No one could have predicted this.

Reuters:

The development of an official digital version of the U.S. dollar could help safeguard its global dominance as other countries issue their own, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said on Friday, weighing in with generally positive remarks on a hot-button topic at the central bank that has left policymakers divided.

“A U.S. CBDC (central bank digital currency) could… potentially help maintain the dollar’s international standing,” Powell said in introductory remarks to a research conference held by the central bank on the international roles of the dollar.

The Fed has just finished a four-month public consultation period soliciting opinions on the idea of a digital dollar. Fed Vice Chair Lael Brainard has emerged as a key supporter while Fed Governor Chris Waller has made the case against.

“As we consider feedback…we will be thinking not just about the current state of the world, but also how the global financial system might evolve over the next 5 to 10 years,” Powell added.

Well.

This isn’t really what he’s saying it is.

The dollar has already collapsed. And a fake cryptocurrency is not going to maintain global dollar dominance. Money is already digital, so this doesn’t serve any purpose in terms of what he is talking about. If you have the correct paperwork, you can internationally transfer millions or billions of dollars from SWIFT for fees that are not significantly higher than a crypto transaction.

Creating a real cryptocurrency as a CBDC would take at least five years (it took China longer than that, and it still isn’t fully implemented). The fed doesn’t have that time. What they are going to do is just going to be based on the model of a standard crypto scam – they’re going to be able to inflate the supply, which defeats the purpose of a cryptocurrency.

This is a ruse. It’s a dollar crash to replace the dollar, which was always the plan.

The plan is not to “digitize the dollar” – it’s to introduce a totally new currency, which is primarily going to be a UBI token for the goyim. They want to pay you to not work, to live in a pod and eat bugs, to take drugs, play video games, and die.

This tiny gay Israeli Jew is one of the key “philosophers” of the World Economic Forum:

There aren’t any “secret conspiracies” anymore. Unless you’re some kind of retard. Bill Gates already told you “coronavirus” was not really deadly and was actually just the flu. If you look at the plan for the “CBDC,” it’s the same thing. It’s not a digitized dollar. That already exists. They are talking about a completely new currency. They are going to merge the Department of Treasury and the Federal Reserve.

They’re going to give you an allowance, basically.

The question is: what will the elite use as a currency? They’re not going to use goytoken.

Well, probably Bitcoin, frankly.

Bitcoin might go lower, it might not, but if all of these big holders get liquidated, the bottom is $8,000. Michale Saylor is saying he can’t get liquidated above like $4,000, but I mean – who knows. I don’t understand that math. He’ll need some new collateral before then.

Nothing is safe, nothing is secure. But if they’re telling you they’re going to make a CBDC, that means they are admitting, in so many words, they’re planning to burn the dollar. I don’t understand how they can do that without first conquering Russia and China, because if they burn the dollar, they can’t fund their ultra-military, and then we’re just Brazil.

Frankly, I consider myself very good at this “big picture” analysis stuff, and any of you can look at my record, and find that for the last 9 years (anniversary coming up!), I’ve been more right than anyone else. But I am telling you right now: I don’t know what is going on.

The domestic agenda simply does not make any sense when contrasted with the geopolitical situation.

Here’s my best recent analysis: The Status of the Globalist Agenda has Been Escalated from “Confused” to “Chaotic”

The people in charge appear to have lost the plot, and this Ukraine debacle proves that they’re not really capable of managing anything at all. So even though it doesn’t make any sense, I don’t see any reason to believe they won’t just totally burn the dollar in the near future.

When things fall apart, they’re going to seize your property, they’re going to seize your gold. They might not seize your farm and your buried gold.

But the bottom line is: despite the current chaos in the crypto market, Bitcoin is probably the best bet. They can’t seize it without kidnapping and torturing you to give them your 24 words. But torture might make you forget your seed, and they don’t really have any way of knowing how much you have if you’re smart about it.

US Federal Reserve Debating Making Cryptocurrency Controlled by Central Bank https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/01/21/us-federal-reserve-debating-making-cryptocurrency-controlled-by-central-bank/ Fri, 21 Jan 2022 00:00:00 +0000

This is apparently what caused yesterday’s crypto crash?

How stupid are people?

4:13 AM EST. Asians and Euros bought it when it was at $38 something after American retards panicked and flapped their paper hands.

We can talk about whales, but whales are not selling unless they are planning to buy it back at a higher price. That is the agenda of whales. So when there is a dump like this, it’s driven by retail retards who saw a news headline. Whales might dump in that situation, because they know institutional investors are going to pick it up.

Whales are not stupid. Institutional investors are not stupid. Paperhand morons who know nothing about anything are stupid.

New York Times:

The Federal Reserve took its first step toward more seriously examining issuing a central bank digital currency, releasing a report on Thursday that examines the idea’s potential costs and benefits and opening the door for public comment.

In a long-awaited report, the Fed avoided taking sides and set out a list of arguments for and against a digital currency, and posed questions that will shape the debate.

“We look forward to engaging with the public, elected representatives and a broad range of stakeholders as we examine the positives and negatives of a central bank digital currency in the United States,” Jerome H. Powell, the Fed chair, said in a statement. Mr. Powell had previewed that a report would be forthcoming in May 2021.

Central banks from the Bahamas to Sweden and China are experimenting with digital currency offerings, fueling concerns on Capitol Hill that the Fed might fall behind the competition. Breakneck innovation in the private sector has suggested that the Fed, a key financial regulator, needs to understand budding private digital payment technologies.

A central bank digital retail currency would, basically, be electronic cash. While consumers already use digital money when swiping a credit card or making online purchases, that money is actually backed by the banking sector. A Fed version would be backed by America’s central bank, just like a U.S. dollar bill.

Given the U.S. currency’s dominant position in global finance, the Fed has been clear that it is moving slowly and carefully as it weighs a digital dollar. And officials have emphasized that they would not move forward without congressional approval.

“The Federal Reserve does not intend to proceed with issuance of a C.B.D.C. without clear support from the executive branch and from Congress, ideally in the form of a specific authorizing law,” the report noted.
Researchers from the central bank outlined how a digital currency could offer benefits and entail risks.
Such a currency “could provide a safe, digital payment option for households and businesses as the payments system continues to evolve, and may result in faster payment options between countries,” the Fed release accompanying the discussion paper stated.

China has been seriously working on a CBDC for like, a decade, and it’s still not finished.

China is a more efficient country than the United States by a factor of multiple tens.

The fed cannot magically make a CBDC appear out of nowhere, and it is basically too late for them to try. What they can do is make a fake crypto that is just a token with infinity issuance – i.e., the “digital dollar.”

That will be prone to super-inflation, much worse than the current dollar.

Every single expert says that making a digital dollar will make inflation go nuts.

That means it will bolster the price of Bitcoin.

This isn’t difficult math, people. Hodl the damn line.

No, it’s not a cryptocurrency.

It’s a digital dollar.

Cryptocurrencies have a controlled supply.

This is just going to be exactly what we have now, except they won’t print the paper, which means it will be way, way worse in terms of the rate of devaluation.

It is intended to set up the UBI program for the peasants. They aren’t even going to try to make it stable. They are just going to click a button and fill your account so you can buy bug meat and porno subscriptions, in your government subsidized tiny apartment in a midrise concrete prison complex.

If you live in an American city, look around you – they are building these midrises everywhere.

The elite know that the lifeboat for them is going to be Bitcoin. They’re not worried about the price. They want it as low as possible, in fact, so they can keep buying it up.

I don’t doubt the whales (and presumably the exchanges) are cooperating. This isn’t insider trading because crypto is unregulated.

Don’t put your rent and food money in Bitcoin. If you’re going to buy it, don’t sell it, and force the elite to buy it from you for more. Or better yet, don’t sell at all. Just don’t even check the price. Unless you’re trying to cash out to buy a farm, in which case, don’t do that when it is experiencing a serious price manipulation.

Media Being Spammed with Fedcoin Shilling https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/10/22/media-being-spammed-with-fedcoin-shilling/ Fri, 22 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000

The media is totally spammed with fedcoin shilling.

Yahoo! News did one of their “perspectives” pieces on it, collecting various news bits about a potential American CBDC:

Supporters

The U.S. can’t let other nations set the standards for digital currencies

“We may soon be living in a CBDC world. And if America stays on the sidelines, it could miss its chance to influence what that world looks like.” — Emily Parker, CNN

America’s global economic position will suffer if it stays out of the CBDC market

“With private companies pushing deeper into the digital currency space, rival countries seeking to seize leadership and a public that is moving further away from physical currency, the U.S. is facing a world in which it may not control or even lead the world’s payment systems.” — Dion Rabouin, Time

Americans would benefit from taking banks out of financial transactions

“Banks control the deposit dollars they generate. Their focus on profits means they provide grossly unequal access to financial services essential for earning, spending, saving and surviving. … Instead of private bankers, public officials would decide how much of the digital money to generate and how to lend or spend it into circulation.” — Jeffrey Sklansky, Washington Post

Digital dollars would have all the benefits of cryptocurrencies with none of the risk

“CBDCs benefit from some of the features of other crypto assets, including the ability to achieve instantaneous transfers. … At the same time, the element of central bank control over CBDC issuances gives them stability and predictability that is often absent from crypto products.” — Barnabas Reynolds and Donna Parisi, Reuters

Digital dollars would help poor Americans the most

“It is hard to get a credit card if you don’t have much money, and banks charge fees for low-balance accounts that can make them prohibitively expensive. But a digital dollar would give everyone, including the poor, access to a digital payment system and a portal for basic banking services.” — Eswar Prasad, New York Times

It would be hard to use digital dollars for illegal activities

“In a CBDC world in which digital bank codes are visible to the clearing institution, it becomes much easier for the authorities to identify the parties to a transaction, which greatly simplifies the detection of criminal activity and eliminates the black markets characteristic of countries that deal largely in physical money.” — Ajay S. Mookerjee, Harvard Business Review

Opponents

Digital dollars would inject unnecessary risk into the U.S. financial system

“During high economic stress, digital runs — panic conversions of other forms of money into CBDCs — would further destabilize the system. Even in prosperous times, CBDCs would provide a huge target for hackers and terrorists seeking fortune or havoc.” — Paul H. Jossey, National Review

This system would give far too much power to the government

“If central bank digital currencies were to become our payment system, government control of all purchases would become a viable option. … I don’t know about you, but I sure wouldn’t want politicians and bureaucrats wrestling with the temptation to enact laws and regulations controlling each and every transaction in America.” — James Miller, Connecticut Mirror

Digital dollars would be a privacy nightmare

“These currencies come with serious risks. Without additional privacy measures, central bankers shouldn’t establish them.” — Alexander William Salter, Wall Street Journal

The rapid evolution of cryptocurrencies makes CBDCs unnecessary

“A FedCoin is not an absolute necessity. Many of the benefits of future innovation should be equally attainable with private blockchain-based tokens.” — Andy Mukherjee, Bloomberg

Digital currencies aren’t a threat to America’s economic dominance

“CBDCs are coming. But they won’t change the face of international payments. And they won’t dethrone the dollar.” — Barry Eichengreen, MarketWatch

Yes.

It’s not really very simple.

China has spent years building theirs.

And that is why there will not be a move by the US government to destroy Bitcoin any time soon (in my opinion). They might do things to try to lower the value, and try to make it harder for normal people to buy it through various reporting regulations, but they’re not going to try to completely remove it from existence.

They need Bitcoin, a fully established alternative currency that actually works, as a fallback plan in case they end up with the dollar fully collapsing into a hyperinflation mess before they can put out a fedcoin.

From talking to a few normies recently, I don’t think people even understand the basic concept of inflation. Like if you say “more dollars in circulation means that the dollar is worth less, which makes it easier for the rich to pay down debt while taking wealth from normal people,” their eyes glaze over.

To be clear, this is what hyperinflation looks like:

Speaking on the ongoing issue of inflation in America, which is rising much faster than anyone in the media or government is willing to admit (as they also refuse to keep track of it in any serious way), Jen Psaki equated inflation to “having more money.”

You can compare that statement to the above photo of the value of a dollar in Venezuelan bolívar, and see if you agree with Ms. Psaki. I suppose that you can’t really disagree that inflation definitely and absolutely means that people “have more money.” But no, she is definitely not correct that this means they are able to buy more things. (And saying that the reason the ports have stopped working is because Americans have so much money they are just buying everything up is actually “trans children” level lunacy.)

Frankly, I don’t think there is ever going to be a legit fedcoin. I think instead, they are going to opt for a very simple system of tokenized credits in the form of UBI. That will be an app that they will just fill up with a certain value amount, which peasants can spend on food, pornography, and so on. Meanwhile, those who are not total peasants will be transacting in Bitcoin, or some other nation’s CBDC.

The plan is for basically no one to have a job. The entire economy is being shrunk down by orders of magnitude, first in the name of the impending inflation default, which will be blamed on the coronavirus (and on the unvaxed), and then excused with nonsense about global heating.

Jobless peasants will be given free rooms in government tenement buildings, on the condition that they are vaxed up. Then they will get these credits on an app on their phone. That will just be people’s lives until the system completely collapses, at which point most of these urbanites will just die pretty quickly.

The reason that they are shilling fedcoin is that they are going to conflate the UBI credit system with a CBDC.

Captain Obvious: Moscow Says US Money Printing Causing Global Inflation Crisis https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/09/09/captain-obvious-moscow-says-us-money-printing-causing-global-inflation-crisis/ Thu, 09 Sep 2021 00:00:00 +0000
Nigga, this bitch is just rolling.

Previously: This Economy Can Only Crash Now (No Survivors)

I keep telling you about this inflation issue, and I think some of you people don’t think it’s happening because no one other than me is talking about it.

Well, here’s the Russian government saying it.

RT:

By racking up trillions of dollars in debt and injecting huge sums of cash into the country’s economy, America has contributed to rising prices and lower spending power across the world, a top Russian government official has said.

Maxim Oreshkin, an advisor to President Vladimir Putin, told the Moscow Financial Forum on Wednesday that Russia had been forced to increase public spending, but to a lesser extent.

“The economic policy response to the crisis has to match the size of the economic problem,” Oreshkin said. “When you’re in the deepest recession since WWII, you need to come up with answers the same size.”

“Can you please stop crashing this plane with no survivors, sir?”

This is literally the “you can’t just X” meme.

But they literally can.

Nothing can prevent the US government from using its place as the center of the global economy to purposefully collapse the global economy as part of a lunatic “Great Reset” Jewish and Freemasonic conspiracy plot.

“Here,” Oreshkin argued, “I believe Russia has found the optimal balance between the size of stimulus spending and the way it is structured, which has made it possible to get out [of recession] and restore the economy in little more than a year.”

However, according to the Kremlin official, “the US, which has been running a budget deficit of 15% of GDP for two years in a row… has most likely gone too far with the size of the stimulus and the consequence is a global wave of inflation.”

Meanwhile, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned on Wednesday that Washington could ultimately default on its debt if the country’s lawmakers don’t agree to raise the maximum borrowing limit. “Once all available measures and cash on hand are fully exhausted, the United States of America would be unable to meet its obligations for the first time in our history,” Yellen wrote in a letter to members of Congress, saying reserves could be exhausted as early as October.

They’re not actually going to default, I don’t think.

It’s a weird flex from Yellen.

What they will do instead of defaulting directly is do an “inflation default,” and just print all the money to meet their obligations.

Obviously, this will cause the dollar to collapse, and the dollar will bring down the rest of the global currencies with it.

But that is the next step in their master plan.

The difference is, when Bane crashed that plane with no survivors, he had that other plane coming, and like, you know – escaped.

The US doesn’t really have an organized escape plan. At all.

I mean, they have this thing with the CBDC credit system for the goyim, but this is such a massive project – to totally collapse the entire global economy – that they can’t possibly have a clear plan for it.

These people couldn’t even organize a proper surrender to literal cave men.

How on earth are they going to crash a global economy and replace it with a technetronic control grid?

This is really complicated.

Basically, the vaccine seems to be a big part of the plan. They want everyone locked into a vax passport. They also want as many people hooked on drugs as possible. I’m sure they will just totally decriminalize fentanyl, and start handing out needles. The drug costs nothing to make, so basically everyone can have an infinite supply if it’s decriminalized. That will take out a good percentage of fighting-aged men.

But like… this is a really, really massive project.

They’re controlling it right now, using the stock market and real estate market to hold the excess dollar amounts. In theory, that will allow them to just slowly cause prices to rise, and then slowly transfer people over to their CBDC control grid, starting with the dependents – blacks, women, etc.

But the basic idea here is total communism – to completely remove the concept of a market. The entire idea of wealth then becomes something different, and it’s just… it’s hard to picture how this is even possible, and I really just do not believe that competent people are running this New World Order.

But we’re going to find out their competence levels pretty soon.

In general, I think it’s safe to assume that this is just all going to be a completely chaotic mess that they are going to try to crack down on using police state violence. If most people are vaxed, that might be possible.

My advice is the same as it has been this whole time: get out of the way and try to stay alive.

CBDCs Rising: Israel Has Already Tested “Digital Shekel” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/06/23/cbdcs-rising-israel-has-already-tested-digital-shekel/ Wed, 23 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0000

The Jews are already preparing for a digital currency.

This is a core element of the incoming new world order.

Jerusalem Post:

Israel has already conducted a pilot test of a digital shekel cryptocurrency, Bank of Israel Deputy Governor Andrew Abir said, perhaps inadvertently, at a recent conference of the Fair Value Forum of IDC Herzliya.

Toward the end of a panel discussion, Abir said the Bank of Israel had already run a digital currency pilot. Another member of the panel seemed surprised and asked: “You have already issued a coin?” Abir responded in the affirmative.

However, Abir said he was not optimistic that such a central-bank digital currency (CBDC) would ever be launched.

“I had previously estimated that the chance of having a CBDC within five years is 20%,” Abir said. “My estimate has increased a bit in the last year, mainly because other countries are advancing with it too. But still there is less than a 50% chance.”

In May, the Bank of Israel said it was preparing an action plan for how it could offer a digital currency. The concept of issuing such a currency has been in discussion since 2017, but it decided to accelerate its research and preparation for the potential issuance “in view of the rapid developments in the digital economy and in payments, and in view of the major central banks’ work on the issue.”

A CBDC would rely on distributed ledger technologies such as blockchain, but it would be different from the cryptocurrencies that are popular today, including bitcoin. The most important difference is that while cryptocurrencies do not belong to any specific country, and some are characterized by having no central authority to manage them, a CBDC issued by a country’s central bank would be regulated by the relevant state authorities.

“The option for a CBDC is still being examined, and when we made our statement last month, it was not to say what we are doing, but rather to share what we do not know and receive feedback from the public,” Abir said.

The real major difference between a CBDC and Bitcoin is that a CBDC is just the exact same thing as the current fiat money. A central bank controls it, and is allowed to set the terms on it. They are allowed to issue more of it. They are allowed to decide what it is good for.

They can shut down your ability to use the CBDC. They can simply block your wallet address, or they can make it so you can only spend it in certain places. They can also put a time limit on the currency, so it disappears if you don’t spend it within a certain amount of time.

So in reality, a CBDC is the opposite of Bitcoin. Far from having all the new freedoms that Bitcoin provides, it actually means that you will have way, way less freedom than you currently do with paper dollars.

It is absolutely insane that they are even so bold as to connect the concept of a CBDC to Bitcoin. The only similarity is “digital currency” – but for the most part, huge numbers of people are already on “digital currency.” Some large portion of the population receives their salary as a digital transfer to their bank, and then spends their salary with a credit or debit card. So for those people, nothing at all will change – except they will potentially have many more restrictions on how they are allowed to use their digital credits.

Every country is talking about doing this.

The Bank of England just announced that they are looking forward to a “new global financial system.”

France and Switzerland are in on it.

The US is talking about it, though because the United States is a third world shithole, they’re lagging behind.

Far from testing it, the US is just now doing hearings on the concept.

However – obviously – the US doesn’t need to develop their own technology for their own coin – they could just buy that technology off of our great ally Israel.

So, the slowness of the US implementation is unimportant.

What is important is that this is coming, and it will change things.

It is part of the Great Reset that everyone is going to get a UBI allowance from the government. This will be coins that are totally controlled by the government, which you can only spend how they want you to spend them, and which you will not be allowed to store up or use to build a business.

Small businesses will be a thing of the past – it will be a world of multinational corporations, where everything is run by a one party government that works in concert with these monopoly corporations.

Meanwhile, the people doing real business will almost certainly be operating in Bitcoin. There has to be some other system than this allowance system for the rich to transact in, and Bitcoin is just too obvious.

There are rumors that the Israeli digital shekel will be based on Ethereum.

I doubt this is the case. It’s possible they used Ethereum for a test, but the official design is going to look more like XRP.

These CBDCs are bad, bad news.

In all likelihood, the Jewnited Snakes is planning to allow hyperinflation to happen, and then they will come in with the CBDC as the solution.
