Speaking of Dutch schoolchildren, I’ve yet to hear the Moslems weigh in on this whole bug-eating thing. I would think it would be against their religion, but I have not heard them say that just yet.

For all the problems they’ve caused, Moslems have helped a bit with the gay stuff. They should weigh in on eating bugs.

Breitbart:

Dutch schoolchildren have been fed mealworms as part of a project aimed at encouraging people to consume alternatives to meat.

Aimed at encouraging the consumption of meat alternatives, the “Smaakmissie Avontuurlijke eiwitten”, or “Flavor Mission Adventure Proteins” project in the Netherlands has seen school children as young as ten fed mealworms.

The European nation has recently seen significant social unrest as a result of EU-level green agenda rules being imposed on its farming population, with planned restrictions on nitrogen emissions likely to put around 30 per cent of livestock farms in the country out of business.

Cracking down on farmers does not appear to be all the Dutch government is doing to push the Brussels green agenda, however, with the country now encouraging children to think positively about the human consumption of meat alternatives, including insects.

As part of such a drive, RTV Oost reports that elementary school children in the country are now being fed mealworms during lessons, with the Dutch state-owned regional broadcaster describing the young students as being “uninhibited” in regards to the idea of eating the bugs.

Such a view might have some merit, with footage of some of the children engaged in the projects appearing to show them responding positively to the mealworms, with many declaring to the bugs to be “yummy” after eating them.

The project — which is being run by Wageningen University & Research in conjunction with the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality — will also see children go on a virtual reality “field trip” to a lentil burger factory to learn all about the food production chain.

While the nature of the Dutch food project aimed at children is likely to cause controversy, it ultimately appears to be more carrot than stick compared to other measures aimed at propagating the EU’s green agenda in the Netherlands.

As children in school are taught the wonders of bug eating, the pro-EU government has been in open conflict with the country’s farmers, pushing for massive restrictions on nitrogen emissions to be imposed on businesses in parts of the country.

Ultimately, authorities are demanding that farmers reduce their emissions by up to 95 per cent in some areas, a move that will see up to 30 per cent of the country’s livestock farms be put to pasture.

Hopefully everyone understands at this point that bug-eating is a serious issue. They actually want to make you eat bugs.

The memes about this went full-normie, and this can trivialize something.

To be clear, in the next couple years, schoolchildren all over the world will be eating bugs. They’re not joking around, they don’t think this is cute or a novelty. The global warming people are in charge, and you do what they tell you to do.

You’re supposed to feed these to your chickens, not your kids

If Cows Continue to Fart, Humanity Will Face a Climate Catastrophe Regardless of Carbon Cuts https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/08/07/if-cows-continue-to-fart-humanity-will-face-a-climate-catastrophe-regardless-of-carbon-cuts/ Sat, 07 Aug 2021 00:00:00 +0000

You will eat bugs, and you will be happy, goy.

Just like the vaxx can’t save you from the deadly Delta Variant, there is no possible way you are going to be saved from the hot weather.

It’s going to be so hot, and you’ll be so sweaty, and all of your attempts to change your fate are futile and you might as well just give up and die.

The Guardian:

Cutting carbon dioxide is not enough to solve the climate crisis – the world must act swiftly on another powerful greenhouse gas, methane, to halt the rise in global temperatures, experts have warned.

Leading climate scientists will give their starkest warning yet – that we are rushing to the brink of climate catastrophe – in a landmark report on Monday. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will publish its sixth assessment report, a comprehensive review of the world’s knowledge of the climate crisis and how human actions are altering the planet. It will show in detail how close the world is to irreversible change.

One of the key action points for policymakers is likely to be a warning that methane is playing an ever greater role in overheating the planet. The carbon-rich gas, produced from animal farming, shale gas wells and poorly managed conventional oil and gas extraction, heats the world far more effectively than carbon dioxide – it has a “warming potential” more than 80 times that of CO2 – but has a shorter life in the atmosphere, persisting for about a decade before it degrades into CO2.

Durwood Zaelke, president of the Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development and a lead reviewer for the IPCC, said methane reductions were probably the only way of staving off temperature rises of 1.5C above pre-industrial levels, beyond which extreme weather will increase and “tipping points” could be reached. “Cutting methane is the biggest opportunity to slow warming between now and 2040,” he said. “We need to face this emergency.”

Zaelke said policymakers must heed the IPCC findings on methane before the UN climate talks, Cop26, in Glasgow in November. “We need to see at Cop26 a recognition of this problem, that we need to do something on this.”

…

Levels of methane have risen sharply in recent years, caused by shale gas, poorly managed conventional gas, oil drilling and meat production. Last year, methane emissions rose by a record amount, according to the UN environment programme.

…

Methane is also produced by melting permafrost, and there have been indications that the Siberian heatwave could increase emissions of the gas. However, large-scale emissions from permafrost melting are thought to be still some way off, while emissions of methane from agriculture and industry can be tackled today.

Climatology is not some hoax, goy. It’s as serious as virology. It is pure, unadulterated science.

You have to eat bugs in the name of science.

This is beyond merely shutting off your electricity and never playing a video game at 4K ever again.

It’s bug time.

They have protein. Some are crunchy, others are slimy.

The slimy ones are oddly satisfying.

European Union Set to Approve Food Made from Bugs https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/04/04/european-union-set-to-approve-food-made-from-bugs/ Sat, 04 Apr 2020 00:00:00 +0000 Spartacus

Would you eat her to save the planet from cow farts?

I don’t think this’ll catch on.

Unless it’s eventually forced on us in order to, you know, prevent the cowfartpocalypse.

Then people will be angry about it for a while, until no one cares anymore.

It happened with worse things than this.

The Guardian:

It is being billed as the long-awaited breakthrough moment in European gastronomy for mealworm burgers, locust aperitifs and cricket granola.

Within weeks the EU’s European Food Safety Authority is expected by the insect industry to endorse whole or grinded mealworms, lesser mealworms, locusts, crickets and grasshoppers as being safe for human consumption.

I don’t think the safety part was ever the issue.

Rather the, you know, being disgusting part was what made people not want to eat them.

I’m pretty sure eating worms and crickets is healthier for you than that food-shaped plastic they sell in boxes at Walmart.

The ruling is likely to lead to the final authorisation of their sale across the EU as a “novel food” by as soon as the autumn, opening up opportunities for mass production of a range of insect dishes to be sold across Europe for the first time.

“These have a good chance of being given the green light in the coming few weeks,” said Christophe Derrien, the secretary general of the industry organisation International Platform of Insects for Food and Feed.

“We reckon these authorisations will be a breakthrough for the sector so we are looking for those authorisations quite impatiently. They are taking the necessary time, they are very demanding on information, which is not bad. But we believe that once we have the first novel food given a green light from EFSA that will have a snowball effect.”

In the eyes of leading players in the insects-as-food industry, the potential for their high-protein delicacies has been held back by a lack of EU-wide approval.

If it’s good enough for Greta, it’s good enough for you.

The UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Finland have taken a permissive approach to a 1997 EU law that requires foods not eaten before that year to get novel food authorisation.

Those national regulators decided the EU law did not pertain to animals used for food. As a result, a host of insect-based products can be found in British, Dutch, Belgian and Finnish supermarkets. About 500 tonnes of insect-based food for human consumption is produced every year.

But such products are banned in France, Italy and Spain, among other countries. In 2018, a new EU law sought to bring some clarity. It stipulated that insect-based dishes would also require novel food authorisation.

Notice how all the countries that allowed eating bugs have shit food.

It’s the eternal dividing line in Europe – the good food ends where the good cars begin.

Indeed, companies such such as Protifarm in the Netherlands, Micronutris in France, Essento in Switzerland and Entogourmet in Spain are said to be preparing to ramp up their operations.

“We have many of our members building bigger factories because the key to success is to upscale your companies and produce on a mass scale. And this is already happening,” Derrien said. “We are expecting the next few years will be very interesting ones and obviously the novel food authorisations will definitely help.”

He added: “The sort of foods ranges from whole insects as an aperitif or as snacks to processed insects in bars or pasta or burgers made out of insects. We believe that insects for food is one solution for some of the biggest challenges we are facing on the planet. In the context of scarce resources, and insect production is not too demanding, you have the capacity to produce high-quality protein. That is a very promising solution.”

With the Coronapocalypse coming down, you’ll be lucky to have bugs to eat.

You’re more likely going to be eating Soylent Green.

This is your life now.
