranged them.

There is no more happiness in these democracy countries.

Non-profit organisations dedicated to charitable activities in France illegally make tax-free calls for donations to finance military equipment for Israeli soldiers, a French media outlet revealed earlier this week.

In an investigation published on Tuesday, titled “How our taxes finance drones for the Israeli army”, Le Media reported on how community associations break the fiscal legislation enabling charities to benefit from tax-free donations in order to help the army of Israel, which has been waging a devastating war on Gaza and Lebanon over the past 12 months.

In France, donations to non-profit organisations “of general interest” are tax-deductible up to 66 percent. This means that a donation of 100 euros allows the donor to reduce his taxes by 66 euros, thus paying only 34 euros.

This fiscal mechanism aims to encourage philanthropy for humanitarian, social or cultural causes. However, some organisations seem to be abusing it.

Le Media focused its investigation on Tipat Mazal, an organisation created in 2020 near Paris to work “voluntarily for the elderly, orphans and single women with children” in the region.

However, for several months, Tipat Mazal has directed donations it receives towards the purchase of military equipment for Israeli soldiers, according to Le Media.

This includes helmets, tactical vests and dozens of latest-generation thermal drones used for field reconnaissance and currently being deployed in southern Lebanon.

Le Media underlines the key role played in the process by a 49-year-old French-Israeli man named Yohan Sabatier, who has been active since 7 October 2023 providing assistance to Israeli soldiers on the ground, particularly to reservists whom he considers to be poorly equipped.

In an interview in May on a community YouTube channel, Sabatier explained that donations collected by French charities are intended to purchase equipment for Israeli soldiers. He admitted this aid is also illegal in Israel and explained that to circumvent customs laws, donors must claim that these funds are intended for civilians.

Tipat Mazal advertises its fundraising, whose objectives are unclearly termed, on its social media platforms and a Telegram channel totalling more than 49,000 subscribers. Presented as a news group on Israel’s security, the channel is fed by announcements meant to help Israeli businesses and army.

Donors are assured of receiving a tax certificate allowing them to deduct their donations. However, the certificate does not mention any military purchases, and instead justify the donations as being intended for “destitute families”, Le Media checked.

Videos broadcast on social media show Israeli soldiers thanking Sabatier and French donors for the military equipment they were able to acquire thanks to the fundraising.

According to Le Media, 50 drones worth 7,000 euros each were supplied to Israeli soldiers for a total of 350,000 euros. By applying the 66 percent tax exemption, French taxpayers thus contribute 231,000 euros, according to the outlet.

Following its investigation, the soldiers’ thank-you videos were deleted and the fundraisings closed.

The French finance ministry and the local prefecture did not respond to Le Media’s requests for comments.

At the end of 2023, a few months into Israel’s war on the Palestinian enclave, the French media already reported on a similar scheme aimed at supporting Israeli soldiers. At the time, the tax-exempt donations helped purchase food, clothing and hygiene products.

The finance ministry recalled at the time that these practices were illegal, stating that support for soldiers in a foreign army is not eligible for tax deduction.

A major UK charitable foundation, with an endowment fortune of £130m, has announced it is to abolish itself after concluding that traditional philanthropy is a “function of colonial capitalism” and that it had itself become part of the problem.

Lankelly Chase, which gives out about £13m a year in grants to hundreds of charities operating in areas such as social, racial and climate justice, said it wanted to find bold new alternatives to what it called philanthropy’s “cult of benevolence”.

They just rammed through “climate justice,” didn’t they?

Now people apparently read this phrase without blinking an eye.

The 60-year-old institution said it would spend the next five years giving away its assets to organisations and networks which are doing “life-affirming social justice work” in communities around the UK.

It is understood Lankelly Chase’s trustee board had become increasingly unable to reconcile its charitable mission to tackle racism, injustice and inequality with its position as a major investor in global capital markets it considers to be rooted in racial and colonial exploitation.

Seriously – if you understand the world in terms of these cliched tropes, why would you not just commit suicide because you’re white?

It only follows logically.

“We have recognised the gravity of the interlocking social, climate and economic global crises we are experiencing today. At the same time, we view the traditional philanthropy model as so entangled with colonial capitalism that it inevitably continues the harms of the past into the present,” it said in a statement.

It added: “We will relinquish control of our assets, including the endowment and all resources, so that money can flow freely to those doing life-affirming social justice work. Although rare in the UK, the kind of radical re-imagining of charitable funding announced by Lankelly Chase is more common in the US where, experts say, “decolonising the endowment” is a much more active debate in philanthropic and community circles.

“We know not everyone will agree with this decision, and we are not saying every endowed foundation should follow our direction. However, we believe that the case for profound change is now impossible to ignore, and each of us must find our answer. This is ours,” Lankelly Chase said.

In a foretaste of how it might begin to redistribute its assets, it announced it is to give £8m – around 6% of its total endowment fund – to the Baobab Foundation, a funding body created in 2021 by black funders to grow resources for under-resourced grassroots UK black and African community organisations.

Again – why doesn’t this apply to individuals? Why is “Lankelly Chase” refusing to kill himself and donate the proceeds to random black people?

Hogwarts Legacy still has not shaken off the ire it has gained from some gamers, though. Popular speedrunning charity Games Done Quick has now banned it and the rest of the Harry Potter video games from being used as submissions for becoming one of the runners for their events.

Their list of disallowed games is for those that “have content, views, or an origin that [they] have deemed unsuitable for [their] stream”. This includes other titles such as the Five Nights at Freddy’s series and God of War (2005).

The chief executive of Mermaids, Susie Green, has left the transgender children’s charity after six years in her post, the organisation announced on Friday.

In a statement posted on the charity’s website, the chair of trustees, Belinda Bell, wrote: “The trustees are very grateful to Susie for everything she has done over the last six years to support trans, non-binary and gender-diverse young people and their families, and to build Mermaids into the organisation it is today. We wish her all the best for the future.”

The charity said an interim chief executive will be appointed shortly. There was no explanation of what triggered the unexpected announcement.

Founded in 1995 and staffed solely by volunteers until 2016, Mermaids made Green its first member of staff. Headquartered in Leeds, with an office in London, it has about 44 staff members and 110 volunteers.

Further controversy was prompted by an article in the Times reporting that a Mermaids trustee, Dr Jacob Breslow, an associate professor at the London School of Economics (currently listed as being on sabbatical), gave a 2011 presentation for B4U-ACT, an organisation that aims to promote “a science-informed understanding about people … with an attraction to children”.

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors used charity funds to pay her brother and child’s father eye-watering sums of cash for various services, according to tax documents filed with the IRS.

The co-founder’s brother, Paul Cullors, saw a cool sum of $840,000 hit his bank account for allegedly providing security services to the nonprofit organization, tax documents seen by The Post show.

Meanwhile, the organization paid a company owned by Damon Turner, with whom Cullors shares a child, almost $970,000 to help “produce live events” as well as other “creative services.”

On top of the controversy, BLM wrapped up its fiscal year — which runs from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021 — with a stunning $42 million in net assets.

The foundation had an operating budget of about $4 million, according to a board member.

More than $37 million was spent by the foundation on grants, real estate, and charter on private flights, according to the tax filings.

What’s more, $32 million was invested in stocks, making up nearly a third of the $90 million the organization received in donations.

After back-to-back controversies, Cullors last year resigned as executive director of the organization amid criticism over her lavish lifestyle.

The tax filing’s release closely follows the controversy over the purchase of a $6 million property in Los Angeles.

BLM faced a torrent of backlash last month when it publicly emerged that the organization purchased a swanky Southern California home using donated cash.

Cullors at the time said she was weeks removed from being in “survival mode” after The Post’s exclusive reporting revealed her purchase of four high-end US homes for $3.2 million.

During that time, she said she hosted a Joe Biden inauguration party for about 15 people, including BLM chapter members and other key allies of the organization.

Cullors initially said the property was purchased by BLM to serve as a meeting venue and campus. She also issued a statement denying suggestions she had lived at the property — or taken advantage of it for personal gain.

Cullors said she also threw a private birthday party for her son at the property in March 2021 — and intended to pay a rental fee to BLM.

The recent tax filing shows she paid the foundation an additional $390 over her uses of the 6,500-square-foot Studio City property for two private events.

Tax records show after spending more than $37 million on grants, real estate, consultants and other undisclosed expenses, the BLM organization is still worth tens of millions of dollars.

“This 990 reveals that (the BLM foundation) is the largest black abolitionist nonprofit organization that has ever existed in the nation’s history. What we’re doing has never been done before,” said Shalomyah Bowers, who serves as the foundation’s board secretary.

“We needed to get dollars out to grassroots organizations doing the work of abolition, doing the work that would shift the moral tide of this world towards one that does not have or believe in police, prisons, jails or violence,” he added.

Tax records show BLM paid Bowers over $2 million for providing the organization with operational support, such as staffing and fundraising.

The foundation vowed to launch a “transparency and accountability center” on its website to make its financial documents available for public inspection.

Bowers — who was named as one of three members of BLM’s board of directors in May — serves alongside board chair Cicley Gay, a communications professional, and ‘DZhane Parker, a member of BLM’s Los Angeles chapter.

“We are decolonizing philanthropy,” Gay said. “We, as a board, are charged with disrupting traditional standards of what grant-making in philanthropy looks like. It means investing in black communities, trusting them with their dollars.”

Chick-Fil-A said on Monday that it has stopped funding two Christian charities after coming under fire in recent weeks from LGBTQ activists.

The fast-food chain’s foundation has donated millions of dollars to The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Both organizations have a history of opposing same-sex marriage.

Chick-fil-A said it no longer funds the organizations.

“We made multi-year commitments to both organisations and we fulfilled those obligations in 2018,” a spokeswoman for Chick-fil-A told the Thomson Reuters Foundation, adding the company would focus its giving on “education, homelessness and hunger.”

In other words, they’re now donating to Black people.

When reached by CNBC, the company declined to comment further.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, who coordinated an appreciation day for Chick-fil-A when it first came under fire in 2012, tweeted Monday that the chain “betrayed loyal customers for $$.”

But over several years, Mr. Dalglish, a Canadian, endeared himself to many in the community, greeting villagers in Nepali, offering chocolates from Thailand to children playing in the forest and helping people rebuild their homes destroyed by devastating earthquakes in 2015.

The good will was shattered last month when the police swarmed around Mr. Dalglish’s home, placed a gun to his head and arrested him on charges of raping at least two boys, 12 and 14.

Suddenly, villagers were on edge, worried about how far the betrayal — and abuse — may have stretched.

You can go read the guy’s Wikipedia – he’s like, one of the world’s top figures in doing these third world children’s aid programs.

He’s been working in these aid programs since the 80s.

He’s worked for the UN, directly, in charge of some kinds of children’s thing.

He’s been celebrated as a hero by Justin Trudeau.

He’s a member of the Order of Canada.

One of the biggest “help the children” celebrities on the planet, if not the single biggest.

And clearly, he got involved in this industry specifically because he was interested in little boys – it wasn’t an interest that developed afterward.

So this brings into question the entire concept of these third world human rights children’s aid programs, and the motivation behind them.

These people get caught molesting children all the time.

Recently, they made a big deal out of British Oxfam aid workers having sex with adult paid hookers in Haiti, something that wasn’t illegal. In fact, the organization didn’t even ban the use of prostitutes by staff. There were no allegations that any children were involved – and it had happened in 2010, and apparently everyone had known about it all along.

Look – if some guy works for Apple and goes to China to inspect the factories and visits a brothel while he’s there, is that a scandal? If you go to a hooker bar in Asia it is filled with businessmen on business trips. I mean, you can go into like, the morality of prostitution in the most general sense, I guess. But wow.

Why was the Oxfam thing a thing?

The Oxfam Haiti scandal blew up as this huge thing in February – meanwhile, the same month, a former high level UN official said that Unicef is filled with pedophiles.

UN staff have carried out thousands of rapes around the world, a former senior official has claimed.

Andrew MacLeod, who was chief of operations at the UN’s Emergency Co-ordination Centre, said that “predatory” abusers used development jobs to get to vulnerable women and children.

He estimated that 60,000 rapes had been carried out by UN staff in the past decade, with 3,300 paedophiles working in the organisation and its agencies.

“There are tens of thousands of aid workers around the world with paedophile tendencies, but if you wear a Unicef T-shirt nobody will ask what you’re up to,” he told The Sun.

“You have the impunity to do whatever you want. It is endemic across the aid industry across the world.”

As a followup to the Times interview, MacLeod wrote an op-ed for the Independent where he went into more detail.

But it never got any attention, being overshadowed by the Oxfam Haiti thing where no crime was committed and no staff member even violated company policy.

So I think it was a purposeful distraction from the fact that the entire “aid” industry is a pedophile racket (which also makes a bunch of money for dem programs in the UN and ensures the continued explosion of third world populations).

This is just obvious.

Firstly, it is obvious that if you’re a pedophile, you’re going to figure out a lifestyle that allows access to children. Just like if you’re a heterosexual, you’re going to figure out a lifestyle that allows you access to women.

In the latter case, it generally means getting in shape, making money, dressing well, driving a nice car, etc.

In the former case, what are your options?

Well, you can become a priest. You can become a boarding school teacher. Or you can go work for UNICEF.

One of the UK’s biggest charities has denied allegations it covered up the use of prostitutes by its aid workers in Haiti.

Responding to a report in The Times newspaper, Oxfam admitted that the behaviour of some of its staff had been “totally unacceptable”.

I’m glad to learn that Oxfam also condemns bestiality.

The problem, I assume, is that if they established a policy forbidding sex with the jungle creatures they’re allegedly helping, their pool of volunteers would surely dry right up.

But the charity said it had publicly announced an investigation into the allegations when they surfaced in 2011.

Several senior aid workers were dismissed following the investigation.

“The behaviour of some members of Oxfam staff uncovered in Haiti in 2011 was totally unacceptable, contrary to our values and the high standards we expect of our staff,” a spokeswoman said in a statement.

“Our primary aim was always to root out and take action against those involved and we publicly announced, including to media, both the investigation and the action we took as a result.”

This phenomenon is actually very common. Foreign aid workers have been caught again and again being involved in weird sex shit with the natives.

A judge has ruled that Britain cannot deport a Saudi migrant who has been previously jailed for a host of crimes because he has been “devoting his time to charity”.

Part of a gang jailed for torturing and robbing sex workers, Thomas Girmay was served with a deportation order in 2009 which would have seen the Saudi Arabia-born migrant deported to Eritrea, from whence his family hails.

Keep in mind, that’s only what the UK police had the balls to arrest him for. He probably did far worse than that.

But despite the London resident having been sentenced to 14 and a half years in UK prisons, he was granted the right to appeal this by Immigration and Asylum Chamber judge Nadine Finch, who said that the 34-year-old no longer poses a “danger” to society because he “was devoting his time to charity work, going to the gym and playing other sports”.

A woman, once given any kind of power in a society, will immediately start acting like a kike, and this one’s done this before, with no consequences.

Girmay “had also developed a business plan and was very keen to obtain employment when his immigration status permitted him to do so”, according to the judge, who said he would “suffer persecution” if deported to Eritrea, referencing a “real risk … of having to perform military National Service duties”.

Getting drafted in your own country is now “persecution,” according to the judicial system of the United Cuckdom. Think about how insane that is.

The convicted criminal, who arrived in Britain with his mother and three siblings in 1990, was part of a gang who repeatedly stabbed a Thai, male masseur in the neck before strangling him to death in 2004, and was sentenced to 11 years jail for theft and grievous bodily harm in the case of another robbery of a sex worker.

According to the BBC, the gang preyed on prostitutes “because they were unlikely to go to the police”.

In September 1999, Girmay was sentenced to 42 months jail for crimes including robbery and dealing crack cocaine, after receiving a number of convictions in the previous two years for which he received fines and supervision orders.
