Tommy Robinson was filmed being arrested after visiting Canada for a podcast tour.

Officers in Calgary handcuffed the right-wing activist, 41, on suspicion of an immigration offence and led him into the back of a police van.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley Lennon, said he was released later on Monday but had to hand in his passport to Canadian authorities.

He posted on X: “Ok I’m FREE, well sort of, none of this makes sense.

“I’m now detained in Calgary, prevented from leaving the city, these conditions stop me from continuing my tour of Canada and meeting with guests for podcasts. I’m not even allowed to leave to travel home.”

In a video posted to his X account, he asked what he is being detained for: “This is absolutely insane. Get me a lawyer? Can you not tell me what I’m under arrest for?”

I don’t really know if I care about this.

He does it on purpose as a publicity stunt.

A Canadian pastor who has been arrested three times during the past five weeks for protesting drag queen story events for children spent Easter weekend behind bars for alleged hate speech.

The Rev. Derek Reimer, 36, was arrested on outstanding warrants last week while protesting near a drag story time event, according to the CBC. He now faces eight new charges, including criminal harassment, causing a disturbance and breaching his release conditions.

The Calgary police confirmed to the CBC that the charges are being investigated as hate-motivated.

Reimer, who is the pastor of the street church ministry Mission 7, was first arrested after a Feb. 25 incident during which several men physically tossed him out of Seton Library in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for protesting a Reading with Royalty event that was put on by the Calgary Public Library and featured local drag performers reading to children.

He was arrested a second time on March 15 in a parking lot across the street from Signal Hill Library in Calgary, video of which shows police cuffing him and dragging him across the asphalt before hauling him away in a police vehicle. He was charged with breaching a release order that prohibited him from communicating with self-identified LGBTQ people or being within 200 meters of events involving the LGBTQ community.

Reimer’s most recent arrest took place after he allegedly caused a disturbance and engaged in criminal harassment during a Reading with Royalty event at the Country Hills Library in Calgary.

Police said Reimer showed up with a microphone and shouted hate speech at event participants, according to the CBC. When the pastor reportedly entered the library and requested to speak with a manager, he allegedly made derogatory comments, engaged in hate speech and harassed the manager and staff, leaving them feeling concerned for their safety.

Reimer was also charged with causing a disturbance last Sunday outside the Saddletown Library, where police reportedly recorded him shouting things with a microphone that offended participants at the drag queen story time.

Shortly after Reimer’s first arrest, the Calgary City Council passed the Safe and Inclusive Access Bylaw, which prohibits protests within 100 meters of a recreation facility or library entrance. The council also modified its public behavior bylaw to include the term “intimidation,” according to the CBC.

The Rev. Artur Pawlowski, who knows Reimer and made international headlines himself when he was repeatedly arrested and jailed for keeping his Calgary church open during the pandemic, told Fox News Digital that Reimer’s arrests indicate the government’s “open hatred toward Christianity.”

Pawlowski is part of this network of Poles in Canada.

They are obsessively pro-war and pro-Israel, and they’ve abandoned their Polish traditions.

Everything about it reeks of an intelligence operation.

But even if arresting them is part of that intelligence operation… we still have to support letting them out.

Christian pastor Derek Reimer will remain jailed until at least March 14 after saying he cannot abide by bail conditions which prevent him from protesting at future children’s drag queen story time events.

Reimer last week was hit with a slew of charges, including those related to so-called “hate speech,” for protesting a children’s drag queen story time at a public library in Calgary, Alberta.

Today, Reimer, of Mission7 street ministries, had a bail hearing in court via video conference and was granted bail at $3,000.

However, his release conditions also made it so that he had to promise to not protest at any drag queen events and stay at least 500 meters from where they are being held.

His lawyer, Ben Allison, noted that such conditions “would be impossible for him to satisfy,” and as a result, Reimer’s bail hearing was adjourned until March 14.

As it stands, Reimer remains in custody at the Calgary Remand Centre, which is the same jail Pastor Artur Pawlowski was detained for weeks after being arrested for protesting COVID rules last year.  

Reimer was arrested last Thursday afternoon by members of the Calgary Police Service (CPS) after being warned the previous day that there were two warrants out for his arrest related to his protesting of a drag queen show marketed toward children.

Last Wednesday, Reimer had a CPS officer show up at his house to tell him that he would soon be arrested and charged.

The officer then told Reimer that he was “going to be arrested for it and charged,” later adding that warrants would soon be out for his arrest on charges of mischief and causing a disturbance.

The initial protest took place on February 25, which saw him forcibly removed from the Seton Calgary public library, where the event was being held.

Reimer faces thousands in fines, jail-term spanning yearsReimer is now facing charges for a “hate-motivated crime,” which could total over $60,000 due to his yelling “homosexuality is a sin” during his protest.

The CPS said in a press release that he has been charged with “one count of causing a disturbance and one count of mischief.”

Additionally, City of Calgary peace officers have charged Reimer with six counts of harassment under the Public Behaviour Bylaw.

These charges carry a penalty of up to $10,000 each, or six months in jail.

In June of 2022, Calgary City Council, under its left-leaning Mayor Jyoti Gondek, amended the city’s bylaws to “specifically prohibit insulting or demeaning behavior, including unwanted sexual advances, or harassing anyone on the basis of age, race, sexual orientation, disability, gender, gender identity or gender expression, among others.”

Gondek had vowed to use the city’s street harassment bylaw to go after drag queen story time protesters about a month ago, after some of the events were postponed by objectors.

She said that those protesting at such events could face a fine of $500, which she saw as a step toward combatting “hate and fear-mongering.” 

Before his arrest last week, Reimer told LifeSiteNews he will remain committed to exposing the “evil” of these events, which he described as playing into the “perversion and the indoctrination” of kids.

People who question gay anal sex with little children, and cutting their dicks off – they belong in prison. Giving freedom to them would deprive freedom to gay anal poop babies with no dicks.

A mad woman who wanted to artificially create her very own mongrel was shocked to discover that fertility treatment centers will not help her.

It is good to know that these centers are putting the child first and do not want to help destroy someone’s genetic heritage, or steal their ethnic identity from them.

Interestingly, they were not too frightened to say that most patients want their children to resemble them too.

A Calgary woman says she was shocked to learn of a policy at the city’s only fertility treatment centre that restricts patients from using sperm, eggs or embryos from donors who do not match their ethnic background.

Catherine, who asked to use only her first name, said she sought invitro fertilization at the Regional Fertility Program last March as a single woman. During routine consultations with her doctor she was told she could only use sperm from donors who were white, like her.

“That’s when everything went downhill,” she told the Herald. “I was absolutely floored.”

Dr. Calvin Greene, the clinic’s administrative director, confirmed the private facility will not treat couples or singles who insist on using donors of a different ethnicity. The policy has been in place since the clinic opened in the 1980s.

“I’m not sure that we should be creating rainbow families just because some single woman decides that that’s what she wants,” he said. “That’s her prerogative, but that’s not her prerogative in our clinic.”

A statement on the clinic’s website reads: “it is the practice of the Regional Fertility Program not to permit the use of a sperm donor that would result in a future child appearing racially different than the recipient or the recipient’s partner.”

Greene said doctors at the clinic feel “a child of an ethnic background should have the ability to be able to identify with their ethnic roots.” He added patients should have a “cultural connection” to their donors.

The Alberta Human Rights Commission upheld the policy after a white couple brought a complaint against the clinic about five years ago, Greene said.

They were not infertile but had hoped to use non-Caucasian sperm. “Our psychologist evaluated them and really didn’t see why a couple that is not infertile should be choosing sperm donors they have no cultural relationship with.”

Interracial couples treated at the clinic have the option of using donors that are ethnically similar to either one of the partners, he added, noting most patients want their children to resemble them.
