America is a powder keg ready to pop, so many of us believed that Hurricane Dorian, and the riots and looting that followed, would of course lead to a communist revolution, as the disenfranchised blacks took back what belongs to them in a rampage of justice.

However, the whole thing was a bust – far from an apocalypse, this storm isn’t even hitting America. It’s already completely past Florida.

There’s some rain in the Carolinas.

Parts of historic Market Street were under a foot of water and gusting winds blew rain sideways Thursday as Hurricane Dorian continued its unrelenting advance on the U.S. coast, days after devastating parts of the Bahamas.

Hundreds of thousands of coastal residents of the Carolinas were packing up to flee their homes or were already gone. More than 200,000 homes and businesses across the state already were without power.

The historic storm, strengthened a bit to regain Category 3 status, was about 65 miles southeast of here at 10 a.m. ET Thursday with maximum sustained winds at 115 mph, the National Hurricane Center said.

“It is the water that kills people,” Gov. Henry McMaster said. “Water is the real danger. And it’s clear that we are going to have a lot of water.”

This was basically the biggest media hoax since Russiagate.

Seriously.

I was promised mass death.

It looks like if we’re going to implement communism in America, we’re just going to have to do it the old-fashioned way: by voting for Elizabeth Warren, the Ultimate Aryan Avatar of True Aryan Socialism.

Apparently, the government likes to train for rural Amerikaner uprisings… just in case. This has been going on for the last twenty years, apparently, and no one saw fit to inform me.

The Robin Sage drill is considered a capstone test for new soldiers training to be in the Special Forces – which seems kind of weird, on the face of it. And then you couple that with the fact that if there was one place in the US that would rise up in arms against the federal government, it would almost certainly be rural North Carolina and you can’t help but do a “big think.”

Charlotte Observer:

A series of Special Forces military training exercises — including gunfire with blanks — is being staged across 21 North Carolina counties starting Aug. 30, and the Army is telling the public not to be alarmed at the suspicious-looking activity.

Known as Robin Sage training, the unconventional warfare exercises can be likened to live-action role playing in the extreme, with hostile engagement playing out between Special Forces students, volunteer civilians and soldiers out of Fort Bragg. It continues through Sept. 12, said a press release.

Heavily populated counties like Wake, Cumberland and Union counties are among training sites, according to the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg.

The students will match wits with more seasoned soldiers, who will “act as realistic opposing forces and guerrilla freedom fighters,” officials said in a release.

Sometimes it feels like the Civil War never really ended. The South is reviled by the mass media, and the government runs drills aimed at suppressing any possible White rebellion in Dixieland.

It’s incredible, really.

I always thought that Southerners were delusional and revanchist simply for the sake of it. Now, I know better. The federal government really does want them dead.

But I thought I’d use this opportunity to bring up a point about the imminent Patriot Uprising! 

Conservatives still think that the police and the army could never be used against them because these men in uniform serve the United States and the Republic and the ideals of the Constitution and so on.

This really highlights the delusional nature of most right-wing reactionary thinking. In terms of right-wing political theory, you basically have two camps of thought advocating two political strategies:

1. Wait for an ecological, financial and/or external disaster and run away to the woods to eke out a subsistence lifestyle killing squirrels
2. Wait for the government to issue an order to round up American patriots and watch the soldiers turn their guns on their officers and politicians in protest

These are not well-thought-out strategies.

The truth of the matter is that the government spends a lot of resources on preparing for an uprising and training its soldiers to not hesitate in putting it down. Meanwhile, there isn’t any serious White rebel group in America. That means there won’t be any armed revolution anytime soon, and even if there were, it would no doubt be strangled in its nascency.

People need to move past wishful thinking and come to terms with the facts of the situation as it stands now.

That being said, we’re entering a very turbulent and dangerous period of history and I’m not going to try and pretend like I don’t see more violence coming up on the event horizon.

The government has either deliberately or accidentally created an environment for violence to start escalating and getting out of control.

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of missing Aynor teen Zack Malinowski, according to Lt. Raul Denis with Horry County Police.

Christopher Anfony Brown, 20, and Javon Dion Gibbs, 20, were both arrested and charged with the kidnapping and Murder of Malinowski on Friday, Denis said.

Denis said that during the investigation into the disappearance it was determined that during the early hours of Aug. 26, 2013 the two defendants abducted the victim from his residence and transported him to the western portion of Horry County where he was killed.

Brown also faces drug charges, according to detention center officials.

19-year-old Zack Malinowski was last seen on Aug. 25, 2013, playing basketball in Aynor with his friends.

His car was found burned in the woods off of Valley Forge Road near Aynor later.

Lonnie Jordan, the stepfather of Zack Malinowski, said he did not want to comment.

“Please respect our privacy during this difficult time,” he said.

Brown and Gibbs have an initial court hearing scheduled for Saturday morning.

The South Carolina Court of Appeals reversed a murder and armed robbery conviction and has called for a retrial of a man serving life in prison in connection with the 2008 slaying of a pizza delivery driver in Sumter County.

Attorneys for Daniel Deangelo Jackson successfully argued state prosecutors improperly admitted statements of another man also convicted in the crime.

Jackson and Reginald Canty were both convicted of the armed robbery and murder of Sambino’s Pizza delivery driver William Flexon, 46, in August, 2011.

Prosecutors said the duo placed a bogus phone call for a pizza delivery to the O.C. Mobile Home Park in the Cherryvale area of Sumter on the night of January 12, 2008. When Flexon arrived to a vacant mobile home, Jackson allegedly gunned Flexon down and ran off with the pizza but left money in the victim’s pocket.

Officers discovered Canty walking nearby shortly after the shooting. He was questioned and charged with murder and armed robbery. Jackson later turned himself in on the same charges.

Prosecutors used Canty’s redacted statements about the night of the murder in court, but did not place the alleged co-conspirator on the stand. At the close of the State’s case, Jackson’s attorney moved for a mistrial on the basis that admitting Canty’s statements violated his client’s right to confront and cross-examine Canty. The trial court denied Jackson’s motion.

The Court of Appeals has decided the state’s admission of Canty’s statements did violate Jackson’s right of confrontation under the Sixth Amendment.

“We acknowledge the remaining evidence tending to establish Jackson’s guilt is strong,” the court wrote in a 23 page opinion. “However, the evidence is purely circumstantial, and we do not believe this ‘properly admitted evidence of guilt is so overwhelming, and the prejudicial effect of the codefendant’s admission is so insignificant by comparison, that it is clear beyond a reasonable doubt that the improper use of the admission was harmless error.’”

Jackson was serving life in prison without the chance of parole.

Canty is serving 30 years in prison for the crimes. He is scheduled to be released in February, 2038.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said a man wanted in a fatal shooting Sunday night was taken into custody on Monday.

Around 7:45 p.m., deputies were called to the intersection of Totteridge Drive and Ripple Road, in the Brookside Village community of Wellford.

Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said a young adult male was found dead at the scene. The coroner identified him as 25-year-old Brandon Soloman Bryant.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Dannie “Boomer” Isaiah Hamilton Jr., 43, of Wellford. Deputies said Hamilton was wanted on charges of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

He was taken into custody on Monday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Bryant’s family said he was someone who got along with everyone. His mother said people who knew him well called him a gentle giant.

Bryant’s girlfriend Kristina Whitted said they heard gunshots outside their home so Bryant walked outside to ask the gunman to please stop firing a weapon in an area where there were children.

“He wasn’t about the drama or anything like that, he tried to keep peace, he tried to stay to himself, that’s really basically what we did, he didn’t bother anybody,” Whitted said.

She said Bryant then turned around to go back inside his home when the shooter asked him to come back to the street, that’s when she said she heard three shots.

Whitted said as she was holding Bryant in her arms while waiting for police and the ambulance, the shooter came back and shined his brights on Bryant’s body. She said she’s feels safer now knowing the person responsible is now in custody.

Hamilton was being held without bond at the county detention center.

Anything deemed “racist” or discriminatory to black people will never, ever be allowed to occur in Black-Run America (BRA).

Racist (and discriminatory, since the disease originated in Africa… which you aren’t supposed to notice or else you are racist!!).

Daring to put an end to event that caters exclusively to a black clientele isn’t tolerated in America (consult the annual Indiana Black Expo in Indianapolis), for such an action would completely isolate the city that dared deny blacks true freedom in the “Birmingham 1963” category.

Which is why this story is seemingly so strange, unless you understand the back story (which we’ll get to). [Myrtle Beach raising taxes for Bikefest security, WISTV.com, 10-5-14]:

An annual Memorial Day motorcycle festival is pushing Myrtle Beach officials to raise property taxes by the biggest margin in nearly 20 years.

The Sun News reports City residents will pay an extra $40 more on a $200,000 home to hire more police officers and apply other security measures to get control of holiday crowds attending Bikefest. The motorcycle rally is based 13 miles north in Atlantic Beach but the crowds add to the Memorial Day tourists that spread across South Carolina’s Grand Strand.

A rash of violence during this year’s event left three dead.

The property tax increase is the largest for Myrtle Beach residents since 1995.

Property values in the city dropped about 5 percent on average after a reassessment this year.

Bikefest?

What’s “Bikefest”?

Oh… “Black Bike Week.” From Wikipedia, a colorful history of Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach emerges:

In 2003 a group of black motorcyclists, and the South Carolina chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, sued the city of Myrtle Beach and some businesses there alleging discrimination. The city was accused of abusing traffic law enforcement and of excessive force by the police to harass black bikers. Many businesses closed their doors or cut back their hours during Black Bike Week, and 28 of them, including Red Lobster and Denny’s were named in the suit. A Baltimore, Maryland police detective who is also a motorcyclist told The New York Times, “I’ve seen it myself. When the white bikers come to Myrtle Beach, the town rolls out the red carpet. When the black riders come, they roll it right up.” City officials said that the much younger crowd, and nearly double attendance, of Black Bike Week justified the difference in the city’s response to the two events.^[5]

In a May 25, 2003 article in the New York Times, Jeffrey Gettleman reported that a pattern had emerged of black social and party events growing ever larger in stature and then collapsing and quickly being shut down, particularly in the Southern United States. Examples given included Freaknik in Atlanta, Georgia, spring break in Biloxi, Mississippi, and various festivals in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.^[6] Myrtle Beach Mayor Mark McBride said in 2003 that the Black Bike Week crowds are “bigger and rowdier,” although that year the white Harley rally had eight motorcycle traffic deaths, while the black Memorial Day rally had three motorcycle traffic deaths.^[6]

In 2008, the NAACP issued a press release claiming success in concluding every federal discrimination lawsuit they had filed in Myrtle Beach for complaints during bike week events from 1999–2003, against the City of Myrtle Beach, and restaurants that included Damon’s Oceanfront and Barefoot Landing, J. Edward’s Great Ribs, and Greg Norman’s Australian Grill, as well as the Yachtsman Resort Hotel.^[22][23] In a settlement with the city, the police department agreed to use the same traffic pattern on the city’s main boulevard for Black Bike Week as they did for Harley Bike Week.^[22]

From 2005 through 2008 the NAACP carried out “Operation Bike Week Justice” in which a complaint hotline was operated, and teams monitored police treatment of African Americans, and the reaction of local businesses, as well as monitoring traffic patterns.^[22][24] Friendly’s Ice Cream Corporation and Myrtle Beach Friends Boulevard LLC was sued in 2008 by the NAACP for allegedly closing their indoor area and offering inferior outdoor service during Black Bike Weeks from 2000–2005.^[25]

According to an NAACP lawsuit, The Yachtsman Resort Hotel had required Black Bike Week guests to sign a thirty-four rule guest contract, prepay for their hotel bill and show photo ID.^[12] The hotel agreed to settle the case,^[12][25] and in addition to a payment of $1.2 million, the hotel agreed to provide future discounts and make policy changes including yearly anti-discrimination training for employees.^[25] The settlement did not require to hotel to admit to discrimination.^[25]

In 2010, the NAACP released a press release indicating that it would continue to monitor police and local businesses for possible discrimination.^[26]

And who can forget the events of the 2014 edition of Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach? [Haley calls for end of black biker weekend, WCNC.com, 6-8-14]:

After a bloody Memorial Day weekend left three dead and seven wounded, Gov. Nikki Haley wants to end the annual Atlantic Beach Bikefest which has drawn black bikers for decades to the tiny beachside community near Myrtle Beach.

But Mayor Jake Evans has no plans to end the event in a community that, during the days of segregation, was one of the only places on the South Carolina coast where blacks were welcome.

The Bikefest attracts thousands to Atlantic Beach – a town of less than a square mile, three oceanfront blocks and about 350 residents – as well as to surrounding areas along the strip of coast known as the Grand Strand. Evans says there haven’t been problems in his town but he is willing to discuss the need for more law enforcement in other areas during the weekend.

Police say the Memorial Day weekend slaying of three people in Myrtle Beach motel 14 miles away seems to be gang-related. A look at the controversy:

– Eight shootings happened during this weekend. Three people died. That is not OK for South Carolina, Haley told reporters. This Bikefest does not represent the people of this state. It does not represent what we are trying to do when we promote tourism and jobs. Haley plans to talk to Evans about ending Bikefest.

Black People Carolina Motorcycles 2014-10-09

Anderson County deputies said a man is in custody after a woman was stabbed by her ex-boyfriend and fled the scene.

Deputies said the domestic incident happened at a home on Tall Pines Road about 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Lt. Sheila Cole with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was stabbed and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Family of the 17-year-old victim said she lived at the home with them and was stabbed by her ex-boyfriend while everyone was asleep. According to the sheriff’s office, the teen awoke to find her ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Keenen Williford, standing over her. They said he then stabbed her and fled the scene.

“All I heard was that she was screaming that he stabbed her,” said Samuel Patterson, who was at the home when the girl was stabbed.

Grandmother of the victim, Kaitlyn Roof, said the teen had broken up with Williford weeks earlier but her family said things came to ahead the Tuesday night when he made threats by phone towards her.

“I’m surprised he did what he did because I didn’t expect it,” said Janice McJunkin, Roof’s grandmother. “He’s threatened to do this, but I really didn’t think he’d do it.”

Roof is still recovering at the hospital after her family said she was stabbed in the chest and on the back. Her grandmother said she is praying for the suspect.

“I don’t hate him. Tay, I don’t hate you… but I will pray for you,” McJunkin said. “It’s hard for me to do that, but as a Christian, that’s what I have to do.”

Deputies said Wednesday afternoon that Williford had been taken into custody. He is being held at the detention center on an attempted murder charge and was denied bond by a judge on Thursday.

Greenville County deputies have charged an Upstate special education teacher’s former student with murder after she was found dead at a local hotel.

Dispatchers said they received a call about an explosion at the Quality Inn and Suites motel on South Pleasantburg Drive near Mauldin Road at 5:28 a.m. Monday.

Deputy Jennings Autry said a woman was found dead inside the room where the reported explosion occurred, but there were no other injuries reported. He said guests in the surrounding rooms were evacuated.

Coroner Parks Evans said the woman had to be identified with dental records because of the severity of her burns. Evans identified her as 39-year-old Laurie Patton, of Travelers Rest.

According to the Greenville County Schools spokesperson, Patton was a special education resources teacher at Berea Middle School since 2005. The school district said additional counselors are on hand to meet with staff and students in the wake of Patton’s death.

“Laurie Patton was an amazing person and inspiring teacher and friend who cared so deeply about her students, their families, and fellow teachers and school staff,” said Robin Mill, principal. “Our Berea Middle School community is devastated by her loss. We will continue to pray for her family as we work through our own grief.”

Deputies investigate fire, damage to hotel room

Deputies said there were signs of a fire contained to the motel room. Specially trained arson investigators were at the scene Monday afternoon but have not released information about what could have started the fire.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office meth team also responded to the incident and did not find evidence of a meth lab, according to deputies.

Guests at the motel said they were awakened and evacuated to the motel lobby. One motel guest told FOX Carolina he awoke to the sound of busted glass and a bunch of screaming coming from a room.

He said he stepped outside to see what was going on and in the room two doors down, he saw a busted window and someone spraying a fire extinguisher into the room. He said smoke was coming from the room and people were yelling about the fire.

Another motel guest who was staying in the room right next door to where the woman and fire were discovered said she heard glass breaking and ran out to see two people running from the scene. She said she helped spray the fire extinguisher into the room and knock on doors to wake people up.

Deputies said witnesses reported an explosion but said there was no explosion during the incident.

Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark said deputies have arrested the wife and a childhood friend in connection with the fatal shooting of a Dacusville man. The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead inside his home Sunday.Chief Deputy Creed Hashe said deputies were called to the home on Devon Court in the Dacusville area of Easley about 3:45 a.m. Sunday.

Crystal Gail Williams, 34, and Marcus Channing Johnson, 35, were both charged with murder in the death of Shane Williams, Crystal Williams’ husband, Clark said during a press conference Thursday.

He said the motive for the killing was to collect a $250,000 life insurance policy on the victim.

According to warrants, Crystal Williams unlocked the kitchen door of the family’s Devon Court home for Johnson, who then entered the home early on Jan. 26. Warrants stated Crystal Williams awoke her husband and told him the fire needed wood.

That’s when deputies said Shane Williams, 38, walked into the living room where Johnson was waiting. Johnson then shot him three times,  killing him, according to warrants.

Williams’ wife and son said they awoke to the sound of gunshots and discovered him dead inside their home about 3:45 a.m., deputies said. But investigators said they found no signs of forced entry.

According to deputies, they have no evidence at this time there was a romantic relationship between Crystal Williams and Johnson. Deputies did say they were able to obtain cell phone records that showed the suspects were communicating about Shane Williams’ death.
